Co-op Mode Warning (RESOLVED)
Hoyoverse hasn't put out an official announcement yet, but this is a serious issue, so I'm taking some liberties here. Do not let anyone you don't know into your world for now! There is a recently discovered exploit that allows hackers to use Kaveh and a third party app to permanently remove content from your world. So far, it's only been recorded in Chinese servers, but until we have confirmation that it's fixed, I recommend rejecting random co-op requests to be safe. Video evidence here.
The removal is on the server side, so logging out or uninstalling the game will not restore lost content. Hackers can also use this to delete the Traveler, which locks you out of your account entirely.
For clarification:
Update: This issue has been resolved. If you lost any items due to this exploit, please contact customer service.

"Now there are two things we can do." Brian said and looked at Beverly and Jimmy. "We tell Tim that Will is in a relationship or we let Tim be delusional just so we can see Dr. Lecter being jealous right in front of us."
"Tim from the HR department?" Jimmy asked a bit lost. "I go on vacation for once and I miss all the drama."
"Basically, this guy Tim is fruity." Beverly explained. "He's been visiting the lab for all kinds of stupid reasons only to interact with Will or to ask us about Will."
"Why didn't you tell him? He's taken for life."
"That's exactly what I was telling you two just now. We could tell him or we could see what happens." Brian went on. "Imagine being Will and having two men fight for you."
"Are you jealous, Z?" Beverly asked, making Brian scowl.
"No one is fighting for Will, Hannibal has already won."
"He has but does he seem to be the type to accept other people flirting with his hubby?" Jimmy asked rhetorically.
"That's a different story, you wouldn't want to see a man flirt with your wife either."
"Dr. Lecter is consulting on the case today. If we are lucky, Tim will come by. The funniest part is that Will is completely oblivious to his attempts."
*
"The victims not only have the eye colour in common. That was supposed to throw us off." Will said thoughtfully as he looked at the three bodies. "It's something else."
"We ran all the tests. Nothing similar." Jimmy replied.
"I mean, they did have the same blood type." Beverly added. "They are all B negative."
"I suggest you all find something more specific than that, we are not about to tell people to stay indoors if they have green eyes and the B negative blood type." Jack demanded a bit too impatiently. "Doctor?"
Hannibal was reading the case file just as Beverly was handing him the report following their tests. "We will find it, Jack." He replied not even lifting his glance but reassuringly enough for Jack to be satisfied.
The door of the lab opened and everyone moved their glance towards the visitor.
"Oh, hi, sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt."
As soon as everyone noticed it was Tim, their attention went back to the case file. Brian elbowed Jimmy subtly but not discreet enough for Hannibal to miss it. What he didn't miss was also the fact that this man who had just entered smelled really cheap.
"I hope I'm not intruding, I will be real quick."
Jack rolled his eyes. "What, Tim? What is it? Unless you solve this case I don't want to know."
Tim turned his head away from the dead bodies, visibly horrified. "I...sorry, no, not my domain. Unless they are trying to apply for a job here." He said and laughed awkwardly.
The joke made everyone in the room eye him at the same time, in a way that made Tim wish for the earth to swallow him.
"Anyway...I brought Will a coffee."
Hannibal flipped the page loudly enough for everyone in the room to hear it. "There is not sufficient information on the third victim. No medical history." He said as he watched the man hand Will the cup of coffee.
He gave Beverly a questioning glance. If anyone in that lab knew what was going on, she was the one. She shrugged awkwardly.
"We couldn't contact any relative of the last victim yet. That is why a lot of information is missing." Will explained. "Thanks'." He said absently as he accepted the cup of coffee.
Tim smiled widely, making Brian bite his own tongue in an attempt not to laugh.
"I like your shirt." Tim blurted out just like a teen who has been practicing the whole morning in front of the mirror.
Will was not phased, he was so focused on the third body that he didn't even hear the remark.
"I do too, I got it for him." Hannibal replied, making all the eyes in the room go to him. To Hannibal, that was never something to intimidate him. On the contrary. "It matches his eye color."
Brian kicked Jimmy again almost making him lose his balance.
However the most precious view in the room was the way Tim's face paled instantly. Out of pure stupidity, he tried to feed his own delusion and went on to ask:
"Aren't you Will's psychiatrist?" He had to convince himself that handsome man was nothing more than that.
Hannibal appreciated the poor thing for doing his homework. Although not completely.
This time Brian could not hold back his laughter, earning a punch in the shoulder from Jimmy.
Jack sighed loudly in his habitual "why can we never focus on the case" manner and didn't even make an effort to explain anything. "Please return to the HR office if you are done."
Hannibal made a mental note. Tim from HR. It was just as good as a business card. "Not anymore. Fact which makes buying clothes for my husband completely ethical."
Will lifted an eyebrow subtly.
"I didn't know Will was married." Tim mumbled taken aback, his heart and spirit visibly breaking.
"Will didn't know either." Will replied. "But I suppose I'm as good as married, indeed." He added thoughtfully before looking at one particular detail on each body.
"How does this discussion help us solve the case?" Jack asked, the frustration visible on his face.
"It does, in fact. If you check the victims you will notice they each wear the same ring. If you trace that back to the jewelry shop they got it from, we will have a new lead."
"I should have Tim in the lab more often." Jack said, pleased by the new connection.
"I don't think I will ever be able to come by. I don't like being led on." Tim said and left the room, making Brian almost choke.
"Who was that?" Will asked when he heard the door of the lab. "And how did I end up with this coffee?"

Inhales. You know what gets me when I think about Heart of Thorns. The anti-sylvari sentiment in-universe was SO real for a while there. During the period of time where the whole world of Tyria learned the secret that Wynne had died to protect, that sylvari came from the jungle dragon, that they were made to serve it. Everyone turned on them. Friends, lovers, commanding officers, it didn't matter anymore. They COULD turn mordrem at any time, so you had to assume that they would. You couldn't trust something that belonged to a dragon. Even Laranthir (of the Wild) right after the crash, being held captive by his own people, waiting for him to go feral and tear their throats out. The sylvari Commander was granted a little wiggle room, a little space to walk around freely, but it's all very conditional. Prove you're a good one, that you won't fall to the dragon. There's the event in Verdant Brink where they round up all the sylvari in a camp and ask you to interrogate them, to break them down until they confess to being mordrem. And inevitably a few of them are hiding among the camp, but an equal number of sylvari run from you in fear, more afraid of you and the Pact than the certain death of the jungle beyond. The other innocents that stay don't have a choice. It's keep your head down and don't say anything or be killed, one way or another, while the Commander that you've worked under for the past couple of years interrogates a crying novice, asking if they've heard a voice. And who hasn't heard the voice at that point? The Commander admits to hearing it too. Canach likens it to a buzzing fly. Irritating. Nothing more. Strong willed sylvari don't stumble when Mordremoth speaks. But even that's not true; maybe not everyone's played Heart of Thorns on a sylvari Commander, but the closer you get to the dragon, you start to falter, to black out and lose time. In its domain you actually do fall to it. Briefly. Just for a while, you forget who you are and what you're doing there, and mordrem start giving you killing orders. And you snap out of it and never tell anyone, never. They can't know how close you got.
But what GETS ME is that after the dragon is dead, no one talks about it. It all returns to normal. Like the tension was never there in the first place. I'm sure there might be some loaded quips about sylvari in Living World Season 3 right after, but the next time I actually can recall it coming up is in Path of Fire. Right as you get into Desert Highlands; Canach says something about "I always knew this whole human/gods arrangement wouldn't work out" and Kasmeer shoots back "This coming from someone with a DRAGON in their family tree." And that's that. No one actually really discusses it in-game. They all moved on and don't care if you're a dragon minion or not.
Which. Augh. WHAT!!!!! NO ONE CARES? I'm sure it's a better end-user experience than if everyone you encountered as a sylvari player was like "OOOOOH I DON'T TRUST YOUR TYPE... YOU WRETCHED DRAGON PLANT FOLK" but narratively it's a little boring. At least in the sense that it doesn't feel finished. There should still be tons of anti-sylvari sentiment in Tyria and propaganda spread to force them out of parts of society and stupid hoops to jump through to be considered safe. Just as I think that sylvari should still hold anti-asura sentiment--you're telling me their small second generation had a huge group taken away and tortured to death and there's no ingrained fear of it happening again? I want my sylvari commander to have met Gorrik in LWS4 and been like haha. uh. 😥 (do I really have to work with this guy. An inquest...) (and EVENTUALLY come to like and trust him!) instead of the game plowing over it like oh yeah don't worry about it n_n the facility exploded and all so he doesn't work there now don't worry n_n NO I'M WORRIED!-- again I'm sure that the smoothing over of Everything is a better end-user experience. rather than everyone you meet being rude to you or vice versa. However----💥 (I am killed by a sniper from a long distance so that I stop talking before I begin delving into the prejudices that are already baked into the narrative)

