Nymphe had been traveling for a couple of years as she gathered her small group of misfits. They were from all over Simerica, and gradually, somehow they had found each other. She would be eternally grateful, because in just a short time she had grown to care about each and every one of them, and despite some of their shortcomings, they were valuable members of their little society.
But they knew that eventually they would have to settle down. They had originally thought about finding a place away from any signs of society - out in the countryside, where there was less likely to be Lawless about, and less chance of radiation or the remnants of biological weapons.
When they saw Evergreen Harbor, though, they knew that it was the place. It was the perfect place to start anew - it had so much trash they could repurpose for their own needs, as well as houses to raid. The more law-conscious of them raided the garbage piles, while those who were less... squeamish about stealing from dead people broke in to steal a few necessary items they could easily carry out.
Once they had scavenged enough items, they cleaned out an empty lot so they could have somewhere to stay, at least temporarily. They didn't have a lot to their names, but they were able to put together a small homeless encampment with beds made from stolen mattresses and store pallets.
"I don't see why we didn't just steal the frames, mattresses, and sheets," Gabriel commented once they had gotten everything set up.
Nymphe was beginning to grow frustrated - she loved her community members, but sometimes it was like they had rocks for brains and couldn't really absorb information that was told to them. "Do you want to drag a bed frame all the way here? I know I don't. And Goldie said all the beds were already stripped ages ago. What sheets were they supposed to take, Gabe?"
"I don't know, check the linen closets maybe?!" He was beginning to get frustrated, but they were all exhausted and frustrated so no one really held it against him.
"We did," Goldie piped up, glancing over from her conversation with Eugenia. "Picked bare. No clothes in drawers, no towels, no bed sheets, no throw blankets, nothing. We have to make due with what we found."
And that's exactly what they were going to have to do.

'Dublin-native Andrew Scott is making headlines at the moment after starring in All of Us Strangers with Paul Mescal.
The film, which is inspired by the 1987 novel Strangers by Japanese author Taichi Yamada, explores the queer relationship between Andrew Scottâs character Adam and Paul Mescalâs character Harry.
As Adam and Harryâs relationship intensifies, the former visits his childhood home in Croydon and comes out to his parents, played by Claire Foy and Jamie Belle â the twist is his parents died 30 years earlier.
Speaking exclusively to PinkNews on the red carpet at a UK screening of All of Us Strangers ahead of its release on Friday (26 January), Andrew Scott reflected on the importance of seeing queer sex represented.
As thereâs an appetite for all things Andrew Scott at the moment (and rightfully so), we thought it would be a good time to take a look at his LGBTQ+ story so far.
When did Andrew Scott come out?
Scott first commented on his sexuality in 2013 in an interview with The Independent while promoting a BBC Two drama titled Legacy.
âMercifully, these days people donât see being gay as a character flaw. But nor is it a virtue, like kindness. Or a talent, like playing the banjo. Itâs just a fact. Of course, itâs part of my make-up, but I donât want to trade on it,â he said.
He recently told GQ that he was âencouraged by people in the industryâ to keep his sexuality a secret.
âI understand why they gave that advice but Iâm also glad that I eventually ignored it,â Scott said.
Scott started out on stage
Scott was a stage actor in Dublin before moving on to the world of film and TV, making his debut in the Irish drama Korea, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
He had small roles in Saving Private Ryan, Nora, and Dead Bodies, plus a number of other movies.
Scott became a âgay iconâ after appearing as James Moriarty in BBCâs Sherlock, sparking countless memes and fanfiction about the potential queer relationship between his character and the titular character played Benedict Cumberbatch.
In 2014, Scott appeared in Pride, a movie honouring the LGBTQ+ activists that raised money to help families affected by the 1984 minerâs strike.
More recently, many will recognise Scott from appearing as the âHot Priestâ in Fleabag as well as playing Colonel John Parry in His Dark Materials, a BBC adaptation of the popular Phillip Pullman book series.
Scott relied on his own pain when filming All of Us Strangers
Homosexuality was illegal in Ireland until Scott turned 16 and he had to grapple with his sexuality and the fear he had in coming out. Scottâs complicated feelings about being gay was something he brought to set every day when filming All of Us Strangers.
