leader of the sassy man apocalypse.
biggest tone checker. "say that again, but nicely."
when you tell him a story that involves any other man, he'll interupt immediately and say smth like "oh, so your boyfriend" or "and what position were you guys in?"
pretends like he doesn't care at first when you're gossiping to him but soon he is thoroughly engaged. providing the most messy commentary and asking you to elaborate on all the details.
gets so peeved when you don't respond to his gm/gn texts. "fuck me then 😃" (jokingly ofc)
wears your fluffy headband/bonnet around the house to keep his hair out of his face and when you tease him for it, he claims you're just mad bc he looks better in it.
audibly prays for his life when you are in the driver's seat. spewing all sorts of shi about he's too young and good-looking to die 😩
OIKAWA, tsukishima, atsumu, YAKU, kenma, matsukawa, tendou, suna, shirabu
a saving grace during times of need.
a true gentleman: opens doors for you, buys you flowers, walks you home after dates, holds yours hand in busy areas, carries you if your feet are sore & kisses the back of your hands.
you will never carry shopping bags again in your life, even if they only have a couple of items inside. that's his job now.
as soon as an arguement escalates beyond playful teasing and you start to become visibly argry at him, he instantly hits you with the "yes, ma'am." or "you're right, darling."
when you give him your bag to hold (like a purse or a handbag), he takes it happily but is so awkward about it and will not wear it on his shoulder. he'll either hold it by the handles or cradle it in his arms like a baby.
prays and prays it rains or is cold so he can give you a jacket while on dates. and insists you keep it too, otherwise he will get a complex about it. why didn't you want it? do you think it's ugly? is it because you never plan on seeing him again? is it stinky?!
will feed you snacks while you're getting a manicure.

Hi!! Idk if you're taking requests but I'll shoot my shot!!
I wanted to know if you add onto the suna and Miya twins bully series where the reader decides to leave the team and join another (preferably nekoma) and gets a new trio (kuroo, kenma and Yamamoto) who actually praises and appreciate her and she decides to rub it in their face by sending videos of the trio fucking her and cute photos and when the Miya twins and suna try to confront her they get told off by her new boys😋
you've gotten petty and bold.
it's not like you planned it more like it was suggested to you. since you transferred to nekoma and made genuine connection to your team. it was like a weight lifted off you and you weren't scared on what about to happen. you don't get harassed after school hours and the team shows how grateful they are to you. going as far giving you trinkets they knew you would like.
nekomata-sensei treated you like his granddaughter and manabu-sensei looks out for you at times. for the first time, you thought that you really found your team for you and them the manager they always wanted. not treating you differently since you're a previous manager at powerhouse team and a regular contender in the nationals. a manager is a manager they say and you greeted them with a smile and the care you can provide for them as a manager.
that is the reason you have gotten close with the team captain. kuroo tetsurou. charming he can be and a handsome face to boost. it didn't took long for you and him to hit it and it extended with his friend and the team's setter, kozume kenma. you like kenma and it reminds you of yourself a bit. introverted and likes to keep to themself which you didn't mind at all. it took him a long time for him to warm up to you and the rest was history and there's yamamoto who can't talk without stuttering to you. kuroo said he's that nervous only when a girl talk to him. you find the gesture cute and other than his younger sister, you found out one time when you talked to him and he seems to relax at the thought of his sister, it was almost normal how he spoke to you like a friend. comfortable and inviting that's why you're the one who took his virginity.
“does it feels good, tora-kun?” you asked him, although a little breathless. his cock huge and nestled deeply inside your pussy. eyes closing and breath labored trying himself not to bust the moment you sink your fat cunt to his cock. “y-yes.” he stutters. fists clenching and he bites a back a moan when you started to move. “good. let me take care of you.”
then you began to have your own trio. the kindest of the trio. they would whisper you sweet nothings followed by appreciation that you were a good manager while you bounce on their cocks. you've never felt this so good about yourself, not even in the previous team you managed. this was the best and kuroo knowing how the inarizaki team treated you especially those three who fooled you, devises a plan. suggesting that you send a video and pictures of how they are treating you well and you agreed.
it was suna who received it. the videos and then followed many more. circumstances have forced you to left the school and went to move to tokyo where he recently found out that you were also the team's manager of the school volleyball club. he was pissed and then the twins received it. they were fuming. you allowed yourself to be somebody's cumdump instead of only them and they currently watched the videos you sent just to tub them in their faces from how good they were fucking you plus the praises that got your slutty pussy gushing.
first, it was you and then some three guys in the video. you're bouncing on someone's dick (yamamoto's) while you give a handjob to the other guy (kenma) obscured by the video and only his lower body can be seen in the video and you're blowing someone (kuroo's). his hands in your cheeks while he swallows your cock. telling you how much of a good girl you are for taking care of them and their cocks. letting them blow off the steam in their bodies to you. exceeding what a manager can do for her teammates. your speech garbled, slobbering all over kuroo's cock. they can see you were smiling while looking at the camera. swallowing his cock deeper and bouncing more on yamamoto's cock. a huge fuck you to them. all suna knows that it would be the first and last just to let them know how you're doing but it was proven wrong when you send a video again and then again.
it was different the videos are. one of them is you sitting while kuroo eats your pussy. the squelch of your pussy and the smacking of his lips can be heard while you moan in the background. your fingers gripping his hair while you grind on his face more which the latter eagerly lap your heat more. the other is all of your holes are stuff. dripping with their cum while you pose a peace sign with their spent all over you. it was endless.
and when they confronted you about it of how a huge slut are you for letting guys fuck you like that, let's say your new trio defended you. if they can't appreciate you they will and that seems to shut the ex-trio who are your bullies. ex-bullies.
you rewarded them three with a tlc that can only come from you.

˖ ࣪⊹ Just a bit younger
T.Kageyama x older!blk!femreader˖ ࣪⊹
Sum: While in Tokyo for summer break Tobio gets to practice Vollyball but also see his long distance girlfriend, what a surprise to the team to find out she’s older, and their rival teams manager.
Warnings: not proofread, fluff, flirty, maybe suggestive? cursing,
.˚₊‧ ── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ── ‧₊˚.
As soon as the team found out their bossy setter had a girlfriend they wouldn’t stop bothering Kageyama, pestering him with questions. As irritating as it was he kept to himself giving the simple answer that she doesn't go to school with them.
“Common I bet you're bummed out you can see your girlfriend huh?” Tanaka teased, earning a glare from the first year.
“Yeah, plus she's gotta be drop-dead gorgeous if you still won't show us a picture.” Nishinoya gawked.
“Or she doesn't exist.” Tsukishima scoffed.
“Well, she does exist and I don't have to prove anything maybe you all will get to meet her while we're in Tokyo,” Kageyama spoke his tone sharp.
“I agree with Tsukishima there's no way an actual pretty girl would date you.” Hinata crossed his arms only to get pushed out if his seat by Kageyama.
That was the whole bus ride, especially after He mentioned she lived in Tokyo. Some of them didn't believe she was real or tried describing her only to fail terribly in describing her appearance. Kageyama of course had bragged about her because he knew she was gorgeous, smart, and funny, even though he would never admit it to her.
The bus had finally arrived at the gym the boys came off the bus only to be greeted by Nekoma. “Took you guys long enough to get here,” Kuroo spoke His arms crossed against his chest.
It didn't take long for Kageyama to find her eyes, hers already looking and him her glossed lips curved into a smile that made his heart flutter his face flushing red quickly adverting his eyes.
“This is our Manager L/n Y/n,” Kuroo introduced her, “she wasn’t with us last time we saw you.” He laughed.
“It’s nice to meet you all.” She spoke offering a sweet smile.
It’s didn’t take long for Noya and Tanaka boy start gawking leaving her to roll her eyes at them, but then she turned to him. “It’s good to see you again baby.” She smiled at tobio.
“Wait, SHES YOUR GIRLFRIEND.” Nishinoya yelled.
“No Fucking way!” Tanaka and Tsukishima said together.
Tobio didn’t say anything his face just beat red as she laughed at his teams reaction, though her team was no different.
“Wow didn’t tell them about me?” She teased now standing in front of him her hand moving his face to look at her.
“I- I did tell them just didn’t show them pictures or anything like that!” he spoke his hand holding her wrist lightly.
She laughed once more, and an embarrassed Kageyama let his head fall onto her shoulder. “I didn't want them gawking over you,” he whispered his voice filled with jealousy.
Her nails trailed the back of his neck soon creating in his hair, her touch making him shiver softly. He missed her, missed her gentle touch and intoxicating laugh, the way she smelled. Everything, as embarrassed as he may get he couldn't care less right now, His face in the nape of her neck.
“I missed you..”
She moved his head up “I missed you to love,” he likes meeting his cheek.
It didn't take long for the moment to be ruined “You're dating a first-year.” Yamamoto spoke.
She turned around “Yeah? What about it weren't you Messing around with a first year?”
“Thats different.”
“It's not.” Kuroo and her said in unison.
The rest of the night went on as planned, everyone settled in their rooms, the coaches setting rules, and now everyone was at dinner. Tobio teams non-stop talking about himself and his girlfriend, they definitely weren't expecting her to be older mind you, of color. They just didn't see him as the type, but he was.
At the dining hall, he didn't see her sitting with the rest of the managers, so with his tray, he began to walk out the doors, and there she was filling up water bottles. “How come you aren't eating?” his voice obviously startling her.
“Oh, um i just over heard some guys were gonna practice in the gym after dinner so filling bottles uo before then,” she spoke watching him step closer.
He hummed, she must have heard Hinita talking about it. “Could we eat out here i can make you a trash and be right back…” he offered, his voice shaky.
She smiled up at him the sunset reflecting on her eyes and completion so beautifully. “Why are you so nervous huh Tobio..” she said looking through her lashes stepping closer to him.
“I'm not!”
“Mmhm wanna give me a kiss than before you go in?”
He nodded placing his tray down, giving her a quick kiss only for her to pull him back by the shirt. Oh! Oh.. She tasted like shea butter he thought melting into her kiss. Pulling away he felt all fuzzy, “I'll- I'll go get your food now if that's what you would like.. Can I have one more please..?” he muttered the slightest stutter in his voice.
“Yeah, you want another kiss?” she leaded, he hummed.
“I would, I would like another kiss.”
So she did his weight shifting pushing her against the cement sink, her hand placed on his face as she kissed him again her hands trailing down to his neck scratching it slightly causing a groan from him. Pulling back, their breath heavy as Kageyama stood up straight quickly. “I’ll be back!” walking away quickly only to come right back, cupping her face kissing her lips quickly “I Love you.”
She giggled “I love you to!”
I have no clue how to end this😔 but hope you like it!!