Hola deer I was wondering what are your thoughts of who might have Al on a leash…I know many people are speculating it to be Lilith, but I feel like There is no way Al had a whole breakdown song just for being Lilith lackeys. True it might be that he just wants his power back, but the idea of Lilith requesting Al to keep an eye on the hotel it’s not that bad per se. The way he reacted when Husk mentioned his leash, that was the face of a man who is terrified to lose control and making a deal with Charlie was his last remedy.
The man is desperate and I can’t stop thinking about the fact the he was already so powerful when he come to hell, And unless he met someone who had a lot of knowledge on the place before dying, I doubt he would have got the title of overlord that quickly. Someone must have helped him right?! Same with Lilith. As the story goes she became so very powerful when she feel in hell, but how? Do u just know what your power are and how to use them when u die? Lilith was the first of her kind to get down there, there was no one she could have taken inspiration from. And what about Al’s shadow? I mean what shadows have in correlation with a deer man with a microphone? To me it would make much more sense if when Al was alive, he got in contact with someone very powerful from hell and made the naive mistake to trust it. He sold his soul and he got shadows to help him through his murders, then Upon dying, he made a second mistake and momentarily forgot about his leash, going around and killing Overlords for his own entertainment, until he was called back to fulfill his end of the bargain.
My speculation is that root must have his soul and maybe even Lilith’s soul, or at least some kinda of deal with her, that got her to be the queen she is remembered as. Heaven is the only place where root eyes are not visible, and it might explain why Lilith disappeared for 7 years in the angel land , same as Al. Maybe Lilith helped Al in exchange of him taking care of his daughter for her or something, and while they were together Lilith might have accidentally influenced Al’s opinion on the king of hell as well, causing the man to hate him at first sight lol
Just imagining Lilith ranting about his ex husband to Alastor, like Charlie did about Vaggie, when they were going to cannibalism town it’s so funny to me.
I like the idea that She's just Luci's long-suffering wine mom friend who is amicably divorced from him and ends up gaining a second man child once Luci and Al get together. I think her being the villain it’s just too cliche and I feel like it would be so much better if she actually start bickering with Lucy, angry talking like two feral cats lol
But let me know what you think😆
I get why a lot of people are speculating that Lilith has Alastor on a leash, and I wouldn't be surprised (or upset) if she does, but I really think it's Roo.
Or, at least, I want it to be her so badly.
I agree that I don't think Alastor would have a mental breakdown over being Lilith's lackey. Honestly, I don't agree with whole idea/concept that Lilith is even the bad guy. Like, I won't be mad if she is, because I love corrupt or morally grey female characters, but I think there is so much more going on them meets the eye.
A lot of people saw that 5 second glimpse of her onscreen during the season finale and kind of just assumed she ditched Hell and her family to live it up in Heaven, but I just...that makes absolutely no sense to me, especially given how she's been depicted in the background during the show. Given what little we know about Lilith, I just cannot see her leaving Lucifer, Charlie, and her entire domain to go fuck around in Heaven, whom I imagine she wouldn't have a very good relationship with, anyway.
And yes! I also massively agree about Alastor getting his power from some kind of source. It was specifically stated that he was toppling Overlords and gaining power faster than anyone ever has before, and from what we can deduce from the show, Alastor has the power to actually kill sinners - which isn't supposed to be possible. The only way sinners are supposed to die is with angelic weaponry.
Not only that, it also hasn't been hinted or implied that anyone else has been able to rip apart souls like he does. As far as we've seen from the other Overlords, the most you can do is own someone's soul.
So we have Alastor over here rising to the top of the food chain almost over night, gaining power at a rapid pace, with abilities that no one else seems to have. Yeah, I 100% believe he made a deal with someone when he first came into Hell, and I think that person was Roo.
I mean, what motive would Lilith have for making a deal with this random sinner who just entered Hell? Out of the hundreds (if not thousands) of sinners who have to be arriving in Hell by the day? What would she have to gain by doing that? What could Alastor possibly offer her that she, the Queen of Hell, can't do herself?
But Roo? She's the Root of all Evil. She doesn't need a reason. She can be evil for the sake of being evil. I can see her picking a random, wide-eyed, recently deceased sinner and giving them the deal of a lifetime - one that she can cash in on later.
And even if it wasn't random, I can see her looking for a lackey to give power to, to then use as a pawn farther down the road. I can see her being cunning and careful with who she picks, and I 100% believe she would see Alastor's insecure ass and know that guy would do anything to get power (the faster the better), especially if he only just died and didn't yet understand the full scale and structure of Hell, and how serious those kinds of deals are.
(And I can also see Alastor making a deal with Roo when he was alive and then suffering the consequences of it when he died. That's be super cool.)
As for why, well, Roo obviously doesn't have much sway in Hell, despite being the Root of all Evil, because we don't see or hear about her at all throughout the show. If she had power over any of the 7 Rings, we would've seen it or heard about it. In fact, she's only been alluded to once, and that was in the first episode, during the opening sequence of Charlie explaining Hell's origin story.
Still, Roo has to interact with Hell in some way, considering she's the personification of evil and this is THE place for wickedness and corruption. I just don't think she has power or dominion there. At least, not yet ;)
I think she's been cooking up a scheme for a while and what we're seeing in season 1 is her slowly putting the game pieces into place. I think she has Alastor on a leash (that she's had him on a leash for a while but she's only just now using it), and I think she's also the reason Lilith is in Heaven.
I mean, when you think about it, of course she would want Lilith out of the picture if she's trying to make a power grab in Hell. Lilith was the one running the place. She thrived in Hell. She empowered it. So getting her out of the picture makes perfect sense, and who would even think to look for Lilith in Heaven? The very last place you'd expect her to be?
I don't know, the whole idea that Lilith is just a big bad evil women who doesn't care about her family and hates Hell and wants nothing to do with either of them just...it doesn't sit right. It doesn't make sense.
I do think that Lilith and Alastor have met each other in some way, though. The both of them disappearing for 7 years, at the same time, is too much of a coincidence (I want her and Alastor to be besties :3) and I just KNOW that there is more to Lucifer and Lilith's divorce than people give it credit for. I want those juicy details. I want a full blown argument between them so we can get that tea.
But if Lilith does end up being one of our antagonists in season 2, I won't be upset, cuz like I said, give me those morally corrupt women. They'll be loved and appreciated here.
Still, my gut says its Roo. And even if Roo isn't directly holding Alastor's leash, I think she's involved in some way and that she's going to be coming into play eventually. She seems like the type who would manipulate things from the shadows, using people as pawns, and playing a game that no one else even realizes they're playing. I want her to be a psychotic little mastermind trash lady.
I neeeeeeed it.
#I have so many theories okay#so many thoughts#Im so certain that Roo is going to become our main big bad in the show#especially because Viv SAID this show is more centered around women#but#if Roo doesn't show up#or none of my theories are correct#ill have the clown make-up ready#but my gut tells me she's going to show up!#she has to!#nothing else makes sense!#nothing else matches up with the clues and background information we were given in the show!#Lilith can't just be a big bad women who hurt or abused poor little baby man Lucifer#she can't just be the neglectful mother who fucked off after its been implied how close her and Charlie's relationship was#THERE HAS TO BE SO MUCH MORE HERE#theories#Hazbin Hotel theories#Analysis#Roo#The Root of All Evil#Roo Hazbin Hotel#lilith morningstar#hazbin lilith#hazbin alastor#hazbin hotel alastor#alastor the radio demon#alastor#asks#twosoulss77