He told GQ that he would walk around director Andrew Haighâs childhood home, the set for Adamâs parents home in the film, and look at all the magazines that he himself had grown up with. Haigh told GQ that he could see Scott revisiting his past: âItâs so interesting watching someone react to something because you can see on their face theyâve been dragged back. Itâs like time travel.â
Scott added: âI think thatâs maybe why this feels so gratifying and cathartic. Because I did have to bring so much of my own pain into it.â
Scott and Mescal previously told Pink News that an uptick in the number of queer sex scenes in film and TV, including in All of Us Strangers, is âwonderfulâ.
Scott said: âWhatâs going to help bring the world forward is just to have representation in that sense. I always say [that] as a queer person, seeing straight relationships constantly and almost exclusively, it hasnât made me disgusted to look at them. I just go, âthere you goâ.â
Though Mescal is straight, the two actors have great chemistry according to Haigh.
âIt was clear to me that [Scott and Mescal] liked each other liked each other a lot as actors, as people. The characters are falling in love, so the actors know how to generate chemistry.â
âThey clearly have amazing chemistry, and theyâre really good friends now, and they care and love for each other. So, something magical happened. Iâm very grateful for that,â Haigh told Sky News.
What will Scott be seen in next?
Scott will soon be starring in new Netflix thriller Ripley, an eight-part series based on Patricia Highsmithâs best-selling Tom Ripley novels.
The story follows a con artist who is hired by a wealthy man to get the manâs son to return home from Italy, when everything goes wrong and descends into fraud and murder.
Scott plays the titular character Tom Ripley, alongside Johnny Flynn and Dakota Fanning. The series premieres on Netflix on April 4, 2024.
He is also expected to appear in an upcoming action comedy film with Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz titled Back in Action. There is no release date for the film at the time of writing.
Andrew Scott husband?
Many people (probably people who are quite hopeful that Andrew Scott is still on the market) have been Googling whether the Fleabag star has a husband or partner.
While Andrew Scott keeps his personal life very private, according to Hello Magazineâ itâs thought that he is currently single after splitting from his long-term partner, writer Stephen Beresford, in 2019.
Heâs previously appeared on the How to Fail podcast speaking about relationships in January 2020, and said: âYou learn from people. Itâs not about the length of time you spend with somebody. My life is different now. I feel like my attitude towards relationships and my attitude towards myself and sexuality and all that stuff has changed, and that came about from having the courage to be on my own for a bit, quite a scary thing to do.'

my guide to lesbian anime both canonic and subtextual
(wonât include every lesbian anime ever, this is a personal list)
the canonic-gay section:
revolutionary girl utena
nothing before or since has ever done it like this. trigger warnings for everything imaginable. loads of homosexuals in this one. gender commentary, fairytale allusions, a lot of kids who are having a hard time growing up and moving beyond their pasts. sword lesbians.
flip flappers
the problematic favourite, in that thereâs at least one uncomfortable sexualised shot each episode (roughly speaking; some have none and one has even more, unfortunately), so be warned. but at its heart flipflap is about repressed cocona going on adventures with outgoing and expressive papika, and their exploration of various fantastical lands/inner worlds of people they meet. hugely inventive and pretty, and a core thread is cocona discovering sheâs gay.
aoi hana (âsweet blue flowersâ)
the comfort lesbian show, with not a romantic relationship at its heart, but a friendship between two childhood friends who meet again, both of whom are gay (though only one realises this during the showâs run, as itâs based on a manga). one of them dates an upperclassman at her school, and thereâs various gay and bi side characters. itâs just very wholesome, lovingly animated, sweet and sometimes painful stuff.
bloom into you
I controversially do not care that much for bloom into you, but as the best, high-production, non-skeevy yuri show in years - that is based on a manga by a woman - itâs worth mentioning. late-bloomer girl dreams of romance, though has never felt it, and finds affinity with a girl who similarly is disinclined to date. that is, until said girl says she fancies her. genuinely moving exploration of developing gay identity at times, only downside is my personal disinterest in the black haired girl. some weird âheightenedâ moments that feel inauthentic and titillating do arise, but itâs very few - to the point where some would disagree with me on my reading of it, Iâd imagine.
