XDH Hard-ish Thought

I have a roughly 40 minute drive to work and I usually end up daydreaming during my commute, which probably isn't safe but oh well. Anyway, I've been doing this thing where I have a line-up of songs that I use as the backbone of these daydreams. I don't think it would translate well to a full fic, but I think it's chef kiss

The songs I play: Crazy Form, Ateez -> Teeth, Enhypen -> Cyberpunk, Ateez -> Taste, Stray Kids -> Wake Up, Ateez -> GGUM, Yeonjun

You may notice a trend. The choreo gets increasingly suggestive/sexy/hip thrust-y. So here's the scenario:

You're a sound tech (or some other job idk) for Xdinary Heroes, but also you're their girlfriend (yes this is an OT6). For whatever reason their recording session is delayed (I used a blackout for my excuse today) so you and the boys are chillin in one of the dance studios. Gunil decides to do an impromptu live to pass the time and chat with Villains. You have your dance playlist going and are half-heartedly doing the choreo.

Villains are saying that they can see you in the background, so Gunil asks if you're okay w that and you're like yea sure idc and then the list I wrote above starts playing and you get INTO it. (mind you, you're wearing a tanktop and joggers).

The boys are suspicious once Ateez starts playing, but Crazy Form isn't too intense but then they relax bc Teeth has some suggestive lyrics (sorta) but the dance is tame. They believe it's safe now. They are wrong.

Cyberpunk starts and you need a chair IMMEDIATELY but the only two in the room are occupied by Gunil and Jiseok. You decide to kick Jiseok off the chair bc he's more lenient w you. Now with each song, they start staring at you, Villains abandoned in chat. Gunil, Suengmin, Jiseok, and Jungsu are giving you THE dom stare which you, conveniently, don't notice. Jooyeon is absolutely delighted until he remembers that other people can currently see you, then he turns 😨. And poor Hyeongjun is trying to look Calm and Unbothered despite his bright flush giving him away.

At this point, Gunil has fully turned around to stare at you with The Look (pls know what i'm talking about). You are blissfully oblivious up until the first verse of GGUM. You are now fully aware that you fucked up and falter for a sec before continuing. You're already in trouble, so why not? You can see the 'dont you fucking dare' on their faces since they're all aware of Yeonjun's choreo. You do it anyway. After the song ends, Gunil asks "had your fun?" and you know he's at his limit.

You don't have a deathwish, so you change to a different playlist and pull your stolen chair up to the phone, right next to Gunil, so you can answer Villains' questions. The other five are sitting along the wall btw. You fuck up again but this time it really was an accident! You had to lean forward to read the comments without realizing your tanktop is cut low enough to put your tits on display. Queue: xdh panic. Responsible Leader Gunil immediately holds his hands up to cover you (nothing bad his palms are facing the camera). Jungsu gives you his sweater and the live turns somewhat normal.

And then you start bragging about how these boys would be lost without you, how you are the backbone of production, etc etc etc just singing your own praises to the fullest. So Seungmin interrupts you with a sarcastic sounding "okay princess we get it" BUT you know what that petname means and it has you snapping your jaw shut and sitting ramrod straight. Gunil hits him with an "O.de, be nice" and things get quiet for a minute until they get a text saying the issue with the studio is resolved so get your asses to rehearsal.

Gunil ends the live and turns to you with a hand clamping down on your thigh. Uh oh! You're in danger, haha. He, Seungmin, and Jungsu start ganging up on you with stuff like "did you have fun showing off what's ours" and "you better hope Villains don't post any of their screen recordings" (bc lets face it, obviously at least one person was recording). So you turn to the other three for help and they go "nope don't look at us, you brought this on yourself".

This is usually when I get to work, so I don't actually have an ending. Knowing me, you go through rehearsal like normal except super horny. Villains do post your choreo and the implications from the way they talk/look at you. Now the internet has seen you body roll and hip thrust and shake it like Wooyoung in crazy form. RIP to you ig cus there is SO gonna be a punishment or seven when you get home.

