3. Least favorite canon thing about this character? His whitewashing and loop lips lol. I'm pretty endeared to his personality even when he’s being super annoying, so things I don't like aren't about Usopp himself, but how his character has been treated in the story. Mostly I haaaate that he’s constantly being put in close-combat situations so he can’t show off his sniping. Also I don’t like how so many of his attacks were forgotten, especially post-ts. His gadgets and all those weapons he used against Luffy in Water 7, I miss them! His fighting skills are so under-utilized.

5. What's the first song that comes to mind when you think about them? The Sogeking theme song and his little character song. But the song Trying by mercury always makes me think of him on Water 7 :(

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character? He's naturally right-handed but taught himself to be ambidextrous!!

13. What's an emoji, an emoticon and/or any symbol that reminds you of this character or you think the character would use a lot? Obviously these two remind me of him 🤥💛. I think he’d use this one 🤬 a lot because that’s him always.

21. If you're a fic writer and have written for this character, what's your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's something you don't like? If it weren't obvious, I loooove writing Usopp, he's dramatic and silly just like me, so I enjoy writing him being extra, especially when he’s teasing one of his friends. I need to make him more whiny and annoying tbh, just go full camp because he’s honestly so dramatic.

22. If you're a fic reader, what's something you like in fics when it comes to ths character? Something you don't like? I like when he bounces off other characters really well, because I think he’s always best with someone else to parry with. I also like when his talents are showcased. I don’t like when his dialogue is boring. And I hateeee when people make him super insecure about his looks! He canonically says he’s cuter than Nami so I know he knows he’s a looker.

23. Favorite picture of this character?

There are so many pics of him that I love and this isn’t even my fave, but I saw it again recently and it made me happy. He’s making his crew laugh! As always! Such a wholesome moment.

SanUso

Of COURSE I got a bingo with SanUso. They're my top OP ship, if that's not obvious. I have So Many thoughts about them; they spin around in my head 24/7. They're my favourite characters, and their canon dynamic is so fun and heart-warming, so it's no wonder why they've stolen my heart. I resonate VERY strongly with both Sanji and Usopp's characters so projecting onto them is my favourite thing in the world. I read and write fic for them constantly. I WANT TO KISS THEM BOTH I HAVE A HUGE CRUSH ON BOTH OF THEM. SANUSO CALL ME PLEASE. I need more canon scenes of them together before I lose my mind because it's been way too long. Love them as a monogamous couple, and as an OT3 with Zoro and the East Blue Polycule.

ZoSopp

OKAY SO I love these guys a lot!! They were my very first One Piece ship because of all their interactions pre-timeskip. Their canon relationship is what is most interesting to me. Since they met, Zoro always had unwavering faith in Usopp's strength and I think he's helped him become more confident. I love how Usopp always messes with Zoro and hides behind him. I think about what their dynamic post-Water 7 must be A Lot. I enjoy them romantically, but I think I like their platonic relationship the best. I love them in the ZoSanUso trio and the East Blue Polycule. ZoSopp fic is rare, but what's out there is so good. I hope to write more for them.

THE BESTIES EVERRRRR!!!!! I definitely prefer them as friends/in a queer-platonic relationship, but their friendship is so sweet that a romantic relationship isn't out of left field. I strongly believe that they have a FWB relationship (I'll finish my fic soon I PROMISE). I like them in the East Blue 5 polycule, where they are the Bosses of the group. I don't really read fic of them but maybe I should.

And they look so good together like?? Their matching fits are adorable, I adore them so much.

GOD, okay. Again, the bestie vibes are super strong with these two, which can easily lead to a romantic relationship, especially with how tactile they both are. Their canon dynamic makes me INSANE. The love they have for each other is so obvious and sweet. Despite their similarities, they're so different in how they think that it makes them clash HARD, as rarely as it happens. And again, big fan of EB5 polycule. I occasionally read fic for them.

🍉 Do you prefer to write short fics or long fics? Multichaptered works or single ones? Why? I usually write short and mid-length (2-10k) one-shots because my ideas can only be stretched that far. Plus, my attention span isn't conducive to writing multi-chaps. Almost all of my multi-chaps are actually just a collection of one-shots. But!! I'm super excited for the sanuso multichaptered fic I've got in the works!

🍎 Is there anything you straight-up won’t write? NSFW with particular kinks that I'm not into. Otherwise, I'm open to trying new things and challenging myself with my writing.

🍒 What’s your favorite character dynamic to write? (Can be romantic or platonic, specific or general!) I love writing love in all its forms so, SO much. Exploring relationships and character dynamics through friendships and romantic relationships brings me unlimited joy. I think I have the most fun writing about relationships as they're developing, and exploring how each character is changed through that new dynamic.

🍊 Who’s a character you don’t write for that often, but keep meaning to write for more? (They’re so interesting! But maybe you have trouble pinning them down, or keep getting distracted by another blorbo…) SOB I've been neglecting all of the other Straw Hats with my Usopp and SanUso obsessions. I'd really like to explore more dynamics between the crew but Usopp keeps pulling me back every time because I just understand him. They'll get their time one day though!
