I love that accent talk! I moved out of St Louis when I was only 12 , and have been living in the bay since. But I can guarantee you that whenever I go back nobody my generation (Millenial) has a super thick accent, I think that's reserved for older folks. Like other anons pointed out here, bc of movies and tv and content consumption, younger people tend to lose their strong accents more and more. That said, I find Evan's accent quite Californian lol. He uses words like stoked, like, yadadadamean, totally, dude in the relaxed, SoCal way and his way of talking is more refined than that of a regular Californian dude, but that's probably bc it's interviews. But still, I don't see any Missouri in him, except for some vowels like "o' here and there, like some other anon pointed out so bravo, good ears! Yeah it's safe to say that our boy is pretty Californian, it's in his mannerisms also 😎
