love how you can tell that P101 and W101 are made with different age groups in mind just by the way they handle the concept of death. like, Wiz handles it in a graceful way despite the main antagonist being a necromancer and they show carefully how grief affects him, and when he dies it's non-graphic and he seems to move on in peace at last with his one true love there to usher him on into the afterlife, but they dont shy away from the concept. in Pirate during the first hour you see explicit corpses.

not to be a classic lit nerd but Dr. Jackall and Mr. Hound are the only valid modern(ish) version of Jekyll and Hyde. i take no criticism on this

you kill every creature you fight: boring, edgy, overdone

you don't kill everyone and most battles are like sparring, except for specific boss battles: interesting and poses the idea that you become friends with them

you can spare them like sparing monsters after beating the shit out of them in undertale: funny, everyone hates your wizard, the only correct answer

i understand that Jacques the Scratcher is a Jack the Ripper joke character or whatever he reminds me more of the London Monster. like he went around poking women and Jacques the Scratcher, not being a murderer, is more just a menace and attacker

so like. i forgot that Victor Frankenstein was a "notable" death wizard in W101. so my theory about graverobbing and bodysnatching was correct.

how short is orion? it must've gotten his nickname from somewhere

i haven't actually thought about his height but i like to think that he's somewhere between 4'11-5'2 and he got that nickname when he was a cabin boy on someone else's ship after leaving Krok because all of the other cabin boys got growth spurts and he just didn't. but that's because he's trans and because he was malnourished when he was a kid (from age six to eight i'd say?) and he was assumed to be a lot younger by the people who picked him up (like five or six).