sailor moon
the bits which the lesbians are in, etc. itâs a classic. I havenât watched all of it myself because I donât care much nor do I have nostalgia for sailor moon, but itâs one of the most notable examples of a butch/masc lesbian in anime, so thatâs nice.
o maidens in your savage season
nerdy teenage girls who are part of a literature club make it their quest to discover sex and dating, in various ways (unfortunately, not all of them dealt with well⊠teacher/student foolery that is fortunately abandoned before it gets worse but is nonetheless handled with mixed results, imo). mostly though itâs hilarious, sweet, silly, and thereâs a gay girl in it, but I wonât spoil which one. adults predating on children is also handled much, much better in another of the showâs storylines, and I do appreciate it for trying to tackle that difficult subject matter.
oniisama e (âdear brotherâ)
an oldie, based off a shoujo manga by one of the greatest (riyoko ikeda). thereâs a central relationship to root for (better articulated in the manga), but itâs mostly just what if we were messy depressed lesbians at an all-girls school and we were also melodramatic and mean as hell.
revue starlight
what if we were at an all-girls dramatic arts school and engaged in utena-like duels to become the top performer? main implicitly gay couple with canonic side gay couples. itâs quite cute. also worth watching if you like takarazuka in any way (prestigious all-female japanese theatre troupe), because the main conceit of the school is very much based on that idea.
the gay-themes section:
sound! euphonium (season one)
in which director naoko yamadaâs awesome legacy of writing lesbians and then saying âwhoâs to say though, ha haâ continued (she did it already with a side character in tamako market). this one is known as the gaybait to end all gaybait, but hear me out: the first, and best, season, is not only a fantastic self-contained story with many great characters and plot points, but itâs main character is undoubtedly lesbian-coded and even has a love interest you can argue about. frankly I think sheâs gay-coded throughout the whole show (even when she dates a guy for two minutes), but this feels very âI wanted to focus on this compelling relationship between two female characters but the adaptationâs success meant we had to revert back to the source material in later seasonsâ. what we got from this is perhaps my favourite lesbian anime of all-time, following utena.
a place further than the universe
this show is about four girls who join an expedition to antarctica, and what if I told you theyâre all great, believable dorky teenage characters, and they exist in a well-written and thematically satisfying show⊠and thereâs nice lesbian implication between one of our adult female protagonists and her old (deceased; not a spoiler) friend who was the main teen girlâs mother. thereâs some sad here, obviously.
puella magi madoka magica
the well-known, much beloved deconstruction of the magical girl genre is also pretty gay, as it happens (so gay in fact it started a trend of gay-coded pink+black magical girls). itâs not a particular favourite of mine, but itâs visually one of the most notable anime productions ever, so itâs well worth seeing just for that.
NANA
the 2000s manga+show about the two twenty-year-olds who meet on a train and discover theyâre both called nana is also pretty gay! to the point where there are heated fandom debates about nana komatsuâs (pink one) possibly being a lesbian. they both have many relationships with guys, but itâs their bond that forms the heart of the show, and the bisexuality (or, who knows, homosexuality) of the leads is pretty undeniable. to the point where youâll get blasted on the nana subreddit if you try and suggest otherwise.
the wild-card section:
keep your hands off eizouken!
this is a show about three oddball girls who start a club to create anime, but have to pose as the film club instead for various reasons. itâs not even subtextually gay, I just personally think that all three of the leads are gay and the whole thing feels like a very female-centred creative endeavour. hugely fun watch, and very high production values. you wouldnât regret seeing it.
skip & loafer
these two you see here are side characters. this show is actually about mitsumi, the greatest female protagonist of this kind of shoujo-esque slice of life show, who moves from the countryside to tokyo for high school. here she meets many a misfit, including the pretty blonde and the nerd girl who have undeniable chemistry and form one of the most popular pairings in the show. itâs just a good time.
chihayafuru
Iâd get in trouble for this, because the primary romance factor in the show is a famed heterosexual love triangle with chihaya at its centre and her two male childhood friends at the side. but go with me on this. chihaya is oblivious to romance and feminine socialisation, she is obsessed with a card game and with her equally dorky dark-haired rival⊠sheâs animeâs greatest autistic lesbian lead. and you get more than what you pay for, because the two boys I mentioned? a lot of gay stuff going on there too.
