i miss sugary sweets, i feel like i grew up with that blog

Honestly I think anyone who has been following me for a while all grew up with it and I think I also grew up with it. And I do too but, I still am sweets. I am mama sweets and I still am sugary sweets 🍰

And in all honesty I’m not sure if you mean this in a bad way or like a nostalgic way 😅

I love my blog to death it’s where I got my name, my title and just amazing me memories from I just felt like I needed to start fresh I still visit my own blog to remember all the good times and of course a HUGE HUGE thank you to all the blogs who still follow me here and interact with me 🩷 I truly have nothing but love and gratitude for you all

I did go thru a lot of term oil while there and starting a new blog helped me to grow and heal and just become a better version of myself and my writing but thank you anon and everyone else for sticking around

However staying there I felt like I wasn’t making progress. I’d barely get past 30 notes for a piece I worked hard on and most of those notes were reposts from MYSELF I basically gave myself notes at times and felt almost embarrassed about works i rlly liked personally

These are a little sparse, but I am working on a piece with Ushijima and his daughter based on headcanons I wrote years ago that I’ve never shared here. That’s gonna be fun (she’s a hoot and a half) so hopefully that makes up for this a little!

Initially, he didn’t care either way if the two of you ever had children. It’s more that the idea of having kids was never on his radar. But once you tell him that it’s something you want, he warms up to the idea of having a kid the more you talk about it.

When you tell him you’re pregnant, he thanks you for your hard work. Yes, he literally pats you on the shoulder and says, “Good work.”

He’s genuinely smiling when he does though, so you know that even if it’s a joke, he’s still thrilled to learn that he’s going to be a dad.

He isn’t sure what the first steps are. Books, maybe? He decides to order a few to get a head start on parenting practice.

Asahi

Oh, he’s wanted to be a parent forever. And he knows you’re going to make a great mom, so it’s only a matter of time before he gets to have his perfect little family.

He’s the type who’s already taken notes and listened to advice from family and friends, so he’s starting prepping long before your child was a twinkle in his eyes.

His face melts when you tell him you’re pregnant. There are lots of happy tears and face kisses, but he’s so happy!

The idea of fatherhood is a little scary at first, but it’s the good kind of scary that drives his desire to be the best dad for his kid.

Kuroo

At first, he’s stunned when you deliver the news to him. It takes him a moment to process the words. 

Sure enough, his face lights up and he asks, “Really?” a few times just to be sure. You aren’t past pulling the occasional prank on him, so he needs all the reassurance. 

Guaranteed for the rest of the day, he will stop doing whatever he’s doing randomly and try to get your attention only to say,  “I’m really gonna be a dad” and variations of that revelation.

He jokes a lot about just winging the whole fatherhood thing, but you’ve seen his internet search history full of searches for parenting advice and catch him hitting the books on occasion.

So I would like to just take a moment to appreciate all Mama Sweets ( @xsugarysweetsx ) has done for us.

Not only has she written over 100 fics, but she has brought us joy and happiness with each fic. (Even if some *cough* Levi and Todoroki *cough* fics were more difficult to find happiness in cause the angst was written to damn well)

She has grown not only as a writer but as a person. And I remember when she was celebrating 300. And now we just celebrated 900? Amazing! Im so proud of you Mama Sweets.

On this whole journey she has still stayed true to herself. Yes she had her ups and downs. We all do. And she will continue to have really good days, and really bad days. But by going through those hardships she has become a strong, amazing, kind, and accepting individual. And I am honoured to consider her my friend.

So I'll cut my ramblings short to say this,
