I can play with this pretty chess forever.👍👍👍👍 Made by @everythingembedded (@get_repost) ・・・ I did manage to do a couple of test prints with some #xperland3dfilament to make sure my #buildtak was still sticking strong after the heating issue. Of course, you know I love using my favorite tests... the shaker and a #chess piece. They're quick enough to test print settings decently, and particularly useful. Had a pretty good experience with this filament. The layer lines seem to blend well, it has a nice sheen to it especially in-hand, and parts seem surprisingly strong even with smaller features. Good detailing, even with the hotter temps I'm using with it (220ish). I'll definitely be doing some more testing on this stuff. Oh, the knight's jaw is a bit messed up. With all that was going on I forgot to enable supports for that ridiculous freeair mouth overhang. #Repost @fsoranzi (@get_repost) ・・・ I tried the new #xperland3dfilament #PLA sold by #xperland3d. They offer 2 colors right now. Rather than get every color possible they are concentrating on precise filament thickness and quality. More colors are coming. The #3dprint went well. I made these brackets for attachment to a rod. I'll use it as a jig to set the length of the #effector arms on my #deltaprinter. This filament sticks well to my #PEI #printbed. Minimal warping even at small sizes. My nozzle is due for replacement, which is the cause of some of the warping. If you want some #kickass #pla for an ornery extruder or just pla you know won't jam, give it a try. Xperland is seems to be on s good path with a good product. (at Hoboken, New Jersey)
