Fic Finder/in The Mood For...
June 25th
~*~
1. can you find a yizhan fic where xz painter and have ex husband. Then met yb.
FOUND? You’re thinking of Encounter by Thetaintedblade. Terrific fic but they have removed from AO3
You can ask the author kimmy for the PDF. She removed encounter from AO3 because she made a real book out of the story just with different names. Here is the x URL
~*~
2. Hi! I was wondering if you could help me. I'm in the mood / looking for yizhan fics which depict their relationship through time. I'm looking for ones that aren't AUs, so they are both who they are fully. Bonus points for longer ones with slow burn and lots of mutual pining (or family introductions/hitting keypoints through the timeline!). It's also fine if they're still ongoing, as long as they are still being updated. Maybe someone out of the mods or readers can help me collect a few? Thank you in advance if you help me!
Yizhan Through The Years by jalpari (E, 471k, YiZhan, WIP, Slow Burn, Fluff, Eventual Smut, Friends to Lovers, lsfy/Switch YiZhan, Domestic Bliss, Marriage Proposal, Light angst, Slice of Life, Mentions of Real Life events)
We Are Made to Love by OverthinkingThis (T, 82k, WYB/XZ, quarantine, long-distance relationship, angst, misunderstandings, hurt/comfort, social media, happy ending)
Yizhan by Obsidian_Aurora (E, 1.2m, YiZhan, WIP, Slow Burn, Fluff, lsfy/Switch YiZhan, Smut, Light angst, Friend to lovers, Slice of Life, Mentions of Real Life events)
Desiderium by yellowchameleon (M, 184k, WIP, YiZhan, Texting, Getting Together, Slow Burn, like i mean, The Slowest Burn Ever, Fluff and Angst, Humor, Emotional Hurt/Comfort, Friends to Lovers, Mutual Pining, like So Much yearning, non-au) It‘s not finished but it‘s very long and fluffy. 🤗 I‘m enjoying it.

11/19/23 updates cpn 🎂🍦🍪
for some reason, today, both of them decided to share on their social media. for wyb, it’s his douyin. for gg it’s weibo + douyin. xzs also posted on their weibo. they didn’t even bother splitting it up like one will post in the morning and the other afternoon/evening. nope. it’s all in the same afternoon.
we were hoping for some 24 hr relay, but these gremlins are like nope. we will just post very closely to each other. for wyb it’s definitely a part of his homework completion. lol. and the fact that he is wearing something evisu related again. how many things did he do during this shoot? 😂 as for ZZ, it seems like he is trying to catch up too? ( douyin stuff are from yuguyao promotion ) nonetheless, we are happy to get stock content.
doing this made them both go on HS. i love seeing their names on HS for stuff like this. (?FYI for wyb it’s more of the “cross dressing” meaning switching clothes.)
now let’s see what else is there….
1. The same use of emojis as captions on there douyin posts as if they really have no time to think of even a word or line to use. lol. tho this kind of caption is not exclusive to them, it’s just nice to see them matching like this on the same day.
2. There are a couple of guesses on what they are “celebrating” today ; what could possibly be the reason for doing this specifically on the 19th.
(p1) it’s wyb’s 105th post on douyin. 10.5 which represents zz’s birthday, so it’s special. that’s why they both posted today. (p2) the day zz shared his japan trip. i think this doesn’t need any more explanation, japan trip cpn is notorious on this fandom. (
(p3 and p4) this one is kind of reaching but it’s one of those 2020 candies that i love and it happened around this time too. 11/18 - 11/19 it was speculated that they spent time together. for those who were here during that time, WYB shared a video (11/20) of him skating and his caption was like i wish i could go skating everyday and then the three dots. WYB loves skateboarding and i don’t doubt that he wishes he can play everyday, but the cpn-colored glasses is wondering if what he is really talking about is skateboarding. or maybe, maybe he was wishing he could spend time with GG everyday or more often. and the three dots, which in turtledom means i miss you just adds fuel to this CPN. The penguin photo was shared by XZ on 11/18 and it’s a piece that people are adding, it is making the heart gesture and could be because XZ is happy to be with WYB.
