I think learning (and translating) the lyrics to La Marseillaise in French class and discovering via very graphic Google images what exactly égorger means has changed me

okay I DEFINITELY want to see you rank your favorite BAU characters
oh boy oh boy oh boy i’m TOAST--
1.) Emily Prentiss: This woman was my gay awakening and I’m still madly in love with her. All of my original works when I was in middle school featured a character who was basically Emily Prentiss under a different name, and she still is easily in my second favorite fictional character of all time.
2.) Spencer Reid: Spencer was the first character I ever saw on screen who loved learning as much as I did and made me realize there’s no shame in being intelligent or in craving knowledge. I’ve been compared to Spencer since my family first started watching the show when I was a kid, and we share a name, so that’s that.
3.) Aaron Hotchner: I projected all of my insecurities onto Hotch when I was a kid. When I watched his relationship with Haley fall apart on screen, I felt that in my very bones. I cried with him upon her death and raised Jack with him and even though I was long out of the fandom when TG was fired, I was still devastated to hear that he was being forced to leave. His ship with Reid was the first gay ship I ever connected to, and together, they were the first characters to ever teach me that people are gay and it’s okay. The one thing I do dislike about Hotch is how he’s implied to be wickedly intelligent, but it never gets, like, followed through with? The implication that he graduated law school at nineteen or twenty asserts that this man graduated high school when he was sixteen or younger, that he sped through undergrad and was able to get accepted into one of the most prestigious law schools in the country and graduated early and was an incredibly successful lawyer and prosecutor. He worked personal security, SWAT, he did a stent in Seattle, before he became leader of the BAU at twenty-seven years old. Hotch is, in all likelihood, a child prodigy of his own right, and it never gets mentioned because Spencer’s academic accomplishments are more impressive (and I could take this space to do a whole character study on why I think Hotch stopped his pursuit of academia, but I won’t waste my own time, lol).
4.) Elle Greenaway/Alex Blake: I love both of these ladies so I had to include them. Elle was done dirty by the canon and I adored her work in season one and the unique sensitivity she brought to the field when the BAU was still, as one unsub described it, “a boy’s club.” Alex took a little longer to grow on me (mostly because I was super bitter about Emily being gone that I didn’t want to like her), but the relationship she nurtured with Spencer was like no other, and her submitting her resignation to him instead of her direct superior gets me in the feels every time I watch it.
5.) Erin Strauss: Strauss is another character done wrong by the canon, and I’m so furious and bitter for her still. I loved watching her grow from a stern politician into someone who genuinely cared about the BAU as part of her family and would do anything to protect them. It was true character development that she went from trying to come for Hotch’s job in season two to deliberately fabricating paperwork to try to catch the Replicator in season eight, the latter which she did without informing anyone because she knew it could put them in danger. Watching her grow close to the team, watching Alex forgive her for her transgressions and become bonded with Rossi and Hotch, I really thought we were going to have an awesome thing going in later seasons, and I was devastated when I saw that it was all poorly written build up just so the writers could snatch the rug out from under us when they killed her off. She gave her life to protect the BAU and I’m going to work to redeem her character in my pieces. (This is an Erin Strauss AND Haley Hotchner defense blog, leave my ladies alone.)
6.) Dave Rossi: I sometimes take issue with Rossi’s character because he can be so damn arrogant and in early seasons seems to think he’s God’s gift to profiling, but I’m so fond of him for his nurturing relationship with the other characters. He doesn’t believe himself to have any family (of course we find out later he has a daughter, but besides that) so he takes it upon himself to make himself the father of the team. We see this dynamic with Emily and Spencer the most, with Morgan to some degree, with Ashley Seaver a lot (one of the only things I loved about Seaver’s presence in S6), and even with Jack’s little league team. Rossi who will do anything and everything for his team because those are his kids, dammit.
7.) Penelope Garcia: Penelope is my little ray of sunshine! I love sweet and special headcanons about her and how she keeps up with the team and brings joy to their lives. We share a love for cats, and her origin story always makes me chuckle, especially the opening scene where she says, “I am a psychopath,” and Hotch says, “No, you’re not.” Her relationship with Morgan brings me joy, though I’m still frustrated with the canon for not following through on that and making it “just talk.” I also disliked how canon handled her relationship with Kevin. I love Penelope as a character, but there were some moments that I thought were not written very well for her which is why she isn’t higher up on the list.
8.) Jason Gideon: I know it’s popular to drag Gideon in this fandom, but I like him a lot, and I think his downfall played into the team very well in the end when it led to Rossi’s joining the team. He had some of my favorite moments, especially when he chose to save the school children rather than apprehend Frank (I like to imagine what the other characters would have done in his shoes if Frank had fixated on them instead) and when he saved Billie Copeland while everyone else was prepared to throw in the towel. I like his dynamic with the team and how they (other than Spencer) lose faith in him from the pilot and then gain it back slowly. I enjoy how he interacts with Spencer and teaches him things on screen. I do take issue with his allowing Spencer to view him as a father figure when he knows that that is what Spencer desperately needs and I think Gideon, as compassionate as he is, can be unintentionally manipulative and quite harmful. Still, I think he’s a very intriguing character and I regret we didn’t get more of him.
9.) JJ: It’s not that I dislike JJ actively (though if you had asked me ten years ago, I probably would’ve said I did). I find JJ’s character incredibly difficult to relate to because, much like I mentioned with Penelope above, she is a victim of bad writing. Unlike Penelope, JJ’s bad writing is damn near ubiquitous from the time Henry is born until the end of the show. She can’t be in a scene with a victim or a family member without bringing up her family, and every time she shows her actual personality, it gets followed up with, “I’m also a mom!” I don’t relate to women whose entire lives revolve around their children, so finding any common ground with me and JJ is extraordinarily difficult. More than that, I abhor her relationship with Will and how Will was allowed to treat her so incredibly poorly and not only does the fandom worship him and never call him out--the writers acted like JJ was in the wrong. It drives me absolutely insane that Will and Haley treated their partners in the exact same way, their character arcs line up almost perfectly, but Will winds up happily married to JJ with two kids and Haley gets to bleed out on the floor of her own home while her husband clutches her dead body and weeps. This storyline is just part of the misogyny in the Criminal Minds canon, and though I like JJ, I have a hard time seeing past all of it to form a good bond with her. Fanon JJ > Canon JJ.
