“Dashi, I'm gonna get grape juice, do you want some?” Kenma asked standing up from his chair after ending his stream that went on for almost 3 hours. Yamaguchi just shook his head while intently playing genshin impact.

Its been three days since yamaguchi challenged the spiral abyss and up until now he could not finish floor 11 because of chamber 3. He hissed as another challenge failed appeared on his phone. “ I swear to god, how do people finish this with three stars?!”

Kenma just chuckled at the scene because first it was cute and he had already finished all the floors a long time ago. As he sits beside yamaguchi, his head just automatically falls on the other’s shoulder who’s busy furrowing his eyebrows as he aggressively taps on the screen of his device.

While sipping on his grape juice, kenma just silently watched yamaguchi play. He couldn’t help but to notice how his team’s damage can be maximized if only yamaguchi paid attention to the reactions and energy recharge but kenma knows how yamaguchi just wants to play it as he likes. After all, yamaguchi installed it since he saw how happy kenma plays it so he was curious.

Yamaguchi drew a fist in the air as he completed all the chambers of floor 11, “finally!  This lawachurl is so annoying.” he exclaimed before picking his first party for floor 12. Kenma just observes him, he finds it so cute as yamaguchi treats the game like its life and death. He saw how yamaguchi plays with his lips when focusing on the game, picking it’s skin, subtly gnawing on it.

“Gosh im so nervous on floor 12, i just want my 36 stars,” the green head expressed his anxiety of not perfecting the floors, he’s keenly deciding which characters to make up his party.

“Hey ken? So how do I finish this in 36 stars like you did?” He seriously asked kenma causing him to be startled because kenma jolted—maybe because he was too focused on yamaguchi.

He just smiled at him and said it's all about luck, it made yamaguchi confused tilting his head. “What do you mean?”

“My secret, it's just luck. I always win because i have my lucky charm”

Yamaguchi never heard of this lucky charm so he asked, “Can I borrow it? Just for this floor im getting anxious”

Kenma laughed at his face making him slightly annoyed which the blonde one noticed so, “you can't borrow it dashi, its you”

Call it corny or cheesy but it always works for kenma even in his banner pulls. For him, yamaguchi was the epitome of luck in his life. Though yamaguchi doesn’t notice it, kenma has this ritual in which he asks for exactly four kisses before pulling or even attempting spiral abyss.

“Im serious kenma i just want to have 36 stars here please” yamaguchi insisted not believing about him being kenma’s lucky charm

“I'm serious too, it always works for me. Can you come closer?” Kenma said, reaching for yamaguchi’s cheeks.

“Huh? What for-” before yamaguchi could even finish his sentence, kenma gave him a peck on his cheeks.

“There your lucky charm” it might not be noticeable, but kenma has longed for this moment ever since he saw a tiktok about a couple giving each other goodluck kisses.

He was smiling so wide as he accomplished one of his goals in life but it soon turned into a gasp and this time, it was his eyes that went wild.

“If you’re going to give me a goodluck kiss, do it properly”

Yamaguchi just left a soft kiss to kenma’s lips which made not only kenma but the both of them blush crazily. This tension lasted for a couple of seconds and ended after kenma went on for a second one hopping on top of yamaguchi.

“Because i'm afraid you’ll not finish floor 12”

“And why is that? I'm not that weak”

Kenma began to leave trails of his kiss throughout yamaguchi’s face, every time it lands, yamaguchi just melts and subconsciously just smiles so warm as ever. As kenma reached the last destination of his lips, he cupped both of the other’s cheeks and he connected their eyes.

“In the game, yes, but to me? You always succumb to my kiss, am I right?” yamaguchi snickered, nodding his head, giving up the genshin impact on his hands and went for a hug.

“So how about if you finish all the floors, i'll let you kiss me all you want you kiss addict? ” kenma suggested fixing yamaguchi’s hair ruffled from the pillow.

“Its all your fault, I think you are a catalyst user” yamaguchi said as he press his head on kenma’s chest who was still on top of him.

”What?” kenma confusedly asked

“You put me under a spell, because if not then what’s this? Why am I crazy for you and your kiss?” yamaguchi blurted out, seeking for kenma’s eyes.

“I did not, it's because I'm kenma and you are yamaguchi. That’s enough explanation”

Both of them shared the warmth not only through their eyes but they could feel it. Yamaguchi did not ask further questions, he knew what kenma meant—fate.

The facial acting of these two is soooo good. Their "let's work together to catch Kira" handshakes, except one is Light with his memories of being Kira (on the left) and the other is him without (on the right).

There's a silent declaration of war going on between the two on the left. L is grinning. Light's smile doesn't reach his eyes. An unspoken "I know you know that I know" passes between the two of them.

On the left, that undertone of animosity is gone. Light's expression is genuine, and L can clearly tell. L is searching Light's eyes for Kira. He's not smug anymore because he can't find him.

It's the exact same scene shot-for-shot and yet it's totally different in almost every other way.

When the anime pushes the jealousy trope a little too far into the yandere zone and you get a massive ick

This bitch was about to push Yamaken off the second floor of a building for a hypothetical question like???

I understand he has poor social skills and stuff cause of his childhood and Yamaken picked on (?) him when they were little for being really smart but seriously?? Like objectively it's pretty easy to get where Haru is coming from and it's easy to like him and understand why he's not a fan of Yamaken having a crush on Shizuku but this whole thing just made me like Haru wayyy less

It also feeds into the incredibly annoying trope I find all the time where there's two male leads the first being mister tall dark and handsome who kinds borders on controlling or abusive depending on the situation and the second being blonde relatable guy with an unrequited crush and no chance from the start

Ik Haru and Yamaken don't exactly fit the trope to a tee but still it's still very similar.

Plus I kinda do like Yamaken's relationship with Shizuku a little more. Their vibe is more fun to me, the way it always seems to be with the blond ML and FL

A bit of a side tangent to the Vampire Yukierre, how many of the Super Formula racers know of the Yurem's undead status?

Definitely the teammates for Kazuto, Toshiki, JuJu, Nyck and Liam figured them out as vampires. Sometimes they visit them in bird form trying to help them relax during the post race.

Sakaguchi sometimes screams into Crow Toshiki's chest, Sparrow Juju relaxes with Otsu as both of them share tea, Kamui just pets Wood Pigeon Nyck, Cockatoo Liam just is a menace to Nojiri, and sometimes Sparrowhawk Kazuto eats his birds right outside of Yamaken's trailer.

When the vampires choose someone to know of their secret and bond to, it has to be a very strong bond full of loyalty and love, that's why it's mainly limited to teammates, past and present (whatever Pierre and Yuki got going on is an exception)
