Make sure to pick the appropriate type of post from the drop down menu when you fill the form, or just submit a link to your own post by selecting Link.

How do I submit my Fanfiction entry to When We Take Different Paths?

If you only publish on Tumblr go directly to the Submit link on the @ft-wwtdp​ page and submit your post link. Make sure to add all appropriate tags. You’re done! 

If you’re an AO3 user submit your entry directly to our Collections. There is one available for every week:

Week 1 - WLW/Femslash

Week 2 - MLM/Slash

Week 3 - Gender Identitities

Week 4 - Sexual Identities

Week 5 - Spooky Tales

Go to the appropriate collection and click on Post To Collection, then proceed to submit as you normally would. Please add wwtdp and tumblr:ftlgbtales to your story tags. Make sure to add appropriate warnings for any potential triggers and to rate your story according to the AO3 guidelines. Your story will show up in your Works as soon as you post.

If you don’t have an AO3 account you can still participate! Submit to your platform of choice, make sure to add the tag wwtdp somewhere in the summary or tags.

After you have submitted your story make sure to copy your story URL from the address bar of your browser, you will need it for the next step. You will need to go to the Submit link on our @ft-wwtdp page. It will look like the image below.