A Service to the King Ch. 16 (A Sidlink Omegaverse Story)
Chapter 16: Ticking Clock
Sidon had remained on the bed, glaring at the sight of the image of himself holding Link as the blonde nuzzled against his chest.
He hated this. He hated that he was jealous of himself.
He should have seen this coming. He knew he had done something wrong by biting Link through that channel. Sure he had bitten his own pillow but he had done something permanent regardless to the omega he fell for years ago.
And now it felt like he was watching Link being mated to someone else. It put a lot into perspective for him honestly. He didn't want anyone else to have Link. He wanted Link to be his own. He wanted Link to be his omeaga.
He knew it was the right thing to let him go. To break that bond by taking over his safe so he had a chance with an alpha that wouldn't hide him or hide being his mate.
But deep down he just wasn't able to do that. He wanted Link to be happy. With him. But then there was his own issues.
He was the king of the domain. He had a kingdom to run, people to guide. And he had a wife and a child on the way.
Breaking the bond with Yona was breaking the bond with his people and his queen. What would she do if that sort of thing were to happen?
Would she be upset? Angry? Sad?
He loved her as a sister, not I in a way that she wanted him to he supposed. They had only mated once and nothing became of it. With Link's help they were able to conceive the rightful heir to the throne and solidify his family into the kingdom.
Seperating from Yona was taking that away, or at least that's what he was leading himself to believe right now.
To make matters worse they were on a time clock with Link. The longer he stayed bonded the harder it would be to break the bond.
And it wasn't like they could keep him seperated from his sage. Link was at a risk of losing his life either way if he didn't decide vey soon.
And the princess was hounding him for an answer so much that her eyes had blazed a purple color and she had to excuse herself from the room to calm down.
He looked to Link, looking so content despite the state he had found him in when he had first arrived. It was like he didn't exist.
Closing his eyes he let out a small sigh. He had to do something. And honestly he had a feeling he would know what to do.
“Link....” Sidon said looking at the omega as he peered over at him. “Could you come here please? I need to ask you something.”
Link frowned a bit, pressing further into the sage near him.
“I don't want to,” he said. That was honestly a little not like Link. He was always so nice and never one to whine or act like this. This truly had changed him.
Perhaps it was because he was heading towards a heat? He wasn't sure. If Link were to act like this he wanted him to act like this with him and him alone.
Not a shadow of himself.
Sidon let out a small sigh, laying his arms open and then he tapped into the sage.
“Link,” he said through it. “I need you to be over there.”
He reached and laid Link in his own arms of his original body. “Send the sage away. I just want to check something. Can you do that for me?”
Link frowned at that.
“But,” he said, shifting to try to get up. Sidon held his hand up.
“Stay omega. Please.”
Link hesitated but he did as he was told, remaining in Sidon's lap. The king let out a heavy sigh. This was going to be more difficult than he thought. He was sure Link was going to fight him as he....tried to change what happened.
“Now, he is going to do things that you may not like,” Sidon said in a stern voice. “Let him. Understood omega?”
“Yes alpha...” Link sighed and frowned.
“Now I want you to dismiss the sage,” he said next.
“But then you'll be gone,” Link said quickly, a look of panic coming to his face. “I just started to feel like myself again. Please don't make me send you away.”
Sidon felt those words stab into him. Link was afraid of dying he really had to change something if he wanted to get him to relax.
“You will see me again. I promise,” Sidon declared. “Now, be a good omega and dismiss me.”
Link hesiatated but then let out a sigh, dismissing Sidon's sage. The king opened his eyes in his own body once more, letting out a small gasp and looking down to the weight in his lap.
Link eyed him a bit and glanced away. Sidon could feel his nervousness. Being a freshly marked omega and not near his alpha really did change a person.
It was a wonder how Yona never seemed to act this way. Perhaps it was because they were always near one another.
Though now he wasn't and he hoped it wasn't affecting her negatively. Perhaps this change would save his queen as well.
“Things will be come clear soon,” Sidon promised him, taking Link's hand and kissed the clawed tips slowly. Link flushed which gave Sidon's mind a little hope. Link still loved him but he was having conflicting feelings.
With a breath Sidon urged him up against his chest. Link hesitated but he did, hugging the king as he would and even exposing his marked neck to him. Sidon's eyes ran over the bite, noting it had a blue hue. His thumb reached up to rub against it, Link immediately tensing in his arms.
“It'll be okay. I promise,” Sidon said.
He leaned in, brushing his lips against Link's neck slowly. Link tensed in his arms once more, hands seeming to brace aganist his shoulders to push back.
“Sidon?” Link asked. He sounded conflicted. He sounded like he was in pain. “Please don't take away my alpha.”
“I am your alpha,” Sidon said. “But I'm changing the connection to this.”
Without another word he leaned in closer, his mouth opening. Link immedaitely pushed back, his eyes wide with fear.
“But you'll take him away,” Link said, Sidon shook his head reaching out and cupped Link's cheek.
“Link I need you to listen to me,” he said, feeling Link trembling in his arms. “I am your alpha through that sage. But we both know we can't have the sage out all the time. It could end up taking your life in the end. You don't want that do you?”
Link looked into his gold eyes and shook his head.
“Then please allow me to fix my mistake,” Sidon said. He didn't want to force him. He never wanted to force him. He just wanted to save his life.
Link's body relaxed slowly.
“Okay...” he said softly. Sidon smiled, kissing the top of his head and then leaned in once more. Link didn't fight him this time as he placed his mouth around the other bite and then bit down. Link let out a grunt in his arms, hands braced against his chest.
Sidon felt something inside of him break but a new bond form immedaitely after. Sidon let out a rumble as he felt Link's arms wrap around his body.
*
Yona let out a gasp of pain and her hand immedaitely went to her neck where her mating mark was. She blanched, looking up at Bazz who stood next to her.
They were standing before the former king, discussing some matters of where the child's nursery would be when it was born when the sudden pain had come over the queen.
“What is it?” Bazz asked softly. “Is it Sidon? Had something happened to him on his sudden journey to see the princess?”
She looked to Bazz, confusion in her eyes, tears welling up as she looked up at the king.
But a smile was on her face.
“You can speak freely Yona,” Dorephan said softly. “No one is here and you may speak what is on your mind. Anyone who let's this information out before it is ready will be held responsible and close to treason. What ails you?”
“Nothing,” She said looking to the two of them. She swallowed and moved her hand off her neck. The once vibrant mark that Sidon had left on her was now starting to fade.
“Has something happened to Sidon?” Bazz asked, the worry in his voce making the pitch rise but neither the former king or queen made note of it. “He has finally done it,” Yona said softly, taking a seat, feeling slightly light headed from the sudden rush of being released as a mate.
“I do hope he's ready for what is to come after that,” Dorephan sighed softly. “But I am glad that he is finally following his heart.”
“I don't mean to sound harsh but would someone please explain to me what is going on?” Bazz asked the two of them, bringing Yona a glass of water.
She sipped at it while thanking him quietly.
“Sidon has broken his mating bite with me. He has bitten another to claim them. I am a single omega,” she explained.
“You mean he...”
“Yes,” Dorephan continued for Yona. “It seems my son has finally chosen love over duty. He has chosen to mark them Champion Link as his mate. I'm sure Link must be marking him right now as we speak. Forming a bond.”
“My queen,” Bazz said, his eyes shining with a yearning that he only held for her. “You are happy for this change?”
“Yes and no,” she admitted softly. “I am sad that the bond is over. I do truly love Sidon but not in that way. I am also sad that it will make things more difficult in our kingdom.”
She reached for the other Zora's hand, taking it in her own and holding it close to her. Bazz smiled softly at her.
“But I am glad that he is with the one he wishes,” she said. “It was painfully obvious that he was in love with Link. I just wish he had spoken to me about it rather than leave things as they were.”
“You two must have a discussion when he returns,” Dorephan urged. “For now we tell no one of what has happened.”
“Yes of course,” Yona said softly, wiping a tear from her eyes. She waved away Bazz's concern and then stood up, cradling the egg that was in a piece of cloth attatched to her chest to keep it close.
“Then we should also keep secret about that as well,” Bazz said which had Yona freezing.
“Yona,” Dorephan said with a scowl. “What does he mean about the egg?”
“I...” she said and flushed soon taking Bzz's hand who looked like he had seen a ghost. He had screwed up. Big time.
“The...egg doesn't belong to Sidon. Even with Link's help with what he had done, it was no help at all for me to conceive an heir,” she said softly.
She looked shameful and ready to cry even harder. This was her biggest secret and now she had to reveal it to the former king.
“The father is Bazz.”

Yeah I need to re-read those chapters too, I feel like I skipped through some stuff or maybe it was the leaks that confused me? Because when I see the leaks I kind of skip that panel because I saw it, does it make sense? Guess not XD
Yes! I can't wait to see what Gege is cooking for us!
I agree, but the prison wouldn't be Yuji's body and soul? Like the combo?
For now I only see the body swapping thing the only way to save megumi, unless there is something about that last finger ( I like the theory of nobara waking up and hitting it, but... if gojo couldn't destroy it, can she resonate that thing? She needs to pierce it and I don't think she can)
At this point I am just hoping choso and Hiromi won't die XD I love them a lot, mostly because Hiromi is like an oc of mine and choso is too precious, so cute XD
Remembered about the comedian guy, I wonder what his role would be too? It was said the dude was very powerful, dunno what he can pull off.
Oh yes, I really like Sukuna XD he is a good villian, he is evil because he vibes with it, he is strong because he wants to be, he eats and kill people because yes XD no complicated reasons, he is just true to himself. I like that.
Can't help but wonder what kind of pact/contract he did with kenjaku though. Someone like sukuna must have a good reason for that, just wonder what it is...
And I really like his annoyed expression XD like when talking with yorozu or inside his domain after taking yuji's heart out XD love that face!
Yes! I think as of right now both yuji and sukuna have a personal beef. Sukuna because yuji is his prison and whether he likes it or not, yuji is good at suppressing him. For yuji, well, poor boy was / is tortured by sukuna.
Oh which makes me think, if sukuna and yuji ends up on the same body, will their pact return? The one that sukuna cannot kill anyone? It should, because it something done with yuji's soul... maybe that's the key to saving megumi?
Bah! I get so excited to read what happens next!
This manga has been really fun, truly! Heart breaking at times, but so much fun!
I wish I could thank Gege somehow... ih sorry for blabbering about this XD
As to the the body and soul being the prison together, i think so, yes. In JJK there's really little difference between the two, more like one feeds into the other. The body being the byproduct of the soul, from Mahito's pov. But also the body retaining some of the soul even after death what Kenjaku uses to retain the techniques of the bodies they wear. And also what Sukuna uses to transfers himself between vessels, because the finger he rips off and feeds to Megumi is well, dead the moment it separates from Yuuji.
I think Nobara's power could work with Sukuna's finger, I mean it can't be destroyed but putting a nail in it isn't exactly destroying it. If Yuuji ate it, she'd just need to put a nail into him and that's easy. I have my gripes with the Yuuji will eat the last finger theory because it feeds into the fandom shittakes of "Yuuji's powers come from Sukuna, he's nothing without Sukuna". But it's not completely impossible that he will eat it. And I'm all for Nobara coming back and fighting alongside Yuuji, I love her and love it when they pair up. But truth be told, I'd rather the last finger didn't come into play, at least not as something Yuuji would eat.
I also hope for Higuruma and Chousou's survival, I also hope for Hakari and Kirara surviving because they are such a sweet couple. I also want Maki to survive, she had to endure enough, she deserves a break. And I want Hana to survive and be able to save people. And I want Uro to survive because she deserves a better life than the one she had before. Also if Gege kills Yuuji I will lose my mind. But I know the cursed cat is capable...
Takaba can theoretically pull of anything but he isn't exactly trained or fully aware of his powers. And he also needs to come up with a joke to make that happen. But I hope he does something fun.
As to Sukuna having a contract with Kenjaku, he might have one. But he might also just be interested in what Kenjaku is up to, Sukuna is a little cursed energy nerd too. He might hide it under the feral hunky image, but he clearly loves jujutsu and has thought about it a lot. Other than that he might simply owe Kenjaku without a binding vow, it's not impossible that Kenjaku and/or Tengen took in this unwanted child. There are so many possibilities, I hope Gege gives us a Heian flashback soon.
That one binding vow Sukuna had with Yuuji is done, fulfilled. It spanned a minute. Sukuna said he wasn't going to hurt anyone for a minute after he said "enchain". And I think Yuuji can cage him without a vow anyway, he'd just need to be in the same body as Sukuna again.
Sukuna has amazing expressions. And I especially love that the belly mouth is expressive too. It's also amazing how distinct his expressions are from his vessels'. Amazing job by Gege. And Sukuna refusing to engage with his little fandom really made me love him.