They Come Home Late Tokyo Revengers
ft: Shinichiro Sano, Kazushi Yamagishi, Takuya Yamamoto,
No one likes to work late, unless you're Shinichiro, but canonically he don't get bitches soooo
Call it a nuisance all you want, Shinichiro would argue that it was just another day at the shop. That man would spend hours upon hours in his shop, or rather, the garage attached to it. You never really understood why it was all important to Shin, you just knew it was. He loved fixing what was broken and what was better for a biker mechanic to fix than a bike? Nothing, if you asked the eldest Sano boy. He was bound and determined to make any and everything work the right way the first time. Yet, like a curse, any Sano could never have something they loved without a catch, a cruel take from the universe for the give Shinichiro received. Sometimes he spent so much time in his shop, or garage, or on his own bike that he rarely got to see you conscious. He always arrived home well after you'd gone to bed, and that's the thought that plagued him as he ate his cold dinner. It had no doubt been warm when you'd placed it in the oven, but now it was cold, and Shinichiro couldn't bring himself to risk the beeping microwave waking you. You worked just as hard as he did, if not more, and he didn't want to be a factor to your fatigue. He stayed against the counter for only a moment longer, finishing his cigarette butt before tossing it in a cup of water. You'd scold him for the mess and he'd clean it with a smile, as was routine. Shinichiro tried to manage staying at your place and at his grandfather's with his siblings, but he hated it when he didn't get to see you. Something about the decor in your home made him feel better after a long day, the muted, yet somehow bright, colors hanging over your windows and the old, shaggy, puke green carpet in your living room was always something soft for him to nap on. As tempting as the living room floor was, Shinichiro made a b-line for your bedroom. He cursed quietly as the door creaked open, letting his eyes adjust to the pitch black that swallowed everything past the doorway. He stumbled forward, hands outstretched to touch your dresser or the hope chest at the foot of your bed that he always managed to find with his abused pinky toe. A low bang echoed through your room, Shin doubling over into the stupid wooden box as his toes once again made sure he wouldn't slam his knees into it. "Hello?" Groggy was the best sound on you, if only he wasn't sucking in deep, pain filled breaths. "Jus' me, hon. Fuck, I kicked the damn oversized shoebox again." Thumps followed his words as he crawled over the chest and into your bed. Your tired giggles almost made him question why he chose to spend so much time with the bikes. Almost. You rolled onto your back as Shinichiro crawled over you, twisting the blanket around and forcing you to shuffle until you were comfortable underneath him. "How's the shop doin'?" A heavy yawn pried your jaw apart. The last thing he wanted to talk about with you was the shop, the last thing he cared about at the moment was the shop. So he didn't answer you, and kept you from asking anything else by kissing you. Muscles shivered as your fingertips grazed Shinichiro's skin, coming to rest behind his ears and over the hinge of his jaw. "M'sorry I been absent." Shinichiro panted softly as he pushed himself up again, flopping on the bed next to you, "I've got a day off comin' up, if ya' wanna spend it with me, Mikey, and Emma."
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
It never seemed to be enough. No matter how much work he did, how dirty his hands got, Yamagishi wasn't ever given the break he deserved. Takemichi was even being a prick, more often than not screaming about how Yamagishi and the others couldn't do their jobs right in any capacity. He'd taken more than enough abuse from his best friend turned boss, even Takuya was getting tired of the act. There wasn't anything the group could do right anymore, and they knew it. Yamagishi growled and slammed the radio volume to zero, more pissed than anything that his childhood friends were suffering and there wasn't a damn thing he could do about it. It made him even more angry to think harder on it: he didn't get his ass handed to him time after time, right next to Takemichi, for Michi to be the one hurting them all now. A part of Yamagishi always knew that gangs were never fun and games, but now that he was a higher ranking thug, he truly understood it. There always seemed to be a scowl transfixed on the man's face, but it became a deep, deep grimace as he pulled into the driveway of his too big house that he'd bought when he was drunk and now couldn't get rid of. You enjoyed it, it seemed. When you first moved in you had been more than excited to explore every damn room. Yamagishi's lip quirked upward, not quite a smile, at the memory as he failed to notice you watching him from the window. As he opened the door he couldn't help but think that you looked like a dog. Sitting on the couch with such hopeful eyes, waiting for him to give the signal that you could bombard him with affections as your hands did giddy little dances in your lap. Yeah, a dog. "Sorry, babe, not right now." Yamagishi sighed, walking past you and toward the kitchen. It was routine, after a few aggravated nights of him storming out because you failed to notice that he couldn't take much more emotion in the day. Of course, the second he was calmed from his day, Yamagishi would leave a lingering kiss on your hand, almost as an unspoken incantation that hauled you into his form with smiles, kisses, hugs, and multiple questions of his day. So instead you nodded and followed behind him into the kitchen. You weren't a golden retriever, that much was evident. Yamagishi pushed his glasses up so he could see you from the corner of his eye, "Are you in just one of my shirts?" He watched as your little hands grabbed the hem and pulled it down with a faint "yeah." A sigh tumbled from his lips and to the floor, thick enough you could probably kick it back up to his face, "C'mere." He liked your slow steps, unsure of if he was giving you permission to touch him, or if it was just a him moment. "Up ya' go." Yamagishi grunted, plopping you onto the counter, "Thought I told you not to wait up for me?" You complied easily as he pulled his shirt off you, revealing your naked body and underwear, "You did..." He sighed again, a more agitated sound, "Then why are you down here and not upstairs in bed?" No words so much as dared enter your throat, and Yamagishi didn't break eye contact as he dropped his coat next to you on the counter, his shirt following but looping over your head. It smelled of sweat, his cologne, and the coffee from the café he visited every morning with Makato and Takuya, it was hard to resist the deep breath you took. "Answer me." He helped your arms through the fabric, his fingers staying at your elbows. "Couldn't sleep. It felt wrong to pass out without seeing you first." And it was the truth. You had a routine down pat, and smothering Yamagishi with all the love he could emotionally handle was part of it. Yamagishi would say you were a smaller breed of dog, something clingy, like a Chihuahua and Dotson mix. His hair fell over his shoulder as he nodded and leaned forward to grab the whiskey from the shelf behind you, "Sorry 'bout it. But I can't change it." Whiskey poured swiftly into a glass, the amber liquid swishing as Yamagishi raised it to his lips, "M'really, really sorry. I wish I could change it." He placed a a chaste kiss to your cheek.
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
Takuya was tired and sore from weeks of sleeping in safehouses, empty warehouses, and Makato's couch. He took a moment to examine the new look, making triple sure that this was the apartment he shared with you. The curtains were new, not sunbleached like the old ones you loved so much, and the rug under the coffee table was a completely different texture, the only indication that it was still his home was the pictures you'd hung up of him and you, and the couple of you and your friends. Takuya silently set his duffel bag down, an order you'd given him so that you could make sure his dirty clothes were clean and he had fresh clothes to take with him, and pulled his jacket off to drop on top of it. Waking you at such a late hour would kill him, he thought you needed your beauty rest, even if he missed you like crazy. For the last month he'd been at either Makato's penthouse (such a vain man with money), or at Yamagishi's (who opted to have a simple home with room for him and him alone). As much as Takuya loved his buddies, one didn't have enough room, and the other had small throw blankets with a questionable substance dried onto it that Takuya shuddered just thinking about. He'd be thrilled once he got under the comforter with you, the two of you sharing body heat and curling closely together. Shit. He needed to hurry and get back to you. Clunking echoed down the hall, Takuya cementing that he'd just make it up to you if he woke you up. Though it wasn't something he had to worry about once he saw you sleeping peacefully, laying on your tummy with one leg pulled up, your knee poking free from the blanket. He ghosted his fingers over your exposed skin, not wanting to scare you awake if he just climbed into bed. "My darling, open your eyes for me." His voice was soft, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth as your eyelids fluttered open and you had to squint to see, "There you are. Sleeping well without me?" If you hadn't known better, you'd think he was truly upset that you could sleep without his presence. But that's just your Yuya, chuckling as he crawls over you to his side of the new mattress. It's nice, he likes it as he doesn't sink into the plush fabric, "You got a new bed." For a second you falsely think it's a question, but he's only observing. "Mhm, the old one was dirty." No it wasn't, you lying brat, you just didn't want to tell him that you bought it so he'd sleep comfortably. He can sense your lie, but doesn't care too much to debunk it, and he rolls you into him, "Missed you something awful, m'glad to be home." He's got rough hands, a callous built on his thumb from his weapon and a strong grip as he kneads your flesh in his palm. Takuya can't help but notice that you no longer shiver when he glides his finger across your sternum, your body no longer relaxing into his. "What's the problem?" Yuya asks, "Do you still love me?" Such a stupid question, in your mind it should be obvious that you love him. Yeah, the both of you never saw each other in the day time, you always get his bag packed before he wakes up, and save a quick peck on your cheek, you don't even get to tell him goodbye. "Why wouldn't I love you?" You ask, the question sitting wrong in your soul. "You aren't reacting to me..." He mumbled as his fingers dragged up your side again. It felt nice to feel him touch you after so long apart, to look into his eyes and smile as you held his face. It was peaceful. "Not physically." The way you chuckled sent his heart to work, and having you scoot closer was just as thrilling.

