This prime access is going to be a bit different for me, because:
I'll be joining @tbgkaru and @royalprat-art to co-host a fashionframe contest!!
(poster and art made by @royalprat-art, event will be streamed on @tbgkaru 's twitch channel here, prizes provided by Digital Extremes and Xaku Prime Access details can be found here)
I'm really really excited to be a part of this and you all should check it out November 24th!!
As I'm also putting my Xaku Prime Access pack giveaway into the prize pool, this of course means I won't be running my own giveaway event here on Tumblr as I usually do. Sorry to anyone who may have been looking forward to it, but I think overall it's for the best as school has pretty much eaten up all of my time and energy to make stuff atm. Still, this is going to be a really fun alternative and I hope to see some of you guys there!
#also no prime trailer means i would need to put more effort into generating ideas and i'm honestly so tapped on creativity rn lol#realizing this will be my first time talking on a livestream which is really exciting!!#warframe#UpsideDownSmore's free wf stuff#free wf pa#xaku prime#xaku prime access

The time has come again! Hotfixing will be paused while we lock in for Warframe: 1999 (releasing in December!) and the separate Xaku Prime release, which is coming November 13!
One important note: during this downtime, the iOS team may continue to Hotfix to tackle performance improvements exclusive to the Mobile platform!
Devstream 182 came and went! For a short and sweet recap of some highlights (or if you missed it and somehow landed here instead):
Xaku Prime approaches with the Trumna Prime and Quassas Prime, coming November 13!
They’re also joined by the Artifex Prime Syandana and the Necra Prime Operator/Drifter suits!
The Technocyte Coda (or Infested Liches), bring 13 Coda Weapons! To see more on these fellas, you can read up on the recap!
The light Trinity Rework has been revealed! Expect light touchups to make her more powerful in the current era of Warframe, with a focus on Ability Duration, Well of Life, and a replaced passive. For more, check out the recap!
And, of course, our comms channel isn’t closed! We’re still collecting feedback, reading bug reports and continuing our usual day-to-day operations on the communications side! To note a few bright spots in the timeline between now and November 13:
Prime Time, Warframe International and Devshorts continue!
As said, Devstream 182 has come and gone! To read up on everything, check the recap!
Quest to Conquer Cancer has a few days left! To see progress live, check it out here!
The QTCC Dojo Showcaseends soon, too! Submit any Dojo’s by October 31st to enter the showcase!
Tennotober 2024 has a few days left, too! We’ve got the usual Tennotober guidelines here, as well as the Captura guidelines here!
Thank you for your patience and understanding, Tenno! Xaku Prime Access arrives November 13!

Prime Report for November 2024
XAKU PRIME TIME BABY WOOO
Hello. I have finally crawled out of The Pit and have managed to exist again. We are now living in the future that is Xaku, and what a brilliant future it is with 1999 just about the corner.
Now with our skin clear, crops watered, and the neighborhood skeleton spookin' it up, let's put our spectacles on and see what's ahead.
Prime Access
Xaku Prime was released into Prime Access on Nov 13th, accompanied by Trumna Prime and Quassus Prime. They should be hanging out there until at least the middle of February, so likely we'll get some info about the next prime after the new year.
This also put Baruuk Prime into the vault with the dethroning of Sevagoth Prime, meaning that relics containing Baruuk Prime, Cobra & Crane Prime, and Afuris Prime parts are currently unavailable.
Let's look at the future rotation schedules to guess what to expect next. It pays not to be caught off guard.
(Speculation and Prime Resurgence under the cut)
First, for context, let's remember what's happened already.
Recent Primes:
Grendel Prime Gauss Prime Protea Prime Sevagoth Prime Xaku Prime
I was upset at first at DE breaking their previously established pattern, and that does make the next prime hard to predict until we understand if they intend to return to the form of female-female-male-male etc, or if they've decided to take on a different pattern. This year of primes will be a bit of wild guessing, but hopefully by the end of next year we'll be understanding the new situation.
Next Likely Primed Warframes (By release date):
Lavos Yareli Caliban Gyre Styanax
We have a fairly even split of female and male warframes coming up in the order, so it will be interesting to see what pattern they make out of it. I personally hope that both Lavos and Yareli get their days in the spotlight sooner rather than later.
As for vaultings, now that Baruuk Prime and his weapons have gone, let's look at who's next on the chopping block.