There is a CPN timeline from that period in 2020 so lemme just refresh people’s memories even if it’s totally irrelevant ( probably ) to this post. I love myself some cpn archaeology. 🔍
11/17 was luoyang opening ceremony so he was kinda busy here but they still got to spend time together. In hindsight, this is very telling, cause there was some heavy speculation that GG was present during Luoyang presscon. If he was there during the opening ceremony for the filming, he might have been introduced to select cast and crew. So it was easier for him to tag along for the press con before the official release cause he knows the people. 11/19 was the release of the wolf and WYB attended the chanel x vogue event. 11/22 GG released a douyin video and we CPN about the curtains and how it’s similar to one of Bobo’s. Again, hotel curtains are not the most reliable measure, i know, but that’s how CPNs work.
11/25, YBO posted alluding to the douban issue of downvoting works. basically manipulating data — look at YBO calling out this practice years before, they know how unreliable DB is. everyone knows. the point is, around this time, The Wolf was getting downvoted by antis.
11/29, an episode of TTXS was aired where WYB said “i can’t give up what i like”. A sentiment that is true in everything he does, from dancing to his other hobbies. No matter how hard it is and even if it seems like everything is against him, he will not give up. The same is true (probably ) with his relationships. 🤍 this episode was filmed 11/22 which was very close to when they allegedly spent time together so the feeling is there ( and there is a whole different cpn for that day too lol ).
In 2019, GG’s Bazaar promo was release where he said that he saw his love in a dream ( i don’t think this needs any explanation ) and 2021 they also posted around the same time and both are transitions.
This is all guess work, they could be posting for the simple reason of KPI or their studios scrambling to get their bosses to be visible online 😂😂😂 BUT THE POINT IS, there seems to be significant things happening during this time and always including 11/19 between them. ✨ It fits the pattern we have been seeing for years.
3. WYB’s 105th post on Douyin and GG’s 1050 post on Weibo. 🤡🤡🤡
4. The use of a light in their hands as an element to their post. For WYB it’s a transition to change clothes and for GGs it’s more of a sunshine/light.
They share the same brain cell. Lol. and BXGs are so good cause there is already an art for it.
5. I love how XZ was like i don’t wanna be doing this while filming the Douyin. goes to show what happens behind the scenes and how similar he & WYB are. in the video, XZ was asking his staff “is this viral?” and they respond with “really viral” and he proceeds to make faces like he can’t believe 🤣🤣🤣 If he only knew, the most random things go viral. and he probably didn’t want to do it cause it had the cute vibe to it.
Similar to WYB, he prefers the cool transitions and he is someone who will not be willing to do a douyin trend. Both of them would rather share things they love like photos of places or their hobbies.
The lyrics for GG’s video is:
oh no oh no i haven’t talked to my baobei
baobei, what are you doing?
muah are you there? are you asleep?
baobei, what are you doing?
why aren’t you replying?”
Going by the theme of the song, missing someone, his baobei who is not replying lol is this a shout out to WYB? 😅
Anyway, it’s being linked to WYB’s post. The whole transition with the phone light he is doing was said to be popular in 2021. There is a couple version, which means two people are doing it and the BGM used is a song i will still miss you.
youtube
Looking at the lyrics, I understand why he didn’t use it and went with the cool tune instead. It’s a bittersweet song and about missing because the couple grew apart. WYB still wants to match the missing theme but probably scrapped it cause GG’s is more on the cute type of missing someone. 🙃
6. Going back to the Japan Trip, their posts seem to echo that time. 11/19/2018.
From WYB’s use of his phone and the shot. To XZ’s most obvious posting on the same day and SAME TIME 🤯🤯🤯
THIS IS WHY JAPAN CPN WILL FOREVER BE RELEVANT!!!!!! Happy 5th anniversary i guess! 💟 Dude I can’t fuckin believe Xiao Zhan did this the fuck he is insane for this.
7. In usual turtle clowning fashion, some of em commented xz or wyb’s photo on their douyin. These might be buried now cause solos are doing the most to make sure the top posts are theirs.
-END.
Disclaimer: this is all CPN. meaning, it is interpretation/speculation from a cpf’s perspective and uses lots of symbolism and past events that are known and understood by cpn-inclined turtles. this is not the place to wash things cause again, it’s all cpn anyway. I don’t make these posts to be picked apart, it is for fun and to enjoy. Okay? Okay. If you wanna complain, do it on your own blog.
#yizhan#bjyx#there is no science here i’m just clowning like i always do#feels so good to go back to fandom#i have been so busy the past days and tired lol#THIS BECAME LONGER THAN EXPECTED CAUSE I CANT KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT LOL#Youtube

It’s one thing for CP fans to deal with homophobic idiots online… It’s another when it’s effecting them and making it EVEN HARDER to see each other 😢 This is the world they live in (that too many people have to live in)… And it’s sad to be reminded of that.
