Im cooking up a story about Sun having to deal with nightmare twins (based of real things Ive had to deal with from my own nightmare siblings)
Tumblr media
The boy is Max and the girl is Mary, they're the children of a mad scientist and a mafioso so they've inherited their madness from their parents. I'm thinking they're the nephew/niece of the y/n who works as a mechanic at the plex (reaping that free daycare benefit perhaps) so they'll have a lot of time to befriend and torment our poor DCA💖

Jake is back after three long months on deployment, a fourth of your relationship — not counting the first couple months when you were ‘just hooking up’. This is your first welcome back. Having texted extensively with Nat’s girlfriend, Sasha, you were given a pretty good lay of the land by her, informed of what to expect.
Homecoming day has arrived, and excitement has consumed your entire body, making your limbs buzz.
Awaiting his arrival on the pier, your foot tapping out a nervous rhythm, you stand in the back, allowing spouses and children to be the first in line. You’re just the girlfriend, the one almost a decade younger than him, the one you know his friends assumed wouldn't be around long. You assumed you wouldn't be around long. Jake is a charmer, and when he set his sights on you, you assumed it would be a one-night stand, a fling at most.
But one night turned into two and then three, which turned into nearly three months of falling asleep and waking up next to him. Most days you’d get a text the second he was done with training, the buzz of your phone always kicking up your heartbeat.
At first, you’d just meet him at The Hard Deck for drinks, then dinner at sit-down restaurants — the preambles to him fucking the shit out of you growing longer and decidedly less casual. Post-coital, he’d sling an arm around your waist in an attempt to keep you from slipping out, waking up with that same soothing weight on you. Eventually, he casually mentioned that you could keep some of your stuff at his place — for convenience, he said. He tried slipping the suggestion under the radar, pre-coffee on a Saturday morning. Bleary-eyed and half-asleep, you barely processed his words, absent-mindedly humming in response.
Then you saw the half-cleared-out drawer — which you later learned was a measure in order not to spook you. Like a full drawer would make you wise to his intentions, like he was trying to acclimate you to the idea of commitment, to a relationship with him.
You remember the feeling of placing spare clothes in that drawer; a spare bra and sweatshirt. Jake watching you from the doorway, trying to not act too pleased in response.
You liked him, his company and his laugh and his baffling love of Taylor Swift that he blamed on his nieces. The man under the bravado wormed his way into your brain.
Though, you could appreciate how he looked puffed-chest and cocksure. Near equally competitive as you are. The first game night you spent with his friends meant you both were banned from ever being on the same team again. Pictionary, trivia, One-Night Ultimate Werewolf — you mopped the floor with them. The rule wasn't entirely the case of sore losers, you can acknowledge the fact that you two were immediately, freakishly in sync. Ultimate Werewolf may have ended in tears of betrayal being shed.
And that's how things progressed for a while, falling deeper while avoiding acknowledging the fact that you were in a relationship. Afraid to say the words and make things complicated. Near everyone in both your and his life were trying to push you both to just trust it. Have a little faith in one another.
One minute you were his girlfriend in all but name, and then you were just his girlfriend. A confession on his couch in the midst of rewatching Veep, ‘Relax, cow eyes’ the soundtrack to everything falling into place.
────────────────────────
Once officers start filtering off the ship, your mind blanks in anxiety. Around you, tears are shed, and poster board is ditched in favor of tight hugs. Laughter and children squealing background noise. You scan the crowd, the sun beating down on you, searching for the handsome shape of Jake Seresin. People come and go, giving you a better view of the naval officers, till you finally spot yours moving towards you. He weaves through the throng with ease, standing before you in a matter of seconds.
A smile stretches your face, eyes squinting from both happiness and the sun. You scan him, categorizing any minute change. Gray. A small streak above his right ear. Your nerve endings light up like a Christmas tree, the sensation doubling at the slight hint of age. Reaching out, your fingers run across his scalp, nails tracing back, playing with the hair that has decided in his relatively brief absence to go gray.
He doesn't shy from your touch, his lashes fluttering at the sensation, an intimate moment playing out in public. Though no one is probably taking notice, wrapped up in their own reunion. He does seem to be a hint abashed at your attention.
He breaks the quiet, “Hey, sweetheart.”
The sound of his voice, clear and unobstructed by distance, rushes through you. Fuck. You're trying to suppress the blatant arousal coursing through your system, keep it out of your voice. Words startled, voice pitched, “You've gone gray.”
Despite your age gap, it’s never been your thing, your Tinder age range has only ever been set 3 years older — but seeing Jake in the flesh, and with a few more grays, is making you muster every ounce of self-control so you don't fuck him in the parking lot, ride him in the backseat of his truck. He probably wouldn't enjoy getting dishonorably discharged.
He hefts his duffle over his shoulder, free hand taking your own to lead you to the car — his truck that he handed the keys over to, something in his gaze when he told you to not let the battery die. Maybe a way for him to feel connected to you, maybe a reassurance that you'd be around when he got back. Your board is still in the bed, having taken up surfing in the mornings since your time was no longer being occupied by Jake slowly fucking you into the mattress.
“I already had grays, I'm just… grayer now.” His pace is quick. It's clear that he's itching to get home. Your boots stamp on the pavement as you practically skip behind him, content with his hand in yours. He looks at you out of the side of his eye, eyebrow raised, “And I wonder why that is.”
“That suspiciously sounds like an accusation.”
“Those photos…” He stops at the teal-striped Ford, throwing his duffle next to your surfboard. Crowding you against the side of it., his voice dropping, “I was opening my mail in the mess, ‘bout gave me a heart attack.”
You’d sent them on a whim — a well-researched whim, you didn't need some random desk jockey finding out your taste in lingerie. But you had missed Jake and wanted him to miss you in return. And what better way to make the heart grow fonder than with scantily clad pictures of your body?
“Well? Did you like them?” You know he liked them, it was a whole production to take them, but even if it wasn't — he’s a man, and you were in lingerie. You looked hot, are hot, present tense. An indisputable fact. And he’s not reserved with telling you and showing you that, but you can't pass up a moment to hear it voiced to you, not after how long he’s been gone.
“I think I have carpal tunnel.”
You snort out a laugh as he exaggeratedly shakes out his hand, clenching and unclenching his fist for your amusement. Eyes skating along your features, he huffs, “Add that to the long list of ailments you've inflicted.”
Letting your fingers lightly trace down his biceps, you press your body even closer to his, perhaps a touch too scandalous for a parking lot in broad daylight. A coy reply rolls off your tongue, “I keep you young.”
“You're going to send me to an early grave.”
Rising to your toes, you brush your lips against his, holding back from full contact. You feel his breath stall in his chest, desperate for it. His hands settle on your waist, squeezing, his face awash in anticipation. He’s beautiful.
Your palm stroking the side of his head, you brush the hair away from his face, pinky skimming the top of his ear. You single out the silver strands between your fingers, silky soft as ever. He’s real and yours — home.
“Ditto. Might as well invest in matching plots, right?”
Broad shoulders shaking with laughter, he brushes his nose against yours. Palms cupping the side of your face, thumbs sweeping across your cheeks, he stops waiting. A long-awaited kiss pressed to your lips, neither one of you able to keep the smiles off your faces.

------------------------------------
You sat on the street, overheating as you watched the ‘heat waves’ coming off the ground. You held your hair up with one of your hands since you had nothing to tie it with, while the other held a lukewarm water bottle. You sighed, you felt so anxious and frustrated.
What now?
You thought letting your mouth part due to your heavy breathing
You took things too fast. It had been about 3 weeks since you left your parents ‘home’ and why did you leave? Well there were a number of reasons that are a bit too much to list, but all that matters now is that you’re completely and utterly on your own.
You only managed to scavenge small jobs here and there to get some money to buy some basic necessities but nothing more.
“Sorry Y/n, my niece is coming down to Tokyo and I told her she could have a job here and stay at the studio above...I’m gonna have to let go. I’m sorry.” said your boss to you only a couple hours ago, with pity filled eyes
“...No it’s fine really! I understand.Thank you for taking me in while you could.” you said bowing your head at the man, biting your inner cheek trying to keep a level head
“I’m happy you understand. You can leave your apron and hat on the cashier. On your way out.” he said patting your shoulder as you slowly brought your head up
“Right..” you said taking off your apron and hat as you walked slowly to the cashier, placing it down
You brought your hands to your temples out of stress, trying to figure out what you could do now. You only had very little money, and there was a heat wave striking Japan this week. At least your boss allowed you to live and pay rent in the small studio right above his store, which had an AC, but now that was for his niece.
This had been the first time in a while where you had no idea what to do. You had always been the type of person to be able to take care of yourself and your problems..on your own. All your life since you can remember, you always had to be the one to take care of others, not that you mind or minded...but you were only so young. You never really had a childhood, at least not that you can remember. You do remember cleaning up after your parents who lost all will just to even... parent. You remember taking jobs as a babysitter at a really young age in your apartment complex to make some money.. You remember being the reliable older kid of your school and complex, where kids would come to you asking for help with things like homework all the way to buying something for them to eat because they were hungry. Not once did you ever say no, because you really did want to be there for those kids who’s parents didn’t give them the care they needed. But it just became too much.. You ended up spending all of your saved up money on them, just so they could have something to play with or something to eat.
Before you even realized it, you were in your last year of high school, with no money saved over, no scholarships, no one to rely on but yourself. Not even a friend. Was it really the right thing to do? Use all your money that you worked so hard for to help kids he lived next door? Or just plain stupid? You knew you couldn't support them forever...but you tried so hard to. All you wanted was to give them a childhood they never had, and someone to look up too. But now you left them. All because you were frustrated. You felt so unbearably guilty. All the work you put into your studies to get at least some type of scholarship just went to waste because you couldn't handle your life anymore. You were being so so so stupid.
Before you even knew it, the sun was going down, and you grew even more tired and sleepy. You signed, taking a jacket out of your bag and placing it on the ground so you could rest your head on it. You brought your hands to cushion your cheek as your eyes started to close. The air finally got a little cooler making it easier to breathe and well...do anything.
As you were falling asleep you could hear chatter and laughing, and finally a tap on your shoulder waking you up. You cringed your eyes before opening them up more to see 2 women. One had blonde hair and the other had pinkish hair. They looked older than you, maybe in their 20’s. One held a bag and the other held a bottle of wine with two glasses, they bent down so their heads could be closer to yours. After examining you for a bit they turned to each other and smiled happily before turning back their gaze to your confused face.
