Technoblade hated feelings. Because honestly, what the fuck is the point of them? But something about you just made his heart warm. Your smile made him feel like butterflies had made a home in his stomach.

And he hated it.

Hated that that you had all of that power.

He was the Blood God for fucks sake, why would he ever fall for a mere mortal.

But to him, you weren't a mere mortal. You were a goddess. His equal. Someone who he could always rely on. Your bravery and courage always amazed him. "Little Lionheart" he called you as you bandaged his bruised hands. Your own were beaten up as well. You had helped him in a fight again.

It terrified him, falling for you. He hated the idea of having a weak point and was terrified of you not feeling the same. So he set aside his feelings and distanced himself, because it was too painful to see your beauty and think that nothing could ever happen between you.

But you were fearless, his Little Lionheart. You had fallen for him as well. Had grown fond of his gruff voice and warm embrace. His fierce soul and kind heart.

But you misunderstood the distance he created. You thought he hated you. Didn't want to see you or spend time with you. And so during one of your few meetups, you asked him a question. You and your Lionheart personality asked him the question.

"Will you go on a date with me?"

Technoblade's mind went blank. He was hearing everything he ever wanted to hear and everything he was afraid of hearing at the same time. "I-"

Your racing heart made you blurt out, "Just please. One date. And then you can hate me."

Techno took your hands in his and breathed deeply, trying to calm his racing mind. "I will absolutely go on a date with you. But just know, I'll never hate you."

Sapnap really didn't want to tell you because - fuck - it was embarrassing. Even thinking about it made his face go red. But the discord call had gone silent and the secret was just pinging around in his mind. The voices of both Clay and George getting louder and louder.

"Y/n?" It was like an out of body experience, hearing his own voice say your name.

Your sweet voice filled his headphones, making his heart stutter and breath quicken. Honestly, it was unfair, the effect you had on the poor man.

His mind was screaming to just blurt it out-

"My friends think we're dating."

Utter silence. No sound. Just Sapnap's heart beating so loud he could have sworn you could hear it. The silence scared him. But his heart shattered when you left the call. Leaving just him sitting there. Staring at the screen, longing for your voice to fill his headphones once again.

But a new message popped up in discord. From you. And Sapnap didn't need to check the unnecessarily fancy Apple Watch that Dream had gotten him to know that his heart rate was through the roof.

"Sapnap," the first message read. "Sorry for leaving the call so quickly, I panicked."

a pause as you typed, but the message came through almost immediately after. "I don't know if you feel the same, but I like you. and hearing that, just-"

"anyway"

"would you like to go on a non-platonic Minecraft date?"

Sapnap didn't have to think about his reply. "absolutely"

The sight of familiar white glasses perched on a familiar head of curly brown hair makes your heart skip. Your feet seem to fly off the ground as you run to him. To George. To your boyfriend. To the love of your life.

"George!" You call. And he sees you. Among the crowd of people, he sees you.

And he seems to hesitate, seems to think about whether or not you're actually real. But he must want you to be real so desperately, because the next thing you know, he's sprinting at you too.

You guys crash into a hug, spinning around with the force of your embrace.

"George!" your voice is breathless from your running.

"Y/n." so is his. but even still, you can hear the love and adoration. hear the pure joy that he's seeing you again.

He cups your face in his hands. Runs his soft thumbs over your cheekbones, his breath fanning across your face. The dark-haired boy who stole your heart leans close. And you close the distance. Your lips meet in the slow, loving kisses the two of you have always shared.

You two pull away, but only enough to rest your foreheads together. George's thumbs stroke your cheekbones again, as if to reassure him that you are real.

"I thought you were dead," he says breathlessly. "Everyone said you were dead."

You smile softly. "Well, Death and I made a deal." You kiss him again. A short peck on the lips. "After all, you can't get rid of me that easily."
