✨Weyler Week Day 1 Submission✨

Giving my a small smile, Tyler picked me up without warning and sat me on the counter. I had gasped in surprise. Wasn't expecting the sudden fluid movement of him as he swooped down with hands seeking me, gripped my lower hips down by my thighs, and hoisted me onto the marble surface. Standing there between my bent knees with hands framing my face, he tilted his head; Tyler's gaze seeking out mine. Kissing him to reassure myself I sighed into the embrace. Felt the chill within me melt slightly as our mouths met, lips melded to one another, and my fingers twisted into his hair.

"What's going on in that head?" Tyler whispered against my lips with thumbs smoothing over the line of my jaw. "Are you upset?"

I shook my head. Nudging against him, my head tried to make sense of it all. Everything was still a tangled mess and I couldn't figure out which way was up.

Swallowing loud enough that I could hear it, Tyler murmured, "You aren't regretting this are you?"

I looked up when I detected the hurt in his voice only to be crushed by how it was reflected in his somber eyes. There was a plea there. An unspoken begging for me to not say yes. He had wanted me; I was so certain of it know as his hands held me and gaze bored into me. Tyler desired me. Had hoped that I would desire him too. He had been waiting and wanting while never telling himself to touch or overstep. He had waited just as he was waiting now.

"No," I said--my voice rough as I fought to control my raging mind. "I'm just...it's a lot."

"If you want space I can drive you home."

"That's not what I meant." Pressing my lips into a tight line I reminded myself to use my words. To properly communicate what I felt the way Enid and Mara had both taught me. "I just wasn't expecting any of this. I don't regret it." Fingers still toying with Tyler's hair, I could feel myself smile a small smile. "I don't regret you. This is just new to me."

Wyler WIP idea #3

I may or may not have seen Oppenheimer over a handful of times and it may or may not have influenced this idea.

A college au with no powers. Wednesday is a new student in her graduate program. Tyler is in his senior year of his undergraduate. He is enrolled in a partical physics lecture and lab. Wednesday is an assistant teacher in charge of the labs for the professor she is studying under. She meets Tyler on his first day of class and tries to ignore how he looks at her. Throughout the quarter he goes to her office hours for help. He pretends he doesn’t understand what is going on in lab just so he can spend more time with her. when she figures this out Wednesday doesn’t know if she should be impressed or annoyed. Either way she decides to confront Tyler about the situation.

so both @kybee1497 and @ablatheringblatherskite asked me this question a while ago and i forgot to answer. so sorry! life has been a little rough but it’ll be okay. 💜

1.) In My Blood (Wednesday): Basically my take on what should happen in season 2 with all the hallmarks of romance, blood/gore, major character death, friendship, and betrayal! I also introduce my favorite oc Mara in this fic and now she’s become a staple in my Wednesday fics. lol.

2.) Violet Midnight (Wednesday): A college au that centers around two students in the music composition program who learn how to love again through their shared understanding of what it means to hurt and their love for music. This fic is currently ongoing and the next chapter will be releasing soon!

3.) Star Atlas (Wednesday): This story is one I have written and deleted many times for other fandoms and it just seemed to work for wyler. It’s a story of what it’s like to fall in love young as a scientist and the sacrifices that must be made. It will have plenty of action, adventure, and scifi horror laced in as things ramp up. Currently it is a WIP and the next chapter will be released in early August.

4.) Last December (Painter of the Night): This was the last queer romance I wrote before going on hiatus and then returning to writing for Wednesday. It is an unexpected and quiet romance story between a young surgical resident and an art student set against the winter backdrop of New York city. It’s more realistic and stark than my other stories and dives deep into the turmoil of letting go of unrequited love while simultaneously falling for someone else.