Vaulting Order:
Hildryn Prime (with Larkspur Prime and Shade Prime) Wisp Prime (with Fulmin Prime and Gunsen Prime) Grendel Prime (with Zylok Prime and Masseter Prime) Gauss Prime (with Acceltra Prime and Akarius Prime) Protea Prime (with Velox Prime and Okina Prime) Sevagoth Prime (with Epitaph Prime and Nautilus Prime)
So, plan accordingly, as Hildryn Prime is likely going away in mid to late February.
Prime Resurgence
Now, let's talk different rotations.
Currently available are Garuda Prime and Khora Prime, with Nagantaka Prime, Corvas Prime, Hystrix Prime, and Dual Keres Prime. BUT they are only available until Nov 21st at about 2pm ET. At that time they will leave, so you only have 5 days to get your relics!
They will be replaced by Ivara Prime (with Baza Prime and Aksomati Prime) and Oberon Prime (with Silva & Aegis Prime and Sybaris Prime). They are likely to stick around until about Dec 19th and leave either just before or just after Christmas.
This is the point where I was going to talk about Ember Prime and Rhino Prime, but unfortunately it looks like they both went back to the vault on Oct 24th. They both stayed out for about three months, so I guess that's something we'll need to expect for the future heirloom releases instead of having them for half a year. The 'limited time' this time was truly limited. Next time I will have to make a more concerted effort to escape The Pit within a reasonable time frame.
So, let's look at the Prime Resurgence schedule this year, and see who we can expect coming up. At the beginning of the year there was a quick-fire resurgence event, so we'll include that and then the other rotations throughout the year.
This Year's Monthly Prime Resurgence:
Dec 21 2023-Jan 4 2024; Mesa Prime, Hydroid Prime, Ivara Prime, and Oberon Prime
Jan 4-Jan 18 2024; Volt Prime, Loki Prime, Nova Prime, Trinity Prime
Jan 18-Feb 1; Saryn Prime, Valkyr Prime, Atlas Prime, Vauban Prime
Feb 1-Feb 15; All above, Rhino Prime, Nyx Prime
Feb 15-March 14; Banshee Prime, Mirage Prime
March 14-April 11; Titania Prime, Gara Prime
April 11-May 9; Inaros Prime, Ash Prime
May 9-June 6; Equinox Prime, Wukong Prime
June 6-July 4; Chroma Prime, Zephyr Prime
July 4-Aug 1; Harrow Prime, Nekros Prime
July 20-Oct 24; Ember Prime, Rhino Prime (Heirloom Event)
Aug 1-Aug 29; Mesa Prime, Limbo Prime
Aug 29-Sept 26; Octavia Prime, Nezha Prime
Sept 26-Oct 24; Nova Prime, Trinity Prime
Oct 24-Nov 21; Garuda Prime, Khora Prime
Nov 21-Dec 19(?); Ivara Prime, Oberon Prime
This year featured two long requested returns in Titania and Ember, with many other warframes returning from long droughts. In this calendar year we didn't see Frost Prime or Mag Prime, though they were available for four months last year in their heirloom event so it isn't that surprising. I believe the frame with the longest unvaulting drought now should be Nidus Prime, who seemingly hasn't been in any prime resurgence events at all yet. Other than that from what I can tell the only other primes not included are the two most newly vaulted ones, Revenant Prime and Baruuk Prime. Perhaps we will see Nidus and Revenant emerge some time early next year.
If you think I'm missing anyone, please let me know so we can figure out who to expect next year. It looks like instead of one month rotations they are in rotations of exactly 28 days, with the rotation switching over on thursday.
I think I've accomplished most of what I wanted today. If they announce another event of some type, I'll be back here to let you know. For now I believe we should brace for the coming of the storm, and shortly after it, the new year to ring in a hopeful Y2K.
If you have comments or suggestions I'd love to hear them, and thank you for reading, even if you just read the most relevant bits. This report is for you just as much as it is myself!
#warframe#warframe prime report#Xaku Prime#lots of lists and predictions in this one#you know I could make these shorter if I did them more often#I did them more last year#but you can only do so much in The Pit so I had to pick my battles#the wifi down there's real bad you know#anyways. now I need to freak out about techrot and the arg some more

The next warframe to be primed has to be either Yareli, Xaku, or Protea. I don’t usually buy prime access but if the cosmetics are even halfway decent my wallet is fucked. That’s three frames in a row that I REALLY want to have everything I can for.

Quick warframe wishlist since I'm in the early game and I really like making lists and I'll probably get distracted by 12 other frames if I don't write it down:
Mag (missing everything but neuroptics)
Oberon (missing systems (I LOVE RAILJACK MISSIONS))
Gara (FUCK I'm missing all her components)
Gyre (I don't even have her blueprint purchased afaik)
Grendel Prime (I'd rather grind for his Prime than grind for his normal form)
Gauss and/or Gauss Prime (I need this fucking twink)
THIS IS WHERE VAUBAN PRIME WOULD BE IF I WAS ABLE TO ACCESS HIM.