the big-screen-cinematic section:
the adolescence of utena
revolutionary girl returns in the sequel of a lifetime, slightly older (sixteen, say) and gayer than ever, to escape this place with the love of her life. cue the impromptu dance sequence (with stars and rose petals)!
liz and the blue bird
the naoko yamada directed gay cinematic universe continues with a gorgeous film starring two of the side characters from sound! euphoniumâs second season (not necessary to watch beforehand). that means it has plausible deniability whilst being so crazily gay itâs almost some kind of joke. this is a highly detailed, laser-focused character study of two girls in their high school band club and their ever more strained relationship. yamada never misses.
the summer
this is korean! itâs about two girls who meet at school and start dating in secret, what happens as they grow up and move to seoul, and how their relationship changes and strains when met with the conservatism of contemporary korean society. it was sweet and like aoi hana above for japanese girls, felt pretty frank to the experiences Iâd imagine young korean lesbians might have.
puella magi madoka magica: rebellion
if youâre a fan of the show, you probably donât talk about this movie. sure, itâs a visual feat, sure, itâs insanely entertaining, but itâs also frustrating and upsetting and potentially undermines the neatness of the original as a perfectly-crafted story. BUT. kyouko/sayaka becomes all but canon in it, and everything else aside, thatâs all that really matters. but you should definitely watch the show beforehand.
#idk who I expect to interact with this but if thereâs anyone on here who is interested lol#moth.txt#anime ranking#lesbian#yuri#anime recommendations

Osoro Shidesu
Name: Osoro Shidesu
Gender: Female
Class: 2-2
Club: Delinquent
Persona: Lovestruck (Violent)
Reputation:
Overall: -66
Liked: -100
Respected: -100
Feared: +100
Crush: Taro Yamada
Strength: Invincible
__
Osoro has always been, in a way, a bad influence on the delinquents. Not intentionally, though. In Genka's tape, she says that Osoro demonstrated that violence was the answer to her problems, but I'm pretty sure that not much else could have been done in that situation. Lord knows the headmaster wouldn't have done much if Osoro got her ass beat outside of the school.
During the incident, she defended herself, which is technically what you're supposed to do when you're being attacked. Although the way does vary. Osoro used violence as a means to defend herself because she didn't want an incident like this to happen again. Hopefully, by proving that she was stronger than this group of students, would prevent them from coming with whatever people they can gather and harming not just her, but the other students.
Despite her fair reason, Osoro did end up making a... unique mark on the school. Some students were scared of her, some students disapproved of her violent choices, but others, like the delinquents, looked up to her, and some students even went to her in hopes of protection in certain situations. Due to this, her being suspended did leave an awkward mark on Akademi for a time.
Umeji and the other delinquents obviously look up to Osoro, and I don't think his feelings vary much different from his comrades outside of being more loyal. If Umeji had to pick someone to enter a relationship with, I think he'd be more compatible with someone weaker. Umeji strives to be like Osoro because she's protective and won't allow any harm to come to herself or others. He wants to have someone to protect, too.
The whole reason the delinquents follow Osoro is because she had an answer to their problems. It wasn't the best, but it was all they were offered. The guidance counselor had failed them, the staff failed them, their peers failed them, and the headmaster always seemed ready to drop them. Even when they first began following her around, she didn't turn their back to them. She allowed them to follow her and conversed with them as much as she pleased. Even if it wasn't much, it was something to them, way more than they'd gotten from the school or their family. Even if Osoro wouldn't will it, it makes sense for them to be so defensive after her suspension. They have to keep her legacy alive somehow, right? So they did it the only way they knew how- violence.
Taro in this week is getting continuously exhausted of the events that have transpired around him. And somehow, that leads to him being comforted by the leader of a delinquent gang. Well, not intentionally comforted, but it leaves him with someone to talk to, someone who doesn't seem to judge him for the past incidents. I'd have to be doing a lot of work to make Osoro having feelings for Taro valid and vice versa. Considering we didn't get any legitimate information during the rival introduction video, I'll have to come up with some ideas myself. Of course, I could also go with so cheap childhood friend schmuck, and I'm sure it would be a pretty fun idea, but I might be able to come up with something more clever along the line. It's not like Osoro's going to fall in love with the Taro from week one. Too much has happened for him to be the same as then, so maybe she'll be shocked by a Taro we don't often see? We'll see.
