disclaimer: all of my readings are for entertainment purposes only and should be taken with a grain of salt, as these idols are strangers.

this reading was done on aug 24th, 2023. i used the ‘dreaming way’ deck and caroline myss' 'archetype cards' deck. i also pulled up the member's birth charts for a bit more guidance.

Whatever love language his partner wants, is Gunil’s love language. I did two pulls here because he was so unclear with his feelings. Bottom line, is he isn’t sure of his love language because he kind of just goes with what his partner wants. Gunil has a tendency to become extremely infatuated with people and is willing to give himself completely to them. I imagine someone kneeling, helpless at an altar. There’s a sense of feeling lost and confused in terms of love right now, so he’s not exactly sure what his love language is. He wants to desperately make someone happy, playing with different ideas of what would be nice. Very idealistic in love and finds it hard to stay in reality in this aspect of his life - like a rock in pretty much every other part of his life and ideally, wants his partner to lean on him, but it seems that he would unintentionally allow them to knock him over and call it love. Once he heals, he gives knight vibes hardcore - chivalrous, a bit traditional, devotion is a huge theme here, wants to see his partner try and make leaps and bounds. He wants to worship, but needs to learn to take care of himself and set boundaries first.

Acts of service is Jungsu’s love language. He tends to automatically take a more dominant role in his relationships, at least emotionally. Truly lives up to that “mom” title - softly guiding, compassionate, warm and super kind. He wants to relieve his partner’s burdens so that they can shine again. Literally, picking up the pieces of their life to lighten the load, I imagine a mother goose character rounding up her gosling children. He also seems to know what to say to make his partner feel good. On the other hand, Jungsu needs to be careful with doing things to get his partner to “shut up,” whether it’s in a half-assed manner, he’s doing it while sighing through it, or teetering into people-pleaser territory. Has the ability to be someone his partner can lean on in a more tangible manner. 

Quality time is Jiseok’s love language. He loves to kind of follow his partner around, sticking his nose into what they’re doing and simply being around them. I imagine a puppy whose tail keeps wagging as they sit and stare at their owner. Would love parallel play - helps break up the monotony of doing mundane things and he’s got someone to mess around with, pick their brain, etc. The deepest way to an emotional connection is to connect through the brain first, the heart and the mind go very hand in hand for him, and the best way to connect through the brain is to spend time together. Long talks, storytelling are all things he likes. 

Acts of service and words of affirmation are Seungmin’s love languages. Just want to comment on the amount of depth this guy has - for a Gemini, he reminds me more of a Scorpio with the way he operates in relationships. Relationships for him are something that transforms both him and his partner, and he wants to see them grow even (and especially) if it’s painful. Seungmin tends to go for jaded types, but not without cause. He’s the type to do your laundry when you can’t, make you a meal or get food when you can’t get out of bed, and inevitably, hoist you up by your bootstraps and get you moving again. It’s all out of love and the necessity to be connected on such a visceral level. The type to give you hard truths, but also tell you that you’ll be okay in the end. There’s a deep fire that burns when he’s with a partner that makes him feel alive - can be a little aggressive or abrasive with how he gives his love sometimes. I imagine someone throwing blinds open abruptly to flood a dark room with light, a “come on, get up, let’s go,” and holding hands to go take a shower for the first time in a couple days. Very wise, probably has been through what he likes to help others through. Also, refuses to settle for anyone who isn’t up for a transformation, which makes him appear aloof and not available to most.

Acts of service is Hyeongjun’s love language. He has a hard time verbally speaking his truth, putting words to his feelings and has a real tendency to slip up in his speech often (I think he mentioned something about this recently, preferring to perform and paint as a way to express?). It actually seems that he’s convinced he needs to be more of a physical touch or words of affirmation kind of partner - very naïve lover, I don’t think he’s had much experience, if any at all, in terms of love. His ideas of love he absorbs from the world around him (media, his parents, his bandmates, etc). The best way to show his love would be through different, more practical ways, instead of big, poetic words or throwing himself at his partner. He is surprisingly level headed when it comes to his partners and takes on an almost fatherly role to them. Hyeongjun also tends to be attracted to those who have big woes - very similar to Seungmin in that he would cook his partner a meal if they haven’t eaten, sit and let his partner vent (and give advice!), etc. However, there is less of that “tough love” aspect, so much as there is a humanitarian, “you’re human, you deserve to be happy” kind of energy. If his partner needed to spend time just rotting in bed, he’d probably join and make sure they had basic needs met until they felt better enough to do it themselves. Runner up is gift giving - very contemplative and thoughtful, he would be good at making playlists, paintings, etc for his partner and it’s a great outlet for big feelings.