Hi there.
I do wish to share a hot about certain events and characters in Bleach.
I don't think Rukia should have been the captain of squad 13. Here me out, she is qualified to be a captain and has bankai. But not for the 13th squad. We didn't see her interact with squad 13 as much as she did with squad six (Renji and Byakuya). The only significant interaction she had was with Kaien who later [redacted] in her hands.
We didn't get to see the relationship between her and Ukitake as captain and lieutenant duo and...generally really. Meanwhile we have seen great relationships with other squads like Shunsui and Nanao, Byakuya and Renji heck even Komamura and Iba had their moments together but not Rukia and Ukitake.
It upsets me as an Ukitake fan that she gets to fully admire the same people who tired to kill her in their first introduction instead of her Captain who not only said fuck you to C46 but also went against the Head captain (whom he has generated respect) to save her life🥲
Plus they didn't even get a flashback moment in tybw anime before Ukitake performed the ritual. One of the reasons I detest tybw. And she even said his line from the manga'we all feel the same way as the court guard' like come on! It would have been an emotional moment if Kubo expanded on their relationship more😤 I prefer to just ignore tybw as a whole sometimes
I apologise for the rant but I don't hate her. I hate the way Kubo handled her character as well as others sometimes. What do you think?
Well. I despise TYBW, period, so you're already starting off on a good foot with me.
I categorically reject its existence in favour of FB functioning as an epilogue and an imagined ending scene where the next year they visit Masaki's grave, Isshin strikes up a conversation with Ichigo, asking "Hey, did I ever tell you how I met your mother?"
I'll just say for the record, you don't need to redact any words, mate. We're all adults here. If one word sends someone into a foaming fit they mash keys incoherently, they have bigger problems than a random stranger on the internet.
Anyways. That aside: I will say I agree with you. To a point. Rukia's arc was about overcoming her own isolation, either self imposed or imposed upon her. EG. her talents with reiatsu in Rukongai isolating her from her adopted siblings, her adoption into nobility, her perceived role as a 'Captain's pet', her guilt from killing Kaien (when you can tell he regained control and threw himself on the blade rather than hurt her, plus her orders to do it.)
Rukia achieving Captaincy is meant to be the thematic conclusion of that arc. Overcoming her isolation to become the leader her division need her to be in the wake of tragedy. We do see it a bit in the story.
Thanks to Ichigo, Rukia was able to form bonds with the humans in Karakura; she was able to rediscover her will to live; she was able to rebuild a bond with Renji (though I'm confused how the fuck her first adopted brother became her husband, or how she forgave him for literally trying to kill her the first time they met in 40 years. Maybe Rukia's got some twisted kinks) and form a proper siblinghood with Byakuya; Rukia was able to look in the face of the man she believed she wronged most (Aaroniero!Kaien) and tell him 'I'm sorry but until I've achieved my goals, I can't give you my life'; she was able to muster the courage to go against Soul Society's laws and spearhead the effort to give Ichigo his powers back, ultimately roping in everyone up to the Yamamoto to help.
As inheritor of Kaien and Ukitake's legacies, captaincy was absolutely in Rukia's future. But to my mind, it should've been an achievement she gained well beyond what the source manga covers. If Bleach was ever cursed with a 'next gen' series, Rukia should be in that line-up. (which, I will concede, she is. But I despise everything to do with TYBW and the epilogue, so I categorically reject its existence.)
I will also agree we absolutely missed out on anything that showed why Ukitake chose Rukia as his new Lieutenant outside nepotism and being Kaien's former student. We saw nothing of their working relationship. We didn't see Rukia coping with the extra duties of being basically pseudo-Captain all the times Ukitake gets laid out due to illness. We don't get to see her working with Kiyone and Sentaro as their superior or any connections with the 13th before she's elected Captain. We're in complete agreement there.
Thematically, its meant to be a triumphant end for her character journey. In practice, screams of nepotism and a desperate need to back fill ranks because everyone is else qualified is dead, exiled or a traitor.
I'll be completely honest with you: The kamikake is bullshit. The whole plot point is bullshit. It positively screams of Kubo realising Ukitake is the golden bullet in the war against the Quincy, given Sogyo no Kotowari's power is literally catching and sending objects back at a foe, empowered several times over (ridiculously overpowered against foes that use exclusively energy projectiles, no?). The whole plot beat is Kubo deciding, "I need this character to die because he's far too broken for this war. How can I justify it? Oh, lets make him a part-Soul King."
TYBW's adaptation is middling to mediocre. I gave the first cour a watch. Not only was I mind-numbingly bored, the amount of character content cut that gave us vital context to character reactions.
My first warning sign was the first episode: 2/3rds of the episode wasted on two plebs we'll never see again. Who really gives a damn about these two idiots? Really. Sure, the manga set them up to be Ichigo's new apprentices. Which would've been a fantastic dynamic. Ichigo's the veteran teaching the impressionable young rookies how to fight and survive (honestly a far better story than what we got) but Kubo quickly punted that idea to the curb and shat all over it, in favour of a war with absolutely no stakes nor reason to care, really.
The death knell for me was the second episode: Ichigo going on patrol after hearing about Sasakibe's funeral.
In the manga, Ishida and Ichigo have a conversation about it where they agree the only reason they were allowed to overhear that phone call - or rather, the only reason the random blebs of the week received that phone call - is because Soul Society was going to tap Ichigo for help. Ichigo went on patrol to calm his nerves because the anxiety of waiting was eating him alive.
Additionally, we had a scene with the Lieutenants discussing the disappearing souls in Rukongai, then promptly freaking out because they thought their comrades had turned traitor (again) and turned their blades on Rukongai residences.
Instead the anime would have us believe Ichigo sad over a guy he'd never officially met died. A guy whose only interaction was Ichigo shattering his entire ribcage to protect Rukia and Renji's escape from Sokyoku hill. And the Lieutenants' investigations/findings are cut entirely.
That told me everything I needed to know about how this adaptation was going to go; relentlessly hacking away anything worth paying attention to, replacing it with meaningless fights, jingling keys, more filler fights, shoehorned ""shipping"" (its not even that, let's be real), infusing boring characters with artificial relevance and pushing a worse narrative than anything the manga provided.
Don't even get me started on the bullshit they've done to the Soul King.
I didn't know how TYBW could get any worse or any more illogical, but congrats Kubo, you've managed to crawl under my expectations.
To sum up: I agree with you to a point. Rukia and Ukitake absolutely should've gotten more scenes together (maybe if Kubo stopped adding characters and built up the ones he already had...), Rukia's Captaincy should've been a future/next gen plot point, and uh, yes. I hate how every character is handled in TYBW.
(You're fine ranting. I've given you a rant in kind so I think we're even. lol)