Genka didn't want to suspend Osoro for such a small reason, but she really, truly needed the time to reform the delinquents. Now that she's back, Genka has to hope that this doesn't negatively affect whatever progress she's got with the delinquents. Osoro is by no means a bad person, she's just a terrible teacher. She does things by her own rules and doesn't rake responsibility for the influence she has on others until someone is in danger. That and her overconfidence is her only problem. I think that her incident causing her to be both feared and admired is something that could really lead her to believe that she's damn near unstoppable. Which could be a good chance for Ayano to strike.

"H Era Revolution" - Ichiro Yamada, Hypnosis Microphone English Lyrics Translation
You keep turning a blind eye This is a game for the vets Now you can bow out, so when the uprising comes, feel free to step aside Get out the way The brakes donât work Itâs time to snap out of your complacency Donât get it twisted; a war of words? Nah, this is an unforgettable battle told by our way of life âRespect is deadâ Crush this half-assed status quo Hurry up and get out of the lukewarm water Thereâs still a long way to go for a new, promising era RAP can change the future We will always be the heroes of our LIFE Ainât no stopping our rhymes A winning legacy for HIPHOP The energy of our words BLUES ainât good for nothinâ Goddess of fear Like a hornetâs sting, our weaponâs our pen No matter how many times you fall, you better get up Do it again
We are the revolutionaries, experts at spittinâ rhymes The time has come, We back to basic Our pen is mightier than the sword Wielding words like spears and shields, donât forget that We are the revolutionaries, experts at spittinâ rhymes The time has come, We back to basic Fighting against this absurd reality If we donât step up, who will?
If we donât act soon Itâs gone for good Slaying fake rappers like demons Iâve got no interest in picking on the weak Donât wait up, Iâm working on that lip service at all costs Stickinâ to my beliefs like a delinquent in a manga Weâre fightinâ this for real Iâm the keyman I ainât ever backing down We all bleed the same red Our PRIDE grows stronger with every rhyme we write Singing in the streets, reppinâ our familyâs bonds Weâll fight till we win, and try again and again Iâll never get tired of this, Iâve got double the resolve Weâll RAP till weâve got our answer âBreak the wallâ The vision I shared with my friends The story of HIPHOPPIA will go on I still love the power of RAP This NEW AGE is nameless for now

Since I discoursed about some very specific stuff in Frieren my general stance so far is that it really does have excellent work in the tone department. Its "time" theme commitment is strong, the core crew has fun chemistry, and Frieren herself is a good balance in her interpersonal dynamics of being both wise and silly. And it imbibes its individual elements with a lot of heart - the Church of their world seems like a real organization aesthetically; the legacy of the heroes really does flow everywhere; the mages and elves and such we see have old roots in deep magic systems. All these things have "set piece tonal moments" that have a ton of care put into them. And of course the art really is beautiful; particularly the background work is top 10 best I've ever seen in a TV anime of this type.
But all of that tone and care is put into pretty shallow plots and flat world building. The tone of the church & the dukes and such is there, but their social roles are barely specc'd out, it doesn't congeal into a real society at all. Frieren's story is she wants to - this is unclear right now, which is fine its plot - do something like apologize to Himmel's ghost for never being clear about her feelings and telling him how much he meant to her. Which, you know, is something she can only do at the end. And Fern is gonna...tag along? And Stark is here too? They all get these little mini arcs but its repetitive and doesn't progress much. Their personal journey would make a decent 13 episode show, and the After-The-End world setting could make a good 26 episode fantasy political drama. But its kind of doing both without committing to doing either well. It fills this gap with tug-at-heart-strings sentimentality stuff, which is fine the first few times because the thematic heft of the stuff it has done well, with time and wide scale social change, is there to support it. But only the first few times, its not putting in the work needed to set up new, truly interesting stakes.