“Hey?” you said sitting up more, a little startled by the intimate contact they were giving you
“Hey there, say...what’s a pretty girl like you sleeping on the street for?” asked the girl with pinkish hair that was tied into pigtails
“I uh..don’t have a place right now so..” you said scratching your head
“Really? Hmmm.” said he one with blonde hair
“How old are you? And what’s your name? I think we can help you out! Woman to woman!” said the pink haired girl smiling sweetly making you feel fuzzy at their niceness
“18, and it’s Y/n.” you said smiling nervously
“Nice to meet you Y/n, I’m Remi, this is Rema, my twin sister.” said the pink haired girl pointing to the blonde as she waved sweetly
“Hi, it’s nice to meet you too..!” you said bringing your hands to your thighs smiling
“So did you just turn 18?” asked Rema
“Sorta, 2 months ago, why?” you asked
“Oh good!” they both said
“Well, it’s your choice really. One of the girls left today, and the boss sent us to scout another girl to take her place, buttt we just went to buy food with no intentions of finding someone but luckily we just found you! It’s perfect!” said Remi
“Oh? What work?” you asked getting excited
“Oh silly, we live in a brothel! It’s really not all that bad you know, great pay and rooms...so what do you think?” asked Rema
“A brothel..” you said under your breath
Your mind was in a serious state of concentration.
It can’t be all that bad, right? You just have to please people and go on with your day so… that’s what i've been doing my whole life… plus… there's a bunch of women in those things right? I probably won't get too much attention from customers if there's sweethearts like Remi and Rema walking around...so...just for the time being… I think it could really work out in my favor.
You thought to yourself
You brought your head up, giving the girls a closed eyes smile before shaking your head ‘yes’ making them jump in excitement.
“Oh good!” yelled Remi grabbing your hands
“I’m so excited! We haven't had a new girl in years! How do you think Ken will react?” asked Rema smiling as you 3 all started to walk
“Ken?” you asked furrowing your eyebrows at the familiar name
“Oh right, We’ll have to introduce you to him and everyone else tomorrow. He’s the bosses foster kid..I think you two are actually the same age.” said Rema bringing her pointer finger to her chin
“Mhm mhm! Oh and since you're new, tomorrow I will take your pictures for the board, you can borrow one of my sets till you can afford to buy one for yourself, how does that sound Y/n?” asked Remi smiling and holding your hand
“It sounds..great! Thank you so much.” you said bowing your head slightly
“No worries! Hopefully the boss will take you in.” said Remi patting your head
“Yeah..” you said as you 3 continued to walk to the brothel
You couldn't seem to get your mind off of that familiar name..Ken? You swore you knew someone named that. It definitely wasn't a popular name so it’s not like you knew it from some type of T.V program.. After thinking hard your whole way to your new home you couldn't seem to remember them. The person named Ken. And so you decided to brush it off for the time being.
The brothel was pretty big, and consisted of 12 girls, not including yourself. It was really late so everyone was asleep. Remi and Rema showed you to your room which was much more spacious than your room at home. They told you that you were allowed to decorate it and style it however you wanted. But they told you it was important to know that this was the room where business would be done, and not to leave important things around since some of the men came into brothels for the sole purpose of stealing. Remi even told you a story about how one of her clients tried to steal one of her panites, but then the boy named Ken stopped him by knocking him out with one punch to the stomach.
“He sounds strong-” you laughed as they gave you a small tour
“He sure is! Like the bodyguard of this place! He’s a sweetheart!” said Remi smiling
“I’m sure..!” you smiled
“Alright that’s about it, you should shower now and get ready for tomorrow. The boss will probably wanna take a look at you before seeing if he wants you. But I'm sure he will! You're pretty so it’ll go smoothly!” said Remi handing you her shower stuff for you to use for tonight and a set
“Got it, and again...thank you so much. I really appreciate it.” you said again
“Of course! Remember..we’re neighbors so feel free to knock whenever you need something..Also I can give you some tips before your first client so you know what to do.” she said smiling
“Right, goodnight then!..” you said feeling your face get hot at how she so easily talked about sex.
After that, you did exactly as she said, you showered. You thoroughly washed your body, face, and hair. Getting out you looked down at the set Remi gave you. It was just a black bra and matching panties with a silk cover up which made you feel better knowing you could cover up with that.
You rubbed your mouth as you started to rethink your decision. I mean...you respected sex workers..but was this life what you were willing to settle for? Aimlessly waiting around for some random horny man to choose you and do things with you just for you to get only 40% of the payment? Was this all really worth it? Leaving home to avoid your problems...to end up here? You were grateful, yes, Remi and Rema were so sweet and open with you. You could only hope that the others were just as nice. You really wanted things to go well, and that can only start with some good rest.
You woke up to a knock on your door, to see Remi and Rema walking in with a smile
“Morninggg!” they sang as you quickly got out of bed
“Hi!” you said frantically
“No need to rush! Usually men start coming in at 10, but since you don't work here officially yet you got to sleep in a bit! But the boss called for you, you should go to the set up room down the hall to get ready, remember it?” asked Rema
“Yeah I do. Thank you for waking me-!” you said smiling and grabbing your stuff and shoes
“Course, good luck Y/n!” they said as you quickly walked out of your room to get ready
As you walked in, there were a few other girls getting ready. You smiled and introduced yourself to them, and them to you. They were all so nice and pretty. It made you feel a little bit better about being here, and less nervous since they complimented your looks. You got ready in about 10 minutes, letting one of the other girls help you out with your hair and stuff like that. You gave yourself one last look in the mirror before stepping out and waving to the girls ‘bye.’
You nervously walked to the boss's door. You took a deep breath before knocking. You heard a muffled ‘come in!’ so you walked in smiling while holding your covering close. You gave a nervous closed eyes smile before seeing his office was simple, just a desk with a bunch of papers and a chair on the other side.
“Y/n, correct?” he asked placing down his paper and taking off his glasses to look at you
“Yes.” you said smiling
“Pleasure-” he said leaning over the desk to shake your hand
“Likewise.” you said smiling, shaking his hand firmly before sitting down
“Well, I’m sure Remi and Rema told you just about everything you need to know, I take 60% of your earrings, I use that stuff to pay for rent and bills for you girls and my kid… which usually takes up about 30% of that 60%, meaning you make a profit of 40, while I make only a profit of 30 per girl.” he said
“Yeah, I was told.” you said smiling nervously fiddling with your hands
“Good good, now that that's over with..” he said getting up ad signing
“I’m just gonna take a look at you, no need to be nervous I’m not gonna touch you or anything, so please don’t feel worried.” he said smiling
“Right!” you said getting up
“Alright just do a quick 360 with arms up.” he said smiling
“Okay.” you said doing as he said
He looked you up and down but not in a lustful way at all, it was more of like a ‘just seeing how you’ll hold up’ kinda look, almost like he was a bit worried for you.
“Thank you-” he said sitting back down as you did the same feeling nervous
“I was also told you’re 18? Right?” he asked looking down at his papers
“Yeah that's right.” you said
“Well I don't usually have this talk with the other woman because they're older. I know the age of consent in Japan is 16 and blah blah, but you’re still pretty young, are you sure you wanna work like this?” he asked looked into your eyes
“...Not entirely but it’s the best I can do right now.” you said with a determined face
“I see- we’ll then welcome, and just remember you can leave whenever you want, but give a 2 weeks notice. When Remi is done, ask her to take your picture.” he said
“Understood, thank you!” you said said smiling and leaving
You walked out of the room, closing the door carefully signing in relieve
That went pretty well.
You thought
You started to walk down the hall so that you could ask Remi to take your picture. But when you put your ear to the door, you heard lewd noises letting you know she wasn’t done just yet. It was already 5, and the brothel closes at 10. You didn’t really know what to do, so you walked over to the kitchen, sitting down at one of the stools waiting for Remi and or Rema to finish up with their work. You tapped the pen that was on the table and started to look around the kitchen. You remembered Remi told you there were snacks in the cabinets, so you got up and started to open and close them one by one to find something to eat. You finally found a cabinet filled instant ramen, you grabbed one and started to pour water into it, popping it into the microwave that was on the counter top. You stood in front of it waiting, playing with the loose strings of you covering when suddenly you heard the door open.
“I’m home.” said the tall boy with dark hair tied back to reveal a dragon tattoo on the side of his head
Is this Ken?
You thought as the microwave beeped, making his eyes turn to you
You quickly shot your eyes to the microwave, hoping he didn’t notice your stare. He looked so familiar it was almost irritating how you couldn’t remember him. You took the hot cup out of the microwave, placing it down on the counter top, ignoring his presence as he walked over, placing down the plastic bag in his hand, noticing your frustrated face trying to figure out where the utensils are.
“Left of the sink are where they are.” he said sitting down on the stool across from you after looking at your face a bit
“Thank you.” you said smiling nervously turning around to grab a pair of chopsticks
“Are you new here?” he asked taking out a styrofoam box from the plastic bag, opening it to reveal a hot meal of meat and rice and vegetables
“Yeah..I was supposed to start today but I don’t have my pictures taken yet.” you said smiling turning back to mix your noodles
“Could you grab me a pair too?” he asked realizing he forgot to take a pair of chopsticks from the restaurant
“Sure-” you said turning back quickly to grab some for him, placing it in his hands as he gave you a soft smile making your eyes widen slightly.
“You look familiar..” you both said at the same time making both your eyebrows raise in shock then turn into a slight scoff from the both of you
“Glad we’re on the same page then.” he said taking a bite of his food as you did the same still standing
“You know you can sit down, don’t feel nervous.” he said looking up you slightly
“..yeah.” you said smiling, walking around and sitting next to him.
“So when’d you come?” he asked turning his head slightly to see your mouth filled with noodles making him smile a bit
“..I came by last night, really late with Remi and Rema.” you said after finishing your bite
“I see...I feel like I remember you from somewhere, can’t pinpoint it though.” he said looking back down at his food
“Same here, and you must be Ken though, right? When I first heard your name I swore the same thing but I just can’t remember..” you said before sipping some of the broth of your soup
“Yeah, but you can call me Draken and your name?” he asked getting up to grab a napkin from across the table
“Draken...sure! Oh right, my bad. It’s Y/n. Nice to meet you-” you said smiling holding your hand out for him to shake
He only completely shot up to look into your eyes with his wide ones. You gave him a confused look as you watched him get knocked out of his thoughts, bring his hand up to shake your hand before clearing his throat and walking back over to sit. Maybe you struck a nerve? Maybe had the same name as someone who hurt him in the past? You really didn’t know but it made you feel interested. He looked like he just had his life flash before his eyes or something.
“Are you okay?” you asked
“Uh yeah, I’m fine. My head just hurts a bit.” he said looking as if he was deep in thought
“Oh? I have some tylenol in my room.. You want one? Or I can make you a cold drink, you’re probably dehydrated?” you asked smiling a bit
Draken turned his head to look at you, his mouth was parted, and he just looked so..anxious? You couldn’t even tell, almost like congested because he wanted to say something.
Draken felt his heartbeat quicken when he heard your name. As soon as you said it, a random memory that was buried deep in the back of his mind hit him as he quickly re-lived it. But could it really be you? The Y/n he knew from so so so long ago? Around 10 years ago? There could be no way, he remembers the girl moving to a different city..the chances were so low that it could really be you already.