Saryn (Don't even have her blueprint)
Lavos (how)
Xaku (no components but I have their blueprint)

Prime Report for TennoCon (July) 2024 - SPECIAL EDITION
hey what the fuck
Prime Access
SO some stuff happened at TennoCon. Let's talk about what it might mean for the future.
Currently in Prime Access is Protea Prime, along with Velox Prime and Okina Prime. As was revealed at TennoCon, she's slated to be replaced by Sevagoth Prime, alongside Epitaph Prime and Nautilus Prime in August, when they release with The Lotus Eaters, a planned August 2024 update coming to Warframe.
Protea Prime was released on May 1, 2024, making her guaranteed 90 day reign end just about August 1. They've almost all been slated to go a little longer than that though, so it's likely that the update will come out mid August. I'd bet it comes either August 14th or August 21st, but that's just throwing darts at a dart board. Maybe if they have all their ducks in a row we'll get it on the 7th. Most of these dates are less than a month away, so it's best to keep this in mind if you wanted to get her.
This is great. He looks great. But it does raise one question:
Where's Xaku Prime?
Speculation under the cut.
Sevagoth Prime being announced as the next one was a surprise. Mainly because, any way you slice it, he's way out of the order of expectation. Usually they follow a pattern that organizes the Prime warframes by gender, but then goes loosely in release order. Male-Male-Female-Female-Male-Male-etc, with frames being slotted into those slots according to the pattern they were released in loosely, with maybe two being switched around here or there.
Now, Xaku was always going to be an interesting case and exception (sort of) to this, because Xaku is pluriform as they are made up of the remnants of multiple warframes implied to be of multiple genders. But to me this means that they could fit into whatever slot they happen to match to, since they are, in a way, of both/all genders. Xaku was the first frame to come out after Protea, so it'd make sense that they'd be slotted right after her, which is what I've been expecting this whole time since I wrote about it in January.
Instead, Sevagoth is jumping two slots to take the slot after Protea, also jumping over Lavos, who is the next male warframe in line. I'd expect there'd need to be a pretty decent reason for this big of an upset in their pattern. They didn't give much of one, and in fact Xaku wasn't mentioned at all during TennoCon as far as I could tell. I had sort of hoped they'd at least say they were coming back to Xaku but DE made no mention of any other future primes or the frames around Sevagoth in any notable way.
Now, that's not a bad thing necessarily. These patterns have never been officially announced as far as I can tell, but they've been pretty closely followed for the general fairness of the prime process. Following close to a pattern means they aren't playing favorites choosing warframes to prime, and that no frame gets forgotten for getting a Prime. But there could be plenty of reasons for them deciding to or wanting to change it up. Maybe they wound up having a few in process at once and Sevagoth wound up being the one that was far enough in the process to do next, with Xaku and Lavos still needing their concepts refined, something like that.
I know there's been some anxiety in the past around Xaku getting a prime as their whole concept doesn't lend itself easily to the concept of a prime warframe in the same way that almost every other warframe does, but I definitely think if Xaku weren't going to get a prime at all, they would have already told us. They know people are looking forward to Xaku Prime, and with more and more weird and unique warframe concepts being introduced these days, there's no good reason why having a unique concept should keep Xaku from getting a prime. More likely something came up in the development process that caused some hiccups, and I could think of plenty of reasons for this, especially around TennoCon being the reveal of the next prime. We have no reason to think anything other than that Xaku is being pushed back a slot or two, and Lavos as well.
But either way, we have no current info from DE as far as I know, but if that changes then I'll update this somehow.
As for if they'll do something to rectify the gendered slot pattern, it's impossible to say.
Predictions for Future Prime Order: (Bold is already exists)
Grendel Gauss Protea (We are here) Sevagoth (Announced) Xaku Lavos Yareli Gyre Caliban Styanax
Or, if they have decided to eschew double gender order from now on:
Protea Sevagoth Xaku Lavos Yareli Caliban Gyre Styanax
I could also see them switching Xaku and Lavos on either of these lists if for some reason Xaku continues to be a problem. I personally wouldn't get worried about anything unless we get both Lavos and Yareli prime without hearing any news about Xaku prime. At that point I'd be asking some serious questions, but for now this is unexpected but fine. Sevagoth Prime is gonna be cool as hell, and we already know that.
