Jurin

love: it seems like she is dating someone at the moment. This is someone older than her and they have been around ehr for quite some time. despite the age difference it does seem to be a serious relationship

career: she is super happy with her current idol life situation. She believes that they have the good amount of fame for their music, they have good company 8in her opinion) and the money is also well earned. overall she is happy 

self: she has been focused a lot on her own goals and on her own abilities. It feels like Jurin wants to push forward and show the world her capacities on a bigger scale. 

Chisa

love: chisa also is dating at the moment, this one person seems to be someone she works with but they aren't an idol. yet they are someone that has been able to bring her quite some comfort inside the company and insider her career 

career: she is equally happy with how things are going. Chisa believes that she is able to have the perfect harmony between being an idol and having a private life without being disrespected. she is happy 

self: despite all of that, she still struggles with her past anxieties and depression that has been going on for quite some years. she is having help for that, but there’s days where it can be quite complicated 

Cocona

love: she too, is in a relationship with the same person i have been picking up from my past readings on XG. So far things seem to be going well for her and she is just living her life according to how she wants. 

career: another member to be quite happy with how her career is going, since she has the freedom to choose what she wants to show to the public. Cocona is also very creative and she will have the opportunity to cast out her talents for the public thanks to her sponsor 

self: her health however seems to be a little more on the downside. She probably feels weak or has some issues when it comes to having heavy headaches. she just need to watch for those 

Hinata

love: Hinata is equally in a relationship and she is equally super happy with how things are going. This person and her have quite a healthy relationship and things seem to be doing well. In such cases, I don't have much to say about them. 

career: She is very hardworking and she has been doing her best in order to show the best side of herself when she is on stage. Hinata is someone who is very resilient yet has strong boundaries. everything that she shows to her fans seem to be at least 75% genuine 

self: she is fine health wise but she is also super happy overall. This girl is bright as the sun which I find ironic due to her name. 

Maya

love: Maya is actually single. She came out of a complicated relationship where there was a lot of toxic behavior happening through her partner. it seems to have taken a lot of weight from her shoulders but the pain of events that have happened to her, are still haunting her sleep

career: so far she seems to be the only one to be frustrated with how her life is going. she probably would want more for XG and she thinks that the company are delaying them and not allowing them to be more known due to certain restrictions 

self: her mental health isn't the best. she has a lot of negative and neglecting thoughts about herself and others, she restricts herself a lot from things in life (food for exemple) and she also has a very victim mind which does not help her 

Juria

love: she is single and enjoying her life. Juria is the type of girl that know she power and also privilegiate her friendships. so she has her side pookies but she doesn't have a main one since she doesn't want to get attached. she also has been spending most of her time gossip and be around people she cares/friends

career: she is so happy about her career, she is so hopeful that XG will be able to have a bigger influence as time passes. She believes that her group has the capacity for that. she also seem to have a very good career ahead of her 

self: her health however seems to be a little weak/fragile. she often tries to become too perfect which can impact her negatively. Juria also needs to be careful with her boredom that could lead to her making harsh decisions 

Harvey

love: this girl is single after coming out from a harsh breakup. At the moment there's still a lot of regret and disappointment about what has happened. she feels like she has failed this relationship, almost like she blames herself form benign abandoned by her partner 

career: she is feeling very anxious about things, about people's opinion of her and just working overall. Although she feels blessed to have such good opportunities, she often wonders if this is the right path for her. 

self: she has been self isolating a lot, she hasn't been communicating with people about her feelings and i feel like she isn't okay overall. harvey also feel like she has lost her spark in her energy

Hiii ! How are you Tumblr people?

I just thought that I should try to start writing some things about my fav kpop groups, or overall universes I like.

Here's my Masterlist !!

So, let's get into the real "about me".

You can call me Regamoth or Rega, I used to have my real name as my id on social medias but I realized there was lots of weird people on there.

My pronouns are he/she, I'm genderfluid and sapphic.🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

I'm a 04 liner, born the same day as Yoona from SNSD, Ailee and Eunha from Viviz and Joan of Arc's deathday :)

My hobbies are kinda basic tbh, listening to music, watching youtube, twitch, movies, tv shows, building legos,

I'm into kpop since April 2017, my ex-best friend was a fan and she made me discover this incredible universe.

