The Evans sister's had discovered they were witches thanks to Severus. Petunia had been the first to arrive at Hogwarts, being sorted into Gryffindor. Not long after, her sister and Severus had followed, but it seemed they would be separated from him since he was sorted into Slytherin. No big surprise there. She remembered how he had always been talking about how great it was, but yet, kept whispering to the sorting hat not to put her in that house.

And here she was now, five years later, starting to regret that wish. It was strange, but looking back at it now, Petunia realized she had been too haste and judgemental when it came to Severus and his upbringing. Even if they had bickered here and there, having their moments, he had proven to be a rather intelligent and remarkable wizard for his age. However...she had noticed the way he started looking at her sister. It made Petunia feel like a third-wheel, no longer welcomed in the group.

There was a spark of...Wait. Was that...jealously?! Was she really jealous over her sister concerning him?! And yet, there was no denying the way her heart responded when just thinking about him. Merlin's beard...was she starting to fancy Severus Snape?! The answer to that was clear when she spotted him walking towards her, feeling how her heart fluttered. "Morning. If you're looking for Lily, I saw her go off with some of her friends. Did...did something happen between you two? She seemed...well...not like herself." It was as if she was avoiding him.