But the second you said those words.. Those words of offering to make something for him, or give him something, despite you thinking you only just met him...Made him know that it was really the Y/n he met when he was only a little boy...but how the hell did you turn up here? In a place and part of town like this? He was so confused and just wanted to ask you...but you still didn’t remember him.
“..No I’m alright, thanks..can I ask you somethin-” said Draken before being interrupted
“Y/n!! Come on, let's take your pictures!” yelled Remi coming out of her room waving as a man walked out too buttoning his shirt
“Sorry, just remember what you wanted to say and tell me later.” you said smiling and standing up and walking over to Remi
Draken watched you as you walked away. He saw Remi give you a hug, and the man that was walking out checked you out to which Draken gave him a pissed off look. Making the man smile nervously, wave, and leave.
Do you really wanna live your life like this, Y/n?
He thought to himself before packing up his trash and throwing it away
Remi took your pictures, telling you to do different poses etc, and you finally settled on one. You walked over to the front of the house to place your picture in its designated area above your name. You signed, stepping back to look at it, fixing your gaze to see Draken was walking over with his hands in his pocket, looking as he was going to leave. You saw him glance at the photo making you feel slightly embarrassed.
“Nice.” he said smiling but looking into your eyes in a way where it looked like he was concerned for you.
Just as you were about to thank him a man walked in and started looking at you making you feel nervous. The man requested you, and so you smiled at him pointing your hand to where the showers were, as you started to walk behind him, you turned your hand giving a thumbs up to Draken with a nervously flushed face, smiling, as he he brought his hand up giving you a thumbs up with soft and concerning eyes before opening the door and leaving. It made your smile fade slightly, you’ve seen that face before from him. But not from today.. And it was all you could think about during your work.
As you laid in your room, after work you couldn’t help but feel a little bit...stupid? You felt so unsatisfied, not because of your customers but because you just couldn’t remember. It felt like an itch you couldn’t scratch hard enough, and with every interaction you had with the boy almost felt like a tease, like the itch just became more itchy and your scratches just became more weak. Maybe if you spend more time with him, you’ll remember?
It had been about 4 weeks, 4 weeks of saving your money, and every 4 weeks the boss collected his fair share of the cut. It wasn’t a pretty 4 weeks, it was probably the worst 4 weeks of your life. But... you and Draken would often exchange stories about your lives late at night which you enjoyed a lot. It always makes you feel better. But yet again you still couldn't figure him out. You felt as though you’ve met him before, and as though you two have had these kinds of talks before.
Draken only grew more and more helpless, seeing how you still haven’t remembered. He was slowly watching your life crumble. He felt so angry that you settled and believed you deserved to live like this, barely scraping by. He felt so awful, and saw how you grew so tired of it all. He just so badly wanted you to remember him, so that he could once again talk to you like he did before.
You had one last customer before closing, going through your usual routine, this n that, the man offered you a drink. You stupid obliged drinking it, hoping it would make your time more enjoyable but you were wrong, so very wrong, and so very stupid for drinking that stupid drink. You remember some parts, you did your job, then it all went black.. You woke up after hearing knocking on your door. You jumped out of bed, confused. You remember seeing the man leave as you started to fall asleep but that's about it. Usually you never fall asleep after the work because you never do much, your mind started to panic. But the door opened revealing Remi smiling.
“Hey sleepy! Boss says it’s your turn, come on, get your cash!” she said smiling
“Right let me just..it’s in my drawer..I don't know why I fell asleep so fast I think alcohol makes me sleepy.” you said getting out of bed and kneeling in front of your drawer to get the envelope of cash you had been saving.
“Heh, same here. I never accepted drinks from clients..they never had good intentions with that!” she said coming over and sitting at your bed
“..yeah.” you said starting to feel that panic arise in your body when seeing the envelope was...gone.
“What's wrong?” asked Remi noticing you were frozen
“I- the money..It’s gone..he took it..” you said with wide eyes feeling as though you were about to sob realizing you had just lost thousands of yen.
“Don’t say that..it..it probably just got misplaced! Come on, I'll help you look!” said Remi getting up
You couldn't even respond because of the amount of panic you were in. Your heart was racing and you felt tears fall from your eyes. After about 15 minutes of looking, you two found nothing. Absolutely nothing. You sat on the floor with your hand over your mouth, again, trying to keep a level head.
What now..?
You thought to yourself feeling hot tears stream from your face.
“Hey..guys? Boss is calling for you Y/n..what’s going on?” asked Rema walking in seeing you covering your face, crying
“She was robbed by the guy who just left, he put something in her drink to knock her out while he looked around and took the money...she doesn’t have the money.” said Remi
Rema’s mouth parted in shock and pity.
How could you mess up something so easy? All you had to do was keep your money safe. But you even failed at that.
“You have to tell him, Y/n.” said Rema rubbing your back
“Yea..yeah, could you two just give me a second? I’ll be right out.” you said smiling while wiping your face
“Sure.” they said frowning and walking out
You fisted your hands, and grabbed your covers before screaming into them to muffle your sounds..
Okay..it was a couple of thousand yen...not too bad right? I can promise the money by tomorrow..I’ll pick up some sort of street job...yeah! That’s good. Everything is fine..it’s fine.
You thought to yourself before wiping your face on more time and slapping both sides of your cheeks to wake you up.
You got up and walked to the bosses door feeling the eyes of people on your back. You knocked on the door before opening it slowly, refusing to make eye contact as you went to stand in front of the man with your arms behind your back.
“Alrighttt, let’s see here, in the last four weeks you had a total of 37 customers, so you should have around 300,000 yen, correct?” he asked looking at his paper
“Yes.” you said still looking down
“Alright, just hand it to me so I can count and divide it, you can sit.” he said smiling holding his hand out
“I..I don-” you said before being interrupted by a knock
“Come in.” he said
“Hey sorry dad, Y/n left her money with me while she went out. Thought I should bring it to her. Remember, Y/n?” said Draken walking in with an envelop in his hand smiling as he came to stand next to you, as you nodded your head ‘yes’
“Oh, thank you Ken.” he said smiling and taking the envelop
Your mouth parted as you gave a confused look, Draken only smiled and gave you a thumbs up while his dad counted the money. You felt so guilty and shocked, and all you could do was just stand there, like an idiot.
“Here you are...120,000 back..” he said, patting the money on the table to make it flat, putting it back into the envelope and handing it to you
You hesitantly brought your hand to grab it, glancing over at Draken who gave you small smile
“Thank you-” you said to him seeing Draken was already opening the door to leave
You quickly followed after him as he walked into his room. Before entering his room he turned around and looked down at you
You felt your eyes soften as you felt as though you were about to cry again, you tilted your head and neck down biting the inside of your cheek to keep in your cry.
“I promise I’ll pay all of it back by tomorrow, all 300,000.” you said
“Do you ever give yourself a break?” he asked as you brought your head up to look at him seeing he looked almost irritated
“You didn’t even ask why I did it, you just immediately jumped to feeling guilty. And you don’t need to pay me back. Really.” he said bringing his hand to close to the door, but you stopped him by grabbing his wrist making his breath hitch
“Why?” you asked looking into his eyes
“You still don’t remember? Even after all this time we’ve spent together?” he asked smiling as you took your hand off his wrist
“Remember...?” you asked furrowing your eyebrows in confusion, but then it suddenly hit you
“I swear it wasn’t me! I didn't steal!” yelled a little boy with blonde hair as two cops stood in front of him
You tilted your head and walked closer, but still keeping your distance to hear. It was a winter day and you were on your way to the corner store to buy some snacks, but you were met with an interesting scene. You kept your hands in your pockets as you listened over to the boy screaming and pleading his innocence
“I wouldn’t steal something so stupid! What would a kid like me need a lighter for!! I don’t know how it ended up in my pocket! Lay off!” he yelled as the officer dangled the lighter in front of his face
A lighter?
“Keep it down! We know how troubled you kids are here! Especially with those tattoos!” yelled back the cop as the boy grew angry and fisted his hands, ready to punch the cop
“Hey!!!” he heard a voice yelled
“Hey wait a minute!” you yelled waving your hand smiling as you ran to the scene
“Can we help you?” asked one of the cops in a soft tone
The blonde boy grew quiet, and you saw his hands loosen as he looked at your smiling face
“Yeah, why are you two yelling at my brother?” you asked furrowing your brows at the two grown man
“...Your so-called brother stole a lighter from the corner store right behind you, where are your parents? We would like to have a word with them.” he said standing up straight
“Yeah, and talk about how they let their son tattoo himself already..” said one under his breath making the other laugh
You looked over at the boy growing angry, you gave him a smile..making him calm down.
“He said it was just an accident, I asked him to pick up a lighter from the store so that we could light a candle at our father’s grave! See!” you said digging into your bag to pull out a candle
“He probably felt pressured because I asked him to get it, so if you’re gonna get mad at someone, get mad at me!” you said as you started to fake cry
“It’s our father's death anniversary, and you're yelling at kids for making a mistake.” you faked cried
“Yeah!!” yelled the boy making you smile under your hands as the two officers became anxious, feeling bad for what they had just done.
“..we’re sorry. Please let us apologize.” they said slightly bowing at you two
“I don’t think we can accept it...you two also made fun of the dragon tattoo on his head!...dragons were our dads favorite animal. He risked his life fighting for Japan and you two are laughing at him! Is that how your mother taught you how to behave?” you asked pretending to wipe you tears as the blonde boy watched you in awe seeing you toy with grown men
“Please let us treat you both to whatever you’d like from the corner store as an apology!” they both said bowing lower making you smile and look back at the boy. You gave him a thumbs up as a smile grew on his face
“Fine..come on then?” you said as both the officers raised their heads, opening the doors of the corner store for you both
You and the blonde boy walked around the store, filling your baskets with all types of things. The blonde boy watched you in just pure awe as you walked around picking your favorite snacks, as he did the same, glancing at you every now and then.
“Here.” you said smiling at the cops
“Right!” they said frantically taking out their wallets as the boy placed down his stuff nervously, still watching you
“Oh and-” you said reaching your hand to grab the lighter from the officer and placing it into the bunch of snacks
You smiled, your hands were behind your back as you watched the officers pay for yours and the boys' food, placing them into bags for you guys too. You grabbed the lighter and your bag, as the boy did the same
“Mom told us to meet her at the cemetery steps, remember?” you said looking into the boys eyes
“..yeah, I remember.” he said smiling feeling his face become hot
“Let’s go then.” you said smiling and taking his hand as you two ran out of the store
After a bit you two stopped and sat on the curbside while you both chose a snack to eat.
