🤩 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: edgy_mando Hello everyone! It's time to direct the spotlight toward our community members, and today we will get to know better edgy_mando!

"My name is Patryk, known as Edgy_Mando. I’m from Poland and I am a 90s kid. During the day, I work as a graphic designer and in my free time I am a LEGO freak.

LEGO was my favorite toy in childhood. I received my first sets from my grandfather, who initiated my passion to bricks. Back then, we loved building the first Pirates and Castle sets together. I have many wonderful memories from those times.

My return to LEGO happened two years ago. As a huge Star Wars fan, I stumbled upon the Razor Crest set from Mandalorian in a store and fell in love with it. I thought, why not buy and build it? Since then, I have started collecting LEGO again and have been enjoying myself. Additionally, I have always admired toy photography by other creators.

I decided to join this community by actively managing Instagram and regularly taking photos of scenes I come up with.

At first, my photos focused only on Star Wars, but I quickly realized that it limits my creativity, and I wanted something more. In my gallery, you can find photos from Pirates, Castle, City, Marvel, and my own imagined universes. Currently, I enjoy photographing the amazing world of Castle and the daily life of City residents.

Most of my photos are taken at home. I feel the most freedom in creating when I can calmly analyze and set up everything I need in my own space. A big advantage is the control over the light and the possibility to create my own scenery using elements such as sand, gravel, moss, artificial grass, etc.

Equipment I use is a Xiaomi Mi Note 10 smartphone as my camera, RGB LED lights, a tripod, and paper cards for light reflection. As for editing software, Lightroom helps me with color correction, while Photoshop is used for retouching (removing dust and unwanted scratches on a minifigures).

I try to make my photos as natural as possible, but as a graphic designer, I sometimes add minor special effects, mainly in themes like Star Wars (lightsabers, blaster shots, etc.).

I find ideas for photos everywhere! From my everyday life and surroundings, which I use in the City series, to pop culture, movies, games, or even art, which allows me to create my own themes. I have plenty of ideas, and when I decide one, I build MOC (My Own Construction), set up scenes, and turn on the lights to realize my shot as it looks in my mind."

Come animale anche io amo molto il lupo 🐺 ma non perché io mi definisco leader ma proprio perché lo amo come animale, è un animale elegante e impostato, mi piace da sempre.

Per quanto riguarda le serie TV proverò guardarle, le consoco solo di nome.

Per il cellulare, io ho preso un Oppo perché aveva una buona qualità prezzo.

Con Xiaomi (io ho avuto il 10 e ci ho fatto quasi tutti gli anni delle superiori e oltre) ma poi una notte ha avuto un crollo terribile e è venuto lo schermo bianco per tutta la notte e alla mattina mi sono svegliata si era praticamente bruciato il telefono, ma un po' lo capisco ha avuto quasi 7 anni di vita.. è forse anche troppo per un cellulare anche se uso solo Pinterest, whatsapp YouTube, e a volte qualche gioco, non spesso faccio foto e video anzi quasi mai uso la camera.

Parlando dei cartoni li conosco anche io quelli che hai menzionato, adoravo troppo la Melevisione, e anche le canzoni, troppo un bel ricordo. E ricordo che in passato c'erano anche i cartoni dentro la Melevisione, ti ricordi?

Le serie TV che ti ho consigliato sono moltooo leggere, però ecco.. non so perfettamente che genere ti piace. Sono andata un po' così, a tastoni.

Redmi Note 10 Pro Review: grote waarde voor wat u betaalt

Xiaomi lanceerde vorige maand de smartphone uit de Redmi Note 10 Pro-serie in India als opvolger van de vorig jaar gelanceerde Redmi Note 9 Pro-serie. De uitvoer heeft een resolutie van 16 MP en de beeldgrootte is ongeveer 5 MB. Portretfoto's hebben een behoorlijke randdetectie, ook al wordt dit met behulp van software gedaan, maar deze foto's zijn bijna 8 MP groot.

Desde crear un robot-mayordomo para la industria hotelera hasta abrir una tienda de vinos totalmente automatizada, el gigante asiático del e-commerce Alibaba no descansa en su intento de integrar los últimos avances tecnológicos en su negocio. Repasamos algunos de sus últimos movimientos.

1. Lanzamiento de un robot-mayordomo

Alibaba ha anunciado el lanzamiento de un robot-mayordomo dirigido a hostelería. Equipado con AliGenie, su asistente de voz con inteligencia artificial, puede entregar comida y ropa limpia a los huéspedes. Empezará a atender en hoteles seleccionados a partir de este mes.