Sure, it was nice to have a giggle over Yibo being in Hengdian (where XZ was) over the holiday… But it seems to me that the guy who posted about it was more interested in getting attention from other fans than in doing what decent CP fans make a priority: protecting them.
We are continually reminded that a minority voice filled with vitriol and hate can be louder and more dangerous than those of love and hope. As much as we are always so desperate for any little hint of them being together, I really hope this was a reminder to our fellow turtles in China to be more careful… To keep the juiciest pieces of candy off main and in the group chats.
Because there would be nothing worse to me than a situation where they are forced out of the closet and all hell rains down 🥺 (Somebody that hates me but is a very good writer wrote a really good, devastatingly sad fic about a similar situation. When things like this happen and solos lash out, I always think about this fic and how potentially possible it is 😢)
It’s hard. It’s hard to watch the homophobia. And I don’t know what the answer is given the limitations of China. But I have seen progress made in the 4 years I’ve been in this fandom - in online interactions, in Chinese dramas, on social media. Change is slow - acceptance is slower. But I truly think XZ and WYB are changing hearts. And turtles are a big part of that. I just hope we can all be careful and keep them safe in the process.
#yizhan#bjyxszd#cpn#bjyx#I hate it when the toxic solos get crazy and lash out#imagine how hard these people make life for their neighbors and coworkers when they view same sex relationships like this#I just wish the world could be a kind place 😭

Why are people on Twitter saying that xiao zhan knew the title of wang yibo's new song before anyone else. What is your opinion on this?
It's not just on Twitter, it's being talked about pretty much everywhere turtles congregate.
Fake, fan fiction, CPN.
The whole thing actually started on Weibo - as almost all turtle content does, whether it's a gif or a candy or a theory or whatever.
In fact, 90% of turtle content you see on Twitter came directly from Weibo, and most of it isn't attributed to the original creator. Most people on international social media platforms (including Tumblr) are doing this. People just casually take the ideas, screen caps, art, theories, etc. of Weibo turtles and bring it into the international fandom without any attribution.
So if you see someone in the international fandom who seems to always have a lot of turtle content and none of it is ever attributed to someone on Weibo, most of it is probably not their original thoughts. They probably scooped that content from a C-turtle and are taking credit for themselves.
/rant
Anyway, this candy comes from a XZ Studio video post on GG's birthday that contained a caption, "Have you thought of a title yet?"
And on that same day there was a reblog of GG's birthday photo post that included the phrase, "万物可爱" which is the title of DD's new song.
(source)
From this turtles are clowning that GG knew the title before anyone else. But I think that's a pretty safe bet without these hints, isn't it? I mean, DD probably tells GG everything before anyone else hears of it.
Anyway, hope this helps.

Our Song S3: Commercial Break
While I work on editing episode 5, I've posted a special chapter on AO3, with all the Our Song-related stuff I saw (and bought) in China!
You can read it here on AO3 or below the cut:
First off, a literal word from our sponsor: I found a UBEST ad. For a country where a lot of the population is lactose intolerant, there are a lot of milk ads. I guess when a lot of your potential market is lactose intolerant you have to advertise your milk more heavily than here.
I very much wish I'd been able to see someone in concert while I was there, but nobody I could find happened to be playing either of the cities on the few days I'd be there (Joker played Beijing DAYS after I left! 😫). But I did see ads for Jam Hsiao coming to Shanghai in August:
Wait... Who tf is Jam Hsiao, you may ask? You'll find out in episode 5!
Thanks to a tip from marlo-noni on tumblr, I found two "idol stores" in the Shanghai Jing'an Joy City mall, which were ground zero for merch. These stores were about 75% K-pop, but there was a decent amount of merch for Chinese singers and actors, along with a few current cdramas.
Photo cards are very popular, little playing-card-sized random photos of celebrities, some of which look official and some of which look like selfies from their social media. You can buy these singly, or in packs of like ten, or in actual decks. I didn't buy any, but I saw some for both Wang Sulong and Joker Xue:
I also saw some for Zhou Shen, who was in Season 1 of Our Song, but I forgot to take a photo of those. The first store especially also had a ton of these 6"x18" double-sided banners. This was the only Liu Yuning merch I saw on my trip! There were a ton of these but I bought these two, LYN and Joker (photos show first one side and then the other):
In the second photo, the text on Joker's banner reads 你是我今生未完成的歌 (You are the unfinished song of my life), lyrics from his song 未完成的歌 (Unfinished Song) from his 2009 album of the same name. The text on LYN's banner reads 一束光 / 黑夜的2 (A beam of light in the dark of night 2). 黑夜一束光 is the name of one of the songs on his 2019 album 十.