10.) Derek Morgan: Derek is a character who I think had a lot of wasted potential. He’s the expert on obsessional crimes--never mentioned again. He’s the expert on explosives--mentioned two or three times. Chicago PD? We never get any information as to how he went from PD to FBI. Derek is such a wildly intelligent man, we know that, but much like Hotch, his intelligent gets forgotten in exchange for Spencer to exposit at random, except his is even more pronounced than Hotch’s. After the first few seasons, the writers just treated him like the brawn of the BAU with no other expertise or presence, and I hate that for him--it was such a criminal injustice against his character. Unlike JJ, I do love Derek (my feelings for JJ are generally neutral leaning toward positive--I adore Derek Morgan) but the writers did him so dirty. I don’t like his relationship with Savannah at all. As a CSA survivor, his whole CSA storyline generally bugs the hell out of me because it only gets mentioned when the writers want to go boohoo Derek has trust issues or have an excuse to say “hurrdurr buff guy hates pedophiles” and he’s never shown having any meaningful struggle with his trauma (can be said of most of the trauma in the show) or having any character development (he’s often criticized for not trusting the team as much as he should but he never grows from it). Derek is a character I’m very protective of, but as much as I love his relationships with Spencer, Penelope, and Emily, I just can’t defend the ways the writers let him down so grievously.

She's Got A Date-EoWells X Allen!reader- Part I
Tumblr media
*The GIF is not mine. All rights belongs to the owner*
Summary: You decided to cook for your secret boyfriend, but things did not go accordingly.
Warnings: Smut. Oral (fem!receiving)
***
Just a month ago, your brother woke up from a 9-month coma he was in. Everything has changed since December. The city mourned it's losses. Joe became more heavily into work, Iris is dating behind his back with Eddie. You graduated from school, you became an employee at S.T.A.R Labs despite of it's downfall. And you were also dating someone behind their backs.
5 more minutes before you're done for the day, you find yourself in the cortex, head laid back on the leather chair, spinning it while you stare at the ceiling. The boredom is not what's bothering you, it's the sweet torture of waiting. You've been excited since the day started, you managed to get through the whole day and a few more minutes is killing you.
Cisco entered the room, holding a tablet in his hand. He took a seat beside you and typed something on the computer.
"You okay, Y/N?" He asked.
"Yeah, just can't wait for this day to over,"
His head slowly turning his head to you, craning it to the side with narrowed eyes at you. "Miss Y/N Allen hurrying out of work? That's suspicious. You got a date?"
Your eyes went wide and jolted upright in your seat. "No!" You blurted loudly.
A perplexed look crossed his face, slightly taken a back with your reaction, as he was only teasing, but you actually thought he was onto you.
You blinked, the blood drained from your cheeks upon the realization of what you've done. You have to throw him off guard or else he'd be actually onto you, and all of the ridiculous excuses you've made will be all gone to waste. And he will kill you for actually spilling the beans without his consent.
You fiddled with the edge of the white sweater that Barry got for your graduation that he missed, as you rack your brain for a decent excuse. You stared at him for far too long, it was just seconds really, but you panicked and went along with whatever comes out of your mouth.
"I mean, I don't have a date, I'm not going out tonight or meet someone, or have dinner with anyone— I don't have a date!" You snapped.
"Okay, chill." He raised his hands up. "I was only teasing,"
You laughed nervously. "Cool,"
He turned back to whatever was he doing on the computer, still wholly confused on whatever was going on with you. You didn't say anything; you didn't trust yourself and your mouth. You checked your watch for time, and your shift officially ended. You picked your shoulder bag from the floor and slung it over your shoulder.
"Hey, I gotta go, Cisco. Bye, good night!" You jumped out of your seat, and picked up the messenger bag you have, slinging it over your shoulder.
"Good night." He watched you as hurriedly left the cortex, he can even hear you running down the hallway . He shakes his head and chuckles to himself; you were very obvious.
Just as you left, Dr. Wells wheeled into the cortex.
"Y/N already left, Cisco?" He asked.
Cisco nodded. "Yup. She got a date,"
You decided that you will cook tonight. You and your love haven't had a decent date night ever since Barry woke up from the coma with a newfound speed. And you never really went out for dinner like normal couples do. So if you can't go to a restaurant, you'll bring the restaurant to you.
Compared to Iris' cooking, you're basically a master chef, but compared to normal people's cooking, you weren't actually that good. But you decided that you will cook for dinner anyway. What's a little steak compared to a mechanical engineer who works for a team that kicks meta-humans' butts? If things go awry, pizza's the back-up plan.
With a steak that's overcooked, the potatoes and the salad barely even done, and you have spent an hour trying to make things go accordingly and you were on the verge of a mental breakdown, but on the bright side, the soufflé are done. Maybe you should've ordered pizza. It's not too late, he isn't here yet.
Abruptly, there was a knock coming from your door.
"No, no, no," you whispered, hurrying out of the kitchen to head for the door.
You opened the door, wishing that it wasn't him, only to be disappointed once you laid your eyes on him. He had a small smile on his face, looking at yourself. He did really take the whole dinner thing seriously, because you're cooking. In a fancy suit, he ditched the tie, and the two buttons were undone. He held a bottle of wine on his lap.
Your boyfriend, Dr. Harrison Wells.
"Hello,"
"Hey babe," you leaned down and gave him a peck on the lips, before stepping aside to let him in your small apartment.