“Here’s your lighter, you don’t have to stay with me by the way.” you said handing him the steel lighter
“..Thanks” he said
“Sure- what do you need it for anyway?” you asked smiling
“My boss asked for it.” he said putting it in his pocket
“Oh, are you in some type of delinquent group?” you asked looking at him
“Yeah..” he said smiling
“That's cool, what do you guys do?” you asked taking a sip of your drink
“We kinda just...like...do stupid stuff and fight..” he said
“Sounds fun, but...stupid.” you said laughing making him scoff
“Why’d you do it?” he asked
“Do what?” you asked back turning you gaze to him
“Come in to cover me. You could’ve gotten in a lot of trouble because of me.” he said with a frustrated face
“You’re right, I just wanted to, that's all.” you said smiling making his mouth part and cheeks redden
“You seem pretty fun too so I thought we could be friends or something..” you said nervously
“Yeah! Sure- We can be friends!” he said happily making you feel flustered
“Well then, it’s nice to meet you, my name is Y/n, yours?” you asked holding over your hand
“Ken, but you can call me Draken-” he said taking ahold of your hand gently as you gave him a closed eyed smile blushing
“where the hell did you find that candle and com up with that whole sob story Y/n?”
“Dunno, I saw the candle on the ground by a newspaper, I kinda just winged it- “
After that day you remember hanging out with Draken almost every other day. You remember him telling you how he and his close friends started their own gang and needed some sort of funding, and so you gave it to him, on his birthday.
“I saved up! You said that you and your friends needed some money to start off so that you guys could buy a flag or banner? Right? Well, here’s 30,000 yen for your birthday!” you said handing him an envelope and a small balloon.
“Are-are you serious right now Y/n?” he asked taking the gifts, opening the envelope to look inside to see the money as his eyes lit up
“Yeah, I babysit more kids now so I was able to put some aside for you.” you said smiling satisfied with his reaction
He didn’t even say anything, all he did was bring his arms around you upper body, hugging you tight making you laugh as you brought yours to hug him back
“Thank you- you’re the best! The guys will be so happy!” he said smiling while grasping your wrists in excitement. Your eyes traced over his face as they soften. You smiled.
“Likewise.”
And- after that, you remember the day you 2 separated as friends. You both sat on the curbside, you remembered you called him to come and see you. It was a winter night and the sun was going down.
“I uh..well I don’t really know how to say this without sounding cliche but-”
“What? Are you gonna confess that you’re madly in love with me or something?” he asked grinning, making you sweat drop
“Jeez be quiet...I’m trying to make this a memorable moment-” you signed smiling, placing your palms on the cold cement
“Alright let’s hear it then Y/n-!” he said bringing his hands to the back of his head as he laid down looking up at the stars
You only frowned slightly, you shifted your position so that you could sit beside him and have a good look at his face.
“You’re scaring me..” he said jokingly making you smile
“It was really fun the past year.” you said smiling as Draken shot his head up to look at you face to face
“The hell are you talking like that for?” he asked furrowing his brows
“My parents can’t afford living in any districts in Tokyo anymore, so we’re moving to another city… about 4 hours train ride from Tokyo so-” you said looking down at your hands on the floor
“So? You act like I won't be able to come and see you or you come and see me..” he said ducking his head a bit so that you could look at him
“Draken, train tickets are about 220 yen per person, I can't afford it, and if you came by to see me I'd feel guilty because you’d be wasting your money just to only see me for like an hour.” you said
“How can I be wasting my money on you? It’s not wasting if I wanna do it and see you, plus what makes you think it'll only be a couple hours?” he asked
“I’ll have to start working once we get there, so I wouldn’t have anytime...I wanna start saving so that one day I can come back to Tokyo and live here, so that I can see your dream come true of helping your friend create a ‘new era of delinquents’ you know? I’ll even help you guys if you want with financial stuff or something.” you said smiling at him
Draken bit the inside of his cheek. He wanted to tell you so bad how he felt but..
“Look, I have a feeling I know what you’re gonna say..just remember what you wanted to say and tell me later, okay?” you said placing your hand on top of his causing his eyes to widen
“...You’ll remember me, right?” he asked looking into your eyes deeply making your mouth part
“Yeah, I’ll remember you as long as you remember what you wanted to tell me. Cause I feel the same” you said smiling as a tear fell from your eyes
“good...I will.” he said smiling back and tilting his head and wiping it off your face
After the memories hit you, you stood there with wide eyes and tears, with your wrist covering your quivering mouth. You had completely suppressed your memories of Draken, and your feelings because you knew you wouldn't be able handle being apart from him for so long. And he did the same. You couldn’t imagine how unbearable it was for him to be waiting up like this. You looked up at him seeing his eyes were softly looking at you. You could do nothing but bring your arms around him hugging him, as he brought his arms around you to do the same. You were still such in shock.
“I never thought you’d end up in a place like this, living a life like this.” he said against your ear
“I don’t wanna see you like this, please let me take care of you like you did for me..” he said said tightening his grip slightly
You could only cry at his words, you didn’t even wanna try to speak because you knew it would only come out as a sob. Was it really alright for you to rely on someone so much?
He pulled back from the hug and looked at your face, seeing you were still crying as you nodded your head ‘yes’, he smiled and wiped them away with his thumb. The smile on his face...he looked so satisfied...and happy...happy that you finally remembered. Finally remembered him.

The Whole Time?!
Tumblr media
Pairing: Jake JensenxBlack Reader
⚠️: Maybe a tiny bit of technical angst (🤷🏽‍♀️ lol), fluff💕
“P-Pooch?,” you stammer unable to fathom that your supposedly dead brother was standing in front of you and his wife who was about to give birth to their son in any minute.
“Hey peanut,” he smiles stepping further in the hospital room. “I’d hug you, but I’m w-,”
You didn’t even let him finish before immediately wrapping your arms around his neck and burying your face in his shoulder. Good thing he was already wet from the rain, your tears would just be a welcomed addition.
“Wait. D-Does that mean-”
“Hey babe,” the all too familiar voice speaks making more silent tears fall as you lift your head. Just as soaked as Pooch, he nervously smiles removing his hat to reveal his spiked frosted tips. He pretty much looked the same as you last saw him. Toned arms and chest shielded by his dripping jacket along with your personal favorite, his black circular frames bringing even more attention to those crystal baby blues.
There were plenty of times you thought about what you’d do if granted this moment. Cry, scream, maybe jump into his arms clinging onto him like a koala on a tree. Possibly all three even. Now, finally being granted your wish after all these months, there was one main thing on your mind.
“Wow,” he smiles as you slowly move closer to each other. “I didn’t think it was possible, but somehow you’ve gotten more beautiful.” Just as the words left his mouth, the back of your hand connecting with his abdomen in the hardest hit you could muster nearly knocks the wind out of him as he keeled forward.
“And apparently stronger too..,” he coughs.
“How could you?!”
“I didn’t do it on purpose! We had to so we could go after the guy who set us up. And why didn’t you hit Pooch?! He was in it too.”
“He’s got one coming after my nephew safely enters the world, right now though it’s your turn,” you glare before smacking him again.
“Told you she had a strong backhand,” Pooch states quickly closing the room door before his sister decided to direct her rage at him.
The rest of the team merely watch in entertainment as your hits move to his shoulders and biceps until Jensen can grab your wrists pinning them by your sides.
“I’m sorry for putting you through all that, but it’s not like I completely left! I could still see you.”
You tilt your head in confusion ready to ask what he was talking about, until seeing Clay nervously scratch the back of his neck as he and Cougar shift their gaze clues you in on what he meant.
“SERIOUSLY JAKE?!”
“Wha-? I-,”
“Did you really think that would make me feel better?!”
“...Honestly at this point I’m afraid to answer.”
Annoyed groan falling from your lips, you tried to escape his grasp, but his larger hands slightly tightening their grip on yours, along with him following your every movement, keep you in place. “When we go home I can explain everything.”
“Will you? Or are you just gonna lie some more?”
“I promise I’ll tell everything,” he whispers, leaving a chaste kiss on your temple before flashing one of his ‘please don’t stay mad at me forever because I love you’ smiles. So far, it’d gotten him out of any argument you had. Including this one.
Darn those good looks of his.
“Fine,” you reply as you cross your arms, leaving him to find a seat in the nearby waiting room.
“Any tips here Colonel?,” Jake sighs.
“I’m probably not the one you’d want relationship advice from.”
Another heavy sigh leaves his lips as he follows your path down the hall to sit next to you. That is if you’d let him.
“Okay, is anybody else stuck on the fact that Jensen actually has a girlfriend?,” Aisha states breaking the momentary silence and making both men chuckle.
———
It’s the happiest he’s ever been to walk into his small, outdated apartment. Things weren’t exactly the same as he left it with your few new decorations and pieces of furniture trying to make the place a bit of your own, but of course he didn’t mind. It actually warmed his heart that although he was “gone” you still chose to stay, sticking by his side when you easily could’ve moved on with your life.
“Jeez, the faucet always drip that loud?,” he lightly chuckles shedding his coat and placing it on the small hanger by the door.
“It started a bit after you left,” you sigh kicking off your shoes. “Think it’s loud now, it’s even louder when you’re just sitting here alone.”
Following you to the bedroom feeling like a dog with its tail between his legs, he sits at the foot of the bed looking down at his hands as you move about the bathroom getting yourself ready for bed. Your words were like the sharpest sting as his mind vividly showed an image of you just sitting in this apartment with nothing but thoughts of loosing your brother and boyfriend along with the hum of the AC. He knew for the sake of their mission, and the team, he couldn’t say anything, but it still didn’t take away his guilt of what you went through mentally and emotionally.
“I tried to write you.”
“What, your computer go down and you couldn’t watch me anymore?,” you counter over your shoulder before rinsing the soap from your face.
“That was only once okay? I was watching my niece’s soccer game and then I thought about what you were doing and kinda sorta hacked your office’s cameras, which yes I know was wrong. Speaking of, they really should update their software, a fifth grader could easily hack into it just guessing the password,” he answers making you roll your eyes with a chuckle.
“And who’s Tom?”
“Tom?”
“Yea. Curly brown haired guy, cubicle across from yours. Big head you can see a mile away.”
“I’m sorry are you somehow trying to turn things on me when you’re the one that’s supposed to be explaining why I’ve thought you were dead this whole time?,” you ask wiping the remaining moisturizer from your hands before crossing them in front of your chest as you step closer to the now nervous looking man.
“N-no, of course not! But I mean since he’s been mentioned...”
“He’s just this guy at work that apparently likes me and asked me out but I said no, because a small part of me kept hoping that you’d miraculously come back. Happy?”
“I-uh...y-yes?”
Sighing, you sit beside him tucking your bare legs under you and taking his hand in yours to trace the lines on his palm. You never knew how or why you started, but it was something you occasionally did while you two were talking or just lying next to him enjoying each other’s company. It brought a smile and giddy feeling to Jensen, just as it did to you.
“Listen, I’m sorry I’m giving you a hard time, I know you didn’t have a choice, and understand. Selfishly though, I just missed you so much and wish I could’ve known. It definitely would’ve saved some sleepless nights and tears.”
