Show number 12 of the #Bluegrassjamboree . Very surreal venue called #Edelfett . Designed for electronic music and dance parties. I never expected to get everyone on that tiny stage! We had a nice loud crowd. After a discovering the St. Pauli nightlife, we are now on our way to Berlin. Columbia Club - awesome venue! 8 more shows coming up.

Akkordeonale film 2014 by Muriel and Imanuel Spiegel.

Like in 2013 they did and superb film about the music, passion and travelling of the unique accordion festival, which happens every year in spring. I am lucky enough to be part of this for the 2nd time and looking forward to 2015 (with some irish concertina).

The end of the year will be some shows in cologne (Werkstatt and Underground) and the Bluegrass Jamboree number 6.

Postupdate from september 11th:

Two shows with Tom Beck & the Horny Honks last saturday.

Rockabilly set with upright bass and new german songs.

The 2nd concert in Halver was at a gorgeous mill from 1465 (!!!).

Next blast with Tom will be in a mirror tent in Altenkirchen.

The venues are getting nicer and nicer...

This weekend I will enter the werkstatt in Cologne again,

after a long time and work for some japanese bands...

... which is always interesting!

Another awesome weekend with 2 great shows: Sondaschule at Rock'N'Heim and Shaggy at the Underground. I was joint by 2 friends (Tobi & Tobi) - so we saw a few nice live shows (Korn & Scrillex). I also met a few colleagues. After that I had a surprice at the Underground, Cologne: Mr. Boombastic himself came for a nice cosy show. Pure american entertainment - well done Mr. Shaggy.

It's already friday and I have Soledown and good old Tom Beck coming up!

Amphi 2014 at Tanzbrunnen, Cologne. The biggest festival this summer for me (so far)! Cool to work for TDA for the very first time. Cool to work in this venue! One of the first concerts in my life was at this place. "De Bläck Fööss" in the early eighties. Mamm, schnapp d'r de Pann....

Akkordeonal tour 2014! 32 shows in 33 day’s thru germany, austria and switzerland. Today is show nr. 14, so 18 more to come. What can I say: it is exhausting and pleasant at the same time. Great musicians, the company of Kristine and Servais and being in new venues. I still love my job!

This thursday, I will start a short tour with the band Sondaschule. 4 insane days in a sleeperbus. 2 shows are already sold out! I will post some nice pictures...

Irish Spring - 2014 - Over and out!

My tour highlight so far: show no.: 18 in Tübingen. Rocking crowd, strong and bassy PA stystem and prawn salat for diner. We got our flute player Alan from Keeva to do lights. I should come back in this town for a holiday (gell, Rainer?)...

Year 3 of Irish Spring for me. Show 14 of 29 - Stuhr in the north. After all this years I tour with my buddy's Alan, Gerry, Tola and Andy again. Nearly all of the old Grada. And we have a ball... Alan is MCing even on the bus. Check out www.irishspring.de
