Nooooo he’s described as being 24 or something like that as the body of Pein, so he died when he was 24. Kishi messed up on his age at one point but calculated out, and stated in canon at a different point he had to have been an adult when he died. I think the original Akatsuki would have been formed when he was around 18ish or something like that. That’s Kishi for you though 😭

iruka is narutos adoptive father…. iruka was just a teen when he met naruto 💀 big brother figure would be more understandable, but nonetheless naruto just has a warped sense of what a family feels like cause he’s been an orphan since 10 minutes post birth. iruka is a caring mentor to him and a role model to lean on and look up to. please stop calling him narutos dad 😭

9. worst part of canon

deidara. i’m jk in reality it’s the drop/change from LOW having naruto introduced to and horrified by the atrocities of the ninja world and the dark background of konoha and what it means to be a ninja to the intense nationalism and bootlicking being accepted as good a true. there are so many bad things about canon but that has to take the cake. honourable mention to misogyny.

sorry ik i already just brushed on this but i hate ‘narutos found family/naruto has a family’ fanon takes/aus. where did the story go. if that is the case, where did the story of naruto go. cause it sure isn’t here. also “obito is an incel” is the worst take of the century and i blast you with my mind if i see you saying that.

Just a little clarification: in the manga we are never actually told Sai's brother's name (presumably he's meant not to have one? Like how Sai also didn't have a name and would just be assigned them to use for missions) every time he appears Sai just calls him 'brother', including when they meet again after he's brought back with the edo tensei. Kabuto also just refers to him as 'the root/foundation member', depending on translation.

However because I've seen him be called Shin in the anime (and the databook apparently? I wasnt able to find out which of them came up with the name unfortunately bc I was curious.... but anyway) plus that name gets used around fandom, I'm gonna use it for his tag here just to make it easier for people to find posts.
