it’s weird how you get so defensive about critiques of islam. like it is very obviously being used to oppress women in muslim countries to a degree that is just not comparable to other major religions in the present day. like why do you refuse to acknowledge that islam (or the muslim community in SOME parts of the world) has a problem? you don’t hesitate to say that judaism has a zionism problem, so why is this different?

anyways i don’t take issue with critiques of islam lol, i have a whole tag around it. i do take issue with people using terms like afghan, arab, and muslim interchangeably and making weird mocking posts about muslim women getting raped and facing fgm and whatever else while clearly being actually ignorant on the reality of the experiences of the women they’re tokenising. idk how many times i need to repeat this for people to understand