5.) Transatlanticism (Attack on Titan): This is the first fic I ever completed and the first one I was ever really proud of because I truly evolved as a writer and a person through this work. It’s a queer love story, as per usual with me, set in Naples, Italy and follows the story of two archeaology students falling in love. However, there’s a timer on their love and soon they will be forced to part ways. This story really focuses on the act of becoming vulnerable with romantic partners and what it means to truly trust someone and love them so deeply it transcends being soulmates. It’s a favorite story of mine and I hope you all like it too.

AHHHHHH IM GONNA SCREAM!!!!

Before she knew it, she was standing in front of her new dorm room, staring at the door that bore the number 237. She sighed, preparing herself for the worst, as she knocked on the door sternly before inserting her key to the lock, twisting the doorknob and letting herself in.

The room she entered was messy; two single beds stood a few metres apart, and one of them was clearly unslept in, while the other one was unkempt, the sheets rumpled and tangled. She could see one empty desk near the clean bed, and dragged herself through the doorstep, stepping into the relatively tidy space that was going to be hers.

Wednesday’s eyes scoured her roommate’s belongings: a black, electric guitar was standing near the other desk, which was filled with papers, notes and some sheet music. She patted her cello with affection, her fingers brushing the black leather case. She didn’t want to get her hopes up, but having a roommate with an inclination to music could’ve been a good start. She might get along with the girl, after all.

Just when the thought crossed her mind, a boy walked in through the door she never closed after she entered. His stride was confident and nonchalant, and he came to a sudden halt when he noticed her sitting on the bed.

“Hey there, grim reaper barbie,” the young man chuckled, approaching her slowly. “What did I do to deserve you in my room?”

Her eyes trailed him quickly: messy golden hair, playful hazel eyes, and a smirk she was immediately hell-bent on wiping off. Tattoos peeked from the sleeves of his simple white t-shirt, covering one arm almost entirely and elongating all the way up to the side of his neck. Wednesday returned her gaze to his glimmering eyes, which were still curious, waiting for her to answer.

It was only then that his words registered in her mind.

"Wait," her eyes widened. That had to be a mistake. "You - you're my roommate?"

Wyler WIP Teaser

This is from my upcoming fanfic “From Theory Alone” which will be a college au. I have decided to base it at Caltech in California to pay homage to my father who studied there and has been a great influence in my life.

This excerpt is from the unfinished first chapter. Tyler is intrigued by Wednesday and Wednesday is well aware of his curiosity and his staring habit.

Wednesday could tell Tyler was there in lab whether she had her back turned when he entered the sterile workspace or not. His eyes as blue as a torroid in darkness followed her wherever she went. Observed her. Surveyed her. It was unsettling. Wednesday had never been keen on attention. She preferred to work within the shadows where prying eyes could not reach her. Yet it seemed a pair had.

He had a handsome face, Galpin did. And his voice and the inflection in his speech Wednesday could not place which dogged her whenever he spoke. But something about him felt forced; fake and disingenuous like a politician running for election while desperately working to bury the skeletons hidden in their closet. Watching him as he slipped on his pair of safety goggles while laughing to whatever it was his lab partner had said, Wednesday could see the mask Tyler wore. Saw where it began and where it ended.

But it wasn’t her business. Was not her place to ponder the duality of her students. Her purpose was to instruct and aid Dr. Weems in her research. Wednesday hadn’t the time to care now the patience if she were to be given an answer to her questions. Looking a moment longer, Wednesday swallowed a hard knot in her throat. Furrowed her brows minutely with mild annoyance. Then, at the count of five, released all her frustrations with an inaudible sigh and began the lecture portion of the lab.

What Wednesday needed now was work. To busy herself with things that mattered—things of consequence. Not frivolous thoughts and musings that would only lead to a toxic fixation.

“Today we will be working with circuits in application to capacitance. This is in preparation for your upcoming midterm.” Gaze meeting Tyler’s from across the lab, Wednesday stared back blankly despite the raking feeling his eyes left beneath her skin. “Turn to page 87 in your lab manual.”

I definitely excited to try and finish my TMHTH fic! But in terms of posting I've been planning a college Wyler AU for the better part of a year and am finally gonna post this year!!