O.de/Seungmin

The sun peeking in through the window going directly into his eyes wakes him from his slumber. He realizes that the two of you fell asleep on the couch while having your movie night last night. You’re still peacefully tucked against his chest, hair having fallen over your face. He debates waking you up, so that both of you could move to the bed, but he’s actually quite comfy on the couch and clearly you are too. He makes the decision to carefully readjust, slipping a bit further down the couch, so that the sun is no longer in his eyes. His breath hitches slightly watching you stir in your sleep. Once you comfily settle back down on his chest he lets out that breath he was holding. He wraps his arms around you, placing a kiss to the top of your head before laying back down and drifting back to sleep. 

Junhan/Heyongjun

Hyeongjun isn’t always the biggest cuddler, but he does like knowing that you’re beside him during the night. Maybe even more than he thinks he does. “That compliment won’t get you out of me scolding you for playing video games all night,” you tell him. 

“How did you know?” he asked, surprised. 

“How else would you have been up to see the sunrise?” you remark. He makes a face that shows he knows he has been caught. 

“Still, let’s just enjoy this moment, you can scold me later.” He gives you a back hug, resting his head on your shoulder as the two of you watch the rest of the sunrise together.

he loves wrapping his whole body around you at all times. he very often comes home late and gives you a big back hug, resting his chin on your head with a silly laugh. or, he'll lean into you as you sit together while traveling, resting on your shoulder. that doesn't mean he doesn't find it incredibly adorable when you're the one to do it instead. you find him napping after a long morning of practice and you can't help yourself. you crawl into bed and snuggle into the expanse of his back, wrapping your arms over his waist and under his arm. it could just be your imagination, but you could swear you felt his heartbeat get faster—he pretends to be asleep so he doesn't embarrass you, or even himself. after that it becomes more common for him to be the little spoon as you get more used to it. he enjoys the feeling of being enveloped with the warmth of the person he loves most and you're happy to use him as your personal body-pillow. he thinks it's so cute when you cling onto him, given the fact he's much larger than you (that being said, he loooves squeezing you in his arms too, laughing because you complain he's suffocating you. the both of you are the clingiest ever when it comes to cuddling, always making a point to give each other the biggest hugs). you're overjoyed you can do something so simple for him and still make him feel so loved.

You felt that when you two were together, you didn’t have to worry too much about the future, but just stay in the moment together. He helped get your mind off of things.

But the space and silence that you usually enjoyed was starting to make you overthink. It was too much space and too much silence, and you were almost certain that if you went another day without seeing, talking to, hugging, and kissing your boyfriend you would go insane. Unlike yesterday when you hadn’t tried to get his attention, you had been trying to get his attention to make plans for the weekend all day. Given how all of your efforts had been unsuccessful so far, you were starting to think that he just didn’t want to talk to you at all for some reason. 

Every time you tried to strike a conversation with him, it would end as fast as it started. That was if you could even find Hyungjun in the first place. Once he disappeared from your sight, you had no idea where he went. He left the dorms several times without telling you, and you had gotten disappointed every time you thought he would be in his room, only to find it utterly empty. 

Whatever was on his mind, he seemed extremely busy with avoiding your very existence, and to be honest, it hurt. 

You decided that you had finally had enough. You were going to get his attention no matter what, even if you had to drag him away from a task. And weekend plans aside, you just frankly missed Hyungjun at this point. After dinner, you followed him on his way back to his room. As he flopped on his bed, you stood in the doorway, a small frown etched on your face. You weren’t even sure how to bring it up. You had never really had to talk about anything like this with Hyungjun before. What if it really was something you did? 

You knew how your exes would react; probably by calling you entitled and needy, or that you were making it all up entirely. But Hyungjun wasn’t like your exes— he was better than all of them combined, and was far more considerate than they could ever dream to be. You had no reason to be scared— as long as you hadn’t done something you weren’t aware of, Hyungjun wouldn’t make up excuses to ignore you. He would always tell you the truth, right?

“Did I do something?” You asked quietly. You didn’t sound mad at all, just confused, hoping that Hyungjun would catch onto what you were talking about in case you really did do something.