I stumbled upon this today and now I’m really puzzled, I don’t think anyone could’ve answered this question better than you so, can you please clarify why Nettles didn’t get any rewards from Rhaenyra like the other dragon seeds? Is it just the timeline of events that made rhaenyra promise Hugh and Ulf castles and marriages but not Nettles, is it accomplishments or is it because she’s a female bastard or something else?
It has much less to do with accomplishments (Ulf and Hugh are not told to be the ones who brought Rocby and Stokeworth in, after all) and more to do with Nettles being a brown bastard girl of 17 AND Rhaenyra losing two kids before, her mourning further made the room for her wanting the easier path/path of least resistance--which is the blood purist, conservative one.
Rosby-Stokeworth Account ("Rhaenyra Triumphant")
Account about the Red sowing and Jace's Promises ("The Red Dragon and the Gold"):
A) Thinking from Rhaenyra/Jace's Perspectives
Yes because she was female. That, overlappingly and inextricably tying that to:
1.
She was 17 with no family to claim her and join her to protect whatever Rhaenyra would give her, or assure that her husband would not take adan=vanrtage and assume authority over properties the blacks themselves would want assurance of control through Nettles if they were to marry her immediately off during the war. Let's say they really thought this far ahead: I don't think they had the confidence that she'd be able to keep total control over said bestowment and keep it, thus, under their own influence.
While both Addam and Alyn were in their teens, they also had the Velaryons at their backs. Not only are the Velaryons the blacks and their supporters, Corlsy specifically asked Rhaenyra to legitimize him, as with Laenor's death there was no male heir from Corlys himself.
And since Addam and Alyn were both males, so they wouldn't have as much trouble keeping said privileges and control or be as challenged (after being legitimized) as a female bastard.
But Nettles was alone. Once again, Rhaenyra and Jace both are trying to bolster/support their own overall claims and military-dragon line to succeed, and advertising that men would still get to acquire these sorts of things works to convince as many as possible men to join. They are not, however, going to turn away the unexpected claimer/dragon rider when that just adds to what they need and when she has already succeeded and can't be left floating around when they themselves need riders.
What would these lords and Corlys (though he shouldn't talk, look at Addam!, who is his kid and NOT a Targ/descended from a dragon riding Valyrian family) think of Rhaenyra making Nettles a lady in her own right of a castle? What was already told in F&B.
Now marriage, there might have been some offers since Westerosi lords want dragons themselves, even if Nettles was considered "ugly" by them simultaneously. Marriage =/= autonomous authority over a castle, and would have been an alternative way to reward Nettles, considering that Jace promises to wed the successful "men" with their daughters marrying into noble houses, as OP mentions. But the protest against Nettles having a castle, I think, would have been stronger than those against Rosby and Stokeworth's daughters inheriting those domains and seats, because Nettles, compared to them, is the "outsider".
2.
From the jump, Jace meant any male dragon seeds, and in action he accepted Nettles. This is foreshadowing/preclude to the Rosby-Stokeworth conundrum.
There's the expectation that the female dragon seed pool is not likely going to try as Nettles did anyway because this is a patriarchal world that discourages girls in households and families (which Nettles doesn't have) from having any militaristic expectations for themselves. The ones that do are either closer to the Valyrian customs as they were actively practiced (Visenya) or in special cases where they are noble, rich, and have no available male heir who can also perform those militaristic duties. So more likely, you will have girls and women not try to claim a dragon even without said proclamation being specific to men. That itself creates the expectation in Jacaerys to say "men" specifically.
Nettles was comparatively, to this whole plan/intention, expendable why still in a way needed.
B) Nettles' Role and Position in the Black Faction
It's also because she, by being darker-skinned and not having those typical Targ physical features in any way puts into question (but doesn't really blast away) the determination of "only Targs" can ride dragons. I have a Twitter post about it HERE. Perhaps if she had at least ONE typical Targ physical trait ("The Red Dragon and the Gold"):
perhaps she would have married into a house of Rhaenyra/Jace's choosing. But because she's an "anomaly" they perceive, they probably wished to put more thought and consider her AFTER winning the war, use her for what they can for the war, and focus on the war while it's happening. They have not decided, really, how she would fit into their overall claims to power, because her looks (rather what the Andal lords around make of them) would always create questions.
I really recommend reading the Twitter thread, it explains what I named the "Targ-Andal paradigm", the complex of the blood purity there, and Nettles' position in it that further contextualizes Jace/Rhaenyra's motives, which would make this post longer than I need.
I have said it before HERE, that Rhaenyra didn't--morally and one consideration going out of Westerosi politics and ethics--deserve to rule after Nettles, that she was even actively working against the sociopolitical needs of furthering woman's ability to hold and inherit power in how she treated Nettles, and was, in that case, was self-contradictory, self-defeating, etc., pertaining to anti-misogyny and setting stronger precedents for female leaders while also strengthening the perceived legitimacy of her own rule/authority and rights. In the same post, I say, too, that
In other words, they didn't think it prudent and also didn't know what to do with her, she occupied a pendulous position...until she was finally only perceived as a threat. So, OP is pretty right.
(8/21/23):
THIS is a great post by @mononijikayu about medieval queens, female rulers, the history of how women in leadership positions were made and seen as threats to the very structure of social “order”, and contextualizing Rhaenyra thru Empress Matilda. I didn’t even know about Matilda’s husband being comparable to Rhaneyra’s Daemon! PLZ READ!!!!
Excerpt:
just as much, along with these fictitious portrayals, more lies are depicted. these women are considered vixens that cause havoc to men by shifting them into desires and danger. through the written word, we see how women are cast in roles of villains in men’s lives. it is because by their conclusive thoughts, women are the only creatures that are able to turn ‘good honorable men’ into despicable creatures who do shameful, deplorable acts for the sake of women’s pleasures. [...] itis within this narrative that ancient chroniclers declare that women were in fact the doom of men. if they were not able to control the dangers posed by the wiles of women, then the foundations of the mighty society they had built would be up in flames. [...] as i mentioned, these factors of community are written down and preserved. and with that, the example of the ancients were the foundations by which medieval society built itself. the same concepts continued to cause the same issue within society and that was the exclusion of women from participating in the bigger picture of community and state, much so with governing states in their own right—without judgment or disapproval.

What was supposed to be a two day trip ended up being five.
I had the strangest talks with M.
We had some awkward moments, too.
I don't think he's used to the space I put around me.
I could tell it really threw him off.
I don't think I'm used to it either, to be honest.
We've always been so touchy, it's so natural. I've always been a physical person. I enjoyed it and welcomed it.
It was strange for me when I realized I had something around me now. Something that doesn't permit others to touch me quite so easily anymore, not even my boys.
I noticed it first at E's.
But M and I had never held back so much before. There was no reason, too, we knew what and how much.
And yet here it was, ever present.
I couldn't fully relax until I'd gone back into the room.
I spent hours buried in his sheets, bathing in his perfumes and soaps and smells.
I didn't want to leave. I didn't want to leave you and those four walls.
The last three days M and I talked.
We talked so much.
We're so broken. Something is broken now.
And she didn't, isn't, helping him at all.
I was so mad. She who could offer him such uncondifional comfort without restraint and measure was only making it worse for him.
I was upset for a long time.
Upset that I'd lost my person. Upset that I knew, deep down, that I will never have this again in my life. It's not me being dramatic either.
This was a bond 30 years in the making. This was a person who grew up with me and knew me so well. Took the time to know me. The kind of knowledge that can only come from time and experiences.
Losing that has overwhelmed me. Lately, anything that isn't anger or frustration or despair isn't at the forefront anymore.
My feelings feel so muted. Like they're a sound stuck behind a wall. I know that they're there, I can hear them, but they're so muted and drowned that Im not sure if I can actually feel them anymore.
I'm not sure what I am anymore.
I don't know if I'm upset. I don't know if I'm anything.
But it was blatantly obvious that M wasn't M anymore. I wonder if this is what E meant when he said my energy was different.
It was so plain to see.
It was so clear to my eyes what he hid behind smiles and laughs.
I'm glad I didn't have to pretend around him either.
He called me on my bullshit the moment he laid eyes on me.
I'm glad he said it.
It spared me the trouble of even trying.
And I'm relieved he recognized it for what it was and just took me in without giving me any lectures what so ever. That's more of E's domain, anyway.
I'm glad he said his piece though. It took us getting drunk as fuck to 1) fall asleep on the floor and 2) sleep together.
At least now I know I'll welcome touch while shit faced.
I didn't want him to hold me, but I could tell he needed the contact. He probably needed it more than I do.
And he could cry.
I'm so glad he can still cry.
I wouldn't wish these muted feelings on anyone. I wish I could have cried too.
But that's how we spent the rest of night. Curled in each other. Getting comfort for very different and yet similar reasons.
I don't know if I came back better or not.
I still choke thinking about you.
I'll probably still stay up at night wondering, reminiscing.
Like I am right now.
Que bueno que no estas aqui.
Como nos hubieras chingado...
But we miss you.
We miss you.

