In general, he wasn't someone who enjoyed having his work interrupted, though the majority of his anger was hidden by the mask that he wore, those who worked closely with him seemed to tense at the sharp look that he'd shot in his visitors direction. They were trending on very thin ice. It seemed as though the Doctor was having one of his famous 'bad' days - judging by the messy state the examination room was currently in. "Yes? Do you need me for something?", he all but snapped, sighing as he placed aside a few test tubes to meet the others gaze, "This better be important".

                                "is your entire generation this stubborn? yeesh, take it easy, kiddo. we've got all day to finish this and you're gonna burn yourself out --- or worse, mess up and miss something important."

                                ugh. sasuke was the bad kind of edgey emo boy. the kind that sulked all day if one let them, not the kind that went out a did things. of course it wasn't like the two of them could just walk out onto the streets and not expect an uproar— but they could find something fun to do here, couldn't they?

                                "isn't there something you like to do except train? you can be strong and be fun too, you know." she sticks her tongue out at him. golden hues flicker to his weapon and she reaches out to grab it. "let me see that. can you even use this thing?"

                                “you’re gonna get so stressed you’re gonna die,” she casually retorts, plopping down beside him, kicking her legs up on the table. she fixes him with an amused glance, watching him sharpen his knife. dabi had brought sasuke in with him and though they hadn’t said much about their past, they were close. it almost made her jealous — she had never had anyone like that, even if dabi did train sasuke until he was bloody. “don’t you know you’re allowed to have fun? even tomura plays video games. you really can’t be that boring.”

Sasuke had been hoping that maybe his ‘boring’ response would of been enough to get her off his back… but that had clearly been wistful thinking on his part. The only sign of his displeasure and irritation at Toga plopping herself down alongside him was the deepening of his frown, but he doesn’t pause in his task to give her even a glance. He barely interacted with any of the other members of the league; partially because of the distance Dabi purposely kept between them.

He resisted the urge to roll his eyes, pausing in his motions to inspect his weapon. “ – I don’t care about all of that.  I have things i need to accomplish, and playing video games while I could be getting stronger sounds idiotic.” He doubted that she would carry his words back to Shiragaki, but his stomach clenches at the thought. No matter. “I don’t care if you think i’m boring. I don’t care about what you think about me at all, actually.”

leaned forward on his table, vicious toyed with the glass of alcohol in his hand, actively ignoring the eyes boring into him from another outdoor table. with a sigh, the raven raised his drink up, arm propped up by his elbow and he studied the liquid in the glass. “y’know, if ya wanna chat, there’s a chair right there.”

❝ The moment you arrived, they built you up; the sun was in your eyes — ❞ She paused for a moment, her brow furrowing. It was hard at times when she recalled the past, thinking about all the things she could have been, all the things she could or should have done differently. A curled fist raised to her chest, a barrier she hadn't raised since they were kids. She was uncertain if she should continue, to voice the things that were on her mind as she looked at him. He was back in the village, and surely that should have made her heart happy, but there was a sadness there too. A sadness at knowing how alone he must have felt, the anger and rage mixing with silent sorrow. 

Her gaze drifted away from his face, her lips parting with the anticipation of speech. ❝ You looked at death in a tarot card, and you saw what you had to do, but nobody knows you now. ❞ Her words were a whispered confession. He had been staring at the face of death for some time, and what did she do? She had professed her love when that surely couldn't have been what he needed back then. It had been selfish of her to do that, to put her own feelings before his and even before Naruto's, for that matter. 

❝ They told you, "put your blood on ice; you're not gonna make it." ❞ She remarked, finally lifting her gaze. The world had told him he couldn't be soft, and perhaps that was why he sought vengeance so hard, why he felt as though he needed to walk the path alone. ❝ But you don't need to do that, even now there are people that still care for you! ❞ This time around, her words were spoken with more conviction than before. 

Truthfully she wasn't sure how she could help him truthfully, she wasn't sure if she was being selfish even now. What was the point of her speaking these words as though she could ever come to understand his pain? She knew that she could never understand it, not truly — but she could at least be there for him, offer him her hand in the darkness. ❝ I just — I want to be here for you, I want to — I want to understand. ❞ Did she even have a place to make such a request?

mood is slowly feeling better, but... my time of month is coming so my body just hates me generally now. but i wanted to announce that--!!

i’ve moved two of my muses to their own blogs! Shaw and Sasuke! I just really had the urge to move some muses to their own blogs, and i’ve missed how much fun it was to make up single muse blogs. ( even if it’s time consuming jdgogfkgofdk )

they’re still pretty new, so excuse any information that i forgot to pull over but -- for now they’re xuntamed and xuchiwa.

Why did it feel as though he was being sent to babysit people? Be it Signora or this newest Harbinger - it didn’t matter all too much. In the end, he was in Inazuma for his own purpose and goals, and since he was just overlooking the events of the war and helping with the sale of the delusions, he did have a lot of free time in which to wander, as bitter sweet as that could be at times.  “You’re originally from here too, are you not?”. He wasn’t the type to make light conversation, but the distraction from his mind would be rather welcomed. They were walking along one of the nations beaches, to pass off the last of the delusions to the agents that would then sell them onto those greedy enough for power.

                               "this is the real deal now, kid. shit's about to go down. stay smart -- shoot to kill, nothing else. they don't care that you're a kid. when you're done with you objective, fall back and meet where we planned, alright?"

                               "yeesh, calm down, kiddo." he watches him go a few steps before he scratches his chin. they had all week to finish the course and they were only on day three. sasuke still had time to reach the end of it, but not if he continued to push himself. he groans to himself and with his head canting to the side, feathers spread out to attach themselves under the boy's arms, flying him back to the winged hero. "that's not very plus ultra behavior of you, y'know. people will be counting on you in real time and you need to know your own limits and when to call in for help."

“I’m not going to! I know what to do, I just want it to get done…” Sasuke scowled, shooting the winged hero a glare through the beginnings of a headache. He was right, he could feel the beginnings of his body trying to tell him to slow down at least a fraction, but he refused to slow down. Even if the one telling him to was his supposed ‘mentor’.

He turns on his heels, snorting faintly before he continued forward, fingers pressing into his temple in hopes of making the budding pain calm down. “I’m going ahead. I want this done.”
