inspired by this tiktok (+ another one but i lost it <\33) i felt too uninspired to write a req tonight so enjoy this post that’s been sitting in my wips for quite some time now

✗ SUNA

« alright let’s go, i’m tired » suna tells you from the kitchen where he went to put your empty popcorn bowls in the dishwasher. and you know he’s telling the truth since he has slept for more than half of the movie. « mmh, actually i think i’m gonna sleep on the couch tonight... » you answer, obviously expecting him to look at you with a confused and (even though he’ll never admit it) pouty face from the kitchen’s doorframe. but instead of that, you only get a bland « ok » followed by the sound of his footsteps up the stairs. obviously you end up being the confused one, so after waiting a few minutes for him to come back, you decide to follow him to the bedroom : « hey! you weren’t supposed to- », but your sentence remains unfinished as your eyes meet with the flash of his camera. « perfect. adding this to my ‘proof i’m not the clingy one’ folder » he tells you with a victorious smile.. before following with a quieter voice that’s practically an embarrassed whisper, « alright now come here you know i can’t sleep without you... »

✗ HINATA

it’s almost midnight when hinata gets up from the couch to go to bed, and as usual, he grabs your hand to take you with him. but today you’re refuse to move an inch : « i’m gonna sleep here tonight shō, but i’ll see you tomorrow » you tell him with a soft smile. without even answering, he suddenly scoops you up to put you down on the armchair next to the couch. « gotta make it comfortable » he tells you before starting to unfold the sofa bed - which he does surprisingly fast. « no wait, you don’t have to- » you try to stop him, but he’s done before you can even finish your sentence. a grin on his face, he exclaims: « perfect! now we can both sleep here! » before turning towards you, « wait for me, i’m gonna go get the pillows on our bed... ». but before leaving, he gives you an excited kiss on the lips. followed by a second one precisely because he’s so excited. and a few minutes later, you can hear his voice yell from your shared bedroom : « WE SHOULD DO THIS MORE OFTEN BABE! »

✗ ATSUMU

you’ve just finished washing your face when atsumu - or rather, his reflection in your bathroom mirror - offers you to watch the new episode of that tv show you’ve been watching together. « another time tsumu, i think i’m gonna sleep on the couch today », you reply, already heading out of the bathroom. and obviously he follows on your heels, toothbrush still in mouth, « wait wait wait! are ya mad at me or somethin’ ? ». you shake your head no, but he doesn’t look convinced - and his mind seems to be racing as he stays quiet for a few seconds before finally speaking up : « d’ya think i’m... too clingy? » he asks, almost gasping at the realization and suddenly letting go of your hand he had grabbed to hold you back. his worried eyes and downturned lips between which his toothbrush is still loosely held are enough to make you drop the act : « no of course not! i’m so sorry baby, i was just messing with you! » you assure him, one hand on his cheek and the other one tangled in his hair. a loud sigh of relief escapes his lips as he enthusiastically takes the toothbrush out of his mouth to kiss the tip of your nose, leaving a bit of toothpaste on your skin : « good! ‘cause i wouldn’t know how to take my hands off of ya »

✗ KENMA

pillow in hand and blanket over your forearm, you decide to tell kenma you’re heading downstairs when you’re just about to leave the room. « what? why? is it because i’m not giving you enough attention? » he asks, taking off his headset. a shrug is your first answer, followed by a nonchalant : « no, i just feel like sleeping on the couch today ». but the eyebrow that he dubiously raises lets you know that he’s not buying it. « well that’s a shame... i was just about to tell you that i wanted to watch the movie you told me about », he starts, leaning back on his seat as he glances at the bed « ...guess it also sucks that i wouldn’t mind cuddling but you know... i won’t hold you back if you wanna go downstairs ». you can swear that he’s holding back a smirk after these words, while you just frown in defeat as you throw the pillow, the blanket, then yourself on the bed. with a chuckle, he plumps down next to you, mimicking the tone you used earlier : « babe... i’m gonna sleep on the couch tonight ». but he immediately follows with his own (satisfied) voice, placing a kiss on top of your head : « liar ».

