ok but sERIOUSLY, every conservative out here could be actually looking at everything happening as an opportunity to sell hardcore conservatism RN, but they’re literally too STUPID to smell it and it makes me LAUGH.

let’s run through some examples, shall we?

the majority of these protests (and the subsequent violent police pushback) are happening in long-established democratic-run cities and states

what conservatives COULD argue: this is proof that dems don’t know how to run a city and protect their civilians rights, and they’ve been eating up your money only to run the city/state into the ground.

what conservatives HAVE been arguing: we need LAW and ORDER

some open-carry areas (like Seattle) have called in armed civilians for CHAZ, helping establish and keep peace in that Autonomous Zone

what conservatives COULD argue: see, the 2nd amendment protects YOU!!! this is exACTLY the situation that the 2nd amendment is supposed to defend!!

what conservatives HAVE been arguing: this is LaWLeSs AnArChY, there is NO SUCH THING as a good guy with a gun, NOT when they’re on the opposite side of the POLICE!!!!!

there is a large population arguing that we should defund huge SWATHS of the gov’t (usually local gov’t) because taxpayers pay them HUGE BUCKS to do shitty jobs, and on top of that, they have immunity if they do it poorly

what conservatives COULD argue: this is not just true of the police, but EVERY gov’t sector. imagine how much you could save and re-invest in your own businesses and social welfare of the people you care about if you weren’t taxed SO MUCH by the gov’t!!

what conservatives COULD argue: look at Mitt Romney!!! yall made fun of him, but he’s such a goody-two-shoe Mormon that it’s unlikely there will EVER be verifiable sexual assault/harassment claims brought against him, he has OPENLY defied the president when his conscience dictated him too, and LOOK, here he is marching with the Black Lives Matter movement!!