Okay here's probably a surprise from someone who like Squalo so fucking much. I actually believe Squalo should lose the rain battle as he does(or if one goes about changing it that he should still lose in the end due to how he is). I will go into it below but it is going to be so fucking long. This is both breaking down the "realism" argument and the "Narrative" argument(though, this battle should honestly only be looked through the latter lens due to that being the purpose of it.) Anyway, let's break it down.
First and for most I'm going to attack the idea that because Squalo is more skilled he should not have lost "realistically", important thing to know, in any realistic scenario Squalo almost definitely would not win.
He is only a threat because of the fact that Yamamoto is new, Squalo's sword is literally without a doubt, shit. I have to be level about this because I hate this fucking thing with a passion because from a sword fighting perspective he has done literally everything wrong with this damn thing.
The only type of blade like this that had been intended to be fought with is a Calvary weapon, it isn't made for melee and genuinely just. Sucks when you use it like he is. It severely limits his options, trapping him to only using the exact same arm with the exact same maximum strength behind each swing, with the exact same maximum length. The ability to switch between one handed and two handed is a massively important thing with swords which is why smaller swords that you can do both with were the most common type. It keeps pressure on your opponent and gives you a much bigger variety of options. Not to mention with how it's attached to his hand in the past and future with what is only bandages in the present, and only a few red straps in the future.
This shit is so god damn unstable it's impressive his sword didn't just fly off when he blocked a hit. Do the same thing with some tape and a ruler and you'll know exactly how quick that blade will shift at the smallest amount of resistance that any strike with it would have landed lighter than intended, and I don't mean lighter in terms of strength behind it(though it would be partially). I mean all his cuts would end up shallow, he'd be incredibly ineffective. This is literally the second worst blade of khr and this one unlike that one isn't made of flame so it has no excuse(apologies this sword pisses me off to no end). You have to fundamentally change how this fucking sword is built for it to be even fucking slightly good, this ain't it chief.
Next, here's a major things, there is a reason there is a saying "The first best swordsman doesn't have to to fear the second best, he has to fear the beginner" because it's fundamentally true. Squalo would never fear fighting another master because masters have all become set in their ways, their techniques, you can read them and break into their weaknesses. But, Yamamoto isn't a master, and throughout the battle, he is evolving rapidly. Squalo by the end of the battle relies incredibly on the things that he had seen before, he threw out his caution because he "seen it before" by the point of Yamamoto throwing out the eighth move.
Squalo had grown too used to being able to read his opponent that when he saw Yamamoto going for something new, he instead relied on things he's seen before, things he expected, a surprise attack, which was his downfall, he had stopped taking Yamamoto seriously after the 8th form.
He had prosthetic, to snap backwards in case of sneak attacks, because he expected this move so much. When something wasn't as he expected he defaulted to this and the reflection on the water convinced him of it.
You can't read a newbie and that's what's the most terrifying thing for a master to fight. In fact, it's implied that Squalo beat Tyr the very same way as Yamamoto defeated him. It's stated that in the same battle as Tyr that he perfected his current style, meaning all of his techniques, but notably they say scontro di squalo is in fact what was used to defeat Tyr. It implies the sense that he created it during this battle, but what I find interesting about scontro di squalo, is that it's just flailing his sword around as he runs forward. This would be a move, only someone new and desperate would have come up with in reality.
It would throw off any master because of it's sheer recklessness. But once again, Yamamoto isn't a master and thus it's major advantage, is lost. Regardless, Squalo used to do the same as Yamamoto did and that's how he won there, but he made the mistake of believing his move set as perfect thus stagnating afterwards. His pride in his success and abilities, were his downfall in this match. Additionally Squalo's pride affecting his fighting was evident, in sword fighting you never dodge if possible it's really bad to because typically, you will not fucking succeed. Your legs are last in the orders of operations it's generally better and safer to block, parry and counter your enemy than it is to dodge. The fact that Squalo dodged a strike he knew was coming shows that he was over-estimating his own abilities and understanding of this style.
Finally the argument that Yamamoto would not be as strong as squalo is. Incorrect. In fact baseball actually engages the same muscle as sword fighting, and terrifyingly, there's one difference people do not typically account for when cross examining weapons. Which is, blunt objects naturally need more force behind them to do their work, while blades will typically have less resistance against the body. This means Yamamoto likely has a much higher swing strength than Squalo does with how violently he plays it, Yamamoto is like on, 'exploding a bird with a baseball pitch' level of play, and that WILL go into his swings.
If we were being realistic, should have broken Squalo's bones several times over with his back of the sword hits. It should be noted, the back of the sword while an anime trope of not being as dangerous, is actually just as dangerous or more so especially in the hands of someone used to using a blunt type of weaponry(in this case a baseball bat) the thin metal is heavy and powerful enough that the pressure on it would instead focus all the energy there, causing heavy bruising in the best of cases and something to break in the worst. Yamamoto's final move against Squalo, should it have hit his neck could have completely paralyzed the man from the neck down, or if it hit his skull, could have easily cracked and caved it in, and that's not bringing the additional momentum from it being a a strike with power added to it in the air. It is that bad. Notably, in the manga it appears Yamamoto switches the blade to the flat(not the back, this is the wide part of the blade) halfway through the strike so that it hits like that on the impact.
While this does typically lessen damage, it's mostly because striking like this creates more air resistance and slows down the blade before impact. However switching like Yamamoto does cuts down the slow and it would in fact do a lot of a damage. As even when it has more air resistance, a strike on the head like this is typically at minimum hard enough to stun a person. Which does explain why Squalo wakes up a few seconds after. But regardless, Yamamoto is perfectly capable of wrecking Squalo's shit even without physically training for the sword(which he did in fact do before this too but you know) in fact the fact he didn't kill Squalo in this match is impressive.
I want to additionally note the above, that Yamamoto's sword in the manga after is warping up and down like a door stop with so much energy put into it. Swords do wobble a bit when hit like this they have a bit of bend. But not THIS much typically. With the amount of force you'd need to do this to a sword you're more likely to fucking shatter it, now imagine doing that with solid metal against someone's fucking HEAD. The only thing preventing Squalo from dying from that is well the fact he is a cockroach and can't fucking die.
Now that we got that out of the way, we will now be looking at what type of fight this is. Battle manga focuses on battles it's in the name. But the important thing to know, is that there are several types of fights of which they can be categorized. I usually use 3 types(Narrative, Show, and Goal), though they can be mixed and matched but they cannot replace each other. They have different purposes and replacing one with another can in fact incredibly negatively impact how the story flows and character arcs grow, especially if you replace it with a show fight(one that focuses on a. character skills or b. entertainment value). But fundamentally what's important to know, is that the above that I've picked apart doesn't actually matter due to the type of fight it is.
You see, this is what I call a narrative fight(it is also mixed with a "goal" fight.) A narrative fight is something that explores the character and teaches them something that changes their character. It also is set to show something to the audience about the two characters fighting. Not their strength and their abilities, it's about their personalities, beliefs so on, things that can't actually be quantified. Almost all of the Varia arc fights are narrative fights. Fundamentally, in order to achieve what needed to be achieved, Squalo would and should never be able to get his hands on that ring.
Aside from the fact that Squalo would just kill any opponent he wins against if he doesn't have a reason not to(and in the case of the rain battle there's nothing there protecting Yamamoto). The rain battle is a battle of a lot of things. It is to teach Yamamoto humility, it is to show Yamamoto's progress from when he got his ass beat by squalo, it's to show the intense flaws of Squalo's pride, it's to show that insurmountable odds are possible to beat. Remember they're going 1 - 3(due to tsuna losing the sky ring) they're at an intense low point if yamamoto loses it's 1 - 4, which is more than half of the rings. But it's also about change. Yamamoto's entire style is about change. Squalo's isn't. Squalo's is incredibly ridged and stuck as it is.
For Squalo to win is to deny change is important, to say he is completely correct in being a prideful dick. To teach Yamamoto that this is correct, is very bad, because if Yamamoto were to fully follow Squalo in this? He would also stagnate the same way Squalo had. By breaking free of the competitive nature and seeing past the boxes of most sword styles with one that continues to evolve and encourages this. It's a battle of self reflection, and Yamamoto does this looking back over the battle, his last statements of it being flawless and invincible, is not a statement made to genuine belief that it will never change, but is a statement that because it changes it can always become something that will never truly be killed. But it's also something that pisses Squalo off, and Yamamoto is purposely saying it as a response, to goad Squalo into attacking. To blind him with his own pride and rage, to the new changes to the style, for Squalo to not see that Yamamoto has figured something out and isn't just being stubborn.
It never mattered who was truly better, because this fight is to double as a lesson. Should Squalo win cleanly or not punished for his pride, for being blinded by it, Yamamoto will not learn to grow. The battle is tailored to this, and changing it without understanding the narrative reasons as to why it ended up this way would ruin it's impact. It's not perfect it needs to be cleaned up a little with some dialogue changes and such, but honestly, the only thing that changing it would succeed in at best is a side grade should you make it so Squalo still loses. Or it loses it's impact should Squalo win.
I love the man I truly do, but this? This is one of the only fights where I will say he should lose. Other fights with him are much more arguably loose on which way they should go, but this? This one is a narrative battle that had complete purpose to his loss through and through. Squalo losing here serves a great purpose. He didn't even learn from it much which is a shame, but not surprisingly due to his character and what he represents. Which may be why he doesn't win any further up, because he does refuse to self reflect in any capacity.
#katekyo hitman reborn#khr#khr analysis#superbi squalo#yamamoto takeshi#I do change this battle on occasion to explore things but you need to understand the way this battle works in order to change it#Battles are literally so fucking important and I love them so much#but they need to be narratively analyzed just as much as the rest of the story#Especially in a battle manga#this is why i love writing fights so much because they can mean so god damn much