With his other hand, his thumb and index finger gently grab your chin guiding you to meet his eyes. “I’m sorry for everything I put you through having you think I was dead. The second we threw our tags in that fire you and my family were all I could think about. Like I said I wanted to write and give you some sign that I wasn’t gone, but I could never figure out how to start. Plus Clay threatened to cut off little Jensen if I did send anything back home once he found out, which only made it tougher.”
“Yea we wouldn’t want that,” you softly laugh following a short sniffle you were trying to hold back. You really were done with crying, having done so since you got that devastating call so long ago, and just wished your tear ducts would shrivel up already. “Sorry, I thought I was done with the tears.”
“Shh, don’t be.” Leaning forward, his soft as clouds lips meet the single salty droplet in the middle of you cheek erasing its presence before moving to yours in quite possibly the most delicate, tender kiss you’ve ever experienced. Any other time, you’d probably call it painfully slow, trying to take the lead to move things along. But as you both sat there taking everything in from each other’s scents to the feel of how one’s lips and mouth felt on the other, you couldn’t feel more connected.
Just barely pulling away, his swollen lips rest centimeters above yours ready to take them again as soon as he caught his breath.
“I don’t know if I should be embarrassed at myself or amazed at whatever powers you have,” he starts, a light chuckle escaping him. “But I think you just made me-,”
“Jensen!,” you laugh, playfully smacking his shoulder. “Way to ruin a romantic mood.”
“If it’s romance you want, say no more,” he smiles taking your hand in his and placing it on his chest as he clears his throat. To the best of his ability, he begins singing the opening lines to your couple’s song, as Jake proclaimed it, instantly making you fall back on the bed in laughter.
“You actin' kinda shady, ain't callin' me baby, why the sudden change. Say my name, say my name!”
“This is definitely not a couple’s song,” you laugh feeling his forearms rest on either side of your head and chest vibrate from his laughing.
“I’ll admit lyrically wise..yes, you’re right. But it’s still ours which makes it special.”
You’d never forget that day in the grocery store trying to find a pint of your favorite ice cream as the song played overhead. Without really looking, you thought you were on the freezing aisle by yourself and began singing along as you gently bobbed your head. Suddenly hearing a voice singing the background vocals made you slightly jump turning to see the taller man in a grey sweatshirt, blue and white basketball shorts, and sneakers holding up his hands.
“Sorry, didn’t mean to scare you. I-It’s Destiny’s Child, I couldn’t resist.”
“It’s okay, and I mean who can?,” you respond, both softly laughing before shyly looking back at your respective sections to get your frozen desserts.
“Soo...you like ice cream?,” he asks interrupting the momentary silence.
“Yea, um my favorite’s moose tracks,” you answer briefly holding up your pint with a smile.
“You know who has a good moose tracks? Bennie & Bailey’s downtown. They make it from scratch and I don’t know what all they put in it, but it’s amazing.”
“Oh, okay thanks. I don’t think I’ve ever been there.”
“Well you should definitely go one day. I mean if you want,” he nervously chuckles.
“Will do,” you smile. “Only if you’ll take me though?”
At first, being met with his shocked, speechless expression made your newfound confidence falter thinking you might’ve been too bold with the cute stranger, whom you hadn’t even asked if he was single or not. However seeing his eyes shine bright and adorable smile grace his pink lips, your excitement returned as he moved closer handing you his phone.
Years later, the rest is history as you lie in bed with the man you were sure was the love of your life.
“Hey what’s going on in there?,” he asks brushing his fingertips across your forehead noticing you become quiet. Lightly scratching his goatee, you feel your eyes start to water again causing you to blink a few times trying to keep them at bay.
“I just don’t want you to leave again,” you whisper, moving your fingers to card through his chestnut and blonde mixed strands.
“I’m not going anywhere unless you ask me too.”

funfetti lingerie
summary: «  can we PLSSSS get a jake birthday sex smut where the reader wants to please him and is wearing lingerie i will die omg thank u ».
warnings: lots of curse words, teasing, smut, sorta dominant reader??? (your guess is as good as mine)
word count: 1352
notes: I HAD TO TURN THIS INTO A ONE SHOT i’m sorry. it became so lengthy. thank you so much for resending this request! or at least, sending something super similar to what i had in my inbox! this is bomb!!! and late af, but hey, make it your birthday everyday! also, the title sounds bad if you read lingerie as lann-ge-r-hey and not “lynn-ge-ree”. look at me, doing phonetics. thank you for sending that and thank you all for reading it!
Whether it was for your anniversaries or your actual birthdays, it became a tradition for Jake and you to go to the same restaurant as the one you went to on your first date. You would ask to sit by the same table, you would order the same thing and, eventually, the waiting staff recognized the lovebugs staring at each other with sparks in their eyes. They would offer you dessert and coffees, helping you make the night last longer. And usually, you two would gladly accept, although you would generously tip everyone on your way out.
This night was different. Jake celebrated his birthday and he had spent the entire day with his mother, sister and nieces looking like a fool with a birthday hat and blowing a flute. He was exhausted, but he did not stop smiling all night long. Most importantly, he was being inappropriate. His foot was constantly playing with yours under the table and his hand was dangerously caressing up your thigh.
The more you pretended to ignore him, the more impatient he got. You had to take sips of your drink to stop you from laughing. The poor guy, if only he knew what was waiting for him… Earlier that day, you went shopping alone, taking advantage of him spending quality time with his family. You went to a cute store and found a perfume you really liked, which was a phenomenon on its own.
Jake would always pick the right scent for you. In fact, he liked to pick almost everything you needed. He knew you so well, he would always bring you the right brand of pads or tampons along with all your favorite chocolate bars. He would pick up clothes for you to try on. And, lastly, he would pick the cutest lingerie. Always the right size, the right fabric and the right style.
So, you decided to surprise him and go buy a new set of bra and panties, on your own. You lingered in the store for quite some time until you found something that caught your attention. A salesperson helped you find your cup size and wrapped the lingerie like it was a Christmas present. She was not far from the truth. When you came back home to get ready for dinner, you slid on the lingerie and wrapped your body in one of your favorite dresses, which was complemented by your long trench coat to protect you from New York’s cruel winter wind.
Jake and you agreed to meet at the restaurant, so he knew nothing from your little plan. In fact, he thought he was the one being the biggest tease and making you nearly choke on a bite of chocolate mousse cake when you felt the tip of his fingers sliding underneath your dress. “Oops, sorry.” He would giggle and wink at you.
You smiled back at him, looking like a real angel that was not hot and bothered by his touch. Eventually, the waiters gathered around your table with another slice of cake; this time to sing happy birthday. You looked at the people and smiled wider, clapping your hands until you had to readjust the strap of your new bra. It conveniently fell off your shoulder, so you moved it back up and slid it under the strap of your dress, innocently.
Jake, whose smile was slowly fading into an open, eager mouth, noticed the unfamiliar color of the piece. It was blue, somewhere between a baby blue with a powdered finish and a light blue sky on a beautiful morning in spring. Your lingerie was the exact color of Jake’s eyes. He waited to react until the waiting staff was away, but you cut him off before he could make a sound.
“Just wait until you see the full thing.”
*~*~*
Jake was placing feverish kisses along your jawline and neck, down to your collarbone as he clumsily tried to unzip the back of your dress. The ride back home from the restaurant made him suffer. Just imagining you in beautiful baby blue lingerie drove him insane, just like the thought that he had not bought you one like this first.
“Easy, easy. I don’t want you to break it.” You chuckled, tilting your head back as he kissed your neck some more.
“Need you, Y/N. I need to see you so bad.” It sounded like a beautiful mix of a plea and an order.
You pulled away from his arms and wet lips, pushing him down on the bed. You decided to unwrap his present on your own. Slowly, your hands worked the zip and you slid your arms off the sleeves. You raised your eyebrow when he tried to touch himself, so he pulled his hand away. It was easy access since he already kicked his clothes off at the second you two walked in your place. You could swear he got even harder when your dress fell to your ankles, revealing the lingerie. It was simple, no garters or stockings, but it did the trick for him.
“Fuck, you’re so fucking beautiful, honey.” He moaned. “Don’t take it off.” He instructed when he saw you were sliding your thumbs underneath the hem of the panties.
“Do you want me to keep them on while I fuck you?” You ask as you watch him move on the bed. He was laying down, offering you to straddle his midriff. And you did, after removing your high heels.
“Please, babygirl. You look so beautiful.” He gently grabbed your face with his hands and brought you into a deep kiss. Once you were holding yourself properly, he let his hands travel your body. He groped your breasts and massaged them through the fabric, but it was only when his thumb went to rub your clit that you moaned against his lips. He slid his tongue in your open mouth and let it dance with yours as he kept rubbing your sensitive bud against the lace.
The friction felt amazing, even more so when you started to grind against his hard on. Just by the way he smirked against your lips, and even after you pulled away, you knew that he could feel how wet you were. The fabric darkened, just like your cheeks when he popped the question.
“Can you ride my cock tonight? That’d be the best birthday gift ever.” He brushed a strand of hair away from your face.
“Better than the collection of Care bear movies I got you last year?” You rocked your hips harder against his cock.
“Shit, yes, even better than that.”
You moved your hand beneath you and reached for his shaft. You held it against your entrance when Jake moved your panties to the side. He was so big inside of you, but you managed to lower yourself all the way down, letting out a long moan of pleasure.
“So fucking pretty, you’re taking me so well.” Jake was basically whimpering when you bopped up and down on him. He watched you take him all the way in only to move up so he was almost out of you. He set one hand on your hip and brought the other one to your core, rubbing your clit again to bring you as close as he was.
“Happy… Fucking… Birthday… Babe!” You panted, when he rubbed small circles against you. You felt his cock twitching inside of you, and just like that, the two of you were coming at the same time in a noisy mess of moans and praises and curse words.
“Keep my come inside of you, baby. We don’t wanna ruin these yet.” He chuckled and helped you lower yourself down against him, without pulling him out. You both knew that if he moved out, you’d have his come oozing down your folds. “T’was the best birthday present ever.”
You pecked his lips and ran your fingertips over his chest. “I figured we needed a new color to fill in the rainbow!”
“Your lingerie drawer be looking like a funfetti cake, and I’m loving it.”

Brian didn't like talking about his personal life, not in general and especially not with his students, mainly because he wanted to keep their relationship as professional and school based as possible, but also because he wasn’t too good at expressing emotions and feelings, and he didn't like when people would try to read him and figure him out regardless.
He wasn't even good at that with his ex wife, who he’d been married to for over ten years before he found her in bed with one of his colleagues on a cold and rainy September evening as he got back home from school. He’d been utterly devastated and his faith in women and people in general had crumbled before him, but he had tried to bottle all of his sadness up and not let anyone else suffer from it. Especially not his daughter, the only good thing to come out of his terrible marriage (it hadn’t always been terrible, of course. The first few years were some of the best of his life and then when Emily had come along he thought it wouldn’t get any better than that, but he didn't like to remember the good times considering how little his ex wife seemed to have cared about them).