Explanations and examples of each type of villain in the options:
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
1 - Terrifying Villain (BM Megatron).
A terrifying villain is the type of villain that makes you shudder for the lives of the characters around him. That villain who can have a motivation to do what he does or none at all, because his greatest strength is his intimidation, fear and hatred that he can cause to the public. Most of the things that can make him terrifying are his actions, his deeds and downright scary mind.
Beast Machines' Megatron is an example of a "Terrifying Villain", because he committed immense acts considered "inhumane" by Cybertronians. For example, not only did he cause total "annihilation" on the entire world of Cybertron, but he stole the "Souls" of every Cybertronian to be consumed and replaced as "faithful slaves" to their dictator. This Megatron was the most successful version of the character, because he not only won the "Beast Wars", but managed to become the great tyrant of Cybertron and oppressed the heroes of the series until the end. He is a villain with a psychopathic mind and doesn't care what he does because he just wants to transform himself into the "Perfect Technological Being" in the Universe and expand his domain to the entire Universe. He's an intimidating villain on screen, it seems like he always has the upper hand against the heroes and always has the greatest forces on his side.
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
2 - Sympathetic Villain (Silco).
The Sympathetic Villain is a villain that the audience can identify with or understand their motivations. He may have a traumatic past that made him what he is, he may have a strong motivation that he believes is right to "Save the World/People", he may have someone he cares about and he shows his love for her to the point of making the audience have feelings for him and the person. He can also be a terrifying villain on-screen at times, killing anyone who stands in his way to fulfill his goals, causing questionable actions and even using extreme methods that even he wouldn't want to use, but he uses to fulfill his mission.
Silco in Arcane is the perfect example, because at the beginning, you see him committing questionable and inhumane actions, such as experimenting on innocent animals, using children to fulfill his plans and even killing those who stand in his way. However, you can later understand why he is like this and does these things, because he wants his people/home to be an independent and united nation. While he and his people live in poverty, hunger, injustice and disease, the "People from Above" live with riches, hot feasts on the table every day, comfortable beds, pure air to breathe and a sun to touch their skin. For these reasons, Silco does what he does, he believes his actions are necessary for the rest of the world to notice them and show them that they should be free from oppression and misery. However, you find out that his brother/best friend has betrayed him, because "Vander" has seen what happens when you go to an extremist side and caused two Young Girls to lose their parents. In the end, Silco survived, but his face was completely destroyed because of the betrayal. However, that's not all, because Silco also treats "Jinx" (Powder) like a daughter to him, because he saw in her something familiar, an abandonment of what Powder considered a sister and a huge betrayal as well. Therefore, he brings her to his side, did his best for her to be happy and even started to have a "change of mind" over time because of Jinx. You understand and fear the character from beginning to end, which is why I chose him here.
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
3 - Hilarious Villain (Doofenshmirtz).
A Hilarious Villain is a type of villain very involved with the comic part of the story. He is a villain that audiences love to see on screen, laugh at his jokes, be amused by his comments and actions that could be considered "hilarious". Most of the time, a hilarious villain can't be taken seriously, you can consider him a "menace" at certain times, but that's not what the character was created for, because he was made to entertain people and get in the way of the hero to show his funny chemistry with the protagonist. A villain like him might have no motive for doing what he does, or he might have a silly motive, because that too can serve as comic relief. Sometimes a hilarious villain can be really unlucky at what he does and that's what makes him fun to watch on screen too, because his failures can entertain audiences too.
Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz is what we can call the "Hilarious Villain", because he is an antagonist that cannot be taken seriously against Perry and his plans always fail to lead to defeat. However, his chemistry against the hero is great, because Doofenshmirtz's personality is immensely funny and amusing at various times. You want a character like him to live on and you love seeing him on screen because his comments and plans are interesting to watch. Of course, I'll admit that I haven't seen "Phineas and Ferb" in years, but I remember very well that he always managed to put a smile on me most of the time. Another interesting thing is Doofenshmirtz's relationship with his daughter, Vanessa. Incredibly, you can even take their relationship to heart, because Doofenshmirtz is a very loving father and cares about his daughter, the same with Vanessa about her father. Even though Doofenshmirtz is a villain who can't be taken seriously, we can still care about the character and his relationship with his daughter. We love Doofenshmirtz for who he is, for his comedic ways, for his good heart and his struggles with Perry.
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
4 - Terrifying/Hilarious Villain (Aku).
This type of villain is probably my favorite because I love villains who manage to be an immense threat to the story, but at the same time also manage to provide comic relief. A villain like that needs to be both dangerous and menacing and terrifying in the eyes of the public, but also have the ability to be funny in his evil moments, or also be funny in moments where he might be alone. He's a villain that makes the audience want him to be stopped, but at the same time, you love seeing him on screen at every turn, because of his nastiness, funny comments and questionable actions.
Aku is this type of villain, because he destroyed Jack's home, enslaved the world and then went to enslave galaxies, his actions are shown and how he transformed the lives of many into enormous misery. For example, Aku trapped a Viking inside a crystal and made that Viking watch the destruction of his kingdom, his family and his people in front of him, not to mention that he trapped that Viking inside a volcano, turning him into a Stone Monster and who could only die through another honorable warrior. Aku also destroys all life in his path, he doesn't care about nature, the lives he ruins in his path or the resources he takes from others, he just wants more control and power. However, incredible as it may seem, Aku is a fun villain to see on screen, not only because of the rivalry he has against Jack, but also when the villain commits various "plots" against the hero and his allies. Aku is still able to make funny comments about his subjects and sometimes manages to make some pretty funny faces. There are moments when Aku is alone in the scenes or next to his servants, these moments are great, because it shows how incompetent his servants are, it shows how intimidating he is to others, not to mention that he has his comedy moments talking to them or about them.
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
5 - What would my choice be?
My friends, of course my choice would be "Terrifying and Hilarious Villain". Because Dormammu, for me, suits this type of villain a lot and I can imagine him having a personality similar to Aku himself. He is a very scary and powerful villain, but the comedy moments he can have with his family (Umar and Clea) have immense potential, not to mention that I would like Dormammu to have a father relationship with Clea. Can you imagine him getting really nervous when he realizes that his niece is falling in love with his archenemy? It would be a mega funny and epic moment too. If you don't agree with my ideas, I understand, but I remember seeing Dormammu's personality in "Defenders 2005" and that personality is one of the best, because he is a funny and intimidating villain, not to mention that his relationship with Umar is hilarious in the comic.
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
That's the end of the poll, my friends, sorry if my English is not good, because I'm Brazilian. Perhaps certain parts of the explanations are not "100% Accurate", but they are supposed to give an "idea" of how these villains really are, sorry for any errors in the explanations. Anyway, have a good day, good afternoon and good night!

Since I've been talking about Eito's jjk verse.... Lemme tell you a bit more about Takeshi's. Because I've got it written that his domain expansion is sort of like a two for one. His is the offensive side, takeo's acts more as a neutralizer to the effects of Takeshi's expansion on himself.
Each time takeshi uses his expansion, it chips away just that little bit more away at his sanity until eventually? He just loses his mind.
But what about that in between period of time? From sane to insane? What does that look like for takeshi? Thanks for asking, friend! I'm here to tell you!
The effects that his expansion has on him at the start aren't noticeable at first. Sure he might seem a bit sillier than normal, might take risks that he normally wouldn't have but that's pretty on brand for takeshi anyway, right? People (including takeshi) would likely just chalk it up to something of a coincidence. Takeshi's always been a bit of a loose canon, not really fighting for a just cause but more or less fighting for what he believes in. If he thought any of the big bads had a point he'd probably side with them no questions asked.
But as time goes on, as Takeshi's forced to use his expansion more and more (and even with Takeo there it doesn't halt the process, just slows it down considerably) little things start popping up. Takeshi starts talking to himself more, stops sleeping, starts having audio/visual hallucinations. He stops eating, and becomes more and more unhinged, chaotic.
It's not as though he's had a perspective shift, he's not suddenly seen the light and started acting differently. This is a gradual shift, a complete change in reality for him and it's scary. While he's still in those moments where he retains some sort of sanity, he's horrified in the things that he's thinking, the things he wants to do - the things that he seems to be experiencing that no one else is.
It's the self awareness that he's losing his mind, the pleading to takeo, to anyone he's close with to put him out of his misery and stop him before things go too far. It's the moment when he's gone past the point of return and he either puts an end to himself, or completely snaps and goes fucking crazy.

