I am SOOOOOO NORMAL ABOUT WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS SOOOOOOO NORMAL..
It’s definitely a silly goofy show that you don’t need to look into what the in universe camera crew might be editing or cutting out of their shots
Definitely not it’s just a silly goofy good time show

WHAT WE DI IN THE SHADOW EPISODE 8 SPOILERS
What if Nandor realizes that he doesn’t want to lose Guillermo, after he thought that he died in episode 8, and finally decides to MAKE HIM A VAMPIRE.
He expresses this to his housemates and they all visibly panic as they know the truth and try to change his mind, but he is DEAD SET. He does NOT want to ever ever be without Guillermo again.
So he prepares this propose-like set up: dim light with a lot of candles leading to Nandors room, where he is waiting. Has a whole vampire/gay speech prepared and is just melting in front of Guillermo, the man who has been there for him unconditionally for so long. Then go comes to the part when he offers Guillermo the bite.
But Guillermo just stands there, absolutely horrified, because this is the moment he dreaded for so many weeks. He tried to postpone telling Nandor but now he can no longer do that. He has to face the consequences of his actions. He. Panics. He just runs (that’s when we get the Exit interview episode), because that is the only solution to their situation he can think of.
And Nandor just stands there.
Confused. And heartbroken.

Can we talk about how insanely jealous Nandor obviously is that he wasn't the one who turned Guillermo? This relationship triangle between Nandor, Guillermo and Derek has a lot of interpretation and the lore between masters and familiars and sire's. What is everyone's thoughts on these past few episodes?
Also loved Patton Oswald in s5e10

Do you remember when it became apparent that BBC Sherlock wasn't that much of a smart well-written show but the fans were so in love with their own edits, fanfics and deeper interpretations of every aspect of it, so they gaslit themselves into thinking the writers were secret geniuses who actually had something bigger and even smarter planned, yet they were so clever they made it seem like they had no clue of where the show was going / should go?
Idk, I forgot what the point of this post was.

I read a theory the other day from someone on here that Guillermo was one of the various bastard children Laszlo fathered that Nadja mentioned and whilst this theory is basically impossible without retconning (because nadja said he fathered tons of children when he was human, it would've come up in the ancestry episode, also just doesn't seem like something the writers would do) I don't even care this theory is so fucking funny I love it, I've been thinking all day about how they would both react to finding this information out if it happened it would be hilarious, Ive thought up so many scenarios but I think my favourite one is if Laszlo was talking to Guillermo's mother for whatever reason(idk what the context would be), she mentions she has a son and how he's the father, Guillermo enters the room, his mum then introduces him to Laszlo like "he's your father", both Laszlo and Guillermo's brains completely blue screen at this revelation
this would never happen like it makes no sense if you actually think about it but but I've been giggling over it so much it's so funny to me

I finished s4 of WWDITS!! idk not much report, I felt sad for Laszlo, obviously. Colin's transformation has been weird but very interesting! Also it was sweet how Laszlo's and Guillermo's childcare instincts activated, and funny how Nandor's and Nadja's very much didn't.
I feel like Nandor keeps pulling the most wretched shit imaginable and then getting away with it because he is just so very pathetic.
Okay, this could just be because I haven't watched the early seasons in ages, but I feel like we don't really know why Guillermo wants so badly to become a vampire? Like, obviously he's been into them since he was a kid, but I feel 13 years of supernatural labor is more than just a childhood hyperfixation, y'know? Like is it the immortality that calls to him? The violence?? Since just the couple years during which the show takes place, we've seen him gain (at least tastes of) many of the things vampirism could offer him: strength, power, money. And it doesn't seem to make a difference to his desire. Like, is there a more specific goal driving him, or is it just something he's latched onto and forgot to examine? Or, is it simply a quirk of his character that we're meant to accept at face value?
Cause idk he did not need that much money to pay Derek off; those were not the actions of a rational man 😅

gonna be watching wwdits s5 episode 3 later tonight with my family but in the meantime i am dodging spoilers and thinking very hard about the characters playing Dungeons & Dragons so i’m gonna tell you my thoughts on that. i also welcome additional ideas and suggestions.
guillermo is the dm. he introduced the idea to the vampires, and is using it as a way to keep them out of trouble/distracted for whatever reason. he realizes the enormity of his mistake very quickly, as everyone gets very into it.
i do not have ideas for what races they would pick (for the most part,) but i do have ideas for classes. that’s what i’ll be getting into here.
nadja is a wild magic sorcerer. she’s also the second least familiar with the game and keeps asking if the enemies are dead after she hits them. she also keeps trying to bribe/threaten guillermo into making the game go more her way. she kills a lot of people
laszlo is a bard. obviously. you know what kind of bard he plays. and he gets VERY into the game and grasps the rules very well. he does feed into nadja and nandor’s rulebreaking antics when coerced, though.
nandor plays the game very similarly to nadja and also keeps killing people. he keeps asking if he’s winning. i’m the least sure about what class he’d play because i can’t shake the idea that he has paladin vibes even though that clearly makes no sense. so he’s a fighter until a better idea comes along. also he understands the rules the least.
the guide is present, she’s having the time of her life. or, unlife, i guess. she’s a druid, and she has no idea what’s happening, really, but she’s just happy to be there. having so much fun. a blast.
colin robinson is the rules lawyer, he makes it very frustrating for everyone at first, but eventually he also gets very into it and has just as much fun as the rest of the vampires while playing, specifically, a sexy orc. don’t ask me why. it came to me like a vision. his character is a rogue. he does a lot to stir up infighting and to torment guillermo.
i wanna say doll nadja is there as well but i haven’t given her too much thought yet. she also seems like a druid so idk. i guess a balanced party isn’t required. sure. there 2 druids. she plays her druid very differently from the guide, though.
it’s sheer chaos, they play all night and well into the day, guillermo all but forgets what he was trying to distract them all from, but they do somehow manage to have a fun and successful adventure. no idea where in the show this would take place. sometime around season 3, maybe? not sure.
again, suggestions welcome. hell, if you think i’m super wrong about something, tell me how things should be. i’m a big fan of collaborative creativity.

Crack! AU
Nandor is actually a big dealTM in the vampire world but always finds a way to downplay it so he can hang and be on Nadja, Lazlo and Colin Robsons level