Thinking back on it, he probably made a mistake when he proposed to Chrissie, but he really thought they’d be good for each other in the long run and he wanted his parents to be proud of him for once. They had never been, not when he got his PhD in astrophysics, not when he invited them to go see him play with his band and not when he first introduced them to their niece, so he should have just given up from the beginning, but that wasn't like him. They would much rather find something to complain about in everything he did rather than support him and love him like parents should, and because of that he was ready to give his daughter all the love he’d been lacking from his relationship with his parents and his marriage. When Chrissie left them, he had to learn how to be a dad and a mom, he had to learn how to manage his life at home and the one he had at school, how to balance all his duties and how to take care of the most precious creature he’d ever laid his eyes on, but it wasn’t an easy task and it took a toll on him, especially when she was very little, when he didn’t know what to do as she started crying or when she wanted her mommy, and he didn’t know what to tell her, so he just put on a wig and pretended to be a woman to make her laugh and to stop his own heart from aching.  The little girl was like a carbon copy of him and even though his ex wife had turned out to be a cheater, there was no doubt in his mind that Emily was his own flesh and blood, she had the same dark and thick hair that Brian himself didn't know how to tame (and he got upset when she would ask him to braid it for her and he couldn't do it, although she always assured him that it was okay) and the same curiosity as her dad, which got her in trouble every once in a while, but he was so proud and encouraging of her personality so it didn't really matter what anyone else had to say. He really loved the little girl more than he’d ever loved anything in life, so he was trying to learn a healthy way to cope with his emotions, mostly for her sake but also for his own.
So when he found himself in front of a sobbing Y/N, his paternal side came out without him even realizing as he gently sat her down on his chair and offered her a tissue to dry her tears with.
“Hey, hey, it’s fine, no need to cry, everything is okay, I promise” she nodded at him, but still couldn't stop herself from being emotional, she’d been bottling up her frustration for so long and now it was all downing on her.
“I’m sorry I raised my voice at you Y/N, can I get you anything? A glass of water?” He asked as he franticly ran his sweaty hands on his jeans out of nervousness, but she was too busy thinking about how he’d just called her by her first name to notice anything weird about his attitude. Her name sounded so sweet coming from his lips, and she was so used to being Miss Y/L/N that the change felt almost comforting to her in a way.
“No, I’m fine Mr. May, thank you, I’m sorry for being an emotional mess, I didn't mean to break down like this”
“Brian” he softly spoke after letting her wipe away her tears with a napkin he’d given her.
“Excuse me?”
“You can just call me Brian. I mean, lecture’s over and it’s just me and you so you can call me by my first name. If you want to, of course. Or you can just stick to Mr. May, it’s fine either way” he was getting sorta flustered thinking that he might have suggested something that overstepped a boundary, and it was absolutely adorable for her to watch.
She was perplexed, but loved the idea of being on a first name basis with him, it made her feel special and she wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not, but the crush she’d been developing on him prevented her from thinking completely straight, all she could focus on was how incredibly gorgeous he looked just wearing a plain white shirt and jeans and how lucky she was to be in his presence.
“Alright Brian, I’m so sorry for causing a scene, I’ll just go now, I have homework to finish, you know” she joked as she stood up from the chair and started collecting her jacket and schoolbag.
“Wait Y/N, sit back down I’m not done with you” his tone was much light hearted than before but he still needed to talk to her about some serious issues, and he wanted her to understand that.
“Yeah, right, sorry, go on”
“Stop apologizing Y/N, you’re gonna be just fine” he could tell that she was still on edge around him, so he tried his best to act friendly (not that he could ever be very intimidating, but still) and lower his voice for her.
“So, I have noticed that lately something seems to be up with you, and I’m saying this in the least offensive way possible. I mean you used to ace each test and answer all my questions in class and always have your homework done even before it was due. I literally had to stop you from answering the questions before your classmates had a chance!” They both laughed at the memories of all the times Y/N wanted to show off and get noticed by Brian, knowing the best way to do so was to be impressively smart and raise her hand multiple times during class.
“What is going on? Can you tell me about it? Talk to me, I’m your professor but I’m still a human being and I can try to understand you. We can work through this” His dark brown eyes had grown softer since the beginning of their discussion and she found herself wanting to stare into them for as long as she could, but at the same time it was hard to keep eye contact, she felt ashamed of her actions and didn't want him scrutinizing her.
“I honestly wish I had an answer Brian. I don’t know why I’ve been doing so bad lately, at some point I got lost and started to struggle and couldn't grasp the concepts we were covering in class, but I figured I could get back on track by myself y’know so I never asked for any help”
“Ah, yes, that’s where you went wrong love, you should have talked to me as soon as you noticed that some things I was talking about were not making much sense to you”
How did he expect her to be fine with him calling her love? Her heart was pretty much beating the living shit out of her ribcage and in that moment she knew she would never crave anything else in life as much as his voice calling her that.
“Did you ever consider getting a tutor?”
She snickered at his words, even the cheapest tutors available were more than she could ever even begin to afford, and there was no way in hell that her parents would help her out.
“Yeah, I did, but while the service offered by the headmaster is cheap, I’m afraid that it’s still more than I can afford. After all, I only work in the weekends and I barely make enough to make ends meet as it is.”
“What about your parents, Y/N? Don't you have someone who could help you with that? It is for your own good after all, and it’s an investment in your future education”
“I know that very well Brian, but you see, my parents and I don’t really see eye to eye”
Brian was somewhat shocked by her words, he knew that she was a hard working person and a good student, after all he’d gotten to see all her grades from that semester, so he wondered what exactly her parents didn't approve of about her, but he should have known better, he was always in the wrong according to his parents too.
“They don’t love the idea of me studying astrophysics, I guess they have sorta accepted it at this point because my other option was even less plausible to them, but there's just no way I can ask for their help, they already think they're doing too much to support me and I’d never hear the end of it. Also, if they knew I was struggling I’d be in deep shit” Y/N realized that using that kind of language around Brian was probably not the wisest choice and she wanted to apologize immediately, but he looked deep in thought and unfazed by her words, so she let it go.
He knew what the girl was talking about, he’d had to go through similar things growing up and he remembered how much those things affected him, especially as a young man who was still unsure of what his place in the world would be.
He recognized the look on her face, he’d seen it in the mirror many times before and he felt compelled to do something for her, something that could restore her faith in adults and remind her that although some days it might feel like the whole world is against you, there's still someone out there willing to believe in you and cheer you up.
“Alright Y/N, I’m about to offer something to you that I have never offered anyone before, at least not since I have started my career, and I’m not quite sure I should even be asking you this, but would you.. maybe like me to help you out?”
“Help me out?” She was confused to say the least, she didn't even know why he was being so secretive about whatever kind of help he was offering, but she was intrigued.
“Yeah, with your coursework and stuff. I could essentially tutor you, free of charge of course” he tried to hide his nerves by offering her a gleaming and charming smile, but he was secretly scared she would call him names and never talk to him again after that, he wouldn't even blame her.
On the other hand, Y/N was quite content with his proposal, her heart dancing around in her chest and doing cartwheels whenever she raised her head to look at him and found his slim figure leaning on the desk with one hand in the back pocket of his jeans and the other one gently scratching his unshaved face. She wished she could reach out and do that too.
“Have I made this uncomfortable? I’m so sorry Y/N just pretend I never said-”
“I’d love it if you could do that for me” she didn't even realize that she’d taken so long to answer although her mind was made up the second he spoke.
“You- really?” A youthful and genuine sparkle in his eye caught her attention and made her smile back at him.
“Yeah, it would be irresponsible for me to give up such an opportunity. It is very kind of you to offer that Brian, thank you”
“You’re very welcome, Y/N, anything to help you gain your interest back, I know you can go far and I fully believe in you, so if I can help you out in any way I’m more than happy to do so”
His words sounded a bit too friendly to be coming from a professor having a regular conversation with one of his students, but Y/N stopped herself before she could read too much into it, knowing that path only led to self destruction and heartbreak. He was just trying to help a student in need, he would have done it with anyone else in her situation.
“Would you like to start on Monday? Maybe take some time this weekend to go through the last few topic we’ve covered and make a list of the things you don’t understand so we can go over them together, okay? We can meet after class in my office, so from 5 to 6, would that work for you?”
“It would work perfectly, thank you again, I really don't know what to say right now”
“No need to say anything, I’m happy to make this work. Just... maybe don't tell too many people about this. I mean, we know there’s nothing sketchy going on, but some people might twist it and-”
“Our little secret is safe with me, my lips are sealed” she teased and grinned at a very flustered Brian, he didn't need to be thinking about her lips right now. She put on her jacket and grabbed her backpack then started walking to the door.
“See you on Monday Mr. May” she found that she missed calling him that after all. She pulled out a cigarette from a pack and looked for the lighter that she always lost in her huge bag filled with books and notes and bobby pins from God only knows how long ago.
“Yeah, I’ll see you on Monday. Oh, and Miss Y/L/N?” She turned around to him with a questioning look as he pulled out a yellow colored lighter from one of his pockets and handed it to her.
“Smoking kills, you should quit”

The Hargreeves Case
Chapter 2
Muttering to himself, Diego sat himself down at his desk as he started arranging all the information he had on what used to be his murder case like an angry teenager told to go to his room. Chuck, sitting across from him, watched his friend in slight amusement at the less than pleased detective.
“So…” he started, with Diego not looking up from what he was doing. “You met the Captain’s new assistant.”
“Don’t get me started with that little shit.” Diego snarled. “You know she called you T’Challa? I mean he isn’t even African-American, he’s African. The actor is African-American.” at this Chuck raised an eyebrow.
“For someone who says superhero movies are bullshit you sure know your Marvel.” he said, Diego ignored him. “I’d watch the names you call her though, especially in front of the Captain, considering she’s his niece.”
At this news Diego fumbled with the folder he was arranging, all the files and unfinished paperwork of a stagnant case falling to the floor. Before picking it up he gave Chuck a wild look of disbelief saying, “S-she’s what?!”
“Uhh… the Captain’s niece? Apparently, his brother begged him to let her work here knowing he was looking for an assistant. Probably knows she’s got an attitude since he told everyone to be patient with her.” Chuck affirmed.
“Everyone? When was this announced?” Diego questioned.
“This morning at the briefing room. You might have dozed off like you usually do.” Chuck said nonchalantly.
“Ugh.” Diego sighed as he bent down to pick up his files when a pair of feet passed by and nearly stepped on one of the files he was picking up. “Hey!” he exclaimed, looking up to see that same assistant they were talking about still on her phone.
She paused but didn’t look up or turn to look at the guy who just “hey”-ed her. “Oohh sorry, are those important? Wait, I don’t care.” she said before starting to move again to wherever she was going. “If those files are so important don’t go around dropping them, Detective Dickhead.” she shouted on her way for everyone in the precinct to hear.
Diego was fuming and when he caught Chuck trying to stifle a chuckle he gave the man a death glare. Meeting those venomous eyes for a second, Chuck cleared his throat and said, “She’s quite the handful.”