I also bought this Joker Xue bookmark (front and back):
The first idol store was also where I got an ACTUAL PIECE OF OUR SONG MERCH! It's got Xiao Zhan, who was on season 1, not 3, which you can watch here (it says 2 but it's 1)—the store had a whole section for Xiao Zhan merch.
Honestly, I almost didn't notice it in with all the other Xiao Zhan stuff—I don't even remember him wearing this outfit, though apparently he wore it for some of the promotional photos like this one. I eventually noticed the Our Song logo, though. I have to wonder if I would have seen other Our Song merch around if I'd actually been in China while it was airing, or if this was only made because of XZ's popularity (as a singer, overall he's not nearly as big a star as some people they've had on the show, but among people who shop at idol stores he may be the biggest lol).
My white whale of this trip was to buy at least one actual physical CD from an artist I like, or at least someone I know of. I asked on multiple subreddits where I might be able to buy CDs in China, only to be told over and over again that Chinese artists don't release physical media anymore and nobody cells Chinese CDs. The closest thing I got to a real answer was someone who suggested a bookstore chain they thought might maybe stock CDs at some locations, but with the warning that they probably mostly or only sold western artists. This turned out to be the biggest bookstore chain in China (and run by the government, unsurprisingly); I went to at least a couple different locations as well as many other bookstores and not a single one had CDs.
Finally, a couple days from the end of my trip, I was looking for more idol stores in Beijing and had the idea to Google where to get K-pop stuff, since the idol stores were mostly K-pop (the idol stores actually did sell K-pop CDs, as did a couple other places I saw, but not a single Chinese CD). This is what finally led me to a blog post about places to get K-pop stuff in Beijing, including CDs, which mentioned the store Disc in the Chaoyang Joy City mall! (Joy City seems to be a big mall chain in China, I went to two different ones in Beijing on top of the one in Shanghai.)
Unfortunately, once I got inside there were signs saying no photos - I'm not really sure why, but I really didn't want to get kicked out so I didn't take any! Which is a shame, because talk about hitting the jackpot! The very first thing I saw when I walked in was a bunch of George Lam CDs, along with Hacken Lee (who was a senior in S1).
I have no idea how the discs were organized, honestly. I think maybe the first section was Cantopop, since George and Hacken both recorded mostly in Cantonese and there was also a lot of Wang Fei (who has never been on Our Song afaik but I have some of her songs, she's recorded in both languages). Then was clearly Mandarin stuff, and maybe vaguely sort of in alphabetical order but not very strictly? And maybe also by genre? There were no signs on the shelves that I could find explaining the organization, listing genres or anything.
I opened my notes app and made a note with "Where can I find these?" in Chinese along with a list of the artists all in hanzi, but thankfully the guy I found to help me actually spoke pretty good English. I still showed him the list because it just seemed easiest. He knew exactly which ones they had in stock and where to find them.
They had two of Penny Tai's albums, a couple from Wang Sulong, a bunch of albums from Da Zhangwei's band The Flowers, one Da Zhangwei CD/DVD, and a bunch of Joker Xue albums. (As an example of the weird organization, the Da Zhangwei album was shelved with the Flowers albums, which suggest genre but not alphabetical, and Joker's stuff was on an endcap in a totally different part of the store that I never would have found.) I wound up buying a Flowers double album and Joker Xue's latest, Countless (I already knew I loved the title track from this album):
I will not say how much I paid for these; let's just say that the Joker CD was somewhat reasonably priced while the Flowers CD, which was released in 1999 and this is probably a copy from then, cost way more than I was hoping to spend. 😬 But I have yet to find a single Flowers album on eBay or yesasia.com or even iTunes—the few Flowers songs I have in my playlist I've ripped from YouTube—so I bought it. The guy helping me actually handed it to me telling me it was their best album; I'd assumed he was trying to sell me the most expensive one but believe it or not this double album was actually the cheapest one they had! I forget which album it was but one of the Flowers CDs was going for 1000RMB ($137)!