You took the wine and placed it on your coffee table, slightly anxious as you stood behind him.
"You're early,"
He merely shrugged. "What's for dinner?" He asked, heading straight to the kitchen, eyeing everything on the counter.
Your face scrunched up, pressing your lips together, following behind him. "About that..." You watched, as his confusion settled on his face, his head tilted to the side, when he saw the food.
Your cheeks were warm in embarrassment, mentally cursing yourself for ruining everything.
"I may have slightly overcooked it. And I haven't cooked the sides," you explained, scratching your head.
You expected a reaction from him, dreaded it, actually, but he glanced up to you with this stoic, blank expression on his face. You can't read it; you don't know what's on his mind, is he disappointed? You have no idea, and it's infuriating, honestly.
Your shoulder slumped with a weary sigh and frowned, "Look, I'm sorry. I really tried, but I don't know what happened," you spoke softly. You still got no reaction from him, he only watched you intently, so you took it as a sign to continue, "I really want this to go perfectly, and it just... I'm sorry I disappointed you,"
That's when he took your hand, his thumb brushing against your knuckles, then planted his lips on it. "Come here." He patted his lap, gesturing you to sit on his lap.
You obliged. He rubbed his hands on your arms soothingly, comforting almost, as if he can sense the disappointment and frustration you feel for yourself.
"I'm not disappointed," he assured you, "I'm amused, actually,"
You whirled your head, facing him. You were surprised by his confession.
You blinked. "What?"
Now, his lips turned up a little bit. And you start to wonder how botching dinner and failing at doing a basic life skill is amusing as this doctor said.
"Well, I appreciated the gesture, even though it did not end well. You didn't have to do this, but thank you,"
You adjusted yourself on his lap, you put your head on his shoulder, you wrapped your arms around his neck. And he kissed your forehead, cradled your neck, coddling you protectively like you were a baby. Well, his baby.
"I really did want to make this special, you know? With all of what's happening— Barry, the metas— and the whole secret relationship is not helping. It's all happening so fast, and we didn't have time for ourselves," you rambled on.
"I know." His chest heaved. "It's okay. You tried,”
Silence seeped through the room. You felt safe and comfortable in his arms. You ran your thoughts, thinking how far you've come in your secret relationship and how intimate he'd become. He wasn't always like this, the kisses were awkward, so was holding hands. He was weird with affection; he wasn't used to it, exactly. You were like high schoolers dating. That built up a lot of tension, which paid off later.
Only 10 months ago, you were just an intern at S.T.A.R Labs. He's just the guy you worked for, he didn't know you existed, hell, you weren't even on his research team for the particle accelerator. Then Barry got struck by lightning and was in a coma, then he offered to help him, bringing him to S.T.A.R Labs. He was nice, he was assuring— he was there.
Although, you admit that you always had a crush on him, you considered it as merely admiring his works. Then something happened, something sparked between you two, and you realize that you're starting to have feelings for the man.
You pursued him. Man, he was hard to crack. He had a bunch of excuses. First, it was the 28 years age gap between you two; then it was his current condition; then ultimately, his new reputation in the city. It was like he's immune to temptation, but even steel can be bent. Two months of pining after him, he gave in. You may have snapped and confronted him and annoyed him in the process, but he gave in.
"Imagine, 6 months of dating and I never cooked for you," you said randomly.
"It was probably for the best," he quipped.
You both shared a laugh. Although you were a bit flushed. You started fiddling with the hem of your sweater again. As much as you want to stop, because you might ruin it, but it just feels nice when it brushes against the skin of your fingers.
"My mom was great in the kitchen," you began. Memories played on your head— memories of family dinners every night. It's a blur, but you remember how it felt; warm, inviting, happy— whole.
"Really?" You nodded.
"If she was here she'd be wondering how on earth am I her daughter." You chuckled.
"If she's here, she would be very proud of how incredible and smart you are,"
"Yeah?"
Wells exhaled. "Not with what you've done with the steak, but—" you didn't let him finish and swat his chest. He laughed a bit, much to your already abashed self.
"No, I meant it. She would have been very proud. It's a shame she never gets to see the woman you become," he said, as he tuck a strands of hair behind your ear.
You rolled your eyes, but you blushed. You admit, it was nice to hear it. If she can see you right now, you really wish she's proud.
He cupped your chin, lifting it to meet your eyes. "I love you," he said it like the first he said it: stern, yet with such emotions and meaning with it, it makes your heart sink. Only him can do that.
"I love you too," you replied, leaning into him.
You kissed him sweetly and tenderly. Even now, kisses from him make your stomach flips.
Moments like this in your relationship is what makes you all warm and fuzzy inside, it makes your heart flutter. He's a man of logic, of course his words and gestures were often minimal. But when he shows them, it's meaningful and beautiful and just sweet.
You pulled away, grinning ear-to-ear like an idiot.
"Do you want me to order some pizza?"
"I think we should skip dinner and head straight for desserts," you saw the smirk on his face, the glint in his eyes: dark and mischievous.
He leaned closer, slowly, inch by inch, as if torturing you, making your breath hitch. His breath fanned against your lips, his own was hair breadth away from you.
You knew exactly what this is leading to, but it wouldn't hurt to mess with him.
You tilted your head slightly, staring at his thin, pink lips, leading him to believe you're going for it, then pulled away, raising your eyebrows.
"The soufflé?" You inquired, pretending to be clueless. "I can get them if you want,"
You got off his lap, not even fully standing when his hands grabbed your waist and yanked you back down, and you let out a squeal in the process. He wrapped his arms around you locking you in. His hand cupped your cheek, before clashing his lips against yours.
Hungrily, he kissed you. You put your hand on his chest, as your lips moved against his, fighting his dominance, he moved his lips searingly, deepening the kiss that sends chills down your spine. His tongue brushes against your bottom lip, and you open up your lips, allowing him entrance. It was the battle of tongue, which you lost, melting into him.
