I was enchanted to meet you

Sounds of laughter fills the empty cafe, it's too late. Yet, neither of them wanted to leave. In her mind, an interview is like - something formal, something there wouldn't be much laughter, more scowling through her experience. But, this one...it's different.

She's smiling, he's laughing over a cup of caramel macchiato that surely would keep her awake at night - thinking of this moment like a broken record. His smile mirrors hers, the laugher is infectious - his smile put her to ease, as they talked about life and more. A book can be made through their daily conversations, an argument about Jar jar Binks - or just, something simple like candy.

As the workers tight smile, forces them to leave. They stepped into the cold night, with the neon lights in the streets become their companion - it was a lovely evening indeed.

“I'll see you again soon enough?” Charlie's voice rang through her ears, making her smile wider than ever.

“Depends, is the next treat on you?” She tries her best upon a flirtatious banter, yet her blush betrayed her - causing Charlie to chuckle at the sight of it.

“Deal.” He says, as they both stood on the sidewalk. Not wanting to leave, as the night getting darker — as they smiled toward each other; it was something different. It felt like a new beginning, a new page for them as Raylene breaks the silence first.

“My car is over there - so, I'll... see you soon enough.” She smiles at him, as Charlie nods; going on separating ways.

As the car ignition was on, she smiles to herself. The reality over entering a reality show hasn't came through; as her thoughts wonder through the memories. How comfortable it was, and how she wishes - hopes that there's more of this in the future. More dumb conversations with him, over a cup of coffee; it's the perfect company.

Back home, the first sentence she wrote - a quote, from somewhere she recognized, a song. 'i was enchanted to meet you' in bold. She definitely shares the sentiment, counting on the days where she could see him again; maybe for the first time in her life... she'll feel what she's been writing about all along.