Joker's album, Countless, cost a little more than I'd normally pay for a CD in the US, but when I got it home and finally opened it, it very much earned that price! I was not expecting it to be full of more merch. It's in a very nice grey box to start with, then on top there was a black envelope that, when I opened it, contained several index-card-sized black and white photos of Joker. Plus instead of just simple liner notes with lyrics, there was a full little photo book, with the lyrics on the smaller black half-pages in between:
Also! I could not get a photo of this, but I heard Hu Xia's song 那些年 (which you'll see him perform soon) in the wild! We were eating breakfast at a pastry shop in Beijing and they were playing it! What's really funny is that my son realized it at the exact same time I did—"Mom, this is a song from your playlist!"
Of course, Our Song merch wasn't all I was looking for in China—to see some of the other merch and ads I saw, keep an eye on my PG Goes to China tag on Tumblr; I made some posts while I was there but I'll also be posting several themed roundups over the next couple of weeks! I might even post a few photos of boring things like the Great Wall and Forbidden City.
I promise next time I will be back with more actual Our Song. Until then, here is 无数, the title track I love so much from Countless:

There is a famous YouTuber AvenueX, who mentioned about the dirtiness in the promotional tactics of the spring break films this year. Looking back, reminds me of the summer release of Jade Dynasty when the movie was badly attacked due to anti fans. So I can see why XZ stays away from this world.
Yeah anyone who's into Chinese social media would have seen this by now. But XZ's situation wasn't entirely similar. Let me explain. And I would rather fans not drag XZ in this messy world.
So the two big winners this season was "Wandering Earth 2" and "Man Jiang Hong" / Full Red River, and Man Jiang Hong now is the box office champion during the Spring Festival movie season in history.
The total with a cumulative box office of all of these films are now over 6.734 billion yuan (around 992M USD). Out if it, Man Jiang Hong is at 2.8 billion yuan, followed by Wandering Earth at 2.2 billion yuan. The third movie "Boonie Bears" has also crossed 1 billion yuan, and we still have nearly a whole month when these movies will stay in theatres.
With numbers like these, comes ugly promotional tactics. Fans of Wandering Earth 2 has reported back how their tickets were changed to Man Jiang Hong by the ticketing office. On top of this, WE2 also lost all its IMAX slots. There has also been reports of what they call "ghost screenings" midnight slots etc. MHJ team has now released a legal letter condemning all these rumors.
Where does Jade Dynasty come in? It was a online/TV movie made at a budget of 20 Million. Its box office total takings were 400 Million Yuan in the 18 days of its screening. For a TV movie, it did pretty well. But to compare it to the blockbuster movies with big names and big money isn't the right thing (some of the above movies were "made" at a budget of 500M). And the movie was released in theatres only when XZ became a huge hit from Untamed, hence the overall quality that is expected from a big screen viewing is missing.
But also at the same time, XZ also suffered from the huge baggage that comes from being an idol, the fan/anti fan fights, 1 starring in douban by haters and people who just in general terms, didn't like XZ who was a boy band member and getting popular froma BL drama landing a movie in theatres. Lots of jealousy afloated. Basically at that point XZ was just starting out, he or the movie didn't have the support system or PR budget to fight off or create any positive PR anywhere. And fans being fans didn't help in this case. If you notice, the downvoting in douban thing is something that traffic idols in general suffer from it.
Hence I really don't like getting Jade Dynasty stats during this period when there are really huge blockbuster films that are making good profits as expected. Its a bit like "setting ourself up" to get even more negativity flowing out way, and Jade Dynasty is a good benchmark for a TV movie only. One day if Xiao Zhan wants and if the time is right, he will do a film that's worthy of him. And at that time, he will have the proper PR, budget and support needed that will push the film to greater heights.

It's true that Yibo Official shielded Xiao Zhan's name and a yellow heart
I saw a big tumblr account and many bigger and smaller Twitter accounts questioning whether YBO even applied a "shield" to the above words and emoticons, thus accusing mtjjs of lying.
These bjyx accounts deliberately mislead their followers, who either believe uncritically in everything these accounts say and do not intend to check the truth of their words, or do not have access to the source, i.e. Weibo. It is true that Chinese bjyx know well that such a thing happened, which is why they use various substitutes when commenting.
For those who don't have Weibo, I prepared a short video - an overview of the initial comments on the said YBO post. Please note that bjyx's comments dated 16/01 contain yellow hearts and xz's name, while those dated 17/01 and newer do not. In the clip, I also check recent comments, which show the same trend.
Finally, I showed the existence of the Weibo post functionality - i.e. "shield".
