that mead and grog post is making me realize that perhaps interest in historical food and drink is not as widespread as I had previously thought
#smokey talks#ive tried both mead and grog theyre both banger tbh. ive been looking into making mead for years but#im too paranoid about hazards and mold and ruining my batch after waiting for so long to make it#commercial meads r pretty decent for the most part although most of them are backsweetened to really sell you on the honey aspect#we actually have a meadery in the next town over! run by my old teachers. really yummy stuff#yall should get into historical food and drink tho its super interesting. alcohol has always been an interest of mine so