Physical touch and acts of service are Jooyeon’s love languages. In relationships, he tends to really embody his Virgo mars - very warm, patient and giving to his partners, he wants to be someone that they can look up to for support. He is extremely similar to Gunil surprisingly, however Jooyeon has an easier time not losing himself in infatuation and can keep himself afloat easier. This seems to be the one aspect in his life where he is extremely grounded and can be a pillar of support for those that he loves. He has a lot of patience for the world around him - I want to note that even though he seems energetic and bouncy, his energy overall is very steady and rooted. This was also the most obvious physical touch reading I’ve gotten in a minute - he loves hugs and will not hesitate to give big ol’ squeezes. The act of hugging, cuddling, physical contact, etc helps him to regulate and connect more than any other ways - he finds it easier to physically express his love, instead of verbally. There’s a sense that he feels like he’s good at hugging/physical contact, but not always the best with words. Deep, deep down, Jooyeon is also a bit of a romantic and tends to look for “the one” when he’s dating. He wants someone to take care of and dote on.

You, being dared by your friend group to tweet and made a boyfriend application, initially started out as a joke, thinking that no one would applied it. Upon the tweet going viral and many applications being sent in, he decided that he would shoot his shot, even if he doesn’t know a single shit about what is the sun, moon, rising in astronomy.

LEE JOOYEON: another xdinary heroes’ member. residential cool guy. people at his university who is a fan of his likes him even though he’s a clumsy Prince Charming (nicknamed by hyeonjun). always keep his calm and is very collected, although he often offers bad ideas for the group, sometimes for fun and other time, he’s serious about his idea. he exists without a thought (which y/n strives to be)

More of a homebody, the type to prefer to stay in, order takeout and just watch a movie, rather than go out. His partner is someone he can unwind with and come home to at the end of the day. A/n: Since I used second person, I couldn't really make it female reader, I'm sorry--. But I still hope you enjoy it! Also, I have not done a bulleted list in years either, funnily enough.

So, I dug into his Venus astrology, and that’s where some of this info comes from :) [Scorpio Venus 11th house]. Since the 11th house deals with friendship and goals. If you wanna be his lover, you got to get with his friends. [Wannabe by Spice Girls, his literal love song]. Scorpios love like no other and are super loyal and passionate, all good signs.

Anyway–

You were probably friends with Gunil, and he was like, “I’d like to introduce you to my bandmates! I’m positive you guys would get along!” And the four of them were handsome, but one stuck out to you. He had long hair and glasses on, and your heart skipped a literal beat as you looked at him.

“And I’m Jooyeon!” He extended his hand towards you, and you shook, and you felt like melting into the floor. But you have to act cool, so you shake back firmly and smile. Acting as if he wasn't making you melt and that he wasn't literally your type and more standing in front.

[Little did you know that Jooyeon was feeling the same thing].

Cue to the rest of the boys wanting you to watch them practice, and when you give feedback, they thoroughly listen. Which mostly consists of, “Omg, you guys are so cool.” And they all collectively decided you were their supporter that day.

Which led to more practice sessions and getting closer to the boys and Jooyeon’s heart? Exploding at the thought that his friends like you and you interact so well with them. And that you fit in their little group so well his heart is combusting at every second.

It takes less than four sessions for the rest of the boys to figure out [well, Jooyeon wasn’t exactly quiet about it]. That he had a big crush on you so, they poke and prod at him every time you're near. But you honestly think they’re teasing him since he’s the youngest. So, you don’t question it.

It isn’t until Gunil is walking with you to the practice room. And stops before he gets to it, “Do you like Jooyeon?” Your mouth moves faster than your brain as you go, “Is it that obvious?” And he bursts out laughing, and you’re ??? and he goes, “No, not really. But I’m glad.” For the rest of the practice, you’re just in a daze trying to figure out what Gunil meant by his statement. Hyeongjun comes over and sits down next to you, knowing that you need some company and probably someone to talk to as well.

Jooyeon wants to be next to you as well, but he wasn't fast enough. He is pulled into a conversation while all he wants to do is talk with you. When he realizes all he wants is an excuse to be with you all the time. He realizes that he has romantic feelings for you.

Hyeongjun asks you what’s up after a few more minutes of silence, and you tell him about the situation. He’s a good listener, and when he hears what’s stumping you, he shrugs and goes, “Simple. Jooyeon likes you, and Gunil was confirming that you felt the same.” You gasp, and he laughs with a nod, and with a sigh of relief, you giggle too. “Don’t tell him I told you. You’re both my friends, and I want you two happy. So, be surprised, okay?” You nod, “Of course.”

When Jooyeon can finally escape the conversation, he comes over and sits down on your other side. He kicks back, and Hyeongjun gets up and joins the five others in whatever conversation they are holding. And Jooyeon can’t help the sigh of relief. Because while he was ‘in their conversation.’ he had made a life-changing, make or break, decision. And he didn’t want the rest of the boys to hear (although they were most certainly listening in).