His hands roamed your back, then your waist, the edge of your curves, alighting a spark in your stomach. Your hands flew to his neck, clutching it.
You broke the kiss to catch your breath. Your heavy breath was seemingly dramatic compared to his. He didn't even break a sweat. You giggled, your head felt light and the room was spinning around, heart was racing. Damn. He's such a good kisser.
You shifted, straddling his lap, you put arms around your neck, reeling him back into the heated kiss. Your hips flicked, groans spilled from your lips. His lips moved to the nape of your neck, vigorously sucking on your sweet spot right there. You tried to suppress the moan in your throat, as his lips lowered down, nipping the skin of your collarbone. The last time you screamed, the neighbor slammed on the wall, complaining. Not having that again.
The need for him builds up in the pit of your stomach minute by minute, rocking your hips faster and faster against him, your own wetness growing. He untied the knot of your apron. He took it off your neck, throwing it to the side, before grabbing your face and capturing his lips again, not getting enough of it.
You took his jacket off of him, without breaking your lips, then your dainty fingers started unbuttoning his shirt skillfully. It was clearly unfair, so he started getting rid of your blouse as well. You discarded each other's top, until you were down to your bra, which he unclasped later on.
You gasped, as you felt your breasts were finally freed. The chilly air inside made your nipples harden. He admired your perky breasts, appreciatively, planting a kiss in between, you hummed involuntarily. His lips trailed closer and closer, he swirled his tongue around the nub teasingly and torturously. A hum wouldn't do anymore, you moaned in pleasure. Then suddenly, he ravished your nipples in his mouth, sucking on the nub, like fingers toyed with the other one.
Your fingers ran across the naked chest, to the taut of his shoulder, before delving in the bed of his locks, gripping them tightly, as he continued on, moving to the breast to give the same attention. He pinched it, bit it; he drove you wild with what he's doing with your nipples.
It's like someone started a fire in your bones; you're all hot and bothered.
He stopped kissing them, which made you whine for the loss of attention. He tugged your short, basically saying you needed to take them off, and you did, leaving you with only your panties on you.
His lustful eyes raked your naked body, as you stood before him, breathless. Your heart pounded in your ears, adrenaline rushing through your veins in excitement. You felt the ache between your legs, slowly feeling your panties dampening. God, you really need him.
He ran his hands on hips, trailing hot, open-mouth, wet kisses down your stomach, it made you bite your lip.
"Stunning. Just stunning," he whispered softly against your warm skin.
You blushed lightly at his comment. He liked making you blush. You realized that pattern back when Barry was in a coma. You'd stay and help out, he would just compliment you for whatever you tackled that day.
You let out a gasp, when he gripped your hips, lifting you off the floor, and placed you on top of the kitchen counter. You didn't expect such force from him. His fingers slipped through the bands of your panties, tugging them down antagonizing slowly. Such a tease.
He lowered his head in between your legs, as he spread them opening. His lips curved at the sight of your wetness, he took your leg and put over his shoulder, and began sucking on the soft skin of your leg, trailing up to your inner thigh. You felt his warm breath ghosting your inner thigh, kissing it, as his lips moved up and up to your womanhood, his fingers lightly trailed against it.
"Harry, please," you cried, screwing your eyes shut and bit your lips harshly.
Hearing your plea, he slowly licked a stripe, then closed his mouth over the sensitive bundle of nerves. Your mouth hung open and you arched your back. Pleased with his work, he hummed, sending vibrations through your body.
"Oh, don't stop," you whined.
"Oh darling, I don't intend to," he said huskily, it ran shivers down your spine.
His tongue thrusted in and out of you, swirling around your clit, driving you to sweet ecstasy. You clampled the edge of the counter and mewled loudly, your hips locked up at the sensation.
Abruptly, a ring cut through the moment. Wells stopped, but upon realizing that it wasn't his phone, he carried on. Breathless, you pat the counter behind you, looking for your phone. Once you took a hold of it, you were going to reject it, seeing the caller ID, you turned to Wells.
"It's Cisco," you informed him.
You thought he didn't just hear you, distracted, so you told him again.
"Answer it,"
Your lips parted, "Wha—"
"Answer it," he repeated nonchalantly.
You can't believe that he's risking being caught. For someone who would scold you to keep your hands to yourself when you're out, this is surprising.
Extremely bewildered and aroused, and worried that something might have happened to Barry, you didn't argue and clicked to answer.
"Hey Cisco," you tried to steady your voice, but it wavered at the end, when he sucked your clit with vigor.
"Hey Y/N. You busy?"
Yup.
"Not so much. What's up?" you reply, panting.
Your breath stopped in your throat, you weren't able to register the next sentence Cisco said, when you felt Wells inserted a finger inside of you. His finger went in out of you, before adding another finger in. He scissored his digits inside, pumping in and out, looking for the sweet spot, while his thumb rubbed your clit roughly. If he keeps doing this you're not going to last.
You looked at him, mouth hung open. He gave a smug smirk, and licked your clit.
"Y/N? Can you hear me?" You almost forgot he was there.
Your arm fling to your face. Your teeth dug on your arm, squirming quietly, unable to handle the pleasure.
"Y/N!" Cisco yelled in your ears.
There's something arousing and bothering with this; the idea of getting caught while doing it, it's thrilling. But it's weird and you have embarrassed yourself enough.
"I'll call you back!" You gasped, pressing the button and basically threw your phone behind you.
Your hips quivered, locking him up in between. You felt the orgasm bubbling inside of you. You were so close.
"Harry, I need to—"
"No, not yet," he cut you off, his tone authoritative.
You whimpered in return, in need for release. He patted your thigh, gesturing you get off the counter. You hesitated, for you actually thought you would crumble if you got on your feet.
"Come on." His fingers flicked in gesture.