I think if I said who my favorite characters in media were, it wouldn't surprise anyone here. Instead it'd be like that explains so fucking much while saying nothing. So fuck it.
A list of favorite characters from every hyper fixation I've ever had.

I was typing this up during that whole other thing people may have seen. I don't know what this list can tell anyone about me. It is funny to go over for me personally because a lot of the characterization stuff I like from Milgram can be found in most of these series. Which is proably why I have trouble actually picking favorites in regards to Milgram since all of the characters have traits I enjoy.
But yeah that's a little bit about me I guess. I do enjoy a lot of the characterization I see in Milgram. This is much more casual and generally being written up to give some idea of my likes. Though most of these are good watches, reads, or plays. Most are pretty well known but I would recommend Spiral since it's not that talked about in general.
Well, that's it.

Ranking reveal please ! "5 most compatible with the oc of your choosing amongst khr cast' ✨️ ( — romantic ! or not! it is up to you.) maybe, with explanations? hehe
taking a little break from preparing the answers with the Entity (who was very pleased with them and is trying her best to articulate her answers because she hasn't spoken to people in a while) to do this because I have been hunted for sport when it comes to KW pairings/compatibilities-
These will be for Myr and Lidija, if anyone's curious to see this done with Anemone and Tristam let me know! The post would be too long with all 4 of them I feel qwq'
DISCLAIMER: Myr and Lidija are adults, so every non-familial pairing here listed is assumed to take place in a scenario where both individuals are adults.
-- [Myr] --
Yamamoto Takeshi (romantic) - Myr is naturally more attracted to people with a positive attitude, and Takeshi adds to it with his laid-back personality. They would work well together, whether it's a relationship or a mission. Takeshi's understanding personality would be a good "counter" to Myr's more sharp and aggressive one, though he'd probably draw the line the moment Myr puts herself in danger while trying to prove a point or strike down the enemy. She'd berate him for it, but deep down Myr needs someone to take care of her.
Adelheid Suzuki (platonic) - one could argue that Adelheid's tendencies to discipline could be a dealbreaker for Myr, but that would mean she wouldn't be friends with Anemone either. Adelheid will fuck you up if it means following her beliefs, and Myr would respect that. I feel like they could bond thanks to their abrasive personalities, Adelheid would have fun trying to get Myr to dress properly and Myr would have fun teasing her and making her angry on purpose.
Uni (familial/admiration) - a young but strong-willed leader who isn't her brother and who's in DIRE NEED of a big sister ? Sign Myr right up! Myr would immediately recognize that Uni is not exactly a normal girl and that her strength comes from within, not to mention her kindness and the way she maintains her child-like behavior even with the burden of her responsibilities. Myr would love to act as a big sister to her and with enough time she'd make a loyal subordinate and close friend.
Superbi Squalo (admiration/romantic) - to the surprise of absolutely nobody, yeah. Squalo is pride incarnate, he has a title, he's feared, and most of all, independent. That's exactly the person Myr would like to become deep down, at the cost of proving right all those who already consider her to be a monster. He's the living proof that being ruthless gets you what you want, and while she tries to push those violent thoughts away for the sake of Lidija and her newfound friends, he'd be like a "Stop Being Nice, Go Apeshit" switch. After all, if she was as strong as him, she could take back all that was taken from her by her family.
Lancia (romantic) - ok so canon gives out exactly 0 info about Lancia other than "he's actually Not the Bad Guy", but. As mentioned Myr tends to associate herself with strong people because she likes the challenge, but here we have a man trying to salvage what's left of his life because he was too strong and got manipulated because of it. It would be a great wake-up call for Myr, because she too is subjected to prejudice because of her past (in her case, her lineage) and Lancia would be the one to tell her that revenge and hate are not roads to follow.
-- [Lidija] --
Chrome Dokuro (romantic/platonic) - Lidija is a natural caretaker, and would immediately understand that Chrome is delicate. She needs time, it's a trial-and-error process with her. But just like she did with Myr, when she's dedicated to making a person smile, she doesn't give up that easily. I feel like Chrome would learn to see that Lidija is a safe place, but whether that would develop into something romantic is something I myself don't know if it could happen. I feel like Chrome's sense of relationships is a little warped seeing everything she's gone through.
Tsunayoshi Sawada (platonic) - discovering that the most rumored family in the Cavalieri halls is run by such a genuine and brave person would absolutely make Lidija Tsuna's number 1 fan. I don't have much on these two, Lidija's extroverted manners would probably make Tsuna feel a little embarrassed (think a bit of Haru's effect), but overall she'd be a loyal subordinate.
Lussuria (platonic) - they would be such a POWER DUO. Lidija could even learn a thing or two about sass. Since I HC Luss to be both an ex-stylist and an ex-architect, they'd have such long and interesting talks about a variety of topics. And of course, Lidija could absolutely act as a model for their fashion experiments! Overall I think Luss would act as an "enabler" for the more flamboyant part of her extroverted personality.
Dino Cavallone (romantic) - YEAH HE'S HERE TOO LXD FANS REJOICE I've always been a supporter of her and Dino myself because he has the looks of the typical prince charming and the goofness of, well... Dino Cavallone. What else to add? He's gentle, devoted, honorable, and would have a hard time saying no when she asks for him to gift her something expensive. As a treat.
Irie Shoichi (romantic) - he'd be like a plush toy Lidija can sport around. His soft but dedicated personality would really complement hers, and he'd probably trigger her more protective side with all his stress symptoms. Plus, she'd make the cutest assistant!