I'll only write for the artists I stan and the movies/shows I like

Kpop: NCT, Xdinary Heroes (I see literally no contents about them that's sad), Sunmi, Blackpink, XG, Aespa, Le sserafim, Dreamcatcher, G-Idle, TXT, The Rose, EXO.

Others: The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Umbrella Academy, Sex Education, Friends, Derry Girls, Harry Potter (fuck JKR). And, if I find some Frenchies interested in that, I might write about the tv show Kaamelott because even if the fans are cringe it's still a cool show.

Tbh, I think I'll mainly write headcanons or scenarios, things that are quick to write because my lazy ass is gonna have trouble writing big, well written, imagines all the time :(

I'm not sure I'll write smut. Maybe just suggestive or not direct smut. Idk I'll figure it out ig.

Heni:

After an hour, the car took us to our dormitory, a palace compared to our cubicles which served as an apartment for 6 girls. Packing our things didn't take long, surprising given how many clothes Gabi had. We had to take his ton of stuff with us. I feel that the cohabitation will be long and hard, we will stay together for 7 years or more, if the group works of course.

I hear knocking at the door.

Heni: Come in.

Iji and Ara's heads go through the door.

Iji: So, how's the installation progressing??

Heni: Slowly but surely.

Ara: You want help.

Heni: If it's to steal my clothes, I pass.

Iji sneers.

Ara: You're the worst unnie.

She rolls her eyes, crossing her arms.

Heni: We already have enough, don't you think. You can attack Gabi's wardrobe if you want.

Iji: With her ton of clothes, you'll have a choice.

Ara: Yeah, that's it. Well, apart from that, we're going to be part of a group together, in addition with superb unnies.

Iji: You know legally, we should be in school like all normal kids.

Ara: Apparently, we're not normal, anyway, it's your dream, isn't it? To start.

Heni: Besides, it's still two years from now, so we will have already grown up.

Iji: What bothers me is that other people could have been chosen, a Trainee who was there for a long time, much longer than me. I feel too young and inexperienced.

Ara: Heni?

I turn to her.

Henry: Yes?

Ara: Do you think like me?

Heni: It depends on the situation, so I don't know.

Ara: I'm just saying that the 14-year-old prodigy who has outstripped every Trainee for months here is stupid.

Heni: HA!! Ah yes, you are stupid!

I point at Iji accusingly.

Ara: No no, silly, that's a point, inexperienced my eye.

Heni approves with two thumbs up.

Ara: In addition, if I start, it's with the Moonz, not without, ok!?

Lynn suddenly enters the room.

Lynn: Maknaes, it's time to eat, I made a Japanese dish for dinner.

Heni: Waa, it smells good!

Iji starts running towards the dining room.

Ara: No, I want to eat it!!

I also put chasing after Iji.

Lynn:

Kids, too cute.

Iji and Ara ran off to the dining room but Heni just stood there.

Lynn: You don't run, do you?

Heni: Am i supposed to?

She stands there dumbfounded.

Lynn: Go to the dining room, that's all.

We walk together, she moves in slow motion,

the world is going too fast for her apparently.

Akane:

After having eaten, eaten our fill for once, I'm crying so much it's good, we were in the kitchen talking.

Ara: What do you think we'll be called?!

She gobbled down a piece of meat asking that question.

Yerin: Something nice I hope.

Gabi: I also hope that the concept will be interesting, as for aespa for example.

Akane: The technological madness works only with them, we will surely have something different.

Lynn: We might have a storyline! It would be fun, we might be able to do several musical styles.

Iji: And in your opinion, what will our positions be??

Ara: Well, everyone knows you're the maknae, Ijin.

Iji: Iji and yes that's for sure.

She rolls her eyes.

Iji: The rapping hand is Akane, that's for sure too.

Sunsol: Mio is the main dancer.

Mio: Ahh, yes, well, yeah.

Chenny: We shouldn't get excited like that, we'll all know what we need to know in due time. Our debut is still planned in 2 years, well if we don't have any problems.

Yerin: Don't be pessimistic like that, if we're going to start, it's surely together.

Heni: She's right…uh, I want to start together…we what.