You know you can't sit on the counter forever; you haven't even cleaned it. You have to get off eventually, and slowly you planted your feet on the hardwood floor. You wobbled for a bit, but you grabbed onto him for support.
Your eyes met his dark ones. His hands reached for his belt, unbuckling it and threw it to the side. His pants and underwear followed suit, pooling at his feet. Your eyes wandered to his hardened member and you watched as he stroked it.
"Turn around," he ordered.
That ran chills through your body. You did what you were told. He guided your hands towards the counter, and placed it there. He held your waist, slowly bringing you down on his lap. Anxious to get him inside of you, you tried to sink down, he held you in place, growling at your impatience. He has a thing for taking time slow and being dominant, which you really didn't mind, but with high nearing, you were eager.
He lined himself up in your entrance, you even felt the tip of his length teasing you.
“Stop teasing,” you half-moaned and groaned.
"Say please,"
"Please, Harrison— I can't take it anymore. I need you," you cried.
“More,” he demanded.
“Please, I need you inside me. Please, babe. Please, I can't take it anymore,”
You felt him slowly entering inside. You let out shaky breath and you heard a raspy grunt from him. He stretched your walls, pain was present. You winced. It has been weeks since you’ve been this intimate, you almost forgot how it felt like.
“You okay?”
You nodded, biting your lips.
“Use your words,”
“Yes,” you panted.
He gave you a few moments to get accustomed to his member, before lifting you up to test the waters, starting a slow and gentle pace. You moaned loudly. It felt so good, he filled you up so good. Damn, you missed this. You clenched your walls, a guttural groan escaped his lips. His hand finds it's way to your breast, fondling with it.
“Harry, faster!”
He started picking up the pace, and finding the rhythm that suited him. He thrusted faster and harder, rocking your hips against his, hitting all the good spots, your toes curled in the process. You clamped the counter, knuckles turning white. You held on for dear life, as he took you from behind.
You couldn't keep the voices down anymore, and you couldn't care less about the neighbors anymore— grunts, moans, screams and pleads filled the room. You were a whimpering mess, crying his name and begging for more.
The overwhelming intensity of the pleasure washes over you. You were close, so, so close. You need to come.
“Harrison, please,” you begged weakly.
“Please what?” His voice is deep and raspy.
“Please, let me come,” you whimpered.
“Then come,”
He thrusted in you deeper. Tears pricking the corner of your eyes, desperate for your high. Then you felt it. Your clit pulses and walls clenched again. Eyes are closed, you arched your back and screamed. You screamed, as you came undone.
You thought he would stop, but he didn't. Instead, he gripped your hips tighter, pretty sure that's going to leave an imprint behind. He slammed your hips down on him, thrusting deeply and roughly.
He took you from behind with, until he met his high he felt his own pleasure washing over him. You felt spurts of warm liquid inside of you. Thank God for your pills or else Joe would kill you. Being an adult doesn't make being pregnant less scarier. Especially if your adoptive father is a cop, and your brother is a superhero.
His pace started getting sloppy and slow. You lean back to him, your back meets the skin of his chest, warm and sticky with sweat. Your bodies glistened with sweat.
Short breaths escaped from your parted lips. He trailed sloppy kisses on your shoulder, wrapped his arms around your waist, still not pulling out of you.
You were so dizzy, exhausted, overwhelmed and just happy. You truly missed being with just him and right now, you couldn't be more content in his arms.
"Round 2?” You challenged, panting with a grin plastered on your face.
He didn't reply, but you saw the corner of his lips tugged up. Next thing you know, the wheelchair was moving, heading to the direction of your bedroom.

I finally have time to write, damn it! I have been MIA for the longest time (and Twitter has been basically my place for word vomit) but I swear I have been trying to write something here -- as proven by my numerous drafted posts. LOL. 😓
If you’ve been following me on Twitter or Instagram, I TURNED TWENTY FOUR a few months back. Yup, I have officially changed my profile every where to 24. I still can’t believe I am THAT old but meh.
I celebrated my birthday walking dogs and getting drunk around Sheung Wan and Central Hongkong with my boyfriend -- super low key but probably one of the best birthday celebrations ever! 💜 But I’d probably save a different post for that -- WHEN I FIND THE TIME AND ENERGY TO DO SO. (Possibly never, but let’s see lol)
And since I am T W E N T Y F O U R (ack!), I have decided to come up with a blog post on 24 life realizations I have at 24 - some are realizations I’ve had leading up to my 24th but you get my point. 😂
1. Love comes when you least expect it - cliché, I know. But I met my boyfriend at this random birthday party I gate-crashed AKA his 30th birthday. 😁 Long story short, we’ve been going out for over a year now. We both weren’t looking for anything then since he just got out of a toxic relationship, and I was casually going out with random people. But here we are. 😜
2. No need to rush things, do things at your own pace - I started my Masters over 2 years ago, and you’ve guessed it, most of my batch mates have their Masters degree already. 🙆🏾 At some point, I wanted to study full-time cos I’ve gotten envious of my friends. But since my parents are still (yep, I know. Shame on me) paying for my tuition fee, I don’t want to burden them with allowance expenses + my living expenses (If you’re new here, I actually live alone lol) so I need to keep my job. Now I’m 1 subject away from defending my paper! I’m almost there! And it’s actually not bad. 🤗
3. Don’t live beyond your means - Ahh, my dad’s favorite life lesson. I never thought about it then since I was living under my parents’ support, but now that I live alone I have to make ends meet month on month. In layman’s terms IF YOU CAN’T AFFORD IT, JUST DON’T.
4. Don’t put your eggs in one basket - I know I am not the best person to be all preachy about money (cos I am bad at handling my own finances, but I try) but I have 3 savings accounts in different banks. It comes in handy when one bank fucks shit up (like goes on a nationwide shut down *cough BPI*, or one that just eats up your card and your money from time to time *cough BDO*).
