Commission for PurpleHaze from FA!
The character omfg.. THEY'RE GORGEOUS I've always liked Ananasi as rare non-mammalian shapeshifters (they have some kind of special vibe, you know), and I was very happy to draw SUCH an AMAZING SPIDER
I love them. And you should.

I have been unable to rest until i actually finished these sketches of my Ananasi boy, Caiden
He is a Secean (Tenere Mymidon, aka Weaver Aligned Warrior caste of the werespiders) who only went through his Metamorphosis (=First Change) not too long ago. Neither he nor his family knew anything about changing breeds as he was adopted, but luckily for him young Ananasi get instructed by fellow werespiders :p
not sure im completely satisfied with his Lilian form, but the original sketch has literally bin in my WIP folder for years and i finally want to get it out of my head so there you go
EDIT: added a tweaked Lilian form for him, I like it better this way. more spider-like >:3c

Some Southamerican headcannon in WtA
I’m chilean and I’ve playing WtA since a year and I enjoy it a lot, but there is some stuff bothering me about how little or misinformed are the official resources about south america in WoD, I mean is not bad but very limited, like there is some werewolves tribes from southamerica and vampire clans control the cities and wymr and pentex everywhere is right, but there is some headcannon or themes I think it could be expanded, like not all of south america is jungle (official sources since based mostly in Brazil), I write this from my urban reality in Chile and I’m just starting to learn about Vampire the Masquerade as the other bigger franchise in WoD. Here is some headcannon I usually count when I think about characters or setting in southamerica
I usually assume the Black Furies as the tribe most present in mediterranean Europe, besides Greece in Italy and Spain, for example in Italy related with the myth of wolf that feed Romulus and Remus and the spanish stories of witches and powerful women like in revolutions in Spain and Portugal too, so a lot of garou with spanish origins have Black Furies blood, some male and metis hidden in priesthood for example in jesuits and franciscan that came to america with the colonials, spanish inmigrants conquerer most of south america not carring women and with a somewhat interest in converting the natives than killing them so there is a lot more mixing and survival of native people than in North America
There isn’t any species of true wolves in South America (manned wolves are not true wolves), so lupus garou are really uncommon, but that could be expanded making it common that some garou breed with dogs and making possible with manned wolves, that aren’t wolves nor foxes but are canids, like the tanuki and dhole in Asia, if the Bunyip are based on the thylacines I think it should be possible, mostly Uktena lupus obviously, but based on myth of manned wolves related with spirits and the great extensions of terrain in the pampa and grasslands where this species lives (Argentina and Brazil mostly) I like to think they are related to Silent Striders and Red Talons, it could be noted that there was an extinct canid species related to the manned wolf in Falkland Islands too.
Since there is some big cats in South American this territories are the Bastet who watch over the few garous, this are lands of Balam in the jungle and Pumonca in the mountains, even some Rokea in the islands (Eastern Island, Galapagos Islands), but I think some smaller cat tribes should be added to represent small wild cats, similar to lynxes and there is a great variety of foxes that should be represented more in the kitsune, besides there is a lot of stories of magic and warlocks in the extreme south of south america so it can be related with those changebreed (Mokole, Ananasi, Nagah and even Camazotz should be common here too)
The most south (In Chile and Argentina) you go there is more european inmigrants that migrated here in times of war and industrial revolution to mark dominace to terrotories in young nations, so I assume there is some populations of Fianna (Irish and british inmigrants), Get of Fenris (German inmigrants) and Shadow Lords (Croatian inmigrants), Silent Striders (Palestinian and romani inmigrants) and Stargazers (Chinese and japanese inmigrants) Asian inmigrants are more present in the north of Chile, Peru and Brazil were there is great populations and some of the oldest of Asian inmigrants,in the Guyanas too, Chile as a country abolish the slavery very soon in its history compared with other countries so there is almost no black population, but some black people have come recently from Cuba, Haiti and Ecuador mostly, too thin relation with relatives to have populations of african fera
This are some stuff I hope it could be added in official sources about living here, I add this to my narrations and if someone is interested in this ask me whetever you want
