Yaaayy bear boys at Fort Ross 🐻 ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ this was literally them I would know trust me. Alaska busy getting that winter rest in! Cali is just watching. Dw about it. I’m very proud of this tho :)

I don’t really have context for it, nor the forget me nots, I just think about that one art piece I did of Alaska and forget me nots sometimes. They’re very poetic and symbolic! A good pick for a flower. But yeah, I have been doing a lot of research on Alaska natives again, for this I’ve been observing physical characteristics, so his design will change into being more Yknow, like his people

Another thing I’ve been reading on towards Alaska natives (specifically more so in Sugpiaq culture) is gender traditions, because I find it to be interesting! I’m thinking on making a separate post about that tho 😌 anyways, happy Native American heritage month

WTTT Headcanons: California!

((Time for the bear boi :3 These may have some headcanons that were found on other blogs & that I've just accepted))

California, along with Texas and Alaska, is a VERY tall man. California is under Alaska, standing at about 6'6". He bends down a bit to directly talk to other people & he finds it rather annoying.

California has a collection of teddy bears. He's had some since his "State Day", and some are more recent. CA loves them all equally, and gives them cuddles... When New York isn't around.

Speaking of, California x New York is a thing. California realized he liked NY when he noticed that "York" would go on the defense for him quite frequently, or specifically seek him out to hang with.

California has Autism Spectrum Disorder. He stims a lot by playing with his clothes or his hair, or rubbing his hands together. CA has a lot of hyperfixations that he likes to talk about, but feels bad that no one listens. Except NY, of course.

Cali also stammers a lot because of Social Anxiety. New York being his closest friend (or otherwise), he knows exactly what to do. NY will take CA into a quiet room with meditation music and one of his teddy bears, then leave him alone. California would text New York when he felt okay to come back to whatever situation happened before his anxiety struck.

California likes going camping. He only goes with New York and Alaska, as Alaska knows how to properly hunt & New York can cook fairly well. Plus, he enjoys their company ((and they enjoy his)).

California will listen to just about any music genre, except Country because it reminds him too much of Texas.

Due to some strange insistence from New York, California is learning how to skateboard. He's not super good at it yet, but he still enjoys the hobby, getting thoroughly excited when he masters a trick.

California, as once previously mentioned, enjoys photography. He'll go out for hours while listening to music to find scenes to take pictures of. He's got quite a substantial following of about 20k Instagram followers... Under the pseudonym, "Natureography".

Personifications are either A or O no inbetween

If you were a human beta before becoming a personification then congratulations on your new reproductive organs

California is the most Alpha of the Omegas and will fight anyone about anything except a week before his heat when he becomes the clingiest of koala bears often seen hanging off his Alphas Texas or Alaska

Austin and Jefferson County are California's and Texas's children and Anchorage is California's and Alaska's

Mississippi's (A) first words to CDC (O) were 'Marry Me' and despite them eventually getting married no one has let the state live it down

Florida (O) is Louie's (A) boy and will brag to anyone who well listen (and sone who won't) how great Louie is at taking care of him and what a great accomplice Louie is

Washington (O) has his Alphas (Oregon and Idaho) wrapped around his little finger and will often send them the same text and the same time to see who reacts quickest

Nevada (O) and Utah (A) used to be really close but now fight and hate how much they still need each other

Greg the Sound Guy is human (for now) and the States are taking bets as to which designation he would be if he turned (the most popular bet is Alpha to match Gov's Omega status so Gov will finally get a mate)

This also happened at Fort Ross trust me on this I was literally there. I read that Alaskans at the fort did... basically everything, like seriously just about all the work 😓 Cali must've been like at some point, let him breathe damn!!! Now Alaska gets to be coddled after because I said so. Perhaps the first Outsider to actually see him as a person. Plus Alaska didn't have facial hair at this point since it's the 1800s 😌 Anyways I've been wanting to draw some pre purchase (Or at the least, pre statehood) Alaska. becaus i want to. plus i might slap history facts in there maybe

Got these funny bear boys in my brain, pocket sized sad boy (in Alaska’s perspective)… and just some guy (they are friends)

I’m thinking about bringing back Alaska’s forget-me-not tattoos, I think they were pretty baller and looked neat; also, I just like drawing lines and I have some ideas to improve it!

Some extra sketches cuz I might as well! Sometimes I need a Cal that’s just like. :) . These two?? Very huggable. I rate about a 9/10 because they might never let go and I will starve. They both get thrown a social hint, one of them will misread it and the other will have it fly completely over his head

Wttt but everything is the same it’s just that Alaska is actually a polar bear with a hat and sometimes a jacket too. California was there cause. Bear boy. The idea came to me cause I noticed how Alaska just sometimes doesn’t make sense so I have concluded he decides things via picking random crumpled papers

God I love bears