5. Your past doesn’t define you or how you’d succeed in the future - Another cliché saying, but I swear you get to realize why people say it often. I’ve done so much shit when I was younger but believe me when I say such experiences will help you realize stuff later on. After all, we learn from our mistakes and such mistakes will push us to be better people tomorrow.
6. Your choices in life are your own, don’t let people tell you otherwise - You will never share the exact same beliefs with everyone, I’m sure about that. Just do you and brush off other opinions, they don’t matter - believe me.
7. Keep your circle close and small - Your real friends genuinely care, the others are just curious. Be cautious.
8. Always be kind - And this applies to everyone: guards, maids, janitors, etc. Believe me, if you’re nice to everyone, it’s easier to ask for favors. 😜
9. Travel alone - You should try this at least once in your life, me thinks. It gave me a sense of liberty and independence! I did this when I was trying to mend my cracked heart - and I came back to Manila feeling all refreshed and happy. I guess I learned that I don’t need a man to survive! HAHA! 😂
10. Don’t complain, do something about it - Ranting is fine, human nature. But if you will just sit down and whine when something could actually be done, then maybe you should rethink your life choices honey. Instead of wasting your time and energy complaining, why don’t you stop and think? Things and answers won’t always be served to you on a silver platter, FIND WAYS. 😊
11. Don’t forget to remove your make up at the end of the day - PLEASE. Do yourself a favor and let your face breathe! 😛
12. ALWAYS MOISTURIZE AND PUT SPF - *i-capslock mo para intense!!!* I couldn’t stress this enough. I actually keep various moisturizers depending on the weather, I have intensive moisturizers for when I travel and light ones for the Philippine heat. Just please, never skip it!
13. One at a time - My boyfriend would always tell me this when I’m stressing over work, school, among other things. It helps, actually. Stop, arrange your thoughts, and do things one at a time.
12. Treat yourself - Now before you go crazy and tell me that this is a bad thing, I didn’t say you have to buy that expensive bag you’ve been eyeing on for so long because “I DESERVE IT”. Going back to point number 3, if you can’t afford it - IT’S A NO. It can be as simple as “I did a great job today, I deserve good coffee - not my usual pantry coffee”, which is my usual way of treating myself. If you can afford to buy that expensive bag to treat yourself, BY ALL MEANS DO IT. But always remember POINT NUMBER 3!
13. Family will always come first - Ah, this is one of the many things I realized growing up. Of course I was super excited to grow up so I can go out with my friends whenever I wanted to before. But when I moved out, I always look forward to weekends so I can come home to my family. What a baby, I know right?
14. Let go and let God - I am not the most religious person in the world, heck I barely even hear mass (I’m busy, but that’s not an excuse I’m sorry). But I really believe in greater power from above. I always find myself in hopeless situations, where I find my shitty ass crying myself to bed on most nights (add that I also live alone so imagine how bad it must be lol). But I usually find myself just getting through the worst days with little miracles. And I always thank God for that.
15. If you feel so happy with the wrong person, image how happy you’d be with the right one? - Eep, another cliché saying c/o me lol. But seriously, I thought I couldn’t be happy anymore when I once got my heart broken HAHAHA. Cut to mid-last year, I’m extremely happy -- waaay happier than before. Not saying I’m already with the person for me, though I really do hope so (HAHAHA yuck cheese) but I’m happier than before and I’m sure the person I’m with is a better person amongst all the guys I went out with before.
16. Take long walks. - I enjoy this so much especially abroad. I went on a birthday trip in Hong Kong and I spent 70% of the time walking - thinking and reflecting. 😅 I think long peaceful walks are good for everyone’s sanity.
17. Cut off toxic people. -  Not everyone you lose is a loss. If they aren’t doing you good, what’s the use of keeping them?
18. Life is what you make it. - If you want something to happen, the first step starts with you. 😅 If you don’t take the first step, nothing will happen. SERIOUSLY. Everything doesn’t happen by chance!!!!!
19. You don’t have to have a reaction on everything. - I believe there are things better left unsaid. I know a lot of people would disagree. But I still think the saying “If you have nothing nice to say, just zip it” is still superior. Lol.
20. Work isn’t everything. - I recently had to stop working for a week and a half due to some health concerns. It sucked balls. But I came to realize work isn’t everything -- YOUR HEALTH (mental health included) IS WAY MORE IMPORTANT.
21. Quite connected to the bullet prior, Work can wait. - I have learned to keep work within working hours. Remember, work will always come and it will never be done. Know what’s most important and prioritize! That’s the key. Whatever’s left can be done tomorrow. You don’t have to spend 12 hours in the office all day and stress out on work, tbh.
22. Choose your battles. - Not everything is worth stressing over. (remember point 19!) 😋
23. Respect begets respect. - Respect opinions, respect people - young and old alike. Sometimes we just have to learn to agree to disagree.
24. Live life to the fullest. - Another cliché saying, but honestly you’ll never be as young as you are today. Make mistakes so you will never make the same ones in the future, learn the ropes of life through the decisions you make everyday. Not everything will go our way, that’s for sure, but life is only what we make of it.
I hope you got to pick something up from my blabbing. To be honest, it took me months to finish this list since I barely have time in my hands. Lol. 😬
I missed you, Tumblr! ✨

All 18 MCU Films Ranked Because Why The Fuck Not?
Tumblr media
Ten years, eighteen fucking movies. Holy shit.
Yup it’s been a whole decade since Samuel L. Jackson showed up in the “Iron Man” end credits to tease the hell out of fans at the mention of the word “Avengers” but I don’t think even in most fans’ wildest dreams did they believe such a mega franchise would blossom from that moment.
