I have such strong opinions on softener dont use it if you want the extra benefits they provide use white vinager because softeners use something that coats the fibers in a plastickey substance and instead of removing any further oders they cover them up.

White vinager neutralizes most smells (ive never had an issue source: dude trust me) and is acidic therefore removing extra layers of coating on fabrics and helps to further set dyes so your clothes dont fade an- hey where are you going? i didnt even get to the part where dryer sheets are bad!!