Just as you turn to look at him as if to ask him why he wasn’t participating in the band convo anymore, he goes, “I have something to tell you.” You nod, not sure if he was going where you were thinking. But you hold out the tiniest hope, and he goes, “I have feelings for you.” You let out an ‘oh?’ and he goes, “Romantic specifically, it’s okay if you don’t reciprocate them. I just needed to get them off my chest.” You smile and go, “Well, lucky for you, I have romantic feelings for you as well.”

[Jungsu, Junhan, and Gunil are five bucks richer].

He would make sure your first date was perfect. A little diner with a jukebox so he could get up and change the music to showcase his feelings [a total romantic 💖]. This is where you guys get to know each other from a romantic standpoint, how you two show love; you got him flowers, and his heart has never felt fuller. [Once those flowers die and he can no longer revive them in a vase, you best believe he presses them.] You two share a milkshake (which was more like three milkshakes). The both of you would be super giggly and say he gets embarrassed he would put his hair behind his ears (possibly even from saying a cheesy pickup line). He would walk hand and hand with you wherever you go from this date on. And if he isn’t holding your hand while walking. What is the point?

It’s probably the third date before you guys share your first kiss: I’m picturing this man taking you to a picturesque place like a gazebo and kissing you for the first time under it [He totally didn’t have Jungsu take a picture of the moment–] (it's his lockscreen, bestie--).

Remember how “Friendship never ends” Literally has so many couple rings and necklaces he shares with you. Since he is an idol, he can’t have ‘couple clothes’, but you best believe he always wears the necklaces you both have. Whether they say a best friend or my love, he can’t seem to stop buying them for the two of you guys to wear.

Along with that, he probably makes you songs, whether you ever hear them, that’s up to him. But he definitely makes mixtapes for you, has a playlist with all the songs he played on your first date. And every [monthly] anniversary, he would play those songs for you two, sit down and listen to or dance to or play along with creating new memories on top of the first memories of being together. [He asked you to be his, the night of the first date because he knew. He didn’t need any more reassurance that you were the one he wanted– {neither did you}].

You still buy him flowers. After every showcase, you’re there with a bouquet for the boys and one just for Jooyeon. And on the small card, the flowers have you always fill up the card front to back, full of love, and still feel like you express more to him. He can barely hold back his tears as he takes the bouquet in one of his hands and wraps you up in his arms. Holding you tightly to him and you hug back just as tightly as the rest of the boys' gag. Esp Jiseok who goes, ‘Get a room!’ You can’t help but laugh into Jooyeon’s hair and say that he’s just jelly of us’ partially into his ear and to the crowd. “I heard that!” before Jooyeon smirks and goes, “You were meant to!”

Speaking of which– funnily enough, yours and Seungmin’s friendship grew stronger too. Because the two of you have a shared ringtone for each other–which you best believe it’s Impossible by Nothing But Thieves--he specifically dedicated that song to you–he will pick up no matter the time if he is in deep sleep or not. He will wake up to hear you, which you have agreed to help him wake Jooyeon up for schedules. You set your alarm, [hopefully you don’t sleep through yours as he does–] and call him as Seungmin inches the blanket away from Jooyeon to wake him up. All the boys are grateful for that but esp Seungmin.

He is the type that would care so much to get up and have breakfast with you at the crack of dawn, just to be with you cause he is whipped for you– [the feeling is mutual tho obv].

Honestly, in general, the strong friendships you had with all of the boys just grew y’know.

Anyway–

This man is a tease, and you want cuddles and tell him in front of everyone. This man can get super awkward still but, he’ll say something along the lines of, “Cuddling? In this economy?” And when you scoff at him, he smiles before pulling you onto his lap and cuddling with you in front of everyone, the awkwardness leaving him as he gets to hold you in his arms.

He would live for peppering kisses all over your face and just like holding your hand if he doesn’t get to do that every day. What's the point of getting up in the first place?

You guys would play loads of video games together. Whether it is with the boys or just him, as much as I would love to say he’d let you win. He wouldn’t. He’s playing fair and square and wants to win the most. He is an absolute caring person but brutal in video games. Whenever he loses, pouty baby, cue to you peppering his face in cuddles. The dorm is where most of your dates are due to video games/movies. But he loves going to the gaming cafes and gaming with you there too.

But he would absolutely, regardless, he would want you to be happy and if you’re pouty because you’ve lost a few times. He would help you win the next round and then pepper your face with kisses.

Gunil: “When I said you guys would get along def didn’t expect this–.” The two of you would stick your tongues out at him. Being the childish carefree ones, you are.

Really, this relationship would be absolutely amazing! Because this man? Funny, plays bass, guitar, and is overall good-hearted? Package deal. Yeah, cocky and a bit of a troublemaker, but it’s what makes his personality. Which I’m sure the two of you would share plenty of--

He would support your dreams with all his heart as you do his. The two of you, couple goals, always encouraging each other. And there for one another. Ugh, yeah, that’s the stuff.

He’s a good guy, take care of him for us, okay? 💖
