Summary: The reader is Austin's girlfriend. She hears about Austin getting injured in a match and rushes to his side to ensure that he's alright.

Smackdown is around halfway through the show when you slip back inside Bianca's locker room. Fresh off a match against Zelina Vega, you're tired and sweaty.

"Bianca?" You knock on the door before entering, giving Bianca time to get decent if she needs to.

"Hey, girl" Bianca replies from inside the room. "Come on in. I saw your match with Shotzi. Nice work out there, girl." She praises you.

You slip into the room with an exhausted but satisfied sigh. "Thanks, Bianca. And thanks again for letting me get ready in here." You add and walk over to the vanity.

"Of course." Bianca nods. "Though I have to say, I don't see why you ain't cozied up in a locker room with your man, Austin." She teases you.

"With his new boyfriend Grayson always hanging around?" You snort.

You and Bianca both laugh. You sit down at the vanity and begin taking your hair out of it's braid. "So you're saying that you aren't even a bit into Waller?" Bianca teases you. "He's a good-looking guy, don't you think? With that cute accent and goofy smile?"

"Sounds to me like you're the one into him, Bianca." You raise a playful brow at her. "Something I need to tell, Montez?" You joke with her.

"Girl." Bianca laughs.

You brush out your hair and begin cleaning up your makeup before you get changed. You are in the middle of putting your sweaty ring gear away back in your bag when someone knocks on the door.

Bianca answers the door while you're busy and you hear her talking with someone out in the hall.

"Hey, YN? Girl, you need to come here." Bianca turns back into the room and beckons you over to the door.

"Yeah?" You walk over to Bianca and notice Grayson standing outside the door. "Grayson? What's up? Where's Austin at?" You ask him.

Grayson rubs the back of his neck and glances over at Bianca for a second. "Austin's down in the trainers room with Carmelo." He explains. "They both took a nasty fall during their match and Austin hurt his head."

"What?" Your jaw hangs ajar slightly. "Well is alright?" You step past Bianca out into the hall.

"They're checking him out for a concussion right now." Grayson replies. "But he asked me to come down here and let you know what happened. I'll walk you down there if you want." He offers.

You nod and turn back to Bianca. Bianca mimics your nod. "I'll pack the rest of your stuff up for you." She offers. "Go see your man."

"Thanks, Bianca." You give her a small hug before turning back to Grayson.

Grayson walks with you back down to the trainers room. He explains a little bit more about how Austin got hurt on the way and your worry for your boyfriend only grows.

"Austin?" You reach the trainers room and head inside.

"I'm over here, YN." You hear Austin reply t your prompt from the other side of the room.

You scan the room and spot Austin sitting on the bench over in the corner of the room. He has an icepack held to the back of his head, but looks relatively alright besides that. You rush over to his side and Grayson hangs back a bit while you're with Austin.

"Oh my gosh! Are you alright? Grayson told me what happened. What did the trainers say?" You berate him with questions.

"I'm alright, babe." Austin chuckles at your concern. "Messed up my neck a bit and my head is killing me." He explains. "But they don't think I have a concussion."

You nod, silently cheering that Austin is essentially unscathed. "Thank god you're alright." You run a hand through his hair. "Scared the shit out of me when Grayson showed up to Bianca's locker room." You joke with a small smile.

"Yeah, sorry about that." Grayson chimes in from a few feet away.

"It's alright, Grayson." You turn to face Waller. "Thanks for coming to get me." You thank him and turn back to Austin.

You take the icepack from Austin's hand and hold it in place for him. One of the trainers comes back from whatever he was doing and explains that Austin should be good to go but should take it easy for a few days just to be sure.

"Oh, he'll definitely be taking it easy." You assure the trainer. "I'll make sure of that."

"I'll head back to the locker room and start getting stuff packed up." Grayson offers. "You guys can meet me there when you're ready to go."

You nod and kiss Austin's cheek gently. "That'd be great, Grayson." You smile at him. "Thanks for all the help." You step over to his side and hug him. "I'm gonna go grab my bags from Bianca's room. Then I'll come back for Austin and we'll meet you in your guys' locker room."

Grayson nods and heads back to his and Austin's locker room to pack up. You turn back to Austin and smile at him. "I'll be back in a few minutes, babe. Then we'll grab Grayson and head out." You explain the plan to him.

"Alright babe." Austin nods and you kiss his forehead gently.

You collect your bags from Bianca then pick up Austin from the trainers room. He’s sitting and waiting for you when you arrive and perks up when he sees you at the door.

“You ready to head out, babe?” You ask Austin.

“Yeah, definitely.” Austin nods and walks over to you.

Austin slings an arm over your shoulder and the two of you pick Grayson up at the locker room. The three of you pack up and head back to the hotel so Austin can rest up for a few days.
