Eyes fell on Lisa, the little girl who had been brought in. Charlotte remembers when she was brought in; even though it was years ago, she recalls how scared she had been. But back then, she was alone, and Lisa wasn’t. She made it her goal to keep Lisa safe. For the three years she was in the facility, Charlotte was the only one who was hurt—experimented on. Lisa, on the other hand, comforted her and hummed a tune Charlotte didn’t recognize, but it always managed to calm her.

It was hard to believe that Lisa lay on the floor life-less while Charlotte's body felt on fire. She was too weak to move, too weak to put Lisa behind her when the scientists came in. Even now- she couldn’t move; all she could feel was the stickiness of her own blood against her stomach while Lisa’s lifeless body was just a few feet away from her.

In some twisted way, Charlotte was relieved that Lisa didn’t suffer like she did; whatever serum was given had made her slip into darkness. She went peacefully—Charlotte’s mind was then jolted back to the loud sound of gunfire. Someone was here shooting, and it was only then that Charlotte’s body finally moved to hover over Lisa’s body in her last attempt to keep her safe.

Charlotte heard the door to the cell open, and all she could do was stand her ground, covering Lisa's body with hers. "Go away! You won't lay a hand on her!" Despite her exhaustion, ice formed on Charlotte's hands, and finally, she looked up at whoever entered the cell.

Crossing Universes [Closed]

Clark didn't know it yet as he stepped inside the Daily Planet for a little internship gig he managed to snag. He needed the community hours for graduation, and Chloe always said the Daily Planet was a good place to start. He was lost and looking for someone he could ask for directions, and that's when he bumped into one of the staff members. As he pushed his glasses up, he looked up.

"Excuse me, sir, I'm one of the interns supposed to start this week, and I have no idea where I can find Perry White. Could you just direct me to his office? I don't want to be late on the first day of my internship," Clark said. He had no idea that he was on another Earth and speaking to another version of himself, an older version.

A new life in a new city. 

Not the most original idea she ever had. But between the crippling disappointment from her father’s shadow, her mother adopting another child, and getting her once secure apartment broken into and her dog ending up with a broken leg. Well the move seemed the easiest way to compartmentalize the trauma until she could work through it. 

Jenna seemed happy enough. With the lack of stairs and a fenced in backyard to run around in, her quality of life had improved. Jayden took a couple of months to move in and settle into her new home.  Before converting one of the bedrooms into an office where she could apply her practice. It took a hell of a lot to get her licensing to go through, but eventually, she started taking patients again. Life seemed to be on the rise and things turning around from the break in that had sent her fleeing from her home in New York. 

She had found a new vet to take her companion to. She established herself as a psychologist able to practice out of her home. Though she would admit that there was a lot to get used to. Namely the amount of space she had. Going from a small apartment to a full three bedroom two bathroom house. The similar hustle and bustle of a city is the same if less crowded. She found it oddly soothing and enjoyed the slower change of tempo. 

She had recently been employed by a law firm, to be their on-call psychologist. To help them determine a client's mental state, signing waivers and contracts that stated she would work exclusively for them. So that she was unable to be called as a witness should she ever have to be summoned in a court trial. 

Which is how she found herself wandering down the street. She had stopped to get a latte from a local coffee shop. Her need to caffeinate before meeting the team she was supposed to be assigned to. With the steaming paper cup in hand she turned only to run into the very tall solid form of a man she hadn’t noticed was closer than she thought. The collision caused the liquid inside splattering over the man, and her hands. A soft cry of pain and despair that she lost her morning drink. 

“Ow, fuck that was hot!” She hissed under her breath, the cup having fallen to the floor when she jerked back to get some space. Shaking her hands she took a deep breath to work through the flash sting of pain before she looked up. 

“Oh my God, I am so sorry. I didn’t realise that you were standing right behind me.”

She crouches down, examining the prints from the horse's hooves before she lets out a quiet huff. IT SEEMS it has a lame leg, suffice it to say she'll need to help tend it if the horse plans on WALKING OR RUNNING again any time soon.

"Damn buddy, got you good didn't they?"

She gently pets the HORSE, her eyes focused on it to see if there's any other damage before shaking her head and glancing back down at the lame leg once more.

"Don't you worry, I'll get you right as rain soon."

The Evans sister's had discovered they were witches thanks to Severus. Petunia had been the first to arrive at Hogwarts, being sorted into Gryffindor. Not long after, her sister and Severus had followed, but it seemed they would be separated from him since he was sorted into Slytherin. No big surprise there. She remembered how he had always been talking about how great it was, but yet, kept whispering to the sorting hat not to put her in that house.

And here she was now, five years later, starting to regret that wish. It was strange, but looking back at it now, Petunia realized she had been too haste and judgemental when it came to Severus and his upbringing. Even if they had bickered here and there, having their moments, he had proven to be a rather intelligent and remarkable wizard for his age. However...she had noticed the way he started looking at her sister. It made Petunia feel like a third-wheel, no longer welcomed in the group.

There was a spark of...Wait. Was that...jealously?! Was she really jealous over her sister concerning him?! And yet, there was no denying the way her heart responded when just thinking about him. Merlin's beard...was she starting to fancy Severus Snape?! The answer to that was clear when she spotted him walking towards her, feeling how her heart fluttered. "Morning. If you're looking for Lily, I saw her go off with some of her friends. Did...did something happen between you two? She seemed...well...not like herself." It was as if she was avoiding him.

I'm not sure which muses of mine you would like but I can list which of yours I would be interested in playing against. Hopefully this helps a little! We can always talk about pairing certain muses up or plotting. C: I also have my favorite tropes listed under my FAQ, so if you see anything you like, we can always use that trope as a base for the pairing we decide on and build from there.

I do have one of your open starters for Tony saved in my drafts, so I do plan on writing up a reply to that at some point, too. I just haven't figured out which muse I want to throw at him yet. 🤔 I'm debating on using Loki, Billy, Charlie, Adrian, or Rina; Charlie would be interesting since she hacks into things (but she's lesbian, so that would be a platonic ship either way).

Blue are particularly interesting, as some of them I've had a hard time finding partners for. The ones with stars are characters/fandoms I'm not familiar with but would still play against. Some of them I would need to adjust my characters for but I don't mind that, either.