Iji: We all know it will be super hard, no.

Gabi: Of course, we all knew that, when I stopped stuffing myself, I knew it was hard.

Everyone laughs.

Sunsol: We will get there!!! Let’s GO!!

Iji: Don't shout, I have sensitive ears.

Sunsol: OH REALLY !?!?

Sunsol continues to scream in Iji's ears, soon joined by Ara, they like to annoy the youngest, that's for sure.

Iji: Stop it! You're going to break my ears!

Iji throws the rest of his dish at Sunsol, but the dish ends up in Yerin's face.

Iji: Oh!! I don't regret my act at all, sorry Yerin, you fell in the path of my dish.

Yerin: You don't know what you threw!

She in turn shoves her food into Iji's face, which triggers a food fight in the dining room.

A/N: I'm choking on nostalgia at 1 am and if I'm suffering, I'm afraid I'm going to make you suffer with me too. Happy birthday, celebrate your birthdays, or I'll cry.

“Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me.”

The lyrics were murky as your brain tried to remember the song from so long ago. With the light on above the kitchen sink, your view of the area was pretty dim. In front of you, a perfectly wrapped cupcake was topped with sprinkles and a single lit candle. 

Still tucked in your pajamas, you stood beside the kitchen island and sang quietly to yourself. The small flame reflected in your eyes and once you finished the song, the dark kitchen went back to silence. Your eyes remained on the flickering flame. 

The wax of the single black candle slowly began to ooze down the side. In the back bedroom, your boyfriend was sound asleep. Han had been out cold since he came home a few hours ago. Another day of practice and recording left him exhausted. 

In your head, it was fortunate. Your birthday was today, but the truth? You never had plans to celebrate it. What was the point, anyway? Another year of growing older. Another year where you’re forced to confront that you’re creeping closer and closer to death. 

Days tick by, but the thought haunts your subconscious. One of these days, it just might be your last and you’ll never know until it happens. Your anxiety surrounding death had been growing lately. 

Birthdays weren’t special to begin with. Birthdays were somewhat enjoyable as a kid. There was cake and ice cream. A few presents and a signed card. 

And then you grew up. 

The presents became less. The cakes disappeared. The few friendships dissolved and that was that. If anything, birthdays were just a painful reminder of how lonely you felt. Was there really anything to celebrate anymore? 

The wrinkles deepened and the mistakes of the past weighed on your heart heavily. Three-hundred and sixty-five days had passed since this time last year. So many years from when you were born into this world and it still felt pointless; just another nail in the coffin. 

“What are you doing?” Han’s sleepy voice broke through your thoughts. Across the way, his hands wiped at his sleepy eyes. He yawned and his attention went down to the flickering flame. “You made yourself a cupcake at this hour?” 

“Um…” Your head shook and you leaned forward to blow out the candle. “Something like that, I suppose.” 

Finally more awake, his half-lidded eyes met yours. He scanned the sink behind you for dirty dishes, but there wasn’t any. The scent of cake didn’t linger in the air. It must have been something you bought from a store. 

“A cupcake for a midnight snack is a weird choice, isn’t it? I’ve heard that sugar can give you nightmares before bed.” 

An ache squeezed your hollow heart at his words. You longed for the flavors to burst on your tongue, but instead you nodded. “Yeah, thanks for reminding me. I’ll probably just save it for dessert tomorrow after lunch or something.” 

The empty plastic container that used to hold the cupcake had been placed on the back counter. You spun around to grab it and blinked rapidly, trying to hide your tears. Han didn’t remember your birthday, of course, he didn’t. 

It wasn’t something you could be mad about. It’s not like you told him about your birthday. In fact, when he brought it up, you switched the topic. Your birthday felt so unimportant and dull, you tried to forget about it most of the time. 

But this birthday? Nostalgia bit into your heart this year. You longed for rich icing and moist cake. You wanted to recall the way your laugh sounded higher-pitched in childhood. If you chewed and squeezed your eyes shut, you were sure you could remember your mother back when you were only seven. 

When her hair was its original color and time hadn’t worn her down. Back when her joints were younger and she didn’t mention pain all the time. Her hair was longer and life seemed brighter. 

