For real! Nothing takes me out of a fic quicker than a description of Charles as significantly shorter, weaker, more delicate, fragile, etc. compared to Max (and vice versa, but that's not common). Their height difference is 180 vs. 181 cm +/- a correction for slouching, and yes - Charles has a more lithe frame compared to Max's broader build, but like come ON - I swear some writers have never seen Charles. I once read a description of Charles' neck (YES HIS NECK FFS) as "thin" and "delicate" and have never rage-quit a fic so quickly. 😭🤢

TIL they used “sleep therapy” to help aviators get over their “mental symptoms” that prevented them from flying effectively, nowadays diagnosed as depression, anxiety, and/or PTSD. They would put them into comas in which they slept for as long as 72 hours to make it easier to come to terms with events that just recently happened by distancing themselves chronologically. For most, accompanied by a follow-up “sympathetic talk treatment” was enough to “cure” their symptoms.

Additionally, they might be given a drug known as a “truth serum” that induces semi-consciousness where doctors can poke and provoke patients in order to get him to relive the traumatic experience. The hope was the aviators would be able to overcome their fears and trauma by confronting them.

These treatments were both discontinued later in the war when they were found to be ineffective.

Now I’m wondering if Crosby was actually asleep or if they drugged him??

I was listening to only by leehi while taking a bath, then suddenly i thought of a story so here's how it goes. you and takemitchi can time travel (forget abt naoto, he grew a beard in the future 😤) then for years of you two fixing the future, you just cant, even though every tr character has fallen in love with you they just cant treat you right in the following future. mitsuya cheated on you with yuzuha, bonten trio has become abusive, kazutora didn't have time for you. all the timeskips you went, you saw their red flags, so every. on. of. them. became your ex (sadly, except for taiju, mochi, and the other oldiess, except for shin and waka 🙄) you've been sick of time traveling you had an illness, you and takemitchi came back to the real timeline and your mind has been stuck in the future, you've been spoiling them for whats gonna happen but you didn't know cause you thought it was already the future. ex. " yeah, ran can you pick up your niece. her teacher said that they're goin' home early today" all eyes were on you..... ' but we're still 15/16 whatcu sayin'" they thought.