He looked up at you, blinking those curious eyes a few times before his eyebrows furrowed, “Did you?” You couldn’t see his facial expression too well thanks to his long bangs concealing most of his face. You sucked in a breath at the non-answer and hoped that he wasn’t glaring at you.

“I’m just confused because you’ve seemed kind of… distant lately. Today and yesterday too…” You trailed off, walking a bit further into the room to try to see his reaction better, hoping you’d be able to gauge whether this topic was worth pursuing further or if it would just end with both of you upset at each other.

“Oh… Did I?”

You nodded, “I know we aren’t the most affectionate couple, but… you haven’t hugged or kissed me for days... And every time I tried to get your attention today, you kept switching the subject. I barely saw you after this morning because you shut yourself in your room or were mysteriously out of the house. Is- Is everything okay?” You asked carefully, trying your best to not make it come off as if you were blaming him. 

“Did I really do… all that?” He sounded genuinely shocked, “Shit I’m so sorry, Y/n. I didn’t even think about how much I’d talked to you today or yesterday, my brain was so overloaded...” You felt a weight lift off your shoulders at his response. So it wasn’t either of your fault.

“Jun!” You scolded and smacked his arm lightly, “You really got me overthinking everything I did today. I thought I upset you somehow— you’ve never ignored me that much in a day.” You confessed, a lot more at ease now that he had cleared your worries.

“I’m sorry! I think I was just preoccupied with comeback preparations… The new songs are fun, but also hard. I keep thinking about my riff and- I don’t know, I just want the performance to be perfect, you know? But… Can I make it up to you?” He asked sweetly and you raised an eyebrow, wondering what he had in mind. 

When he reached over to tug you down onto the bed, you gasped. Hyungjun was rarely bold with physical affection. Most of his hugs and kisses were delivered at predictable times, and only lasted for a few seconds due to his own shy demeanour. You adored how flustered he got around you— found it adorable— but this Hyungjun was completely different; one you had never seen before. Not only had he pulled you onto his lap, but his lips were on your neck before you even had time to say anything.

You had only made out with him once since you had started dating, and neck kisses were far bolder of a move than you expected from him. They were sweet pecks placed to whatever skin he could reach, and once he had you situated so that you were facing him, he dove in to taste your lips as well. You closed your eyes and eagerly kissed him back. If this was the Hyungjun that you got from expressing your disappointment that he had been ignoring you, you would gladly take it every day.

He held your waist, one hand squeezing your hip as he deepened the kiss, slipping his tongue tentatively past your lips. Though the action was bold, you could tell how nervous he was trying something new like that. It felt good, though. Really good. Your tongues intertwined softly, and you could taste all of Hyungjun. You had always been addicted to the taste of his lips since you shared your first kiss, but this was completely different, and one hundred times more addicting. 

You were breathless by the time you pulled away, unsure of how long you had been kissing him, but absolutely certain that you wanted more. Your boyfriend seemed to share the same sentiment, as his lips lingered on the side of your lips, pressing gentle kisses there while he caught his breath as well.

“I didn’t know you had that in you…” You commented, still breathing a bit heavier. As soon as your boyfriend heard your words, he buried his head in your neck and you giggled. There was your shy Hyungjun back.

“I didn’t either… Just felt so bad… Didn’t want you to think I was ignoring you…” He mumbled cutely, and you cooed. Your fingers were still tangled in his hair, but you let one drop from his locks and pushed his chin up so he was looking at you.

“Did I ever tell you… that you’re a really good kisser?” You whispered with a giggle. Hyungjun grinned, though his cheeks were bright red; whether from your compliment or leftover from the heated kiss— you weren’t sure.

“You too.” He said back, leaning forward to taste your lips again. You could tell there was barely any nervousness this time, as he didn’t waste time in pulling you closer to him and pouring all his passion into the kiss. 

You had yet to say those 3 precious words to him, but you were absolutely positive that after tonight there were no other words to encapsulate your feelings towards Hyungjun. You were in love with him, and your heart was practically shouting that he was the only one for you… for the rest of your life.