To a time when your father seemed to notice you more. When the future was bright and sitting on top of his shoulders made you squeal with delight. Up there, anything seemed possible and with his hands supporting your legs, you could do anything. 

Time is cruel and adulthood will rob you of everything you hold dear if you let it. Sharp teeth rip bites from your heart. Relationships fade and without work on either end, the distance between people grows like wild ivy. Phone calls dwindle and the steady texts disappear. 

Your parents become strangers. Friendships you knew like the back of your hand become foreign. Everything crumbles and then you’re left holding onto, not people, but the memories. Memories are just daggers to a beating heart. 

Things feel so achievable when you're young. Birthdays are some of the most exciting times of a child’s life. Dreams were so easy to accomplish back then, the sky was the limit, but this was now. Your star-dusted dreams died out so long ago, you couldn’t see them anymore. 

Han didn’t notice you reaching up to wipe a tear, but he noticed the rainbow sprinkles on the cupcake. He knew a lot of things about you and he knew that you didn’t like sprinkles on your cupcakes. You claimed they were too childish and yet, they were scattered along top of swirled icing. 

When it finally clicked, his eyes widened. “Oh my god, wait.” You spun around and his head snapped to you. “It’s your birthday, isn’t it?” 

“It doesn’t matter.” 

“But it does! What do you mean?” He rushed across the tile floor and grabbed you. “Happy birthday! I can’t believe I missed out on telling you that. Why didn’t you say anything?” 

“Maybe birthdays are just stupid.” 

You pulled yourself from his grip and grabbed the cupcake with two hands. You didn’t get far when he grabbed a fistful of your shirt and gently tugged you back to face him. “What do you mean?” 

Your eyes stayed on the floor. You couldn’t bear to look at those soft brown eyes. Not tonight, not with all the jumbled emotions swarming you. If your eyes found him, you’d fall apart in seconds. 

“What?” 

“Do you ever think about how pointless they are? So? I’m a year older, who cares?” You tried to squirm from his grip. 

“I care.” His hand reached up, gently grabbed your chin, and he made you face him. “I care an awful lot about your birthday. You’re here with me, aren’t you?” 

His cheeks puffed up in a sad smile. “You made it. Look at you go. Isn’t that something worth celebrating? Something to be proud of? You’ve done so much.” 

“I’ve done nothing.” 

“You’ve done everything. You’ve survived every challenge and you learned a lot. You discovered new things about yourself. You exist and that itself should be celebrated.” 

Your bottom lip quivered and you blinked rapidly. Your voice came out wobbly. “You’re not supposed to make me cry on my birthday.” 

“I don’t think you’re supposed to make your boyfriend cry on your birthday either, but it’s happening.” His thumb reached up to catch a stray tear. Just as your tear fell, his own soon followed. 

“Why are you crying?” 

“Because it makes me sad that you don’t view yourself like I do. You’re so precious to me and I hate that you can’t see the good. Birthdays are meant to be celebrated. Haven’t you ever had a surprise party or a party with all of your friends?” 

“Not really. I’ve had stuff with one or two friends, but never a surprise party. I didn’t have a large group of friends. My birthday parties were themed around my family and then I started to grow up. Families don’t care about birthdays once you reach a certain age.” 

His head shook, but you nodded. “That’s how it was with my family,” you continued. “Birthdays are just a waste of time and-” You gently lifted the cupcake. “Money. Besides, sprinkles are childish.” 

It tore his heart to shreds. In the dim light, you looked defeated. Your hair was a mess and brown bags curled beneath your eyes. Sadness pooled in the corners of your eyes and stayed there. 

He reached out and pulled the cupcake from your cupped hands. Setting it back on the counter, he hurried over to grab a lighter from a distant junk drawer. His name left your lips, but he ignored you. 

He came back to the table and the lighter flickered to life. The sparking flame reappeared and relit the candle on the cupcake. He stepped back and gestured to you to step forward. “Go ahead and make a wish.” 

“But I-” 

“Make a wish.” 

You stared at him for a moment. Wet streaks lined his cheeks, but the way he looked at you in that moment, it inflated your heart again. The flutter of hope in his eyes. The way the flame danced in his pupils. His hands kept gesturing for you to blow out the candle. His usual smile still tugged at one side of his mouth. 

