Crystal skipped her usual round of wandering the forest this morning. Sure, it was beautiful outside, but.. she’d been a resident in town for weeks, and she hadn’t exactly taken the time to see what Gravity Falls itself had to offer. 

That, she quickly learned, was not much. Like, at all. Sure, there was the diner and the library and the arcade and all the good stuff, but nothing really caught her eye. It almost seemed like she’d be better off back in the forest, reading her spellbook and practicing her craft. That is, until she stopped outside of the Mystery Shack. 

She was caught in awe for a moment at how grand the appearance of the shack was, although some part of her suspected it was filled with fake attractions of every sort. Still, it had caught her attention. As she headed up the steps, she gathered her long, black hair from her shoulders and tossed it back, then gently pulled open the door to the gift shop.