It does have great art, great character designs, Frieren is charming and also she is like Elf Ruri from Nadesico, who doesn't want that, etc, so its fun to watch. But it has very strong wasted potential vibes.
All I am saying is I could definitely write it better, my zero years of fiction writing is no problem I would totally fix this up stand aside Kanehito Yamada-

Happy Pride Month!
Happy Pride Month! Be safe and have fun celebrating! You matter and who you love and who/what you identify matters too, you are completely and wholeheartedly valid. â€ïžđ§Ąđđđđđ
In celebration, I decided to redo the romantic and sexual orientation of CodeX! I had to do quite bit of soul searching and research but I finally feel like this is the most accurate results I could come up with. Enjoy!
â Ritsuko
Aromantic Asexual (Sex-Repulsed)
Again, not much to say, things have not changed for Ritsuko regarding romantic and sexual orientation, she still doesnât have an interest in romantic relationships (even finds them time consuming and boring) and has not changed her mind about sex aside from finding it completely useless outside of reproduction purposes, she is completely fine with her orientation and will confirm to be so.
However, during her younger years, she was a bit more open with herself and was willing to try it out just to see how it feels and to actually say that she does indeed have the experience. She had only slept with one person though, an odd fellow with pink hair and the most vibrant red eyes, she didnât knew his name at the time but there was something about him that made the thought of sleeping with him not completely revolting. The one night would go on to change her life significantly and was the catalyst of what would become her three most treasured projects.
â Miho
Biromantic Demisexual
There has not been a significant change to Mihoâs orientation aside from the fact that she leans even more towards men when thinking about a potential partner whether that be for a relationship or sex, however, thatâs not to say that she doesnât appreciate women and what they can provide in a relationship, but if she had to choose, sheâd go with a man.
However, in her teenage years, Miho used to experiment with her sexuality, mainly as a form of rebellion against her parents. She even had a secret girlfriend for a while before her parents found out and forced her to break it off. Nowadays, Miho doesnât think about sex all that much, sheâs much too busy growing her ever rising business empire and ensuring her familyâs legacy, sheâd need to know the person for a long time and knows for absolute sure that she can trust them with her intimate side.
â Sumire
Panromantic Asexual (Sex-Positive)
In the past, despite having a clue on what she felt comfortable with, Sumire still had her doubts but now sheâs completely sure that a personâs gender doesnât matter to her in terms of pursuing a relationship as long as a genuine connection can be formed and she absolutely knows that she loves them and that they love her for her. Thatâs the main thing, if someone can look past âThe Anarchistâ and see and love âSumire Shinomiyaâ then youâve completely got her hooked.
Sumire did not think much of sex before and even know itâs still not a huge priority to her but recently sheâs gotten more comfortable and receptive to the idea, sheâs gained a more positive view on sex and is more than open to try it if her partner was interested. Though sheâs still getting used to touch and intimacy so sheâd like it if they would talk it through first and go at her pace.
Of course, the only person sheâd want to do all the aforementioned stuff with is Jiro Yamada of Ikebukuro. Sumire is completely in love and devoted to him and strives to be a better girlfriend with each day so the thought of being with anyone else just does not compute with her, if not outright disgusts her completely.

Random ask, if you sort your top fav characters from BNHA & JJK to Hogwarts houses, which houses will they be (in your opinion)? Why?
I spent an embarrassing amount of time looking for the artist I bought my "Dobby is a Free Elf, F*** TERFS" sticker from (still couldn't find them đ). Before I jump in, just taking the time to remind readers that we can maintain a connection to media we grew up with but refrain from putting more money in the hands of a creator who actively preaches against and promotes messages that impede upon the freedoms and lives of our trans frans. đŽââ ïžâĄïž
I'll use the lineups from these last asks (because I flip flop, I just love so many of them, okay??).
MHA
Katsuki Bakugo - Slytherin. Slytherin like Draco Malfoy in the sense that he's outwardly and overly confident. But his predisposition for "darkness" scares and frustrates him because he just wants the same recognition of being a good wizard that Izuku gets.
Izuku Midoriya - Gryffindor with Ravenclaw underpinnings. Gryffindor is the one house where anyone can belong if you're only brave enough to ask and he'd totally make a scene muttering to himself under the sorting hat.
