Thirty-two year old single dad, Derek, lives with his sixteen year old son Eli in the small town of Beacon Hills, California, surrounded by crazy neighbors and wacky traditions that you wouldn't find anywhere else.

Eli has finally been accepted to the prestigious Wylden Academy, but there's no way Derek could afford the tuition on the earnings of his diner. So, it's back to Sacramento to beg his parents for money for his son's education. Talia and Malachi Hale agree with the condition of Friday night dinners so they can get to know their grandson.

Stiles Stilinski is an English teacher for Wylden Academy and is very much addicted to Derek's coffee that Eli brings him every morning and decides to spend some time in Beacon Hills.

zur weblage. okay: sprache, handlung, fabulation. diese website ist nicht leer. ich bin nur seit geraumer zeit in einem großen wylden prozess des webdesigns (soll heißen: mir kommt die ganze zeit anderes zeug dazwischen, aber eigentlich schon) und hatte dafür die alten posts aus meiner onlineperformance hier archiviert, weil ich eigentlich dachte, das wäre alles easy schnell done. ist es leider nicht und alles sieht hier noch genauso aus wie immer. ich befürchte, das reflektiert mein leben auf der metaebene treffend auf mich selbst zurück.

über das burger menu links oben sind nach wie vor statische unterseiten auffindbar, auch deren daherkommen wird sich bald (meint: 2023 i hope) noch mal sehr sehr komplett grundlegend verändern. tumblr ist mir generell zu unflexibel für artistic expression, daher werde ich wechseln und idk was ich dann hiermit mache. (stimmt natürlich nicht: ich weiß sehr wohl zumindest vage, was ich hiermit mache.)

momentan update ich auf dieser website eigentlich lediglich meine veröffentlichungsliste, wenn ich denn mal irgendwas veröffentlichen sollte. (da ich ja nicht mehr im literaturbetrieb und in hildesheim bin, ist das 2021 alles erwartbarerweise auch sofort sehr weggebrochen. allerdings sind da durchaus wieder dinge im werden.) ist auch okay, ich hab eh mit universitätssachen ✨andernorts✨ etc viel andernortiges zu tun. am regulärsten (und einzigen) veröffentliche ich im moment wohl bei meinen beiden youtube-channels und natürlich itch.io. social media ist ja auch gerade generell mehr denn je ein ganz ganz interessanter ort, von dem wir alle www (weit weit weg) bleiben sollten.

okay so act 1:

all of the party have each gotten a job in a big ole adventuring caravan to look for a lost kingdom. We all meet up there and because of reasons we all end up becoming somewhat friends. the caravan is led by a really suspicious but seemingly well meaning lord, who has a magical amulet that only Max can see that allows him to erase peoples memories and do some wierd magic. his second in comand is an Ent-Jaren who Red ends up getting attached to and his girlfriend who is a elf wizard named Jianni. Along the way we also meet a big Hellhound (who can shape shift into a human) named Brandon and a Wylden named Diana. they both end up in a wierd kinda polyamorous coded relationship with Braxton (idk they basicaly end up all living together and are wierdly touchy feely but never put a label on it).

After a bit of traveling with the caravan, we all make it to the underground lost kingdom we were here for. our job is basicaly to explore and find keys to unlock an elevator to get to the bottom floor, as well as report any treasure we find. as it turns out, however, the two lesbian queens of the kingdom are both still alive and are not happy with us being down here. They both also hate each other and want to kill each other because they blame the other for the fall of the kingdom. The first, Lady Onieva, has a magical ring that turns her into a imortal lich so long as she is wearing it. the other, lady Penelopy, has a magic ring that turns her into a plant and gives her control of plant life. while looking for the key we run into Lady Onieva, who tries to kill us, but we manage to temporarily defeat her, and steal a magic sword she was carrying that I call dibs on.

training had been rough today. their team had recently failed a mission, some new villain causing trouble that had gotten away. wylie had pushed herself too hard during the fight, trying to steal powers and use them on the fly. she was still getting a hang on using her ability in the middle of a fight and it did this.

aden had her in his arms, curling the tiny redhead against his chest. super strength was good for a lot of things, but this was probably what it was best for. she had almost collapsed in the sparring room and this was where he was stuck at. it wasn’t like anyone else could do it.

wylie’s fist smacked his chest weakly, more out of habit than anything else. “put me down--” she mumbled, yet her other hand tangled in his shirt like she was clinging to him. whiplash, thy name was wylie.

“hush up.” aden grumbled, stepping up to the door to her bedroom. there was a familiar whoosh as it opened for them, like all the doors in this place did. god, he missed the sound of door hinges. why was it so impossible for them to do anything on their own? you didn’t need tech for everything. god, he didn’t get it.

he moved to drop wylie on the bed, with at least some tact, but something made him pause. her fingers were clinging to him and her face was buried in his chest. he couldn’t see her, but he was pretty sure she was awake. so he sighed, sitting on the bed with her. “you okay?” he forced out, the words like acid on his tongue.

she grumbled against him and he wasn’t even sure she’d actually said anything. but her grip on him tightened. her head turned and bright green eyes focused on his. they were somehow lazy and focused at the same time. he had no idea how she managed to keep the switch flipped on no matter what.

“thank you.” the words took him by surprise, eyes widening. wylie would never thank him for anything. even after their first mission, she had ignored him. and their second. and their third. if she’d even let him come along. her fingers untangled from his shirt, falling back against her pillow. even with how much he hated her, he had to admit -- she was cute when she was tired.

and then she was asleep, leaving him very, very confused.

okay uno reverse card time here we go:

so basicaly a bit of worldbuilding before I tell you about the main campain:

the story takes place inside of the "second age", the age of man. there was apparently an age that came before but nobody really knows what it was about other than that there were "great beasts", until the god of hunting and civilization killed most of them and brought about the new age

the gods in the world are:

the Huntsman: afformentioned god of hunting and civilization, as well as god of night and winter, hunts the Wolf King through the sky forever. has an army of demigod hunters he chooses who hunt with him in the wild hunt called the Ent-Jaren

the Wolf King: god of summer, the sun, and the wilderness. chases the huntsman endlessly through the sky. has an army of half wolf people he chooses who hunt with him called the Wylden

the Gravetender: god of the dead, works to make sure that when people die they stay dead

the Drifter: god of peace and safe travel. just sort of wandered off thousands of years ago during the Shattering and has never been seen again

The Martyr: goddess of blood, retribution, and justice. was origionaly human who rose to become a god (though nobody knows how) and in the process caused the shattering, exiling the Drifter and flooding the world with hundreds of demons

The Mother: Goddess of spiders and creation. lives in/on/is the moon. remade the world after the end of the first age