Teamwork vs Banehood
If I have to pick one, the other, or both, I will. But I try to tip the balance in favor of neither when I can. Due to having lots of practice being a 'democrat', I default slightly in ilk, set, or subset to tipping the balance in favor of teamwork, but that does not mean that I'll ever make a named team. I've seen the ending of named teams too many times. They appear. They have pride. They remark how the next team can do better. They fall. Such is fate. I blame the name. No. No name for whatever team or teams I start. Every member in a 'team' I start is open to disband any time they want. It makes everything that much easier for me. If I tried to hold everyone to a 'standard', they would miss the point of philosophical endurance entirely. The point of my philosophy entries isn't to craft perfection. Perfection has to come from the self. The point of my philosophy entries is to delay what is sold (currency-wise or otherwise) in its flaw to the person beholden to short of perfect. My 'lessons' will always be fair-use and open to the public. To be completely honest, if I face off against a 'I wouldn't lose to anyone' kind of person, my opinion is I'd lose. However, if the records stayed alive past their mini-anarchy, those records would show that when it came to being direct and to the point, I didn't lose to anyone I didn't choose to lose to. What I'm trying to say is, don't be like fire or water. Be like both by being like neither. Mysterious Voice - "Listen up! I want every coin turned, and every stone left alone for this one. Don't even tell a single grain of sand your quarter. "True training. The purest of putting your projections on the line. Don't gamble, not even to get a feel for odds. Push into punches that are figurative and aimed at you; really make them land, hard! Find an outerversal concept, a new one every decision, and cause it to do whatever version of 'isometrics' is akin to it; and then duplicate that isometric exercise for yourself. Don't ask that outerversal concept for permission if it is outside of permission's domain. Throw your try into the mix. Have faith. If you can't help but get mad, get mad, pretend it is written in a diary, pretend your hidden multiplier went up, go to your happy place, burn away the distraction as the whole combination, take the evidence with you, and destroy that possible rage. Tell the night you're not interested in no longer exploring for the day. Tell it with your dilligence. Find beauty in being understood, and erase conventions that subtract time to do anything in that supertask. Do it every single opportunity! "In other words, if something tells you not to do something, and I mean really, really tells you not to do something, don't. Go out there and make yourself, not your name."

"I can say this about everywhere but Envy an eccentric place, everyone gets along because they don't envy each other. They work together to combat Pride. Its why the Empire can rival Pride, if Pride will look down on them, they'll force them down to their level. If Envy will reach up to them, Pride will push them back down. It never ends and I just let them fight it out. There's ways to be happy no matter ones sin. It just depends on your life style."
But that's saying the obvious. Anyway, its about time they head back huh? Well she guesses it was inevitable. Mundus took longer than intended because she didn't take her usual approach and wanted to let Bee do a bit before Mundus pissed her off anyway.
"That said, I don't lose my cool easily because in my case I've been around since the beginning of time. So unless provoked I stay calm from start to finish. Otherwise you saw how destructive I got, the damage be catastrophic outside of my own domain but that's just how I am. Moment I'm actually angry I will fight anyone and I will stop playing nice."
Though speaking of Vainglory that reminds her of something. So right before she takes her and Bee back, she creates a portal and compared to the display against Mundus the spear she made was a perfect balance of demonic and angelic which she tossed into the portal. Give her friend a little helping hand before going back to her travels.
"Vainglory huh? While the person in question wouldn't admit it, me and my friend do deal with someone who'd fit. The son of one gods from the neighboring world, but that's a matter strictly for us to deal with since someone left him in the mortal plain because she'd get in trouble. Anyway, we're heading back now."
With a snap of her fingers the scenery of the first layer vanished and they were right back in Sat's throne room. The portal being gone since it was only really there to get in touch with Lucy in the first place.
"And right back where we left from."
"I can understand people wanting tah live in a land o' Pride but I can't particularly imagine folks being happy to live in Envy. If anything, the Envy District back home is much more about combatting their envy than giving in to it. Makes it much different than the other districts. Well, maybe combative is not quite the word. Leviathan more runs it as a place to harness the people's drive to better themselves and become greater. I guess, in that way, it ain't too far gone from what all of us are doin' back in the rest of the city. Between you n' me though? I think Levi's the happiest of us all of us."
Suddenly Bee zipped off. They flew around the sea of chef and cooking, stopping to give compliment and pay respect to each of the folks that cooked her meal. They were not quite certain of the currency of this world, so Bee just slammed down a few golden obols. On it was a depiction of a horrific ram headed monster with rows and rows of unending teeth. It was one of Bee's forms but not a particularly common one. Shortly afterward Bee returned but not before grabbing a bowl of Lemon Soup.
"I have to admit though Lucy, that while I expect you are honest on your nature you're far removed from the folks I know for those sins. Pride and Wrath. Sats may have calmed down now but for millennia both spent all their time fighting with someone or another. Lucy, oh no you Lucy, but Pride Lucy, she still spends all her time in conflict with Bap the Vainglorious. Sure you like to fight but, outside of one moment with Mister Mundus, you didn't ever seem to lose your cool. Maybe the nature of sin is just strange here."
A nonchalant shrug of their shoulder. Bee was interested in exploring the Relaxing Fields. They were curious if it was such a place of beauty and innovation as it was in the Sloth District that they knew. Sadly, they decided it would have to be for another time. The pair had disappeared before Sat's throne and left a portal sitting there. They would have to return soon to avoid worrying her.
"How's about we take a trip back to my home and I show you what I mean. I'm surely Lucy would be absolutely thrilled to meet someone of another world with so much power that shares a name with her."

All the Time in the World
Prompt by @promptspa goes until where my banner starts! Thanks for the great prompt :)
"What do you want this time, Supervillain?" Deity sighs, swirling the wine around in their glass with gentle movements of their wrist. They were draped elegantly over the white marble of their throne, robes flowing around them.
"Am I not able to worship you anymore, my dearest god(dess)?" The master criminal replies, their serpentine gaze trailing over the ethereal being in front of them. They suppressed a shiver at the sudden burst of power from Deity's direction as they spoke, reminding them of just how easily they could crush Supervillain like a bug under their heel.
"The last time you made that excuse to see me," The pause between Deity's words made them ring even more threatening in Supervillain's ears as they stood, taking their time to reach the bottom of the marble steps. "You had stolen from me."
"I care not for the gold and the amulet and the priceless magic relics that you thought you had smuggled flawlessly," The deity continued, their power increasing tenfold as they took Supervillain by the chin, pulling them forward. "But my heart? That is something no mortal should have."
"Then perhaps you should make me immortal."
Deity blinked at Supervillain's words, slowly scanning the scalding heat within their eyes. The flame they had wished to distinguish so many years ago remained, burning bright with challenge more than ever.
They scoffed, dropping Supervillain's chin from their hand and instead turning with a flourish to stalk up back to their pedastal.
"Convince me. Tell me why I should give such a prideful, dangerous and selfish being the chance to die over and over again without consequence."
"Because you love me, that's why. You would hate to see the moment I finally meet my end... Wouldn't you?"
Villain followed Deity up the marble stairs, leisurely, as if he weren't treading on sacred ground. On her domain.
Deity rounded on him when they reached the top, their faces mere inches from eachother.
Villain grinned at her, awaiting her answer with hands clasped behind his back, a mockery of politeness.
Deity's gaze flicked over him. "If I let you die, it would be what you deserve."
"You'd be willing to lose me forever just to punish me for stealing your heart?" Villain clicked his tongue, reaching out, brazen, to trace a finger against the shimmering skin of her collarbone. "That sounds more like a punishment against yourself."
Deity's eyes sparked gold, the air in the temple swelling thick with power. She watched Villain's breath hitch. "You are too bold."
Villain stepped closer yet, though the effort it took to oppose the barest fraction of Deity's power felt like wading through mud.
She could obliterate him in a single breath.
He plucked the wine glass from her fingers and brought it to his lips, taking a sip of the dazzlingly heady drink before tossing it aside with the crackle of broken glass. "That is why you love me so, my goddess."
He reached out and tapped, idly, at the dagger glittering in its sheath at the deity's waist.
Deity's head tilted. Something similar to a curious bird taking idle interest in an ant.
That was how it had started, anyway. Amusement, curiosity, that led her to let the thief live the first time and the next. The other mortals showered her altar with fruit and gifts before skittering away. The first time Villain entered her temple, he strode up to the goddess where she sat upon her throne. He kissed her fingers and knelt at her feet.
"You want me to grant you favor, that is the only reason you call upon me day by day."
"Isn't that all anyone does when they pray?" Villain replied.
Deity's calm cracked, fingers seizing Villain's jaw again. Her power hummed against his bones, the pressure threatening to crush him. The room lit up gold, glowing tendrils surrounding the goddess and her thief.
Deity's eyes narrowed, predatory and far from human. "You are not just 'anyone'."
"Oh, baby," Villain smiled and leaned in, lips brushing the perfect sculpt of her cheeks. Daring. Reckless. "You think I'm special?"
Deity's eyes flashed, filled with too many things. Burning with the power of constellations and the universe and all that ever was. "I think you are an arrogant, inconsequential human. You are dust, and to dust you will fall. You are as fleeting as a summer breeze."
Villain smiled, sharp and sweet. "Yet you love me."
"Yes."
"Is that not reason enough to allow me a taste of your blood?"
Blood from a deity was a powerful thing. A single drop, enough to heal and mend and bestow eternal life upon any who dared to taste it.
"No," Deity said softly, and felt her heart break. The earth rumbled with the tectonic shift of it.
Villain's expression turned more serious. He took a gentle hold of his deity's chin, then, so that they were holding each other's faces. His thumb grazed her lips. "And if I were to say that I love you back?"
She pulled away from him to sit back on her throne. Made for her and of her, it complimented her in every way, as the rest of the temple did. She was the sun and the moon; the crest of a wave and the embers of a waning fire. Everything all at once. None of it overflowing. She held it all with a grace unmatched. Beautiful in a way that was more striking than the conventional intent of the word.
Her eyes, bearing the universe, locked onto his.
"I am the soul of the cosmos and I hold everything that ever was. Of course you love me, in the way that every faithful servant does."
Villain leaned in, bracing his hands on the throne's armrests to either side of her. He tutted as if gently correcting an animal rather than facing a goddess. "We both know I treasure you more deeply than that, my goddess."
Deity watched him, gaze tracing his features so intently he felt it was carved into his bones; engraved into the very core of him.
It was clear who he belonged to. And who with.
Her resolve shifted.
"You wish to spend an everlasting life with me?" Deity asked, musing.
Villain grinned. "We shall watch the death of time together, my goddess."
She stood back up, pulling her dagger from its sheath. Villain had to squint against the brilliance of it. Forged in dragon fire and blessed by the deities, it was the only weapon capable of piercing a divinity's flesh. She leaned closer in a mockery of Villain's posture, gazing down at him. "Prove it," she whispered against his ear. "Stay."
She held the point of the blade against the pad of her finger.
Villain's hand rose to rest on hers, straightening. "Allow me," he murmured.
Deity let him take the dagger from her grasp. Her one weakness, in the grip of a moral.
He held the tip against the soft tissue of her lip as their eyes locked. With gentle precision, he pricked the skin, a bead of blood welling on the plush surface.
Villain cast the blade aside with a clatter, as if it were nothing, and pulled Deity closer with a palm at her back.
He kissed her lips, slow and deliberate. A final offering, not at the alter, but against the glowing heart of her.
The blood on his tongue was intoxicatingly sweet with the sugar-rot of an endless summer.
When he pulled away, his eyes shone gold. The air about him stirred in a swirl of gleaming dust.
That time, it was Deity's breath that caught.
Villain smiled, reflecting the glow of a morning sunrise; the celestial glint of the moon on a window pane.
Deity turned with the villain--her immortal--and pushed him down onto her throne, moving onto his lap. Her skirts pooled against the marble. She leaned in to claim another searing kiss.
They'd watch the stars burn out together.
They had all of the time in the world.