Shouta Aizawa - Ooof. This is hard because he has the outward disposition of Snape as a teacher but Aizawa is so soft at heart and incredibly logical. Of the Three Dumbigos, he would be in Ravenclaw. Bonus: Oboro would have been in Gryffindor and Yamada would have been in Hufflepuff.
Shoto Todoroki - Legacy Slytherin but sorted into Gryffindor much to Endeavor's chagrin (and likely to spite him).
Eijirou Kirishima - this is a hufflepuff. âš
JJK
Nobara Kugisaki - This one was legitimately a head scratcher. She has her Hufflepuff moments from being so in sync with Yuji but I think Nobara's more Ravenclaw or Gryffindor leaning. Especially with that ego. Actually, yea, let's be for real, Nobara would want to be in the place where she can kick the most ass and not from an academic perspective. Gryffindor with Ravenclaw underpinnings though I'm open to hearing other people's takes on her situation.
Yuji Itadori - If he'd had any insight into the houses, any idea that there were such a thing as Gryffindor whose bravery was renowned, he probably would have had the sense of mind to end up there. But buddy boy was just so happy to be included having zero connection to the wizarding world that he rejoiced at his sorting in Hufflepuff. He's well received in their ranks and, of course, is not a stranger to students in other houses. I'm not saying the Sorting Hat didn't see obvious potential, though. If only he'd persisted to ask.
Megumi Fushiguro - Unbeknownst to him, the Zenin's are a legacy Slytherin family. He'd always heard the way Gojo had spoken about Slytherins and was annoyed at the possibility of ending up there (more than how much Gojo annoyed him) so, instead, the Sorting Hat saw fit to put him into Gryffindor after his imperceptible begging.
Kento Nanami - This man is a bored Ravenclaw. He gets through school, aces his OWLs and NEWTs and then becomes something boring in the muggle world because, while magic makes things convenient, the shenanigans and idiocy of his peers and upperclassmen encouraged the pursuit of a life of solitude to recover from the hijinks he suffered while in high school. He'd come back for the Battle of Hogwarts, though. That's a call he wouldn't be able to ignore.
Satoru Gojo - He thought himself smart enough to be in Ravenclaw đ but was ultimately damned by his legacy Slytherin family lineage. Dismayed by the Sorting Hat's deliberation, he felt there was more glory to be had in Gryffindor and changed the tide of the Gojo family with this subsequent desire. He had the time of his life. Never told Megumi about how long the Sorting Hat deliberated though... likely forgot, in fact, because once he belonged in Gryffindor, nothing else felt right. Bonus: Shoko was in Gryffindor as the actual Ravenclaw of the trio. Geto was in Gryffindor with Hufflepuff underpinnings. The hubris he developed by this association would still be his undoing and leave him vulnerable to manipulation.

Our sixth and final misfit is Zayn Yamada.
Born in 2030, he is the son of Japanese-American parents who wanted him to grow up to be whatever he wanted to be. Unfortunately, he was born at the beginning of the war, and so they weren't able to give him the education or really anything they had wanted to give their family, except for love. His parents loved him deeply, and were willing to do anything for their son. Instead of sending him away like Celestin's parents did, they evacuated to the countryside along with him, where they were moderately safe... until the biological weapons were unleashed. Unfortunately, they were tested where "no one" lived, with very little regard to the safety of any rural towns or wild animals. Zayn woke up one morning as one of only 9 living residents living in the small town, and no one knew why they were immune. It wasn't just the children - all the survivors were of varying ages. Elderly sims, children, teenagers, you name it. After cremating the hundreds of dead that were left after the biological weapon swept through, the 9 living members left became a makeshift family, raising the teens and children. Zayn had always been a social bug, and he knew he couldn't stay in his little town family forever - and the first chance he got, he travelled to the city to see what was left of the world.
Zayn has always had an eye for women, even as a boy. Frankly, his parents worried that he was going to chase after all the girls in the town even back when he was a little. And he was good at wooing them - compliments, dandelions, sweet smiles, holding hands, anything that got a little girl's stomach full of butterflies. That isn't something that has changed, he still wants to woo pretty much any woman he meets, but he has gained self control. Now, he wouldn't even mind settling down if he finds the right girl.
