CressaTale: Information sheet!

This is basically just a lore dump, lol.

So first off, we got the roles: The royalty, the pirates, the guards, the mages, the merfolk, and the citizens.

Dream is about twelve, and the prince of Solariana. His older brother, Nightmare, and in his late twenties. And technically king. But, he spends most of his time out on ships, concurring land.

Cross is also a prince, of Xerza. (Pronounced X-zer-rah.) He's thirteen. When Dream was born, his parents and Crosses parents made a truce, and part of that was betrothing Dream to Cross when they're old enough. (Note, at the time, they thought Dream was a girl—its a lot harder to tell skeleton genders.)

Now even though Dreams parents are deceased, and NM is King, he still can't just reverse it, since he doesn't want to start any conflict. (He's totally okay starting conflict but Cross is Dream's best friend, and he doesn't wanna upset Dream too much)

Since NM and his crew are away so much, Ink and Blue are the personal guards/caretakers of Dream. Ink, also doubles as a witch, with broomie as his broom stick. They all kinda just hang out with the prince, whose often lonely without Cross.

Then we have the bad guys: Horror, Dust, and Killer (which here are their pirate nicknames) are all pirates that work for NM. They're also like fun uncles to Dream, and tend to bring him back gifts.

Error is also part of Nightmares staff, but he's a Mage as well, who uses a book to well, cast spells! He's one of the few people that know what actually happened to Dream and NMs parents, he's also responsible for turning NM goopy, and he's one of the few that know where Dream and NM actually came from. (Artificially created souls, technically they're the same age, but Nightmare was brought out of the tubes like sixteen years before dream was, thus, the age gap.)

Then... the merfolk.

Ships, boats, are very important. Solariana is literally surrounded by water, so are most kingdoms. The merfolk used to be in charge of what boats could and couldn't pass—Until their queen was murdered, and people started hunting merfolk.

Now people see them as legends. They're very few remaining. Lust, Outer, Fresh, and Geno are all merfolk.

Dream LOVES mythology and magic, so the ONE time NM took him on a boat trip, and they just HAPPEN to catch catch merfolk (AKA lust) Dream begged NM not to hurt him.

So instead, they brought him back to the castle, set up a tank, and put Blur in charge of guarding him!

There's also a few side plots. Like Dream learning to stand up to NM, (they have a very good bond, but NM is overprotective and controlling) and some queen platonic with Ink and Error!

A Long time Ago... When Keldor and Hordak joined forces and Eternia was facing perilous times, Primus got the powers of Grayskull, but that wasn't enough to fight the threat falling upon his land, he had to make alliances with the tribal leaders of Eternia, a new friendship was at hand. Soon, leaders, warriors, chiefs, and wizards like Vikor, Tytus, Hans Hammerhand, Sorceress Illumina, Queen Xerza, Ashielda, among others, sided with him in an effort to protect Eternia and the magical powers of Castle Grayskull. Among these allies, tribal leader Sharella I managed to attain the powers of the Goddess and become something else entirely, even people from distant lands, such as She La from Etheria and protector of Crystal Castle rallied to fight with Primus, because she knew that if Castle Grayskull was to fall, so would  the Crystal Castle sooner or later since the root of those powers laid upon Grayskull. Wizard Eldor soon proved to be a valuable ally as well, he became Primus' advisor. Wundar, the cosmic guardian joined the fight as well to follow in the footsteps of his mentor Zodac, and even the great Granamyr, the oldest and wisest of all dragons provided his help to resist the forces of Hordak. The war was fierce, many warriors, kings and queens perished, high prices were paid in all sides, but at the end Hordak was forced to run, and Skeletor (formerly known as Keldor) was imprisoned. In the last battle, Primus was mortally wounded while protecting Grayskull, and with his dying breath his spirit and powers trascended into his magic swords, waiting for someone worthy of wielding it again someday. Sorceress Veena, his wife, was broken hearted, and once the threat on Eternia was vanquished, she made a young villager called Teela Na the new Sorceress of Castle Grayskull and guardian of the 2 swords of power and honor. Teela Na had to pay a high price as well, she was in love with young eternian captain Duncan, and they were expecting a child. After the birth of their child, Duncan took his own daughter to raise her in the royal palace, while the Sorceress remained as the guardian of Castle Grayskull, watching her daughter Teela grow from the distance, and waiting for the day in which she would be able to tell her that she is truly her mother, and the heiress of a great power... Nikolay is also a tough one (I seem to only have tough ones??).

Tolerance of ‘nerdy’ behavior and conversation is a must. He adores botany and biological things immensely, and he really can be overbearing about it sometimes. Once he gets it out of his system, though? You’re gold.

Respect boundaries. Considering that he’s a Mordesh, it’s probably wiser to anyway, especially when revolving around particular aspects of his life--like his Vitalus transfusions. Most of these requirements come from an awareness of his own dangerous capabilities or understanding of his own limits of control. Take it from the Dom. He knows what he can and can’t take.

Be forthright about your attraction or desires. He appreciates directness as much as he appreciates intelligence--which is to say in abundance. Knowing what you want and what you like is key. He is a professor and does all he can to guide, experimentation is encouraged, but know either what your own boundaries/wants are, or assure him that you are assertive enough to know to tell him in whatever way when enough is enough.

Having to kill… well, anything. It’s not anything overly foreign to him with animals (sadly), as N has a pretty damn good survival instinct. Ask him to kill a sentient being (ANY sentient being, from marauders to Dominion) and… well it’s going to be a bit of a mental trainwreck. N hates hurting people, and is pretty reluctant about doing so. Asking him to go against that is a nightmare.