“Handful doesn’t even begin to cover it.” Diego muttered as he put his files back all together. Standing up and passing by Chuck’s table he slammed the files on his desk, startling him a bit. “Your handling Morgenthau now. Captain’s orders.” he said before walking away.
“And where are you going?” Chuck called after.
“Getting coffee. Headache hasn’t gone away.” Diego responded before walking out from Chuck’s view.

Stepping into the pantry Diego was greeted with the sight of the Captain’s assistant holding the carafe and looking back at it back and forth with the coffee maker like it was some advanced technology. Not saying anything, Diego folded his arms and leaned on the doorway, curious to see what she was up to.
Not noticing him by the door, the assistant motioned to the sink about to fill up the carafe with water, thinking that was how you were supposed to brew the coffee.
“You know for someone with a smart mouth you sure are a pro at brewing coffee.” Diego said sarcastically just as she had started filling up the carafe with water. Jumping at the sudden sound of someone else’s voice she nearly dropped it in the sink but the jolt splashed some water on her shirt.
“Jesus Christ! Ugh, fuck.” she exclaimed, turning off the faucet and setting the carafe down beside the sink before turning to see who had just rudely interrupted her perfect coffee making. Seeing it was the same guy who jolted her awake with door drama she rolled her eyes. “Great, it’s Detective Dickhead.”
Fighting the urge to to call her a string of nasty names, Diego instead responded with, “Are you done? I’d like to make my cup of coffee.”
“Well too bad, Detective. Because the Captain wants coffee too and I can’t figure out this piece of shit.” the assistant said with a sarcastic smile as she picked up the carafe, still semi-filled with water, and walked back to the coffee machine. “He just can’t settle for instant coffee or Starbucks.” she muttered to herself.
About to put the carafe back in the coffee machine, Diego just had to stop her before she does any damage and the whole precinct is deprived of coffee because some stupid assistant didn’t know how to use it. “Okay, wait--” he started before the assistant put her finger up.
“Ah, ah, ah.” she said. “I don’t need your help, Detective Dickhead. There’s probably a YouTube video on how to use this thing…” she continued pulling up her phone from her pocket.
“Call me Detective Dickhead one more time you little--” Diego started to seethe before being interrupted again, this time by the Captain himself.
“Monica.” Captain Lee started, standing in the doorway now next to Diego. Noticing the other man he gave a curt nod before greeting him with, “Detective.”
Clearing his throat and straightening up Diego greeted back, “Captain.”
The assistant flashed the Captain a fake sweet smile. “Uncle Gwimmy.” she said with a mocking childish tone.
Diego could see the Captain’s expression tighten as he was also fighting the urge to tell off his niece. “You will address me as Captain Lee as long as we are both in this precinct.” he said patiently, but with a slight edge.
“Whatever.” the assistant muttered in response.
“Just checking to see if you didn’t have any problems preparing that coffee I asked for 20 minutes ago.” said the Captain.
“Sorry, Captain. I sorta just got here after browsing through 10 minutes worth of looking through cute dachshund pictures on Instagram and spent another 10 minutes trying to figure out how to use this.” as she explained she held up the carafe, still so wrongly filled with water. “Because as you know I’m more of a no nonsense instant coffee or get someone else to do my coffee like someone at Starbucks kind of girl.” she finished.
“Monica, I’m going out on a limb letting you work here at your father’s request. But if you’re going to keep up with your spoiled, entitled attitude I won’t hesitate to assign you into mopping floors instead of sitting behind a desk.” Captain Lee said as he was slowly approaching his niece, who seemed to have removed the smug look on her face and actually looked like she was shrinking.
“So while you are here working as my assistant, you will come to work dressed in proper office attire - no sneakers, no shirts of some random rock band, you can wear jeans as long as you have a collared top - address me appropriately, address my officers and my detectives appropriately, and do what I ask you to do - including, but not limited to, getting my coffee.” there was a short pause before he continued.
“I won’t have any rumors going around the precinct about how Captain Lee let some unqualified, incompetent little brat fill in as his new assistant just because she was his niece. That is an order. Are we clear, Monica?” he finished.
Swallowing on what she felt like a ball stuck in her throat, Monica replied with a meek, “Yes, Captain.”
“Good. Detective.” turning his attention back to Diego who was silently and awkwardly watching the entire thing, Captain Lee made a small request. “Perhaps you can teach my new assistant how to use the coffee maker.”
“Umm…” Diego started, he’s seen the Captain’s scary side so many times yet it’s still able to run a chill down his spine seeing it in action. “Y-yeah, yeah, sure. I’ll handle it, Captain.” he said, probably nodding his head a little too much.
“Excellent. I’ll leave the two of you to it. Remember, I like my coffee a little creamy, but not too creamy.” Captain Lee said.
“Got it, Captain.” Diego responded with an awkward smile as the Captain nodded to the both of them before leaving. There was an uncomfortable silence as Monica was avoiding Diego’s gaze after being roasted by her uncle right in front of him. “So uhh… Monica…?” he started and she looked up at him, the look in her eyes as sharp as the knives he was carrying.
“Okay, let’s get this straight. My uncle’s an ass but yeah since my dad was literally on his knees asking to put me here in the middle of all these cops I guess I owe him for at least not making me a janitor.” she said, her tone tight like she was trying to fight back angry tears. “But that doesn’t mean I have to be nice to everyone here. I’ll do my job but I won’t kiss your asses.”
No one’s asking you to kiss their ass, you’re just being a bitch. Diego thought to himself, trying not to roll his eyes out of pity. Instead he put his hands up like he was about to be arrested. “All right, well, Captain ordered me to help you with the coffee maker, so that’s what I’m going to do. First off…” approaching Monica, he took the carafe from her hands and headed to the sink. “This is not where you put the water.” he said as he poured the water out and, using a paper towel, wiped it down.
Diego ended up being the one preparing the coffee while he let Monica observe in silence, and miraculously she was actually paying attention and not looking through her phone. After filling up the right places with water and coffee beans, the machine started dripping sweet-smelling coffee thanks to him.
“That’s going to take like about 5 or so minutes to drip enough coffee for the Captain. There’s some fresh milk in the fridge with the Captain’s name on it. Mix it while you pour some in and stop when it starts becoming light brown.” he said, now leaning on the counter with the coffee machine between him and Monica.
“Thanks. Think I know what to do next time.” Monica said with a shrug. There was silence again as the two of them just stood there watching the coffee machine. “Aren’t you supposed to go back to your desk solving cases or something?” she said, unable to stand that Diego was still standing there.
“Well, if you can remember before Captain Lee walked in here to put you in your place, I wanted a cup of coffee myself.” he responded with an edge.
“Of course you do, want me to prepare yours for you as well like this precinct’s little slave, Detective?” Monica said with a scoff. “Cops…” she muttered.
“Think I can make my own coffee, thank you Monica.” Diego said, narrowing his eyes to try and tone done the iciness in his tone.
“God I hate that name but I hate you too so it’ll just be gross to tell you my nickname.” Monica grumbled, mostly to herself though since they were in close proximity Diego could still hear everything she was saying. “So, Detective since I can’t exactly call you Detective Dickhead anymore because of ‘Captain’s orders’.” as she said that she mockingly gestured quotation marks with her hands while rolling her eyes. “Guess I should get your proper name.”
His nerve ticked a bit at hearing Detective Dickhead again but he decided to digress, introducing himself instead, “Hargreeves. Detective Diego Hargreeves.” at this he could see Monica’s eyes suddenly grow wide and, if he was seeing right, she may have even paled a bit.
“H-Hargreeves?”

A New Home - Theo Raeken
Summary: Takes place during season 6 episode 12. You find out Theo has been sleeping in his car and try to help.
Word count: 3,062
Author’s note: I kinda feel bad for Theo. Yeah, he killed Scott but then he got dragged to hell by his dead sister so... he’s sorta suffered. There will be a part 2. I have no chill so this is extra long and I couldn’t figure out how to finish it just yet. Also, this answers question I had like: What is Theo eating? What’s he doing about clothes? Werewolves need money too
Masterlist
Tumblr media
It was late, or early depending on who you asked. There was only one week before you went off to college and you were hoping to enjoy your last few days of summer. But this was Beacon Hills and the town had other plans in mind. Scott and Lydia were already supposed to be at school, but due to one of Lydia’s premonitions they stayed behind. Stiles was already away in Virginia and you were more than ecstatic for your spastic friend. At least one of your friends managed to get out before everything went to hell again. You promised yourself you would get out too. There was a university two hours away that had a scholarship with your name on it.
Besides your car, the road you were driving on was empty. You were about 10 minutes from your house when you passed an old wore down building. You saw one of the deputy’s cars parked and a familiar looking truck. As your car pulled up closer, you realized whose truck it was: Theo’s.
After the ghost rider situation got resolved you hadn’t seen much of Theo. Actually, you hadn’t seen Theo since then. Honestly, you thought he left town. There was nothing keeping him in Beacon Hills. You decided to see what was going on, so you pulled over.
Deputy Grey was standing at Theo’s window talking to him. With all the supernatural activities in Beacon Hills and Stiles’ dad being the Sheriff, you and the pack spent a lot of time at the station so you knew a few of the deputies. You could see Theo sighing and rolling his eyes from his open window as you got out of your car.
“Hey Deputy Grey, how are things going?”
“Y/N, go back to your car and go home.”
“That’s not very friendly Grey. I just wanted to check on my friend Theo here.”
“Friend,” Theo questioned. He hadn’t talked to you in months and now here you were calling him your friend.
“Yeah, so what’s going on,” you turned at looked at Deputy Grey with a fake smile on your face.
“Y/N, go home-“
“Deputy, I’m sure Sheriff Stilinski would love to hear about what I saw you doing while you were supposed to be patrolling last month.”
Deputy Grey coughed a few times nervously before he spoke. “That’s not necessary. All your friend has to do is find somewhere else to sleep tonight and we can all go about our business.”
You scrunched up your face confused, “somewhere else to sleep?” You turned to look at Theo, “Theo, have you been sleeping in your car?”
“It’s nothing. Don’t worry about it.” Theo tried to play it off. He didn’t want you knowing about his current living situation.
“Actually, this is the second time I’ve had to ask him to move his car.”
“Thanks,” Theo replied sarcastically.
You looked at Theo with sadness in your eyes. You felt horrible. Theo must have been living in his car since Liam brought him back. If Stiles were here, he would probably say Theo deserved it. He did kill Scott after all. But he helped with the wild hunt. And he helped protect Liam from getting taken. Damn you good conscience.
It was silent for a few seconds before you sighed and spoke again. “Don’t worry Deputy Grey, I’ll take care of it. Just go back to patrolling the area.”
The deputy looked between you and Then then made his way back to his car. You slipped your hands in your back pockets while you shifted your weight from your right to your left foot.