Though quality certainly varies from film to film and some have aged better than others, what the Marvel Cinematic Universe has done is still nothing short of remarkable. This series is basically pumping out two to three sequels every year and somehow all these films connect to one another in mostly coherent ways. Fans and general movie going audiences have for the most part adored the movies, much to the chagrin of screaming DCEU fan boys and now we finally appear to be reaching some sort of end game (at least for this particular chapter of the MCU-verse) in “Infinity War” premiering at the end of the week.
Now anyone who knows me well knows I’ve been pretty lukewarm on this franchise since the beginning. Outside of some clear gems, the MCU has been mostly one big, largely one dimensional bag of popcorn flicks and action comedies and while that’s not the worst thing in the world (we all know what is) it’s at the very least a little mundane. The MCU tends to over rely on the Joss Whedon school of film-making, littering almost every scene with a punchline, thus over-saturating the story with bathos (my new favorite word btw) to the point the story loses its sincerity and almost becomes a parody of itself.
That said, there are worst super hero films to watch in the world besides the MCU series and rarely have I left a movie going “well that was a waste of time” so without further ado here are the 18 MCU ranked by yours truly (which I’m sure will piss some of you off). Enjoy...
 18. Thor: The Dark World
Tumblr media
*Sigh* I had high hopes for this one when it came out many years ago because I was hoping I might see a bit more of the Thor I’m familiar with in the comics but instead we got a boilerplate of the most consistent problems MCU films tend to have: Uninteresting plot, a one-dimensional villain, flatly directed scene creation, bad jokes, and a bland female love interest. The first half of this movie is a fucking slog to get through and Natalie Portman is as dry as sand paper inheriting the plot device for no other reason than to give her something to do. Really, the only thing that saves this movie from being completely unwatchable is Tom Hiddleston as Loki who carries the film like Kobe Bryant did the 2006 LA Lakers, keeping it just barely above completely terrible. The Thor films are generally speaking not that good on most levels but “The Dark World” is exceptionally bad.
 17. The Incredible Hulk
Tumblr media
Can we even count this as part of the MCU anymore? Virtually none of this film’s contents make it to the rest of the MCU including Edward Norton as Bruce Banner and most people, including myself when making this list, forget the movie even existed. Not much interesting happens in this movie but hey, at least it has a pretty decent fight for the finale that kind of saves the movie.
 16. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
Tumblr media
This is probably where I’ll start to piss a few of you off but I just don’t care for this sequel that much. This is a movie that really over does it on the bathos, with another one-note bad guy and just seems to rely too much on the wit and charisma of the cast to carry it (as good as they are). The film takes zero risks from the original and seems to have a punchline for virtually every scene in the movie to the point it becomes tedious to get through for me. I get that movies like this, and the original, are meant to be lighthearted and goofy but the film needed way more quiet and sincere moments to balance it out more. For what it’s worth though Michael Rooker kills it as Yondu and the best moment of the movie is his and *gasp* it’s one of the few moments where we don’t get a punchline! What a concept!
 15. Iron Man 2
Tumblr media
Generally considered to be most fans least favorite MCU flick, (until they remember “The Incredible Hulk” and “Thor: The Dark World” exists of course) “Iron Man 2” is a mixed bag of good to bad moments. In terms of the good, Mickey Rourke, when he’s onscreen at least, is menacing and enjoyable and Sam Rockwell is a natural delight as well but at the same time both villains are half-baked once again and don’t do much of anything that interesting in the story. Terence Howard was recast with Don Cheadle who in my opinion is miscast as James Rhodes aka War Machine and the whole script feels like they were making it up as they go. That said, it’s a decent one-time popcorn flick and the race scene is genuinely fun even if it’s short.
 14. Dr. Strange
Tumblr media
Let me first say that this character will always have a special place in my heart because this is my dad’s favorite comic book hero and I grew up reading a lot of old “Dr. Strange” comics because of it. But with that said I really don’t get the love behind this movie. It’s a pretty straightforward origin story comic book movie and aside from some dazzling Inception-like visuals I was bored through most all the movie. Benedict Cumberbatch is fine as the sorcerer supreme and even with the white-washing in mind I guess Tilda Swinton is decent as the Ancient One but there’s not much to hang on to here. The film wastes the talents of Mads Mikkelsen as Kaecilius (again a recurring theme with these villains) and has another one-dimensional female love interest that lends virtually nothing to the story. The film’s not bad so much as it is just simply not that interesting even with all its magic in play. But the film does have a genuinely good sequence with the “I want to bargain” scene which is both funny and clever, so it had that at least (But what a waste of a character like Dormamu too).
  13. Avengers: Age of Ultron
Tumblr media
It’s hard to put my finger on exactly what makes this movie not work. Between a shoehorned in romance between Black Widow and Hulk, lazy writing behind the character of Ultron (despite James Spader doing his best), and lack of knowledge on the goings-on of the “Agents of Shield” TV show going in,  the film, for lack of a better description, just isn’t good. It has some decent action scenes and again Spader does the best with what he has but I think the movie just struggles from having too many moving parts going at the same time. The film does have a pretty great scene that I’m glad wasn’t cut from the theatrical release and that’s the Scarlett Witch hallucination sequence which gave the characters some real depth for a moment. I should say, I don’t hate this movie so much as I’m just not all that impressed by it is all.
 12. Thor
Tumblr media
I think this movie gets a little more crap than it deserves but the first “Thor” really wasn’t as bad as some fans will tell you, in my opinion. Perhaps I’m looking back on it with the rose-tinted glasses of a Thor fanboy who was just so happy to see his favorite Odison on the big screen for the first time back in the day but really there isn’t much that was thaaaat offensive about this movie. It’s cheesy, yes, with it’s family fun level violence, corny jokes and again flat female love interest but it was fun at least and not a bad time at the movies back in 2011 (wow). The story is simple and the action is entertaining and for its time that was enough. Is it a great comic book movie or even a great MCU movie? Hell no! But it survives on the talents of Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston and that’s enough to make it not a bad movie at least.
