did anyone else notice how incredibly hurt min ho reacted when kitty and him were mistaken as a couple? kitty said "i would throw up and die" and that really got min ho's attention and he turned to look at her. i think he's picking up on how much kitty was almost intentionally avoiding her feelings for him but at the same time was getting a bit hurt by it. but i think he cares too much about her to push her to admit anything before she's ready and i really love him for that

Xo Season Two Spoilers

My hopes for a possible s3 and s4 of Xo Kitty and talking about Season 2

- Yuri was the one who suffered the most this season, my hope is they focus on her being poor and how it effects her. I also feel her and kitty never had a moment to actually talk through things on why Yuri kissed her or how she felt. I think we need a moment to talk about it hopefully in s3 or s4

- I personally don't think Kitty and Yuri should end up together, especially how season 2 went. I just think it wouldn't really work out either way because Yuri obviously loves Julianna, and there was a lot of miscommunication between them, and her having to cheat just to kiss her... they would be adorable but I think they're just better being friends but I think we should have a closure moment between them

- Given how S2 ended I expect to see a small portion of the season that will focus on Kitty joining Minho during summer break, which we'll see them grow closer, personally I don't want them to get together right away in s3 I would like build up between them and maintaining the platonic relationship, but I do hope for a kiss between them

- I would also like to see Kitty learn more about her mom next season as well and figure out about herself.

- I would also like to see how Yuri being poor will affect her friendship with Dae, I hope their isn't hard feelings but I expect there will be.

- I would like to see some of Q's family life in the next season and his relationship with Jin

- I would like to see Minho's mom hopefully next season

- I would like to see Julianna and Praveena as a couple, and hope that Yuri remains friends with Julianna.

- I would say in Season 4, pair someone with Yuri that isn't Julianna (I think they're better off) or Kitty, as long as we get that closure moment between Kitty and Yuri.

- I would like more Eunice and Dae

- If Minho and Kitty kiss next season, I wonder what would happen if Dae found out. I do suspect they would be in a huge fight, I would hope that he would understand that Minho has genuine feelings for Kitty but didn't want to hurt him.

- I would like to see Kitty and Yuri being better friends in season 3 and 4, compared to this season.

- Hopefully a Lara Jean appearance

- I would like to see more of Minho's family life

- I would like to see if Jin finds another passion that isn't running

- More of Lee and Kitty interactions

- More Alex and Yuri intereactions

- Hopefully Kitty becoming friends with Julianna

JUST FINISHED XO, KITTY SEASON 2 ANDWHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK ??!?!

honestly, the way they handled kitty / yuri / juliana / praveena really annoyed me. so you take the lesbians in a healthy relationship, and kitty who really likes praveena, and then get yuri to cheat on juliana by kissing kitty.

so, the kitty-praveena relationship is ruined, yuri-juliana broke up, and yuri is a bitch towards kitty. ( even if they made up in later episodes. )

AND THEN JULIANA AND PRAVEENA GET TOGETHER ??!?! WHAT ??

idk it just feels like a good way to make sure that kitty ends up with min ho, instead of, y'know.. the girl ?? literally the only thing the first three or four episodes did, was ruin everybody's relationships.

or maybe i'm dramatic and annoyed that kittyuri probably isn't endgame but still. the fuck, man ??

Minho + Kitty are end game

Okay, so I absolutely love XO, Kitty. Yes, I know it’s not a perfect show and it’s extremely cheesy, but those are the types of shows I love lol. Anyhow, I need to talk about my beloved ship Minho + Kitty, especially after this past season.

You cannot sit here and tell me they aren’t purposely building up these two to be end game. They make it SO clear that’s who Kitty will end up with because the plot line between them is so carefully drawn out and detailed. If someone like Yuri was meant to be with Kitty, the plot line would be more detailed. Lemme explain.

With Minho, he shows a lot of parallels to Peter (ie. calling Kitty “Covey”), he always shows up for Kitty (especially in stressful situations), he constantly looks at her lovingly, and he’s very sassy like Kitty. They keep building up their friendship and Kitty’s feelings for him. It perfectly fits the friends to lovers trope.

Looking at Yuri, although she’s a good friend to Kitty, there are plenty of times where she doesn’t show up for her in the same way Minho - and Q - do. She also runs after she kisses Kitty and avoids Kitty entirely instead of bothering to talk it out with her, until Kitty pretty much forces her to have that conversation. There’s also no parallels to Peter and it seems like she doesn’t reciprocate the same romantic feelings Kitty has.

And, with Dae, he’s so timid and doesn’t seem to want to win Kitty back in any sort of way, despite getting a bit mad at Minho. His anger was more-so for being so quick to confess to Kitty, like there was ill intent and lack of consideration towards the breakup + his friendship with Dae. Dae strikes me as the first boyfriend - good first experience but not who’s going to be there for the long haul. Him also not immediately telling his serious girlfriend that he was in a fake relationship was so messy and showed lack of care (teenagers are also just really stupid at times lol).

So, see what I’m getting at? The Kitty and Minho build up has already lasted for two whole seasons. There has been plenty of time for build up between Kitty and other characters if there was a potential relationship forming. But, that hasn’t really been the case.

My theory is that it’s going to go the same way a romcom does. There’s messy things that happen, other love interests are added in to throw the audience off, plot twists thicken the build up, etc. And, then, after seasons worth of that, Minho and Kitty will end up getting into a very serious relationship. It’s a matter of knowing it’s going to happen but figuring out how it’s going to happen and enjoying the ride. That’s always how romcoms go, and this is most likely running on that same formula.

Think of how stupid it would be if the writers of the show built up all this hype of Minho and Kitty ending up together…and then they don’t. They’d end up with a ridiculous amount of disappointed fans and bad reviews. It would feel like it was all done for nothing.

Don’t get me wrong. I think it’s important that they’ve had Dae, Yuri, and Stella all thrown into the romantic plot. Dae was the important first experience. Yuri helped Kitty figure out her sexuality (and helps normalize bisexuality which I love). Stella was the rotten girlfriend who made it clear to Minho that he still loves Kitty and that he never loved anyone else. BUT, their romantic plot lines aren’t nearly as interesting as the one between Kitty and Minho (at least to me and a lot of the other viewers).

Just had to ramble about that because I love them and it’s silly to think they aren’t going to be the end game.