Gunil could go either way in terms of being a boy or girl dad but, lowkey he’s a boy dad.

Let’s be honest, Gunil gives bbq!dad playing football with his son while you make lemonade in the kitchen. He’s so baseball hat dad coded.

He wanted kids immediately after you started dating (which didn’t happen).

Was involved 110% in the pregnancy but was so scared of the delivery. Cried when you told him you guys were gonna have a baby.

FORT-BUILDER #1. Buys a projector just so they can watch their favorite shows (with him of course) in it.

Loser!dad but, in an endearing way. He’ll say stupid dad-jokes that are only a little funny to your kid and they’ll still laugh at them (even when they’re teenagers) because it’s their dad type of way.

Number one supporter of whatever your kid wants to do in the future. Will also let them change their mind six billion times with a smile on his face.

Truly the best father. Most reliable and will always be there for them whenever they need it. The car broke down at 3am? He’s dragging himself out of bed to go get them. First breakup? He’s taking them to the store to buy all their comfort snacks. WiFi’s slow? He’s restarting the router. Spider? It’s being put outside immediately. Anything they want and he’ll come running because he just loves them that much.

Gunil was truly born to be a dad. Although, he wouldn’t have found it to be a deal breaker if you didn’t want any, because he respects your choice and loves you more than himself, however he’d be a little sad.

────KIM JUNGSU ( 김정수 )

Jungsu is a boy dad through and through. But, hear me out, he’d love a daughter and would NOT be upset if he got one, but you’re really the only special girl in his heart—until you’re replaced by a mini version of yourself.

He was meant to be a family man so, expect more kids in the future. About three, if not four, probably.

You told him you were pregnant and he proposed right away. You were actually not allowed to leave his side.

He treated you like royalty (and still does) when you were pregnant with his kid; got you anything you wanted, kept the house at a reasonable temperature, went to all the appointments with you. It’s almost as if he was the one carrying the child to be honest.

It seems you thank God for this man as their father everyday.

Jungsu also really had a soft spot for how you looked pregnant with his kid (in a sfw way), he just thought you were so cute. You’d also often wear his clothes instead of your own because they were more comfortable.

After the kid was born it was love at first sight—a smile pressed to his face and never left.

Actually, he asks if you want to have another just about every hour. He even proposed you had another right after the first was born—you were barely out the hospital.

Was the most attentive new!parent, always tended to your baby when they’d cry in the middle of the night—would also end up falling asleep next to them because he found them so adorable and couldn’t take his eyes off them.

Speaking of, Jungsu would be the type of dad that would be overwhelmed by how cute the kid is. He pinches their cheeks ALL the time. Tells you how cute they are whenever he gets the chance. Gushes over every little (new and old) thing that they do. He’s truly obsessed.

────KWAK JISEOK ( 곽지석 )

Jiseok needs twins, it’s non-negotiable. He would love one of each, but would definitely end up with either two boys or two girls.

You will end up having lots of kids because let’s be real, he suits being a dad to a ton of kids.

Even if you asked, Jiseok would actually not have a favorite between the two—there’s enough love in his heart for about 1600 more, he says.

He’s also so stay-at-home dad coded.

He’s the most unserious parent. He would try and carry them on each arm like a balancing act and make you anxious. But then, he’d also do bicep curls with them just to see you laugh.

Was scared to break them at first because they were so small, but now he play-wrestles them both at the same time.

He couldn’t wait for them to walk so he could play chase with them around the house like little ducks.

Speaking of ducks, Jiseok is the #1 bath time supporter, and refers to himself as “rubber duck” to get them into it. He even made up a song so that it would be fun.

Jiseok is a high-energy dad, sometimes they wear out before he does.

FORT-BUILDER #2. You often find their room in a state because your husband has built them, yet again, another fort.

He’s the type of dad who teaches them computer games early on because he’s a nerd (they started with Minecraft and named a dog after you). He also teaches them guitar, even as their hands aren’t big enough to play more than one (half) a cord.