You shut your eyes, stepped up, and sent out a single stream of air. The flame was there and then gone, just like that. Before you reopened your eyes, Han clapped excitedly.  “Happy birthday, baby!” 

You squealed as you were grabbed by your waist. “Han Jisung!” He giggled with glee and slung you over his shoulder. “Put me down!” 

“No can do, we’ve got places to go, people to go see, and a birthday to celebrate. The night is still so young and we’re not going to waste it.” 

“It’s midnight!” 

“It’s basically happy hour somewhere. So first I was thinking that we should go get Minho. We can use him to break into Seungmin and Felix’s dorm. We can steal Felix’s video games and while we do that, Minho can draw a mustache on Seungmin with a permanent marker. In the morning, it’ll all be Lix’s fault.”  

“That’s cruel.” 

“And the entertainment from pranks lasts forever. So then we’ll sneak into Chan’s and Jeongin’s place and raid their food stash. We’ll end the night in Changbin and Hyunjin’s dorm. You can get sappy with Hyunjin while we eat snacks. Changbin can sing happy birthday at the top of his lungs.” 

When he put you down outside your apartment’s front door, he grimaced. Your arms were crossed over your chest and you scowled at him. “That’s the best you could come up with?” 

“Uh…” 

“It’s perfect, let’s go.” You looped your hand through his and began to tug him into Seoul’s darkness. “But since it’s my birthday, I had nothing to do with this.” 

“Hey, I thought you didn’t like your birthday.” 

“It turns out, I like it when it can be used as a get out of jail free card.”

Hi guys!! As promised, this post will basically just tell you a little bit about me.

I know you brought up XG in a previous post with some of the screencaps, but what are your opinions on the hack/mod as a whole? Alnog with Grand Colosseum if you've dabbled with that at all, I'M actually curious to hear your opinions about them!

When I was younger, but old enough to be cynical, I viewed romhacks of Pokemon games as expression of discontent for what the base game provided.

When I learned years ago that, at the time, XG had replaced all the names of the NPCs in the game, I would never look at any post on here featuring stuff from XG as anything but made in bad faith. I hated anything that tried to erase the memory of Orre in any way. It went against everything I stood for. But that was one of the earliest versions of the romhack and the developer reversed the decision of renaming characters, at least, for the major characters like Lovrina and Greevil. Common npcs are still renamed which is alright. I'm over it :T

Years later, after joining his server (the apex of all Orre communities) one fateful invite via twitter later, getting to know the developer Stars, and realizing that romhacks in general are made out of love for the game and not disdain, I've warmed up to it. He and I are very good friends and he's one of the coolest Orre fans there is. A romhacker would take so much time out of their day to edit a game because they love it right? You would have to be a bitter freak if you didn't love the game that you're hacking on some level. Romhacks that offer a different experience while staying true to the game's mission and spirit are the best. (I say, having only played the Earthbound Halloween Hack by tobyfox as my only other romhack experience)

I started a playthrough of XG, but I haven't finished it yet. It might be the burn-out from all these years of Orre self-exposure but as I play I just feel like wanting to play the original real-thing on my gamecube. I'm conditioned to seeing the silly names and in ALL CAPS no less. I still plan on continuing my playthrough, but I have other things to play and creative endeavors I wish to try. I know that he's added Shadow Pokemon I've always wanted to see and readjusted abilities and type match-ups for a modern-esque take on the game. I know I'll enjoy it to the fullest eventually even with the risk of crashing at any moment

Please enjoy XG: NeXt Gen if you'd like. If you're a fan of the original I'm sure you'll like it once you've put enough time into it. I've barely gotten into the meat and potatoes of it myself, but don't let that stop you. There are twists in the Shadow Pokemon themselves and some fun changes to XD's scenario I'm sure you'd appreciate if you played the OG at least once. Just be sure to save often lol

As for Grand Colosseum, I haven't touched that romhack ever, besides contributing to Rui's palette swap, but I'll say the same thing in that please go ahead and play it if you like what Colosseum's base game had. I know Kya too and she hangs out in the same discord server Stars founded and let me join. It's a wonderful thing to see the original Orre games live beyond their time by being remixed and resurfaced by the fans for a new Orrean experience.