“Why didn’t you tell anyone, Theo? We would have helped you.”
“Would your friends really have helped, Y/N? They hate me.”
“They don’t hate you. Not really.” Even as the words left your mouth you knew Theo was right. “Well, define hate.”
“You know they don’t like me. I killed Scott. I put Lydia in a catatonic state. I pulled your pack apart. Why would you guys want to help me?”
“Okay, maybe everyone wouldn’t want to help you.”
“Like Stiles and Malia.”
“Exactly those two,” you agreed. “But you could have called Scott.”
Theo put his key in the ignition, starting up his truck. “Don’t worry about me, Y/N. Just forget this happened.”
You slammed your hand over the steering wheel stopping Theo from leaving. “I’m not going to forget this. You mentioned all the bad stuff you did but what about the good? You saved Liam from getting taken from by the wild hunt. And you helped Scott fight the ghost riders and that Nazi werewolf. If there’s one thing I’ve learned being in Scott’s pack its forgiveness. You saw firsthand how Scott worked with Deucalion, and he brought a whole alpha pack to town to kill the pack. And Peter Hale killed his own niece and we still tolerate him. Sometimes.”
Theo’s eyes searched your face. He couldn’t understand why you were here trying to convince him he was worth helping. Even when Theo was trying to tear Scott’s pack apart, he could tell there was something special about you. You probably experienced the least of Theo’s rage in the pack. Maybe it was because you were human, but so was Stiles. He just couldn’t find it in himself to hurt you.
“Okay,” Theo said.
“Okay?”
“You can help me.”
You pulled your hand back to rest beside the other on Theo’s rolled down window. “You’ll let me?”
“Yeah.”
“Good,” you nodded your head. “So, I don’t exactly have a plan yet. Give me a second to think.” You turned your head looking out into the distance trying to come up with an idea.
Theo couldn’t help but notice how beautiful you looked in deep thought. You were nibbling on your nail trying to come up with a place for him to sleep, and Theo had honestly never seen anything so perfect in his life.
Theo was staring at you thinking when you suddenly turned towards him and yelled “I got it.” He tried to play it off like he hadn’t just been staring at you for the last few minutes.
“Okay, so this will only work for tonight until I can come up with something better. It’s too late for me to try anything else.”
“Alright, what’s the plan?”
“Don’t shoot down my idea until you hear the whole thing alright?”
“Okay.”
“So, you need a place to sleep that isn’t your car. Just for tonight, we can leave your truck at Derek’s loft. No one’s there and if Deputy Grey see’s your truck again at least he won’t find you sleeping in it.”
“So where am I going to sleep?”
“My house.”
“Your house?”
“Just tonight. My parents should both be asleep and they get up early to go to work. They won’t even know you’re there. Then we can figure out the rest tomorrow.”
“I don’t know if this is a good idea.”
You raised your hand in defense. “No. You are not arguing with me on this. It’s already late and I’m tired. And you don’t want to get on my bad side when I’m tired.”
“Alright. Alright. But just for one night.”
“Don’t worry. I don’t need you in my house for any longer than that. Now, get ready to follow me to Derek’s Loft. Then you’re going to ride with me back to my place.”
After a slightly awkward car ride later, you and Theo were at your house. You slowly opened your front door, careful not to wake your parents. Theo followed you as you creeped up your stairs to your room. Your focus was on the view in front of you so you didn’t see Theo watching your butt as you took each step.
You opened the door to your room then quickly shut it behind you and hit the lock. The last thing you needed was your Mom walking in and seeing a boy sleeping in your room. You tossed your purse down on the bed then went to your closet and grabbed your spare sheets.
“Alright,” you said as you laid the sheets on the floor. “You’re going to sleep here for tonight.”
Theo just looked at you not believing what he was witnessing. He was going to sleep in your room. Beside your bed.
“Don’t look at me like that Raeken. I would have set you up in the guest room, but all of my dorm stuff is in there. You can’t even see the bed with all my junk. The bathroom is right there if you need it. I’m going to shower then go to sleep.”
You went to your dresser and grabbed your pajamas. Most of the time you slept in an oversized t-shirt, but with your current roommate, you thought it was best to wear real pajamas.
Before you closed your bathroom door, you peaked your head around to tell Theo one more thing. “And no funny business Theo. I don’t need this coming back and biting me in the ass.”
“I promise I’ll behave,” Theo replied sitting on his makeshift bed on the floor. “And thanks, Y/N.”
“You’re welcome.” You smiled softly before you closed the door.
The next morning, your parents were long gone on their way to work by the time you woke up. You were never an early riser. Theo on the other hand had been up for quite some time. Since he was a guest in your house, he couldn’t just rome around. He sat on his makeshift bed on your floor looking around. He looked at all the photos on your walls with you and the pack. There was one with Lydia, Allison, and you at a school dance. Another one with you and Liam after a lacrosse game. Then his eyes landed on a photo of you between Scott and Stiles. You were in the middle of the two boys with a huge grin on your face with both boys kissing each check.
Theo couldn’t help but be a little jealous. He wasn’t just jealous because they were kissing you, but because you they could call you a friend. You were only helping him because you felt sorry for him. He didn’t have anybody.
You rolled over in your bed catching Theo’s attention. He thought you looked gorgeous. There was something different about seeing you first thing in the morning. There wasn’t any makeup on your face and your hair was pulled back. It was one of the few times you were at peace. He even thought the little bit of drool coming out of your mouth was cute.
When you finally woke up, you got up to make sure your parents were gone. You knew they had work, but with Theo in your house you were paranoid and couldn’t risk anyone finding out. You stayed in your pajamas as you cooked breakfast for you and Theo. You always said breakfast was the most important meal of the day and in order for you to figure out what to do with Theo, you needed a full stomach to think on. Theo sat at the kitchen counter while you flipped the pancakes. Once again, he just stared at you in amazement. Most people wouldn’t have thought much of someone making them breakfast, but Theo hadn’t eaten a good meal in months. He thought the world of you now and all you did was give him a place to sleep for the night and some food.
You turned around and slid a pancake on the plate in front of Theo. You grabbed your plate, syrup, and orange juice, and sat next to Theo.
“So,” you began speaking. “I was thinking I can’t just find you a place to stay. Like, you need money and stuff,” you said while chewing. “What have you been doing for food and clothes?”
“I’ve been getting by,” Theo answered pushing a piece of his pancake around on his plate.
You looked up and squinted at him. “hmm… that’s not a real answer. But,” you pointed at him with your fork, “that tells me everything I need to know. I’m going to get you a job.”
“What?”
You took a sip of your orange juice before speaking again. “There’s this saying my grandma used to say. ‘If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.’”
Theo just looked at your curious, so you decided you should elaborate on your grandma’s quote.
“All it means is that I can’t just help you find a place to sleep. That’s not going to do you much good if you can’t support yourself so you can eventually get your own place and feed yourself. With that in mind, I have an Uncle that owns a hardware shop. It’s pretty small but maybe he can help.”
“You’d do that for me?”
“Well, I already let you sleep in my room. I don’t see how me helping you get a job is any different.”
“Thanks, Y/N.”
“Don’t thank me just yet. I still have to talk to my Uncle first and see if he even needs to hire someone.”
You two sat in silence eating the rest of your breakfast for a few minutes before you thought of something. You scrunched up your face as you thought. “Thinking about it, the only werewolf I know that’s had a job is Scott. And I’m not sure that counts because he worked at the clinic before he was turned. But Derek and Peter don’t have jobs. And I doubt Deucalion had a job when he came here ruining everything.”
Your thought process was interrupted by your phone going off. Scott needed your help with the new supernatural problems going on, so you would have to leave Theo at your house.
“I have to go deal with some pack business, but I’ll be back later. I’ll talk to my Uncle before I come back. I have an idea for your living situation, but I need to make sure it’s doable before I say anything. I don’t want to get your hopes up.”
“My hopes haven’t been up in months, so you should be fine.”
“Just stay in my room until I get back. My dad gets off around 5 and my mom gets off at 7. You should be fine, but just use your super hearing before you decide to use the bathroom or go to the kitchen, okay?”
“I think I can handle it.”
Theo was listening to your feet hit the floor as you walked to your room. The door slammed open and you saw Theo sitting at your computer desk.
“Come on, Theo. I found the perfect place, and my dad is going to be home soon. We need to leave before he gets here.”
Theo got up from his spot and followed you to your car.  A short ride later, you were pulling up next to Theo’s truck.
“Am I supposed to follow you there in my truck,” Theo asked.
“Just follow me.” You smiled over at Theo.
The original chimera followed you up the stairs leading to Derek’s loft. You pulled out a key from you bag and unlocked the door. You slid the big metal door open revealing the loft to Theo.
“Tada,” you said arms showing off the loft like Theo had just won a prize on the Price is Right.
“Tada what?”
“This is where you’re going to stay.”
“I’m staying here?”
“Yeah,” you said walking in. “Derek hasn’t been here in over a year. This place is just going to waste.”
“Why didn’t you want to tell me about this earlier,” Theo asked following you into the loft.
“Well, I didn’t have a key,” you looked away from Theo a little embarrassed. “I had to swipe it from Scott’s key ring.”
Theo smirked. There were worse things you could do than swipe a key from someone. But you were a good girl and Scott was your alpha. That, plus the fact you were doing all of this for him made him more attracted to you.
“Won’t Scott realize its missing?”
“He would… if I didn’t make a copy and put the original back on Scott’s key ring,” you answered smiling back at Theo.
“Beautiful and conniving.” Theo smiled at you and you blushed lightly. You shook you head when you realized what was happening. You were just helping Theo. You couldn’t be blushing at his words.
“Um, here’s a copy for you, and I have one as well.”
You stopped midway as you were handing Theo the key and looked him straight in the eye. “I’m trusting you, Theo. If Scott and the other found out about this-“
“They won’t,” Theo interrupted.
You stared into Theo’s blue eyes for a few moments before you spoke again. “I’m giving you another chance. Don’t make me look stupid.”
“I won’t,” Theo said barely above a whisper. Both you and Theo’s hands were gripping the key. You were a little scared that trusting Theo would come back and bite you in the butt. But the way he was looking at you now silenced that little voice in your head telling you not to trust him.
You let go of the key and slowly walked away from Theo. “Alright. So you’ll be staying here until you can get a place of your own. Oh,” you yelled and turned to face Theo, “and I talked to my Uncle. He didn’t really need any help but I convince him to give you a job. It’s just part time, but at least it’s something.”
“I- I don’t know what to say.” Theo was amazed you found a place for him to stay and a job.
“You can start with thanks.”
“Yeah, but you’re risking a lot to help me. Your friends don’t know what you’re doing. I’m staying in Derek Hale’s loft. This is worth much more than a thank you.”
“A thank you while suffice for now. And just don’t wreak Derek’s place. He may not be as mean as he used to be, but I’d rather not have him get mad at me for doing this.”
Theo just smiled at your kindness. “Thank you, Y/N.”