The way to his heart is through his stomach - specifically, sweets. He hides this aspect of himself because he thinks it's not exactly something that's "cool" or something someone trying to survive in the apocalypse should even bother about, but he can't help himself. He'd love it if he could eat sweets every day.
One of the things that Zayn is the most interested in is recycling - after the war and everything, the world has gained the look and air quality of the inside of a dumpster. Some of the air is still toxic, remnants of the old world are littered everywhere, and things are overall horrendous. Having grown up in a relatively clean town, far from the pollution of the big city, he is determined to bring that back into the world in more places than just his home.
Because he is so conscious of recycling and reusing things, he has become the community's main builder, handyman, and "decorator." He finds things out in the world to help build up their little home, and gets to clean up the world while he does it.

for ships I imagine would get married I love to think about who would take who's last name.
for bkdk the popular option seems to be midoriya-bakugou, compromising with both of them being competitive, or izuku taking the bakugou last name, but my favorite option is actually katsuki taking the midoriya last name. I know the guy would just feel secretly so happy everytime someone calls him midoriya san or smth. I also have a scenario in mind where someone who doesn't know katsuki or izuku looks at Katsuki's last name written in kanji, looks at katsuki, is just like where the Fuck is the Green, and izuku comes in like high babe! and they're just like oh there's the green.
Erasermic isn't too controversial as far as I'm aware, they either keep different last names or use yamada-aizawa and that sounds good to me.
I think any ship that includes shouto would have him change his last name so he doesn't continue the Todoroki legacy or have his kids be bothered by people because of their imfamous family name. so like Shouto Midoriya, Shouto Bakugou, Shouto Shinsou, Shouto Yaoyorozu (this one sounds way too good for a ship I don't ship) etc etc
for hitoshi I think it would depend on who he's marrying and what's their dynamic like but ultimately I think he'd like having his spouse's last name. in shinbaku's case he could want katsuki to take his last name of only to annoy him, only to be surprised when Katsuki says he'll do it. (hitoshi bakugou and Katsuki shinsou both sound good to me lmao). mainly this post idea came to me from thinking about shinchako (rarepair of my heart) and Hitoshi being just so fucking happy when someone calls him Uraraka-san. He's just do a big ol' smile without thinking he's be so whipped.
Tenya would very much want to keep his last name. most charas he's shipped with would agree, leading to Izuku Iida and Shouto Iida and Ochako Iida and Hitoshi Iida etc but. Katsuki's a little shit. again I think he'd secretly enjoy having his spouse's last name and I don't think he holds his last name that close to him. Katsuki's the part that means victory, it's all he needs. but he loves to annoy Iida and he IS competitive as shit. Eventually they'd probably settle on Iida-Bakugou.
now for the case of Erasermight. I think it would just come to what Toshinori wants. Toshi's real name isn't known so it wouldn't be a problem for Shouta, and the opposite is true. I don't think Shouta would really care about what last name he ends up with, it's not really the important part of marriage. He'd also probably think that putting the two last names together would be irrational and also annoying as shit. so let's go with what sounds the better, either Shouta Yagi or Toshinori Aizawa, you choose :)
if you wanna add more stuff in reblogs/replies or in asks go ahead, I love to hear about people's headcanons!
also unfortunaly I am a lazy mf and have not learned japanese. I assume there's probably stuff related to last names and marriage and stuff with kanji and katakana and hiragana and all, so if you have something to say about that pls tell as well!!

A Legacy Made
Use the related link post to read A Legacy Made on AO3 at https://archiveofourown.org/works/59756770 by TheMesosphere The world was being rebuilt after the Final War with Shigaraki and All For One. Izuku had lost OFA, the rest of his class had suffered from the trauma of battle, and everything seemed almost too broken to fix. All that anyone could do was to keep going, to keep looking ahead. But even with society finally gaining its footing, once again, it seemed that there were still people being crushed under the weight of the world's cruelty. A girl with the power of the elements, a family history that made her what she is today, and the rage of everything that brought her to this moment- would any of it be worth it?