Prime Resurgence
Currently available from Varzia are Nekros Prime with Tigris Prime and Galantine Prime and Harrow Prime with Scourge Prime and Knell Prime, along with relics for their component parts and such. They are slated to stay there until August 1st, at which point they'll be replaced by Mesa Prime and Limbo Prime.
Also available from Varzia until October 24th are Ember Prime with Sicarus Prime and Glaive Prime, and Rhino Prime with Boltor Prime and Ankyros Prime. They and their relics are available to celebrate the Ember Heirloom Collection that launched the morning of TennoCon with DE's new system for Heirloom Collections. If you don't know about the new system, I suggest you look at the Heirloom Collection page on the warframe website to familiarize yourself with it. At TennoCon, they announced that Rhino Prime would be the next Heirloom Collection after Ember, thus why they get to share the space in Varzia's for now. Get them while the getting's good!
Ok I think that's everything! Gonna try to do shorter versions of these more often but when there's more to talk about I feel more motivated to write them so we'll see! Happy Prime Hunting!
#warframe prime report#warframe#tennocon 2024#sevagoth prime#ember prime#protip: if you only make one of a series every six months or so that basically makes all of them special!#however it does not make it consistent lol#something I gotta work on :)#but it was fun to write it up because I spent like an hour today going 'but what about xaku??' so I had to vent a little#ALSO happy ember prime availability to all those who celebrate!#hoping to get the fiery girl for myself

Prime Report for January 2024
Hello, good fellows. Maybe at this point I should just wait until after the devstream, but I refuse. Let's predict what the future holds.
Prime Access
Gauss Prime has taken over Prime Access with Acceltra Prime and Akarius Prime, and there he should stay until April. Garuda Prime's relics are now in the vault, and Khora Prime (and Hystrix and the Dual Keres Prime with her) will be next up in April when Gauss leaves.
So, who will take over when Gauss leaves in April? As of today, we don't yet know. Will they be likely to tell us who it will be in friday's devstream? Almost certainly! But they may wait a while. So let's see who it SHOULD be.
With the pairing of Grendel and Gauss Prime, the male-male rotation is finished, meaning that next rotation should be female-female. But, the next batch of warframes will likely have a fun shake up.
After Gauss and Grendel, the release order of warframes goes:
Protea Xaku Lavos Sevagoth Yareli
While Xaku is nonbinary, they fill the second slot in the female release rotation, and likely will in the Prime rotation as well, with two male frames between them and Yareli. (Also, it would be QUITE a shake up for Yareli to jump the queue, and would mess up the timing quite a bit for future expected Primes as well.) But, Xaku can fill whatever slot they like.
Most likely we will be getting Protea first and Xaku after, unless the team decides they'd like to tackle the skeleton first. I find this unlikely, and people have been wondering how they'd go about Xaku Prime for a while, so Protea as our next Prime would make plenty of sense.
When we do see Xaku Prime though, they will give us an interesting look into how the lore may adapt for future Warframes of strange origin as well. Does Caliban, a warframe created seemingly by the sentients, have a Prime? Or was he created by the orokin and simply inspired by the sentients, and it wasn't clear before? Who knows! It may also allow us to eventually get prime trailers with voice overs by characters other than Ballas, which would be very fun. Maybe we will get Mother or Grandmother to tell us about Xaku Prime? The possibilities are endless and I will warmly welcome our new skeleton overlord.
Then, after Protea and Xaku figure out their order, they will be followed by Lavos and Sevagoth. Protea and Xaku should be released in spring and summer this year, with Lavos and Sevagoth taking the slots for autumn and winter of this year/early next year.
And then, if all goes well, next spring should bring Yareli Prime (to be followed shortly by Gyre Prime).
Obviously these warframes should all be accompanied by their signature weapons, but what other weapons do you think they'll have? What do you WANT them to have? What weapons will we never get primes of no matter how much we beg?? Some of these questions may never be answered (unless you want to).
Prime Resurgence
This week as part of the Prime Resurgence event, Varzia is selling Saryn, Valkyr, Atlas, and Vauban Prime and their associated weapons (Cernos, Venka, Spira, Nikana, Tekko, Fragor, and Akstiletto Prime). They will be in for another week until Feb 1st.
Starting Feb 1st and going until Feb 15th, all the Prime Warframes that showed up during the event will return, plus Rhino and Nyx Prime. This means that all of Mesa, Hydroid, Ivara, Oberon, Volt, Loki, Nova, Trinity, Saryn, Valkyr, Atlas, Vauban, Rhino, and Nyx Prime and their associated weapons will be in Varzia's shop for two weeks. At the moment it isn't clear what we will be getting after that, starting Feb 15th. Hopefully the devstream will give us some hints.
