I LOVE the concept, of Macaque and Wukong having a big family. Soo.... All the ideas I had in my head for their children, I'm putting here in order of Oldest to youngest

Will these characters become canon or not?? I dunno! Some already are! I dunno about the rest of them!! But they are cute, and I LOVE THEM.

and Qi Haoyu is 100% based off the "Destined One" in Black Myth: Wukong (NO SPOILERS! I HAVEN"T FINISHED THE GAME! I just love this concept of Wukong having a child that is basically him but all serious and doesn't talk. I don't even know if the Destined One is his child or not, or some clone?? Or descendant?? I dunno!

But here they are!

We got their names, powers, some fun facts, what the World refers to them as/their titles, and then what Macaque nicknames them cause he gives all of them the cutest nicknames~

via is a lop rabbit, i dont think there are curly furred rabbits with lop ears and also the neck fluff irl but pretend they are. i wanted to keep some of her silhouette in tact. her fur markings are like this

When I read Chase's chapter of Gathering the Dragons, I see some similarities in how Chase's mentor tried to bond with Chase and how Chase tries to bond with Omi! Is that deliberate on Chase's part?

It was definitely a deliberate writing decision on my part 🤣

But, in my mind, yes! Chase doesn’t have much experience when it comes to bonding with children so he essentially fell back on what worked on him!

These were my notes on what I wanted Chase to learn from his interactions with Xué

teaching someone something new is a great way to bond with them, especially if it’s something they can only come to you for and is a shared interest. (The monk in question was the scribe at the temple so, in his and Chase’s case: reading, writing, and scholarship)

Being persistent is important even in the face of reluctance.

small gestures of acknowledgment can go a long way

((((Long story short

Shancai was kidnapped by heavenly soldiers and brought to the celestial realm along with Shubao as she tried to rescue them but failed.

And while Liu Er chased after the two to rescue them, she ended up meeting Huang Xue, the seventh sister of Ying Yue. A strong and imposing general of northern China's armies with incredible power over ice and snow. She also has quite the short temper/patience.

She tried, and failed to bring Shubao to the Huang Manor to meet the rest of the family after getting into multiple altercations with Liu Er.))

((At one point while trying to escape, Liu Er and Shubao got caught by guards and had to escape using a portal device.

However, that portal led them to a rather haunting pocket dimension; one that is used as a permanent prison by heaven. Inside the dimension, it has a strange and terrible effect that causes people to slowly deform and lose both their mind and their own selves.

And Shubao learned this personally after trying to help someone only to realize there was no one left to help.))

((And while trying to escape said dimension, Xue arrived to rescue Shubao and kill Liu Er. And all in her armor and personal weapons, a pair of chui's said to be able to freeze entire armies solid.

Luckily, Liu Er prevailed and escaped with Shubao, much to Xue's dismay. And later on they were successful in rescuing Shancai and returning home...

To find out they had been gone for four months but otherwise everything was okay lol!))
