blank narcissus was incredible gay erotica/lamentations on past relationships & old age. sexy and beautiful and haunting and sad. felt like i was watching something genuinely interesting and fresh. which is the exact Opposite of how shiva baby felt, incredibly overrated; boring, did absolutely nothing new technically/narratively/etc. and the character motivations were too skeletal for me to find anything to chew on.