(Titania Prime would be a good answer I think.)
In the mean time, don't forget: January Devstream on Friday, Jan 26th at 2 pm ET! Twitch drop will be an Umbra Forma Blueprint, so make sure to tune in for the first Devstream of the year!
Any predictions for what topics we might get news about, other than the time traveling elephant in the room? Echoes of the walls??? Void Angels 3: The Revengening? Is the Krios Signa soon to be lost to time???? Feel free to tell me your thoughts.
See you on Friday!
#warframe prime report#warframe#gauss prime#prime warframe#prime resurgence#can't wait to post an update to this after the devstream with prime news#predicting upcoming primes using spreadsheet magic since like 2020 up in here#it's weird that to me Yareli feels like she's been around a bit now but Gyre is still like. new#they're only 2 warframes apart. Prime Report for October 2023
Hey there, I know it's not October yet but after the Devstream yesterday I felt the need to look at how the primes are shaking. So let's cover some things!
Prime Access
Wisp is currently on Prime Access! She is accompanied by the Fulmin Prime and Gunsen Prime.
During the Devstream yesterday they announced that the next prime, Grendel Prime, will be coming with the Abyss of Dagath update on Oct 18th. Coming with him are the Zylok Prime and Masseter Prime. So, if you want Wisp Prime Access, there's 2 1/2 weeks left to get her!
When Grendel Prime Access launches, that will also mark Harrow Prime going into the vault. Harrow Prime is next in line for vaulting along with his weapons, Knell Prime and Scourge Prime. Relics with them will be rotated out from the drop tables on the 18th when the Grendel relics are added.
The next warframes up to be vaulted after Harrow are first Garuda Prime (with Nagantaka Prime and Corvas Prime), then Khora Prime (with Hystrix Prime and Dual Keres Prime), and then Revenant Prime (with Phantasma Prime and Tatsu Prime). If you're still planning to get Garuda (like I am), now's the time to make a plan to obtain her and her weapons!
Future primes after Grendel Prime are currently unannounced, but by the release dates the next one should be Gauss Prime by all accounts, followed by Protea Prime and Xaku Prime in some order. That rotation will be strange, since Xaku is of course nonbinary, but it means there's no way to fit them into the order without breaking the male-male-female-female cycle they follow with primes. Likely Xaku will be paired with Protea because they're right next to each other in release order, and the next female warframe is Yareli, who was put out significantly after them. But Xaku is comprised of several different warframes of likely different genders, so arguably they would fit in any spot they were put. Fun to think about!
Also, I can't wait for Ballas to go 'wtf' in Xaku's prime trailer. Or maybe we'll get a different presenter! I'd love for Grandmother to introduce Xaku Prime as if it's the most natural thing in the world and throw shade at Ballas.
Prime Resurgence
Right now Equinox Prime and Wukong Prime are gracing Varzia's stall, with their weapons Stradavar Prime and Tipedo Prime, and Zhuge Prime and Ninkondi Prime respectively.
But the stall says that they are due to rotate out on Oct 5, and will be replaced by Chroma Prime (with Gram Prime and Rubico Prime) and Zephyr Prime (with Tiberon Prime and Kronen Prime).
In addition, there are some special guests at Varzia's stall! Mag Prime (with Boar Prime and Dakra Prime) and Frost Prime (with Latron Prime and Reaper Prime) are also available to buy and in relic form at Varzia's, and have been since their Heirloom Collection was announced at Tennocon. The timer at the stall says that they will be available until Dec 30th, according to my math. So, you have until the end of the year to get them if you'd like!
Notes
This is still prime news (technically) so I thought I would mention it.
At the very end of the Devstream yesterday, the team mentioned that the Gotva Prime that was given out at Tennocon would eventually become part of Baro Ki Teer's stock, like other Tennocon and event weapons. No date or anything, but expect to see it there in the future if you missed it or want another.
Anything else you can think of? Anything I missed? Want to be excited about primes? Feel free to let me know!
#warframe#warframe prime report#prime warframe#wisp prime#grendel prime#harrow prime#here it is the second installment of the WARFRAME PRIME REPOOOOOORT#I'm trying to make it a thing even if I don't do it every month so I had the urge to do it again and I grabbed it with both hands#gotta get me garuda prime before she ollie outs#also this time I figured out that varzia's stall actually tells you which ones are next so that was like heck yeah legit info#maybe I should try to like add pictures or something next time? not sure. maybe a header picture? though I'm not like.#really writing an article or something.#ah well.
