Avec une affluence record de plus de 49 000 visiteurs uniques, une augmentation de 14% par rapport à l'année précédente, l'événement a confirmé son statut de rendez-vous incontournable pour les passionnés d'horlogerie du monde entier. Parmi les 54 marques exposantes, certaines ont particulièrement marqué les esprits, notamment celles bien implantées à Val-de-Travers telles que Parmigiani Fleurier, la Maison Chopard, la marque Ferdinand Berthoud et la maison Piaget. Ces marques, reconnues pour leur savoir-faire et leur excellence, ont présenté des nouveautés captivantes, attirant l'attention des visiteurs et des médias. Une autre particularité de cette édition réside dans la provenance des mouvements, avec une partie d'entre eux provenant de sociétés telles que Vaucher Manufacture à Fleurier et ValFleurier installé à Buttes, soulignant ainsi l'importance de la collaboration et de l'expertise régionale dans la création des montres les plus prestigieuses. L'édition 2024 de Watches & Wonders Geneva a été marquée par une ambiance de partage et d'enthousiasme, reflétée par l'engagement des participants sur les réseaux sociaux avec le hashtag #watchesandwonders2024, qui a atteint un reach estimé à plus de 600 millions de personnes. En plus des chiffres impressionnants, l'aspect le plus notable du Salon a été l'esprit d'ouverture et d'inclusion qui a régné pendant toute la durée de l'événement. La présence des jeunes générations, des écoles et des étudiants, a confirmé l'intérêt croissant pour l'horlogerie, avec 25% des billets vendus aux moins de 25 ans. Watches & Wonders Geneva a également tracé les tendances de l'année à venir, avec un retour au classicisme et à l'unisexe, ainsi que des innovations audacieuses dans les couleurs et les bracelets interchangeables. Les grandes complications et les métiers d'art ont également été à l'honneur, démontrant la convergence entre l'artisanat horloger et les arts décoratifs. Watches and Wonders Geneva 2023

Geneva is the watchmaking destination and home to many popular brands that people love to wear because of aesthetic designs and durability of the products. Watches & wonders 2022 was a huge success after the pandemic and organizers are expecting more participation in upcoming watch industry trade show 2023.

The success of the first event of Watches and Wonders Geneva in 2022 encourages Rolex, Richemont and Patek Philippe to invent Watches and Wonders Geneva Foundation (WWGF), a not-for-profit foundation based in Geneva and was founded in September 2022.

The WWGF is also planning to arrange many exhibitions in key destinations around the world. The WWGF is managed by a foundation board, where Jean-Frederic Dufour is acting as Chairman and Emmanuel Perrin as Vice Chairman. Matthieu Humair the CEO of FHH will become the CEO of WWGF. Members from Exhibition Committee will fill other positions of board.

The amateurs and collectors very much appreciate to try on this year’s crop of new wares in person as they did last year.

Hello and lots of love to all including the haters LOL!! You know who you are!! I have been asked to write a book many times and perhaps I will one day, but for now I say that to lead people you have to show results and teach value to be a real true leader. Anyone can come up with a great speech either written by them or someone else. Anyone can read or give a power point presentation which is awesome,however what happens when you cannot or have no idea how to implement or teach others what you are talking about!!!! SAD and I have worked with these kind of so called leaders and they are just horrible miserable people in power who push real leaders down and hate to be challenged because they sit in a position of power. Kudos to them for having the positions however they acquired them. I have also worked with some real true leaders who have been my mentors and they are like day and night very different. True leaders had followers and the others had people who did their job because of fear to loose their jobs. Which do you want to be or which do you want to work under?? This a very important question to many people out there. Do these people add value to you and your future or do they suck the life and creativity out of you? WWGF Foundation Scholarship

The Women’s Western Golf Foundation (WWGF) has put forward the “WWGF FoundationScholarships” to high school senior girls who intend to graduate in the year of application. The purpose of the foundation is to provide financial assistance to universities & colleges with inadequately funded women’s golf programs. Candidates will be selected on the basis of academics achievement, financial need, the excellence of character, and an involvement in the sport of golf. The foundation will worth amount of $8,000 over four years. $2,000 (two thousand dollars) per year is applied toward tuition, room & board, and other university fees or charges.