Kenpachi headcanons
More headcanons for this man because he deserve ❤️
Sfw and Nsfw content below the line
___________________________________________
Sfw :
Even though he's stubborn and rough, you like him that way and don't ask him to change.
it is very common for you to see him arrive at the quarters with his captain's haori all tattered and bloodied (Yamamoto will kill him after that) as well as the kimono he wears underneath.
You can smell the dried blood coming off his clothes. There are days when you wonder if he took a bloodbath.
At first he thought it was weird but after a long time he let you wash his hair.
Having your fingers stroking his hair made him comfortable but he won't admit it.
You are highly respected in the 11th division and if anyone dares to lay a finger on you he will cut that person in half.
He's proud of your strength and calls you to fight him many times.
You sometimes scold him for being impulsive and getting into unnecessary fights. He just gives you a side eye without saying anything.
And if you keep complaining he calls you boring and puts you on his shoulder while you kick him trying to convince him to put you down.
Nsfw :
This man doesn't look for adrenaline only in battles, there are also other situations...
He finds you extremely hot when you're fighting someone. Your strength turn him on.
It won't be the first nor the last time that the members of his division will see him carry you on his shoulder and took you to his bedroom. He doesn't give a shit about other people's attention.
If you tease him he will have no problem taking you somewhere and fuck you even if it's a place where others can see.
Knowing that you are not only strong in battle but also able to take him with ease is something he praises.
He doesn't like to take it slow so be prepared for something pretty wild.
There will be hickeys, bites and red marks made by his hands when he squeezes your skin. His hands were all over you the whole time. You will try to cover them up but he prefers when you leave them exposed so he can enjoy his "work of art".
You have no idea how much he loves to see you lying there sweaty and full of those marks he leaves on you. It encourages him to fuck you again and again.
Don't you dare hold back the moans, he loves to hear the sounds you make when he's between your legs.
Your legs will be shaky after and you can barely stand up. He won't let you get up until you recover. He knows he's hard on you and that's why he always treats you afterwards.
He has a huge chest and will let you sleep there while he hugs you with his strong arms.

Part 9 of Sass and Squirrels
So Xanxus may or may not be playing matchmaker. It is possible. Yamamoto is the only element of the other Sawada that Xanxus had approved of. He figures that it won't hurt anything if they manage to form a relationship earlier on. Xanxus might even manage to cut off the unnecessary softness with the brats under his supervision. He isn't necessarily convinced that it'll work, it seems Tsunayoshi comes by his bleeding heart honestly. But Xanxus can try. Still, he doesn't see whatever it is that has his little brother frowning, sand construction forgotten for the moment. Xanxus doesn't interfere. He believed, before he died, that his intuition was strong. Now he knows he didn't know what the fuck he was talking about, Primo's blood brings intuition to a level Xanxus's mind couldn't understand until now. Tsuna, unlike him, isn't active; but Xanxus spends enough time with his brother to know the intuition is already there.
Tsunayoshi stands up, toy knife in his hands. He turns to make sure Xanxus is still laying down beside the sandbox before walking off. Xanxus follows him with his eyes until the kid reaches Yamamoto before looking around. Sushi guy is staring, eyes locked to Xanxus's little brother in a way that makes Xanxus's hair stand on end. He sits up, fingers looking for his own weapon.
And his little brother stabs a kid with his toy knife. It doesn't break skin, not yet, but it's hard enough that the kid will have a nasty bruise.
Xanxus arches a brow.
Sushi guy stares.
Yamamoto blinks.
Tsunayoshi huffs.
"You're a meanie," Tsunayoshi lifts his toy threateningly. "Go away."
The kid's bottom lip wobbles but Xanxus gives him credit for not just running away. The brat stands, face red, and pushes Xanxus's little brother hard. Xanxus twitches, sitting straighter. But Tsunayoshi just wacks the other boy in the face.
Yamamoto seems fascinated by the entire thing. "Do you want to play?"
"Ok!" Tsunayoshi beams at him, the other boy already forgotten. "Come," he grabs Yamamoto's hand. "You have to meet my brother."
"Sure," Yamamoto nods with far more enthusiasm than Xanxus thinks is warranted. "Will he play with us?"
No way in hell. Xanxus deadpans at his brother, pointedly laying back down now that sushi dude is relaxed again.
"Yeah!" Tsunayoshi runs to him, tiny body lunging itself to Xanxus's chest. "San, play with us."
"Nope," Xanxus snorts, closing his eyes.
"Saaaaaaaaaan."
Xanxus pointedly doesn't react.
Tsunayoshi pouts.
Yamamoto laughs. "Maybe he's sick."
His little brother gasps. "San, you have to lay down, you're sick."
For the record, Xanxus knew Yamamoto was a good idea.
"What hurts?" Foreign little hands touch his forehead.
"His head," Tsunayoshi decides. "There," his little brother kisses his forehead. "Better?"
"I don't know," Yamamoto sounds unconvinced. "When my papa's head hurts, he needs a nap. And medifin."
Tsunayoshi scurries off of Xanxus's chest. "Can he give San some?"
"We can ask."
"Stay here," Tsunayoshi demands when Xanxus tries to stand up to follow them. "Your head, San."
Xanxus sighs but stays in place. He doubts Sushi guy will do shit but that doesn't mean he has to relax.