Strong Sorcerers
Request: "Halo! Are your event still opened? If it is, can i get prompt 8, 18, 27, angst for Gojo? Im in the mood for angst fic."
8. "Say something, please"
18. "I've lost so many before, I'm not about to lose you too"
27. "Hey, look at me. Keep your eyes open"
↠ Pairing: Gojou Satoru x Reader
↠ Warning: angst, tw: blood, death, mentions of Gojo's arc
↬ Word Count: 2.1k
↠ a/n: i had to be sad and cry just to write this one. And the atmosphere was quiet which sets the mood so yeah, I'm still sobbing ;-;
↳ from Go! Go! Gogatsu Event
Above all he was. Who would've thought after the ruins of his high school year would turn him into someone who only acknowledges those who were up against his might. Where was the babbling idiot who'd always enter enter your room unannounced just to share even the stupidest topic or his sweets with you? Who was this man that stood in front of you, the harmless teasing spat venom towards your existence.
"Honestly, I thought you would've grown a bit of a pair, (y/n)."
You couldn't speak, not when he's always first to beat you to it. There was no telling apart whether he was scoffing out as a joke. Or he really thought that this was a waste of his time to improve his own skills.
"You're still as weak as before. That's ashamed."
Ever since Riko. Ever since Geto.
Gojo Satoru was no longer the man he was before. You've prayed he's grown into a fine teacher, a role model for the new generation. He was undoubtedly still hilarious, but what was it that made his perspective of you change so drastically over the years? Weren't you his favorite he said? The very day you two were sparing. He even acknowledged the little things you do. What was any difference when you still treated him with the same kindness and admiration as before? After all, He and Shoko were the only remains of your small family.
"Seriously, you need to keep your head up and be more wary of things. Do you want to die fast?" he said during your faceoff with a special graded curse. To your relief, Gojo had appeared just in time to clean up the mess. You weren't technically a bad sorcerer, heck Mei Mei wouldn't go a day of complimenting you whenever she meets up with you. If anything, your level was just beneath Geto's. Anyone would say it would be a waste of talent if you hadn't pursue it, but it wasn't that you wasted such precious gift.
It was because it meant causing your life.
A foreign technique that was not mastered for decades nor by any of the powerful clans. It was a double edged sword; your domain. No matter how gifted you were, there always came a dreadful price. Geto, Shoko and Gojo were the only people who knew of this. Even told you right from the bat to never use it just for the sake of defeating a curse. It was a selfish desire, but they'd rather deal with the mess than lose a precious friend.
That was before.
"Sometimes you really just have to go all out if you want to prove you're strong. Depending on me and other's is a hindrance, (Y/n). What if one of us died? You don't want that to pull you down for the rest of your life now, would you?"
"I wasn't depending on anyone! I did fine by myself, Satoru!" you argued once the last bit of curse was gone. The mission that the first years were assigned to was yet again another sabotage by the higher ups in other to annihilate the vessel. "I-I was doing fine! I swear!" you wailed after hearing him scoff. It was getting frustrating to see the man you used to love look at you with such unknown emotion never shown to anyone but you.
As if he despises you the most.
"You didn't do shit, (Y/n). Did you even feel yourself get tired? Have you even used maximum parts of your powers? You would've handled it if you finished it all from the first place!"
He misses the way your expression broke into the one thing he promised he'd never cause; Hurt. Pain written all over as your eyes started to get teary when he began walking away from the scene.
"What changed, Satoru? What did I ever do you to become such a fucking jackass all of a sudden?!" you needed to know. You were tired of being beaten and pierced by needles as if you were some rag doll by him. The one thing you wanted back was the old Satoru. Where he looked at you not only as his equal, but someone he cares about. The one you knew in love.
Without missing a heartbeat, no hesitation laced upon his words, he spoke,
"You're just not strong enough to look after yourself. It's honestly dragging every one down." and your heart broke into two as he resumes walking away, "It's time to grow up. We can't always stay forever where you think it's safe."
Those were the final moments you've had longer with Gojo. It would've been pleasant if you two went out like always. Maybe even eat out to that kikufuku shop in Sendai he promised before. He always did love sharing his meals, never fond of eating on his own. Maybe if you did grow a pair and ask him out, he wouldn't be such a jerk to you, right? Maybe then he would've been a little nicer as he usually was.
Maybe you wouldn't have to spend your last moments laying down on a bloodied, concrete floor alone.
So many maybe's you wished you could've done and known.
It was an unexpected turn of events sadly. You had thought you were facing only a 2nd grade curse, but it turned out to be a set up. Some random blue haired guy with stitches all over his body along with a smaller curse that possesses the ability of volcanic heat and destruction came after you. You wanted to make a run for it after analyzing the enemies techniques. It was far beyond your range to even exorcist them. You needed to report back, knowing this could be more than trouble.
"You're just not strong enough to look after yourself. It's honestly dragging every one down."
You think to yourself that he was right. The millions of voices at the back of your head screaming no on what you're about to attempt. From that moment you prayed once more, surprising both curses when they see the smile that held gratitude and tears streaming down, "Watch me, Gojo."
I can be strong.
On that designated area, strong sorcerers and veterans besides Gojo felt that massive wave being released. Enough to send him to overdrive because of the unusual sense of power released by you.
He didn't want to think of the worse case possible as he was now carrying your limping, shattered body in his arms.
"Hey, look at me. Keep your eyes open."
He couldn't teleport back. Your body was junked up badly, it would become more fatal if he teleported someone with him, to which he's never tried to avoid unnecessary circumstances. But he couldn't keep his breathing calm as he's doing his best to be quick and careful to being you back to Shoko's in time.
You noticed how his blindfold was off when he arrived. That may be the possible reason he's found you, he may have even scanned the area in search of the two curses who sadly escaped your domain, but indeed at death's door now because of the never foreseen power.
"G-gojo."
"Shut up and save your breath." his legs shakes a bit when he feels your finger trace below his chin. He was here again to pick you up as always. But this time, there were no mean remarks exchanged. "You're a fucking idiot. I told you to never use that!" his hold around you tightens when he sees the building Shoko was in.
"I w-wanted to be strong..for you." you kept your eyes locked to his face. The slightest bite on his lips meant he was in trouble. The wavering of his eyes meant that they were on the verge of crying. Your heart clenched at the thought of Gojo being hurt once again, he's been through so much.
"You are strong! I didn't mean you have to show me to that extent, stupid! You're never weak to begin with for fucks sake."
"But you said—"
"Fucking hell (Y/n) I only wanted you to be safe. I didn't want to lose you. No more.."
At Shoko's doorstep, she immediately let's him in. Even she couldn't contain her emotions when she saw your state. These injuries were fatal, she's couldn't.
"Shoko, do something please." he hugs your body closer, without a care of the blood smearing through his skin and clothes.
"Satoru, you know these aren't—"
"Please, just do what you can."
Gojo chokes a sob for when you visibly nuzzle yourself comfortably in his embrace, "I've lost so many before, I'm not about to lose you too" he cries, settling you down on the bed in preparations with Shoko beside you. You can no longer feel her hands worked their way through your limbs and torso as your senses had became numb. You can only look at them in through mixed tears and blood before mustering up last bits of your strength to wipe away Gojo's, "Did you know, I loved you, Satoru?"
He sniffles but nods. Shoko just chuckling bitterly at the fact you chose this timing to spill your feelings, "Of course I did. Every one did, you idiot." whilst holding your hand, "I really thought you hated me, y'know." smiling sadly to Shoko, she understood the downfall of your friendship with the guy, "I only wanted you to know I was strong..that I can be like you guys."
"I never hated you. God.." heaving out a sob, Gojo presses his the tip of his nose to yours, glossy lips close to your bloody one, "Please— just, (Y/n), you know I never meant every thing I said." time seemed to stopped the same second Shoko's hands disappeared from attending your body. No longer finding any hope of improvement as you start to breathe slowly.
"I didn't mean it. I promise. I'm sorry. Just please, don't leave me too." he should've turned back when he had the chance that very day. To wipe away the tears that streamed down on your face and tell you all the things he wishes you could've heard earlier. If he hadn't let his own self dwell on the strings of his past, he would've become the monster he was today, initiating a horrible attempt to push you away to safety, but only closer to death.
You weren't the one who was weak. It was him from the beginning.
"I love you, too. I have even before I knew you did too." he cups your cheeks before giving you a kiss on the lips. Your heart was relieved; he didn't hate you. You were strong in his eyes still. And he loved you.
Someone please, protect your friends. Keep Gojo in company, you thought. The kids to live longer and away from the curses and wickedness of people. You wish you could've known all of this to cherish the slightest bit if happiness that was now within your reach. How cruel faith has played with you, gifted one.
Thank you, Satoru.
"(Y/n)?"
Swollen eyes with fresh tears at its awakening, he gathers up the courage. Even though he can hear Shoko's sobs behind her hands, even when his six eyes no longer detect any source of light in you, he looks back to your lovely features. Thumb tugging the corner of your lips as if he was trying to bring back the smile he's ruined and shun away.
"Say something, please."
That very day was a huge loss for both remaining teammates. What could've been now, all turns into ashes. He couldn't let go of you still no matter who pried him off of you. At least for a moment, he wanted to hold you longer than he should've.
However, for someone, it was one step closer to their plan. Watching the two curses groan in pain, the wounds inflicted on them was going to take longer recovery than expected.
"It was good that Hanami was able to retrieve you both."
Light chuckling can be heard from the source watching the two males in distress.
"You were not wrong about that sorcerer. Such a shame another strong one had to bite the dust." Hanami speaks whilst leaning against the wall, half of his body cut off from when your domain was inflicted.
"I know, funny how the soul in this one seems to be quite angry of me." he points at the arm that was choking him by the neck, baffling Mahito before going back to soothe the excruciating pain.