International bjyx accounts are also trying to convince you that this ban/shield has something to do with spam, but it is actually a manual functionality of the platform, which means that the account owner manually enters specific words and emoticons to be banned/invisible. This is not an automatic "anti-spam" functionality. And you probably don't want to suggest that YBO didn't know what they were blocking 😉
As we can see at the end of the video, the phrase 博君一肖 was not banned - and here my guess is that they might have been afraid that using both characters of Yibo's name in the shielded frase could block the visibility of his name.
It's really sad and frustrating that even a clear declaration from YBO that they did not want comments to be spammed with bjyx attributes didn't stop some (many) bjyx from continuing the harassment.
One of my Twitter friends summed it up very well, so I'll quote her words:
For the record, if your ex acts like this on your social media accounts, it's clear grounds for restraining order. Any reasonable judge would grant it.
That's exactly what cpf are. Violent obsessive ex who can't get a clue after half a decade since breakup.

another xz photoset, another appearance from his trusty 380 yuan mini fan — from his (alleged) mortal enemy/rival — depends on who you ask. lol. he has some other fans in rotation that we see, but this one is truly a mainstay and seems like should always be captured in photos. it definitely holds some sentimental value, aside from the memories, i’d like to think it’s also because of the person who gave it to him.
as for this next cpn, i’m drawn to it because i like the idea of xz and his team choosing something significant for picture #8. it’s fine if you believe that the placement of photos or even what is chosen is purely aesthetic or random— it’s okay. i just personally like this one. it’s not even featuring zz’s face unlike all the other photos so it really stood out. the red and black? hello wei wuxian combo! it looks amazing don’t get me wrong. i understand why someone would pick this as a good photo to post on social media. a key thing you see is his pose, hand on his hip. which is known to be someone else’s favorite (unconscious most of the time) pose 😏

Hi! I've been browsing and read somewhere about some "boyfriend" that xz had in the past called Kyle. Is it true????
Hi Anon,
Fake, fan fiction, CPN.
There were rumors about GG dating a man during or shortly after his college years. There were photos of them together that could be seen as 'couple-ish' and some other evidence of them being especially close.
There were also rumors of him dating a woman, also with photos of them looking 'couple-ish' and other supposed evidence.
There were also rumors that he proposed to a woman at one point. These are based on pretty flimsy circumstantial evidence. For example, there is a photo of him in a jewelry store with a woman. The 'he was dating a woman' people claim he was shopping with his girlfriend for a ring (don't guys usually buy the ring themselves before proposing?), while the 'he was dating a man' people claim a friend was helping him shop for a ring for his boyfriend (and they claim there was proof of that posted on social media).
I don't think we can rely on either of these interpretations. It was so long ago, impossible to verify now, and there are a thousand possible reasons two people could be looking at rings - including the idea that he is helping her find a gift, or they were working on a school project together.
GG also mentions in interviews that his parents were pressuring him to marry (pretty much all people in China are pressured to marry), and in one he even talked about his parents buying him a home for his future marriage. People often run with this as further evidence that he was going to propose, but from what Chinese friends have told me it's not unusual for parents in China to buy a home for their son, long before he's even in a relationship.
Not only would any future hoped for engagement first require that he could provide a home for his family, but it's typical for Chinese families (and Asian families in general) to provide for each other in whatever way they can. If parents can afford to get their child a home or help them buy a home, they will. And as the parents age, they will move in with their child's family and be cared for at home by their children.
People will make claims and cook up stories that best support their narrative of who GG is. It happens on both sides of the gay/straight argument. I find all this so pointless.
Even the photos are inconclusive. GG is known to be huggy and affectionate with his friends. Whether he has his arm around a man or a woman, it says nothing about whether they are dating.
We should also remember that a lot of dating rumors - in fact, almost ALL dating rumors - are crafted by people trying to harm GG and DD. Even rumors from the past. So we should be ultra careful with those claims - gay or straight - and take them with a huge grain of salt.
Here's the bottom line as far as I'm concerned: GG and DD's dating history is irrelevant to their current life, and irrelevant to their relationship, and irrelevant to being a turtle. These stories can only ever be speculation and conjecture and theory. Nothing will ever be confirmed. So - from my perspective - it's a waste of time to even bother digging into it.
It's also - in my personal opinion - a bit off limits. Those events took place prior to his becoming famous. Others are free to form their own opinions, but mine is that it's really none of our business. I totally understand the curiosity, but it's just not something I'm going to go digging around for.