𝘀𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲.
loss. you always lose something. people have a habit of losing things . . . their phones, their keys, their wallets. some, their sense of humanity, or a loved one. things began to spiral the moment you lost your father due to gang violence. since then, you were not big of gangs. to you, they were all horrible. however . . . there a specific gang that made you question your feelings. the tokyo manji gang worked their way into your life and you weren't sure if this was a blessing or a curse . . . would you lose them, or would they inevitably lose you? reminder squad: @justmare
𐙚⋆.˚ CHAPTER TWO.
what does it mean when two strangers allow their eyes to meet?
you tried your best to have yesterday's activities pass your mind. but the sight of hanagaki beaten up so badly like that made you frown loosely. maybe you should have stepped in and stopped them. wouldn't that make things worse? and yet, here you were, reliving feelings from the previous day. the young boys yelled excitedly as they riled up the two fighters in the arena. a young boy named kojima from sakura ms, and a friend of hanagaki. you assumed they were friends because you've seen them together a few times ... yamamoto.
he was so pretty. blond hair that almost touched his shoulders. he had such a gentle face... he didn't belong here. he stood out. he seemed so fragile and yet the look on his face made him look [falsely] confident. the crowd cheered eagerly, throwing threatening words toward yamamoto and you took a deep breath. the yells and cheers slowly began to drown out for you, and you dug your nails nervously into your palms. you were just as bad as them. watching these young boys fight for their lives. and you didn't do a thing to stop them.
kiyomasa, with a cigarette benched between his right index and middle finger, pressed an end to his lips as he took an inhale. his left hand, gripped onto your bare thigh, giving it a rather aggressive squeeze. it wasn't comforting. nothing about him was. you wondered why the hell you were with him. you can leave! but leaving meant telling him something he didn't agree with. the crowd quickly grew silent, as he pulled the cigarette from his lips and pushed out a cloud of smoke, " begin. " and the crowd began to yell again.
" HOLD IT! "
a voice yelled from on top of the stairs, and many heads turned confusingly. you turned as well, looking to find the source of the voice, and your boyfriend did the same. takemichi, with a bruised eye, scars, and multiple bandages made himself known, and you felt sick to your stomach. he was persistent. why didn't he learn his lesson just yet!? a few boys began to curse at him, telling him to leave, and yet he stood there. fiercely.
" YOU KNOW, DON'T YOU GET BORED OF SEEING THE SAME DAMN MATCH EVERY SINGLE TIME? "
he spoke as he walked own the stairs cooly; his arms behind his head,
" YOU WANNA SEE SOMETHING MORE ENTERTAINING, DON'T YOU? "
he was either bold or completely fucking stupid. or maybe he enjoyed getting his shit beat out of him. either way, it seems like kiyomasa took interest in the blond's words, " something more entertaining? " he questioned takemichi curiously but still annoyed at his presence.
" F-FOR EXAMPLE ... LET'S HAVE THE KING VERSUS THE SLAVE. "
that was enough to make anyone go batshit crazy. but he was serious. you watched him walk closer, and closer until he stood behind you and kiyomasa. you looked at him with a pleading look; you don't have to do this! " fight me, kiyomasa! " it was quite the offer. and one thing you knew about kiyomasa was that he'd never back down on a challenge. and since he and takemichi weren't on good terms, he would be a fool to let him speak down on him like that. your thigh was released, and he pushed himself onto his feet.
you stood and quickly moved to the side. if they were going to fight, you didn't want to be anywhere near them if it broke out right there. kiyomasa turned, staring down at takemichi before they both headed for the middle of the arena. " you better not regret this, " he announced, balling his fist and drawing his arm back all-while having his cigarette dangling from his mouth. not even seconds later, he nailed a solid punch into the gut of takemichi and you adverted your eyes. punch, after punch, after punch ...
you knew who was dealing it, and who was receiving it.
the punches, the gasps, the groans and the cheering. the taunts ... " kill him, kiyomasa! " that's what got your attention. kill? no one ... needed to die. this needed to stop! and with takemichi badly injured; blood spilling from his crying face, you know kiyomasa would do just that. kill him. so upon hearing him ask for his bat, the sight from yesterday resurfaced like a flashback.
" that's enough, kiyomasa! " you found yourself standing between them. and you scared yourself. when did you get here?! you yelled at him, standing protectively in front of takemichi who was beaten horribly.
" this isn't necessary at all! s-so cut it out! " it seemed odd being in the middle of the two. any given moment, and you could catch a blow to the face. you had your arm outstretched as if signaling kiyomasa to stay put. you remained close to takemichi. so close that if you took a step back, you'd fall on him. so yes, standing in the middle was the only way.
" i'll kill you too! " kiyomasa threatened as the crowd seemed to die down. they were confused, wasn't this supposed to be a fight? " hurry up, damn it! " kiyomasa spat, looking over his shoulder for someone to get his weapon of choice. despite your hands trembling, you stood your ground. you had to. someone needed to stop this. and for some reason, you thought you could. the crowd was now silent, as a few steps were brought to light. " hey, kiyomasa. " a guy called, walking toward him. you peered around the taller male, looking to see who would ... hopefully come to the rescue.
" you're scarin' the crowd. " now that you got a good look at the person, you could spot one thing that made him stand out. his height. he was a tall male ... really, really tall, and he had shaved sides. blond hair that was pulled into a braid with only a chunk left in his face. from the angle you were at, you could see a tattoo on the side of his temple. was it ... a dragon? it didn't matter ... this boy was pretty scary. and you weren't the only one to be amazed by his presence.
kiyomasa took a slight step to the side, as the unknown male grew closer, " calm down, dumbass. " from the way everyone seemed to behave, you knew this boy was someone special. as stated before, you weren't affiliated with anyone here but kiyomasa.
you were just his girlfriend. so no, you had no idea who the hell this boy was, and why kiyomasa wanted to pass out from being in his peripheral.
and to make it worse, a shorter boy tailed him, stuffing his face with a dorayaki. he seemed harmless, really. well, maybe because he also had crumbs on his face, and a soft voice while addressing the taller boy by the name of ' ken-chin '. as you took in the two new faces, you glanced around as everyone quickly bowed to greet them; more specifically the smaller one. you allowed your hands and shoulders to drop as they only grew closer. and oh man, you wished you stayed in the crowd. being here, almost the center of attention was horrible.
and you knew you were in deep shit the moment kiyomasa spoke to greet them, and only got kicked in return. the great kiyomasa ... getting easily quieted by these two. they were ... terrifying. you wanted to look back and ask takemichi if he was alright, but you feared that if you, even so, breathed too hard with these two around you'd get tossed into orbit. and you ... quite enjoyed having your feet planted on the ground. but this boy; the smaller one, who you quickly caught on to be the commander only grew closer. his eyes on you. completely locked into your own.
and you knew better, these guys were kicking and threatening anyone that they passed, so you tried your best to move to the side and down as he got closer. so close, that he leaned into your face, and you leaned back, knocking both you and takemichi down onto the ground. your hands met the ground before your bum, and let out a soft, ' oof ' upon impact. you fell seconds after takemichi did, a bit beside him. however, your legs rest on one of his legs (since his legs were a bit spread).
the commander stood over the two of you, staring down as the other walked to stand beside him. " hey, what's 'yer name? " his voice was soft. you didn't mind listening to it. it wasn't anything like the other guy's voice. you stared up at him a bit dumbly. " h-hanagaki takemichi. " the boy replied, not fazed by your legs over his at all. there was a second of silence, " l/n ... " you paused for a second, wondering if this was okay. but if you didn't answer, you just might get your teeth knocked in. " f-f/n .. " you caved, voice shaky as you made yourself known.
" i see. so takemitchy and, " he looked over at you, " f/n ".
wasn't this a bit informal? either way, you nodded your head slightly after hearing your name. you learned his name was ' mikey '. you remained hushed, your body a bit paralyzed from the sight of them. they were ... amazing. you sunk a little into a daze before a hand was placed on top of your head, and fingers ran through your hair a bit. this hand moved from the top of your head to the back, then around to the side where their palm met your cheek.
your eyes met his; mikey's. they seemed so dark, but it was something about them that made him so fascinating. there was a faint smile on his lips, " i want you to be my friend now too f/n, 'kay? " he had an innocent vibe sense to him. but you knew he wasn't. his thumb gently rubbed at the apple of her cheek almost comfortingly, and your cheeks reddened in color, and your eyes drifted to look the other way. this was a bit embarrassing. eventually, mikey raised from his squatted position and began to walk the way he entered.
your eyes followed him until your sight was blocked by a hand. a welcoming hand outstretched to you, and you followed the arm to find the face. mikey's friend, ken-chin, was it?
" you alright? " draken asked curiously, " they didn't hurt you, right? " he followed up, and you shook your head with a quickness. " n-no. not at all .. " you figured maybe using your words was better than actions. he sighed slightly, " jeez. these morons don't have any home training ... " you took his hand into yours as he hoisted you onto your feet so easily. he was so strong that maybe he overestimated your weight because you felt yourself slightly crash into his chest.
" thank you. " you tried to play off the small stumble, and he paid you no mind. instead, he turned around with a ' yeah ' and focused on mikey who was questioning kiyomasa. he did most of the talking. because it seemed like the answer kiyomasa gave him wasn't the one mikey was looking forward to. a sharp kick into your boyfriend's face and it was certain that he had a broken nose. and usually you'd be torn by this. but for some reason ...
you wanted to ask mikey to do it again.
but maybe the short blond read your mind and grabbed a hold of kiyomasa. their height difference didn't bother mikey. bringing someone taller than you down to your level was always important in a fight. and yet, kiyomasa didn't fight him back. it was like he was a different person. as your boyfriend got punched by the great mikey, you watched him in amazement. and you held back a petty giggle.
karma's a bitch, isn't it.
with a small smile on your lips, you turned around and offered a hand to hanagaki, " are you alright? " you whispered quietly. but since it was already silent, you were sure everyone there could hear the whisper. takemichi's eyes shifted from you to the scene repeatedly, " huh? oh uh , y-yeah, i'm good! great, uh .. " it was obvious he couldn't focus, but he did grab your hand and you helped him onto his feet. " thanks (l/n) ... " he thanked you, and smiled slightly, dismissing it. you didn't do much to help him anyway.
kiyomasa laid on the ground, obviously punched down quite a bit as the two made their leave, and everyone remained stunned. they were dismissed; they began to leave quickly. however, you weren't in much of a hurry. while the arena began to unpack, you made your way over to where your bag remained untouched, and you gripped the handles of it. as you prepared yourself to leave, kiyomasa's friends helped him onto his feet the best they could.
" i'm heading home, " you announced, placing your bag onto your shoulder. " hold on, cupcake, you aren't gonna help us !? " one yelled and you shook your head, " sorry, i wouldn't be of much help. besides, you guys are strong enough to handle that part. " you then turned your back toward them, "this wouldn't have happened if you never started this. " you mumbled the last part and headed off, leaving them alone for the evening.
this was their mess, you wouldn't clean it up. you weren't anything more but a trophy.
a trophy that's hard to get.
that fate has brought you together, and your destinies are going to be remarkable.

Something I've been thinking about lately is how Yamamoto had a whole arc (yes it was anime only but I still consider those canon, SUE ME) about being afraid and unable to kill someone. Realizing he can't win against Genkishi and his future battles unless he is willing to kill someone. Squalo even points this out way back during Varia arc that Yamamoto is TOO soft. This is a only him problem too. The other guardians don't have these qualms. Tsuna HAS killed when he deemed it just. It all comes to a head for Yamamoto during his trial with Asari where he attacked Asari without waiting for Asari to say anything. He didn't know if his trial was even a battle trial, his brain just saw a weapon and decided it can't be "weak" anymore. Because his softness is what lost him against Genkishi. He is so in his head that whole arc that Tsuna, Colonnello, and Asari all bring it up to him.
And I just think its sad that no one ever told Yamamoto he doesn't have to kill or against his own morals to stand by Tsuna and the others. But what drives me more mad is that he's not willing to give up his position even if it means killing. Something he's so deeply against. It never even occurred to him. He realized the mafia wasn't a game and became willing to do anything in his power to continue staying with the others. The fight with Genkishi fucked Yamamoto up really hard and the stuff it did for his character makes my brain swirl man. Along with his loss in Choice. Yamamoto is competitive but in a really bad way, in a way that eats up at him and makes him make bad decisions against his own moral code.