────OH SEUNGMIN ( 오승민 )

Oh Seungmin is a girl dad. Do not argue. Did yall see him with Seola? Now imagine that’s actually his. He would never put her down, you’d actually have to fight to get to hold your baby.

Already had a billion girl names picked out before you knew the gender because he was SURE. What can I say? He was just destined to have a daughter.

However, either way (girl or boy) the kid would be loved and super spoiled.

Wants about 100 more once he sees them but has trouble imagining having to share his attention—he’s already so obsessed with just the first.

While you were pregnant, Seungmin would talk to your bump and would refer to the kid as, “his little princess” because, once again, GIRL.DAD. (it’s canon).

Seungmin acquired so many (DIY) skills as a dad because whatever they asked for he’d try his best to give them.

The #1 involved dad. Recital? He’s in the front row. They want to take pottery? He’s googling classes. They want purple hair? He’s already asking you (as the gloves are being put on). They want McDonald’s ice cream at midnight? They’re already buckled up. Whatever, and I mean whatever they want, they’re getting.

Seungmin would also have your kid FITTED TF UP. Drip or drown: baby addition. He’d make video ootd’s and send them to you while you were at work.

He actually vlogs his days out with them and sends them to you so you don’t feel left out, because he cared about you first (and still does).

They always come home with a new outfit. What can he say, the kids shoe game is going to be strong.

────HAN HYEONGJUN ( 한형준 )

Hyeongjun would love either a boy or girl, but has a special place in his heart for a daughter.

Hyeongjun was and still is the most gentle father and husband. He took care of you before, during and after the pregnancy. And then he especially took care of your kid, literally NEVER letting them cry for more than a couple minutes (even after they were able to take care of themself).

He’s not someone looking to have more than two kids to be honest, and if your first is hyperactive, he might even settle for one (however, he’d like them to have a sibling to grow up with).

He cried when he first saw them and was shy, then he picked them up and never put them back down.

Hyeongjun got better at being a dad—he was never bad, it was just a little rough at first because he was unsure of what to do.

Hyeongjun also teaches them non-conformative roles; i.e gender stereotypes. His kids are wearing whatever they think looks pretty—just like their dad.

He would also teach them to be little rockstars, putting on shows in your living room.

He would have matching hair (mostly pigtails) with his daughter and would come running in to show you each and every time because he’s proud of his masterpiece—they’re lopsided.

Paints their nails together, and leaves the pink mess around his cuticles because HIS kid did that.

They’re actually inseparable by the way so, have fun being the second-favorite parent.

On a more serious note though: he thanks you everyday for giving him his little best friend.

────LEE JOOYEON ( 이주연 )

Jooyeon is a boy dad first, because he needs someone to match his energy—wrestling and running around—but once he has a girl he’ll never go back.

He needs like four kids and he’ll be happy but, if you don’t want any more he’ll settle for one and still be happy.

Despite being unserious dad #2, he’ll make sure his kids know they can go to him for anything. You know that too, as he was always attentive with you.

After the kid was born Jooyeon became so easily attached, always up in its little personal space.

Kisses for you, kisses for them.

He actually thinks he died when you put the first tiny outfit on them (the onesies with closed hands and feet and a warm hat) to take them home from the hospital.

Jooyeon is also a menace to society, so having more than one of them means you’re going to have drawings on your walls and a messy house BUT, you also get cute pictures for the fridge—some your husband drew—and memories to last a lifetime.

So incredibly loser!core gamer!dad but they LOVE him. I mean, how could they not?

He plays dress up with his daughter, and lets her do his makeup; he ends up looking like a clown but doesn’t take it off even after they’re done playing.

He also plays dress to impress (or whatever the not cancelled one is called) with his daughter and buys her robux.

He’ll play computer / video games with his son (definitely got him to play league).

Jooyeon is the type of dad to give them ice-cream for dinner (he definitely made them vegetable haters).

He’s definitely the type of dad to say “don’t tell mom” before doing most things, and acts innocent with them when you find out.

Expect them to gang-up on you. Spoiler: you’re never winning an argument if their dad is involved.
