I was actually working on the next bodyswap chapter but that's still a hot mess, so here's the last bit from the Wuju Bakery wip haha (love how it's a "last line" meme and it's like "here, have some paragraphs!")

The rumble of an engine alerts Raon to the arrival of a tow truck. The man that hops out of the vehicle whistles as he approaches, eyebrows raised in astonishment.  Raon’s fingers tighten on the broom handle.  “Knowing and seeing are two very different things.” He shoots Raon a quick grin, “How on Earth did you manage to do this?”  Raon grins weakly in answer.  “Where’s Wuju?” the man asks.  “He’s inside – working. He said to bring the car to the back.”  “Are you sure you don’t want to scrap this? I can bring it to–” “No, no!” Raon jerks forward, alarmed. “I’m going to fix it.” “Yeah?” The man gives Raon a look as if to say he can’t believe someone who would drive a car into the side of a building would also be capable of fixing one. Thankfully, he drops the subject. Raon watches anxiously as the man returns to his truck and backs it up towards the storefront and parks in front of Raon’s ship. He pulls out some chains and deftly attaches Raon’s ship to his truck.  Raon keeps his eyes peeled for any holo-glitches but nothing looks out of the ordinary. He hopes it stays that way.  He ditches the broom and heads to the back of the building to wait for his ship to be brought around. Once it has been safely backed into a spot next to Wuju’s modest white car, he starts inquiring about payment for the tow, but the man waves him off.  “Wuju promised to bake me a cake for my wife’s birthday. Don’t worry about it.” Raon wonders if the cake has been added to his tab too.

His heart is thudding in his chest, in his ears, and he can feel his pulse in the tips of his fingers, curled around the phone. “I’m moving out,” he says. “Don’t be ridiculous,” Pa scolds. “You’re seventeen. You have nowhere to go. Do you want to live on the streets?” “I have money,” Kim says. He knows how Pa will respond before he even speaks.  “That money belongs to the family. Why should I let you keep it if you choose to leave?” But Kim already has an answer prepared, because Vegas was right. “I earned it.”
