Borito shares their second single ‘My Kind Of Love’
Welcome to Borito's time machine, music that sends you back to your summer vacation. Music that is all about bringing back innocence, the freedom of loving, living and creating without the obligations and disappointments of adulthood.
Borito had a successful release of their debut single ‘Nice & Slowly’ and now they are sharing their second single, ‘My Kind of Love’ from their upcoming album. The song written by Yael Copeland and produced by Borito, is an indie stadium rock anthem told from a young woman's perspective.
Frequently, in pop culture the woman is portrayed as the one who wants a close and meaningful relationship. She wants to be chosen by the man. Even if at times she is portrayed as easy going and free spirited - in the end she is "just like other girls", longing for commitment and deeper relationship.
In ‘My Kind of Love’ the power is in the narrator's hands; she is honest about her views and is unapologetic. Together with musical themes from the 80's and a fresh contemporary sound – this is a personal anthem first of all for Yael, and hopefully for other women who can relate to it.

Be a ‘Child’ again with Borito’s new single
Welcome to Borito's time machine, music that sends you back your summer vacation. Music that is all about bringing back innocence, the freedom of loving, living and creating without the obligations and disappointments of adulthood.
Today, Borito is releasing its new single 'Child' from their forthcoming album What We Have Now. 'Child' continues with themes of growing up and facing adulthood in our uncertain time. Yael Copeland, singer and guitarist of the group, wrote lyrics about feelings that are familiar to many young adults: the experience and difficulty of becoming a 'grown up' according to society's expectations.
Today our reality is changing dramatically and our future is unknown. Many young people are defining their own way to be an adult and defying old values and norms. Borito's members who grew up in the 90's are owning their "childishness", still seeking for their individual path and enjoying the comfort of not being fully immersed in the 'grown up' world.
This catchy straightforward tune blends with these ideas. Influenced by musical themes from the 90's and a dreamy contemporary sound. The band say, "As always, we see today cultural clashes between young and older generations. We believe that each person should cherish their inner child and remember we we're all searching for our way in life in one time or another. There is so much pressure in being an adult, we forget to have fun sometimes. Hopefully this song will remind you."