Can’t wait for part two :D!!!
I have been struggling for two days to find the time to make the second one, but fuck it, I have no made time!
Taiju, Yuzuha, and Hakkai Shiba
Taiju only respects you because you are older.
he'll constantly try and fight you, usually ending in a tie.
Doesn't enjoy that you are also a gang leader, he can't even plan an attack against you because you clobber the shit out of him at home
you're out of town a lot, which gives taiju the chance to hurt Yuzuha and Hakkai, but when you come back it's a full out brawl.
Yuzuha keeps you updated on anything, especially Hakkai's stuff.
Hakkai was your BABY, bro. He was never out of your arms, even if taiju was having a tantrum
Hanma Shuji
he doesn't give a shit
until he meets Kisaki and NEEDS you to show him just how cool you are
you were fully unimpressed, and decide to just move on with your day
when he was younger, he'd run to you about everything.
kids at school, his teachers, spoiled brat had nothing to worry about because you cared about him
he gets his cigarettes through you. because why would either of you worry about what the Surgeon General thinks?
you also taught him how to light a match off the sole of his shoe, congrats, he's a pyro now
Makato Suzuki
him and his friends are glued to your side
weirdly enough, he's got you ordering his porno mags for him
he likes to stand under your arm in public, everyone has to know that you, a big badass, is his older sibling
throws your name around just to save his ass, keeping you in constant fights
life never lacks excitement when he's dragged back to you by your own guys because he fucked around and tossed your name out when your guys don't know you have siblings
Takuya Yamamoto
he's humble about it, the sweet angel
accidently brings it up one day and Yamagishi obviously knows who you are, your gang name anyway
Taku has to sit and listen to all the cool stats Yamagishi spits at him about you, one after another about how great you are
he knows you're amazing, but hearing someone brag on you like you were their family irked him
so he brings up things Yamagishi doesn't know, blowing his friends mind
he's not too humble after that, proudly talking about fights you'd been in that weren't known

So I have noticed something very interesting. Gin is buttering up aizen to feed him to the god machine as some premuim petrol. BUT ALSO many powerful souls that die DON't get fed to the god machine. They go to hell because they are powerfull enough that their removal from the world harms the god machine more than feeding them helps it. So my question is, whats up with that?
there's a couple parts to this:
Powerful souls that go to hell because they're powerful ARE STILL feeding The Life Machine- All that power they're off-gassing in Hell is still going into The Life machine- Hell exists more or less as a ringer to squeeze spiritual energy out of souls before sending them back into the cycle to grow again.
It harms The Life machine more to consume a powerful soul in totality because then The Life Machine doesn't get to use that *particualrly good* soul to generate energy it needs again, and again, and again- So someone like Yamamoto is going to go around about a zillion more times, if things go well.
Problem is, things are NOT going well right now- the wheel is jammed and not giving the Life Machine nearly the energy it needs, so it needs an emergency calorie dump while Tech Support works out how to unjam the wheel, which may, technically, involve stopping and starting it again.
The final thing is a matter of scale. if we think of souls in terms of calories: >Regular animal/plant soul: One Cheez-it. Not a lot individually, but they add up. >Regular Human Soul: One Chicken Nugget/celery and peanut butter. it's technically a snack, but it's not satisfying on it's own. >Average Shingami, Quincy footsoldier or lesser hollow Soul: Fast-food meal. About as much food at most people really need in a day. >Captain-class Shinigami or Espada-class Hollows or Sternritter: Giant Meal At Grandma's House that leaves you passed out on the couch and the leftovers she sends you home with that feed you for a week. >Aizen, once he fuses with the hollow inside the Hogyoku and achieves his Final Form: Actually eating every last crumb of every last dish at the Family Reunion thanksgiving with four grandmas cooking: Two turkeys, A Standing Rib Roast, A Ham, six kinds of soup, two salads, four types of baked vegetables, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, baked potatoes, potatoes au gratin, popovers, busicuits, rolls and bread, an actual ocean of gravy- and then there's dessert: Apple pie, pumkin pie, pecan pie, cherry pie, chocolate cake, cookies, early christmas cookies, avalanches of whipped cream. And ofc- cider and beer and hot chocolate and coffee and soda and fuck it just drink a whole gallon of milk while you're at it. More food than any human should consume in a whole year, let alone one sitting.
So you can see why Aizen is getting pulled out of the cycle for special treatment. He's gonna be there for The Life Machine to gnaw on for most of the series. And even then, after suffering the most direct and intimate contact anyone can get with what passes for god, The Life Machine may yet choose to send his empty, heavily chewed husk back for another turn because that why waste the seed of a good crop like?

Oh, I hate the new sub-story so much...
What in the ever loving fuck possessed KLAB to create a Christmas story during the seventeen months Ichigo was powerless?
Even worse!
Have Rukia go to the World of the Living to visit Inoue who callously plans a Just Girls Christmas party?
Then she just... Goes to the Soul Society?
Yes! Thank you, Nanao!
And it's so obvious the way they left out the characters that would be seriously pissed about these plans...
I still don't understand why Rukia is in this but...
And it's way too soon for the Fullbrings to appear! Why were they forcefully dropped into this mess?
Then they go to Inoue's apartment for the Christmas party (which implies that the "Karakura team" did nothing else together but go to school and fight when Ichigo had his powers... Which is not a good look for those who paint them as the best of friends.) and for some reason an underaged Inoue, who can't buy alcohol, still goes looking for booze to give to Rangiku!?!?!? (why is she everywhere in these sub stories?!)
Okay?!?
Then, if you can visit Inoue, you can all get your asses into Gigai and visit Ichigo just to remind him he's not been forgotten???
You know... As friends do?
I understand that Yamamoto probably had some orders forbidding the Captains to interfere in Ichigo's life (Yamamoto was known for making some stupid ass decisions on occasions..) but you have access to the Kuchiki Clan Senkaimon and I'm sure your brother would find a way to send you incognito.
All of this sub story rubs me the wrong way...

KHR reread
Okay I just wanted to continue reading normally but...
Chapter 53
FUCKING WHAT???? The hell??? I don't remember that from the anime...
---
Bigger chapter jump
Chapter 58
You know, I think the main reason why Kyoya is my favourite KHR character beside the fact that he's hot as sin is because Kyoya just does his own thing. He knows what he wants in life and he will do everything to get it, not giving a shit what other people think of him. As an anxious bean that just cares too damn much about fucking everything I can really admire that, because while I sometimes want to just say: "fuck it!" most of the time fear still freezes me in place.
---
Go team go!!!
Chapter 61
FINISHED DAILY LIFE ARC!!! IT ONLY TOOK ME A BILLION YEARS!
Now... it's pineapple guy time!!
---
Starting off with Hayato looking gooooood~ @eternitas @dontknow-willaddlater I'm offering you this as tribute
---
Get therapy dude, also this seems to be a Dera focused chapter so I might just throw some more screenshots of him to feed my Dera simp mutuals.
Bit blushy bomb boy...
more blush and more emotions
I can't describe the expression maybe a wistful smile? anyways i like it so here you go! Lou, Mäx don't tell me I don't feed you guys okay... I'm doing my best here.
---
🥺🥺🥺happy Tsuna... happy Tsuna is good Tsuna!!
---
YAMAMOTO WENT TO FUCKING ITALY???? I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THAT??? DUDE YOU COULD HAVE SO MANY SHENANIGANS LIKE WHAT THE HELL!!! Yamamoto somehow meeting Squalo early... Yamamoto learning some Italian... Yamamoto getting closer to Dino as a result... How long was this vacation? Just a few days? I don't even care dude I feel cheated why didn't I know about this... Like again it's probably totally irrelevant in the grand scheme of things but HE WENT TO FUCKING ITALY!!! Sorry for flipping out about a super small panel in the crack part of the manga but again I feel like you could play around with that so much.