Otros ejemplos recientes de uso de robots son el café Ratio, en Shanghái, que cuenta con un robot que sirve café, y Spyce, con sede en Boston, que ofrece comida rápida saludable hecha por robots. Este tipo de iniciativas evidencia una creciente dicotomía dentro del sector: ¿experiencia de compra rápida, continua y automatizada, o inmersiva, cautivadora y mágica? Cada vez más las experiencias que no entren en ninguna de estas dos categorías serán rechazadas por el consumidor. Lo importante es preguntarse qué aspectos de la experiencia del cliente se beneficiarían de la automatización y cuáles no deben ser automatizados, sino mejorados con experiencias atractivas.

2. Apertura de una tienda new retail

Alibaba se ha asociado con la marca de moda Guess para abrir su primer concepto de tienda FashionAI en Hong Kong. Como parte de la iniciativa “New Retail” de Alibaba para digitalizar las experiencias tradicionales en la tienda, cada artículo cuenta con etiquetas que permiten que los espejos y probadores inteligentes interactúen con los clientes. Si los clientes necesitan información sobre un producto, simplemente cogen una botella y la información se muestra en una pantalla. Los pagos se realizan a través de la plataforma Alipay.

5. Samsung:

The television discreetly but effectively emphasised the vivid pinks and greens of the guards' and contestants' clothing.   The image is clear and detailed without being overly abrupt and rough. Smoothness pervaded Ultra-HD footage, while Dolby Vision content appeared even better thanks to brightness and contrast. On the Mi TV 5X, visually appealing programmes like Our Planet looked impressive.   The largest advantage of Dolby Vision on the Mi TV 5X was in the tone, even though there was a noticeable increase in brightness and the opportunity to have different levels of contrast and impact in the same frame with HDR material. The lighthearted Somebody Feed Phil appeared bright and joyful as Phil Rosenthal explored towns and their distinctive eateries, but this television typically captured the tone and flavour of TV episodes well. It gave a dismal, dark feel to shows like Squid Game and films like Greyhound on Apple TV+.   When it comes to black levels, many LED-backlit TVs, especially those that cost less than Rs. 50,000, have a tendency to stutter. While not nearly as stunning as televisions like the OnePlus TV Q1 Pro (which includes local dimming), the Mi TV 5X manages to handle darker scenes and black tones pretty well. The screen did have a slight grey wash, but it wasn't as strong or annoying as on the Redmi TV X55, which costs approximately Rs. 5,000 less than the Mi TV 5X. As a result, dimly lit rooms produced decent-looking dark movies, but brilliant sequences were still watchable when sunlight directly hit the TV. While normal dynamic range and standard definition video are obviously less appealing to watch than HDR, they were nevertheless watchable on the Mi TV 5X 55. The TV handled the older, upscaled footage of the Bulls' legendary championship runs and Michael Schumacher's F1 dominance in the 1990s particularly well. Other full-HD content on Netflix, including The Good Place, Parks and Recreation, and Schumacher, was enjoyable to watch. Across resolutions and content, this TV provided a viewing experience that was consistently bright, clear, and clean.   In typical viewing conditions, the Mi TV 5X's sound is comfortable and decent; the TV can get pretty loud thanks to its 40W speakers. Without too many abrupt volume changes, the sound is well-balanced and homogeneous. Interestingly, the Mi TV 5X does not enable Dolby Atmos identification by content platforms; Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar all showed capability for 5.1-channel audio at best. Dolby Atmos is supported on the TV and was activated with a slider switch in the sound settings menu.   Instead, it appears that this TV upscales the sound stream at the hardware level when Dolby Atmos is enabled. With the majority of content, this still made a small difference in the sound quality. While watching Squid Game, some virtualized surround effects could be heard, and generally, the audio felt a little more polished and detailed. The sound was good enough even with this off or with content that doesn't really benefit from the format. Having said that, a quality speaker system like the Sony HT-S40R, which I reviewed alongside this TV, could enhance the audio quality.   Despite the Mi TV 5X's typically good picture and sound quality and overall positive software experience, I did occasionally run across performance issues. These included sporadic Wi-Fi connection dropouts, sluggish reactions to button presses from the remote, and intermittent image lag and stuttering when streaming Ultra-HD material.   Additionally, I occasionally noticed subtitle timing issues, where the words would show on screen a second or two late but still clear on schedule. This made it challenging to follow along when watching foreign-language programming. OPPO (including OnePlus) followed with 10.9 million shipments, securing the second spot. Apple came in third with 10.6 million shipments, benefiting from its new launch. Vivo, with a cautious shipment strategy, held fourth position with a 16% market share. Xiaomi's hot-selling series maintained its momentum, with a slight increase in market share to 14%, securing the fifth spot. Additionally, Huawei continued to gain market share and inch its way towards the top players through its high-profile Mate series launches. “Product competitiveness is, again, key for growth,” said Canalys Research Analyst Lucas Zhong. “The Huawei Mate 60 series launch sparked the market. If Huawei expands the new Kirin chipset into its low-to-mid-range portfolio in the future, it has the potential to disrupt the competitive dynamic among leading vendors.
