My sister is a dancer so to see the hard work dancers go through, I give props to them because that is some serious strength and endurance they need and have. Because Lexi's going to play the beauty game - and she's in it to win it. My thoughts: Honestly with Lexi getting a full makeover the way she did kinda reminded me of mean girls. LOL. I liked this book. I like how in the end she chose herself rather than Logan. Although, I did think that they clicked nicely, but the whole point of the story is her growing and I really enjoyed that. I love how she also became closer to her sister and her sister confided in her. I’m close with my sister so it was nice to see this. The mom needs serious help tho, just saying. But it’s a nice, quick read. Although, I didn't love this as I've loved Take a Bow or Better off Friends. Those books are sooo good! 🌀 Have you read this? No. Sorry, no. Buuuuut, I also love how Bec and Gia become friends. Like it’s such a great relationship that comes together. It’s such a nice and real relationship that is so beautiful. As I go through the series of the bookmarks I have and hopefully I can buy the coasters soon, I will be showing them off. 🌺 5/5 Stars Oh this trilogy… I first read the first two books back in 2016. But I had not read the 3rd. Back in 2018 I picked it up again and finished the trilogy. You guys… this trilogy was weird for me😕. Like I loved it and when I read it, I couldn't let it go but then I did and to get it again was so difficult. But then… you guys…😭 I wanted to cry when this trilogy ended (tbh, I think I did.) It was so not what I expected and Theron… ahhhh… I still think about this trilogy and I want to re-read it soon but first I want to read my tbr shelf before I do major re-reads like this. This trilogy had so many twists and scenes that made me cry. Whyyyy Sarah??? I am very glad with who Meira ended up with, but he was also kinda dumb. Like ma dude, think a little. 🌺Novellas🌺 What do you think of novellas? I personally love novellas, as long as I am truly enjoying the series. If I have no cares about the book, forget about novellas. It won't happen for me. Lol. Another thing I love is when novellas, well… let's be real, books in general, have a little bit of extra in them such as these! Happily Ever After by Kiera Cass has character illustrations and Untamed by AG Howard has designed titles and colored ink! So needless to say, these are my favorite novellas. Although story-wise, my favorite is The Assassin's Blade. I cannot wait until I own that one. But I have no clue what I am going to do with my bookshelf space as I am running out quick and I have no more room in my room. Can I also mention how low but high key proud I am of this picture? I hate doing flat lays but I keep pushing myself to do them so I can get better, and while I am not necessarily better, this picture I am definitely proud of. I am also loving my tad bit simpler look. Like before I felt like I needed the confetti I used, and this month I loved that I went without it. 🌺Books and Flowers🌺 Lately I have been more appreciative of flowers. They have always been beautiful, but I just never loved them as I do now. Honestly, I am a sucker for romance. *My full review is on GoodReads* I have read PS I like you 2 times now and I will say that the first time I read this book, I felt soo cheated. After re-reading P.S. I Like You, I did end up loving the book sooo much more the 2nd time around. The story is cute, I do love the plot and the way Kasie goes about it, P.S I like you, gives you a look into friendships and how even if you get into an argument with your best friend and have resentment towards them, you can overcome it and continue with your strong friendship. I can relate to the crazy family so that was fun. 🔸Book Review🔸 On the Fence | @kasiewest Published: @harpercollins | Pages: 293 | Rating: 5/5 #QOTD: Classic or Modern or Both or Mixed? Charlotte/Charlie is growing up without a mom, three brothers, Gage’s (one of her brothers) best friend Braden, and her dad, who is a cop. She is very active, huge into sports and always around her family. Charlie has a close relationship with them and an even closer relationship with her brother Gage. Charlie is a huge tomboy which she is fine with until she goes into the world of ‘glam.’ Then she meets Evan and does not want to come off as ‘one of the boys’; her brothers and Braden are very protective of her. Most nights Charlie has nightmares so she throws herself into staying active so she gets exhausted and does not have to deal with these nightmares. This is what begins the chats by the fence with Braden. As the book continues, we see Charlie struggling through the decision she is having to make and it’s not only in the case of boys but in the case of what she has portrayed at her job. I know, I haven’t really said a lot outside of the description but that is just the thing, the description is just a really well put description of On the Fence.
