“You make everyday worth living” Ava Okay I’m done 😂
She sat on the edge of Wyatt’s bed and pulled her close. She hated to see her daughter cry, hated even more so har someone had made her resilient baby she’d tears.
“I just.. I don’t understand..” her chest heaved as she sniffles hard. “Am I.. not.. good enough..?” Wyatt turned to look up at Ava. Her crystal blue eyes breaking her mama’s heart. They were her grandfathers eyes and they were magnified by the tears gathering there.
Ava kissed Wyatt’s forehead and then pulled back to take her in and allow Wyatt to see all of her face. “Wyatt Rose Waldoff Capelli. You are more than enough. You make every day worth living. Anyone who doesn’t see your value is simply blind.”
Wyatt wiped at her eyes and sniffled “if granddad heard me he’d have a cow huh?”
Ava chuckled and nodded “you know he would. He’d remind you that you’re a Waldoff through and through and that this world is barely good enough for you. Never the other way around.”
Wyatt smiled big and the light slipped back into her eyes “He’s right. I am a Waldoff and I am good enough. Screw Nathan.” She covered her mouth and looked up at her mom “sorry.”
Ava couldn’t help but smile proudly “No babygirl, you’re right, Screw Nathan.”
“I think I like someone else more.. I just don’t know how to tell if she likes girls..” it was a question Ava wasn’t sure she could give a proper answer to. “You should call your Aunt Colbie, I’m sure she can answer that far better than me.”
“You’re right! Maybe I’ll just swing by, I’m dying for some cupcakes too.” She slung her backpack over her shoulder and kissed her mama bye before farting out of the house.