✗ OIKAWA

« alright, goodnight babe. i’m sleeping on the couch tonight » are the words that make oikawa freeze in the middle of your living room. « what’s wrong? do you feel sick? » he asks, taking one step closer to you. but you shake your head no before closing your eyes, eager to see how much he’ll insist. but his way of insisting is much quieter than what you would’ve imagined, since he sits down on the hard floor, right next to the couch, and just stares at you : « i’m not leaving until you agree to come to bed with me ». at first, you act indifferent - not knowing that he actually means it... but he definitely does. and when he sees that you’re taking longer than expected to react, he decides to add some dramatic sighs and whines. « alright, alright! you won! » you exclaim after a few minutes, offering him your hand to get up. but, smooth as he is, he only uses it to pull you closer once he’s up. « i knew you loved me too much to leave me on that floor » he winks, giving a quick kiss on your upper lip. « and i knew you loved me too much to leave me on the couch » you mirror his wink before kissing his bottom lip. « sounds like we’re a perfect match »

if i were dating you i’d take lots and lots and photos and video of us ♡ and make lil scrapbooks and i’ll give it to you on our anniversary. i’m not the best at all those crafty things but all of the words i’ve written in the scrapbook will be from the heart heheh oh and i’ll also make videos of our out of town trips :>

one of the best way to document memories so I'll never lose them <3 I'll make sure all those videos are well kept in the hard discs, or we could even record using the old fashioned recorder so we could have stacks and stacks of video tapes, could play and project them on our anniversaries <333 and the photos? definitely will get a polaroid camera so we could take a lot of photos, I'll clip all those polaroids on the grid photo wall or paste them on the walls, stick them on the fridge I'll make sure they occupy all the spaces available in our home, signs and proofs of our love <333

✗ OSAMU

sometimes - just sometimes, osamu gets clingy. very clingy. especially after an exhausting day at work, he doesn’t even let you brush your teeth without hugging your waist from behind, chin on your shoulder. « ya must get tired of spendin’ time with me, baby » he lets out a sigh just when you’re about to get out of the bathroom, but it ends in a chuckle as he goes back to peppering kisses near your collarbone. « mmh, no actually » you correct him, tilting your head to the side to rest it against his. « i don’t think my social battery ever runs out when i’m with you ». surprised but visibly flattered, he shoots an almost emotional look to your reflection in the mirror, and you can feel his grip slightly tightening : « i love ya too ».

✗ SUGA

« you know, i’ve noticed something... ». although his eyes are still set on the blanket of stars above your heads, you know suga’s listening. « my social battery never runs out when i’m with you ». and suddenly you’ve got his undivided attention. as he props himself on an elbow, you can see the corner of his lips curving upwards : « wait, that’s... that’s really cute ». but you’re not exactly done yet, so you keep going : « actually, i think you might even be the person that recharges it ». this time, however, his smile gives way to a more surprised expression : « now hold up honey, i still need some time to process the first thing you said! » he exclaims dramatically, hand over his chest like he’s catching his breath. but after only a few seconds, he wraps an arm around your shoulders to bring you as close to him as he can : « it really means a lot to me, you know? » he starts, fingers stroking your skin, « and if you ever feel lucky to have me in your life... just know that i’m at least two times happier to have you in mine »

✗ AKAASHI

when you tell akaashi that you feel like going on a walk after spending your first week together from a to z, it doesn’t even cross his mind that you might want him to go with you. « alright love, see you in a bit » he answers, briefly looking up from his laptop to wave at you. « you... don’t wanna come with me? » you ask, and you can read the surprise on his face. « oh no i’d love to, but i just thought you might want some alone time » he explains as you walk up to him. « keiji, i never need some alone time after spending time with you » you respond. it’s usually pretty easy for him to mask his emotions, but right now he couldn’t hide his joy even if he wanted to. « really? » he asks and stands up from the couch, « i mean, i believe you. it’s just- i never thought somebody would ever feel that way around me, you know ». resting a hand on the back of his head to play with his unusually messy locks, your other one brushes against his cheek as you lean in for a gentle kiss. and you can feel him smile against your lips and pulling you a bit closer by the waist as you whisper: « i think it’s about time you start to realize how incredibly amazing you are ».