I love that quick little moment in 7x01 when Weiss is all "there has to be something wrong okay Winter wouldn't be A Part Of All Of This there must be a reasonable explanation for her doing Canned Propaganda Over Viewscreen" and you just see Blake behind her share a quick little sad look with Qrow over Weiss's shoulder like "oh god how are we supposed to explain to her that her sister is like, 83 different levels of complicit, I thought she already knew that"
Weiss learning about things like “complicity,” and “microaggressions,” and “fragility” and then IMMEDIATELY having to rush home to have a drawn out Thanksgiving dinner with her entire family, only Thanksgiving dinner is the apocalypse, is like *chef’s kiss*
seriously though: for all that i’m invested in Winter having a drawn out tortuous arc for Winter herself, i’m just as invested in Winter’s progression/regression as a character being a MAJOR challenge for not just Weiss but the RWBY team dynamic as a whole. because like. it’s all well and good to apologize to your best friend for calling her a bunch of slurs and insinuating that her people made your dad abuse you, it’s cool and powerful to kick a guy into the dumpster and arrest your abusive dad, it’s nice to look sorrowfully at a place where many many people died because of your family and think “someday i’m gonna change all this” (how tho?? i guess that’s the domain of post-canon fic), but so far Weiss' path to becoming a more tolerable person hasn’t really come at any cost other than the fact that i guess she is now technically A Poor? which in the context of this show is mainly cosmetic (or not even that--WHERE DID YOU FIND THE MONEY TO BUY ALL THOSE BELTS, WEISS)
if they REALLY want to bring the affective hammer down and make Weiss realize that there are actual COSTS to becoming a good person, even beyond losing some of your excess privilege, then Winter is the best place to go, and the detente between the two has to turn into real confrontation(s). because there’s no way Weiss can be rational about Winter; even now, having not uttered Winter’s name for half a season, she is still giving Winter far more credit than she deserves. from that irrationality can come a WEALTH of bad judgement calls and story opportunities that can put Weiss’ genuine desire to do good at odds with her (just as strong and genuine) desire to protect the people she loves, to protect the one person she’s loved longer than anyone else.
and it can very easily put her at odds with her found family in some dark reprisal of the scene where they all band up and face off against Jacques. at what point does Winter become a material problem that the whole team has to suss out the way that Raven was, the way that Adam was? at what point does Blake (or Yang! since she already called Winter a bootlicker) have to pull Weiss aside and say “hey, your sister is a fascist and/or villain and i think you’re too close to this to realize?” would Weiss respond to that gracefully, or would she lash out? because Blake is less biased, but not unbiased, and it’d be pretty easy for Weiss to accuse her of being excessively unfair because Blake’s own personal history is making her jump to conclusions. the lines between Winter as a person and Winter as a socio-political figure can get really blurred, really fast, and...it could get ugly, even if it’s all coming from a place of love. even if everyone is on Team Weiss, Weiss’ definition of Team Weiss has ALWAYS included Winter, and--you said there aren’t any sides. you said
#alexkablob#rwby#weiss schnee#winter schnee#the way winter's fingerprints are ALL OVER weiss' person is just#god remember the final confrontation with ironwood in gravity when weiss IMMEDIATELY took point with him#because winter wasn't there to do it! because she thinks that's what winter would do!!#winter being the messy middle between an adam and an ilia between a raven and a vernal#winter forcing the team to re-evaluate the limits of who is worth saving and how these decisions are always flawed and subjective#that's all i want! make winter worse before you make her better#helen writes meta

It started as a slight pang of a headache when Jon Knew he didn't have a middle name. It was small enough to ignore, certainly. Though, Martin was sure it happened again when Jon could tell he was jealous of Oliver (It wasn't. That was just him being upset, he was sure of that now).
Jon was usually so careful not to actively Know things about him but every so often it slipped through. He thought the headaches were just due to the horrible things they saw and heard as they kept making their way further in towards the panopticon. Hell, anyone would start to feel pretty bad when listening to a constant stream of groaning, screaming, and pleading as they made their way through all of the domains. Right? That's what he thought anyways.
Then for the first time in ages, once they reached Salesa's hide out, it all went away. He didn't feel any of it, not the fear, not the Lonely, or the Eye's gaze bearing down on them. And, he didn't feel the headaches anymore either. He could finally, *fully* relax. But, all good things came to an end, of course. They couldn't ignore their quest to save the world forever, now could they?
It felt like as soon as they left he felt it again, stronger than before... and it got worse when Jon had used his powers to Know where he was after losing him in that *damned* mansion. His whole time inside felt like a fog, one he was forcefully dragged out of by the tearing feeling he felt in his chest, like something was pulling at his heart and at the time he thought he was just getting emotional again, clutching the tape recorder and screaming about how he wasnt lonely anymore. He thought it had been that place, trying to take him away... but it only lightened up when Jon found him, the second the other laid eyes on him the pain vanished, and Martin sobbed with relief. It wasn't because Jon had found him, but because that horrible dread that something was looking for him and that feeling of being ripped towards whatever it was, was gone.
He didn't tell him the real reason he was crying.
The last time he felt relief of that pain was when he spoke to himself in his domain. Jon was too busy and even if he wanted to, Jon couldn't have followed. There was that briefest thought that, maybe he should stay. He didn't *want* to go back out there, he almost thought it was The Eye itself, looking at him that made him feel like this. It was safer here for him here... that wouldn't work though, would it. Someone had to stop Jon from getting himself killed, or worse.
The last time he truly noticed that pain, and the only time he was finally certain of its cause, was when Jon found him with Annabelle. He knew Jon would come looking for him, but he didn't realize how much it would hurt. The closer Jon got, the stronger the pain felt, like he was growing closer and closer to that point where he would get ripped apart and every piece of him would be *seen*... every part would be Known.
When he saw Jon again, he knew he could never tell him. He wasn't even sure Jon could control it anymore, Knowing things like that. But if Jon ever knew what he was doing, Martin wasn't sure Jon could ever convince himself he was human enough ever again. He wasn't going to be the one to take that away from him.
Not until the very end.
