Making/changing sims non stop. been trying to find a new founder for my saves but every time i make a sim i have a different plan for them. except for the guy with the hat im using him for a save lol im like 3 days in

Building in Mirth by SketchbookPixels. I think im almost done lol I just have to build a resteraunt, an arcade, finish the festival grounds, funish the bar, and decorate the beach, we'll worry about homes later lol...

thats it lol. its been a week irl and just been doing this. honestly, its fun but ugh i just wanna play. I havent played an actual sim save with family in almost a year nd some change because i have to build/renovate a town

Hello Everyone! I’m sorry this update took so long to get out to everybody.

Default Skin + Dark Tone Addon 2.0

This is my updated version of the skin I made here. It is far from perfect, however it has major improvements in the eye and nose areas. It also adds age detail to adult and elder sim faces. Children and toddlers also look better now (and the child life stage should be included in the file this time, so sorry for not including it before!!). 

I also reduced the texture size. For most users this change shouldn’t be noticeable, aside from the game running a bit smoother. Current textures should be 1K faces and 2K bodies. If I have time, I might make a version with smaller textures for players who need it.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Put these in the Overrides subsection of your Mods folder. Make sure you don’t have a default replacement skin in your game already. You will need BOTH the Default Skin and the Tone Ramp Replacement files for your skin to display correctly. The other two files are non-default, but still highly recommended as they provide a wider range of skin tones.

If you have the old version installed, make sure to remove that before using this one.

KNOWN ISSUES:

Scalp on the dark tone for default replacement/light tone for the addon has seams near the forehead. I tried my best to make it less noticeable, but with the skill and technology I currently have, this was the best I could do. I may go back and fix it later, and of course if someone more skilled wants to do it in the meantime, feel free to do so and tag me so I can use it too lol.

Just follow the other creators’ TOUs. Feel free to tag me if you use these or make something with them! I’d love to see it.