 11. Ant-Man
Tumblr media
For what it’s worth, this movie had a lot of things going against it before it premiered and still ended up being a genuinely fun, campy super hero flick despite its flaws. The original director Edgar Wright (one of the best directors of this era, in my opinion) bowed out over creative differences with the studio which is a real shame and the new director basically had a year to rewrite and shoot everything. Despite this, it was still a fun movie even if it was kind of whatever too. Paul Rudd is great as Scott Lang who plays off Michael Douglas’s as Hank Pym well and Michael Pena is funny as the wise-cracking, story-telling Luis. The film does have perhaps one of the worst one-dimensional villains of the series in Yellow Jacket but ehh it’s still a fun movie and easily the best sequence is the miniature fight between him and Ant-Man on the train set.
 10. Iron Man
Tumblr media
*Gasp* I know. “This low on this list?” You’re damn right. I don’t care what anyone tells me, this is one of the most overatted super hero flicks of all-time. How people could compare this to “The Dark Knight” back in 2008, unless you’re rabid Marvel comics fan boy, is beyond me. With that said it’s not a bad movie, it’s just a fairly straight forward popcorn flick is all. Robert Downey Jr. of course carries the film with all his natural charisma and the action sequences are a lot of fun on screen but that’s just it; there’s not much else there beyond it. It’s an origin story film that certainly works but doesn’t rise beyond its genre in the same way perhaps other better origin movies have done. Again it has a one-note villain, even if he is played by The Dude himself Jeff Bridges, but the final fight, as short as it is, is fun too so there’s that at least. All in all this isn’t a bad movie but I seriously do not understand people’s love affair with this film. It’s a popcorn flick and not much deeper than that, fam.
 9. Iron Man 3
Tumblr media
“That one??” I can hear a few of you saying reading this. Yes, that one.
Of the solo Iron Man movies (emphasis on solo here, I’ll get into this later) this is the best Iron Man in my opinion. I’ve warmed up to this one more over the years, appreciating the little things it does well, such as putting Tony in a precarious position without his suit for most of the movie where he has to MacGyver his way out of trouble to survive his enemies and the twist, upon further review, is actually kind of clever (not great). The film still wastes another talented actor, this time Guy Pierce, as the main villain in the story, like most MCU films, but RDJ is his typically witty self in this and the movie works well as it always does with him. The movie didn’t need Iron Patriot, especially if Norman Osbourne wasn’t going to make an appearance, but there isn’t that much about the movie that is intellectually offensive at least. It’s another popcorn flick and nothing more than that but I enjoyed it when it came out many years ago, though I doubt I’ll ever feel the need to watch it again like most films on this list.
 8. Thor: Ragnarok
Tumblr media
This movie is basically “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2″ but better in that even though it’s basically one punchline after another at least the humor is better this time around and doesn’t try to fool you into thinking it’s something more sincere. This one is perhaps the only MCU film that can 100 percent be classified as a comedy and though it was a bit annoying to sit through another joke heavy Marvel flick at least I laughed a lot. It’s funny, sometimes uproariously, and visually it’s a very pretty movie, especially compared to the drabness of the previous two solo Thor ventures. Mike Ruffalo’s Hulk has some great moments in the movie and plays off Hemsworth’s Thor well and the movie even gets a memorable villain for a change as Cate Blanchett hams it up as Hela pretty well (even if she has a criminally small amount of screentime). Maybe since I gave up on waiting to see a serious Thor movie ages ago I wasn’t offended by this as much as GOTG Vol. 2 last year but legitimately this is a fun movie to watch despite everything.
 7. Captain America: The First Avenger
Tumblr media
Back in a forlorn period where punching Nazis wasn’t controversial, the first Captain America film came out and for all its cheesiness this is actually a pretty sincerely decent movie. It came out during a time where the angst of my teenage years was beginning to subside and my love for those types of cynical comic book heroes (Batman, The Watchmen, Constantine) became less centralized (still love all of those of course). I didn’t know it at the time but I needed a heavy dosage of optimism and a character who was just a genuinely good person trying to do the right thing. I started to warm up to the boy scout type characters such as Superman and after “Captain America” came out I instantly became a fan of his too. There’s a wholesome message in the film about simply being good and physical strength vs personal strength. Yes, Red Skull is another generic mustache twirler but it works in relation to the story better than most as there’s a nice conflict between him and Cap. The movie is cheesy and shot poorly and visually has not aged well at all (having re-watched it recently) but performances by Evans and Hayley Atwell, who plays perhaps the most three-dimensional female lead in the series as Peggy Carter, make the film worth watching. I had my doubts about how Chris Evans would do as Cap in this movie, considering he had only seemed to play wisecracks up to this point in his career but now I can’t imagine anyone else playing this character. He captures the quiet charisma and good natured calm of the super hero well in the same way Christopher Reeves did as Superman many decades prior and though I’m sure he’ll have a final curtain call in “Infinity War” (or its sequel) Evans will always be Captain America to me and he made me a fan because of this film.
 6. The Avengers
Tumblr media
I’ve become significantly less enamored with this film since it came out in 2012 but with that said it was probably the most fun I had at the theaters that summer (Note: That I didn’t see “Dredd” until it came out on Blu-ray). It’s a pretty typical Joss Whedon witty action, blockbuster comedy but it’s a damn sharp one at least. The action in the movie is fantastic and with limited exposure to their interpersonal relationships we get a lot out of each Avenger in this movie that fans all around can enjoy. Tom Hiddleston hams it up beautifully as Loki and steals each scene he’s in and there are some very quotable lines all around in this movie from the other characters as well. The movie also introduced me to schwarma which is great too.
Is it a deep movie? Not even close but it’s still a lot of fun at least.
 5. Spider-man: Homecoming
Tumblr media
No, this isn’t the best Spider-man movie but damn it does it help wipe my memory of the worst one. “Homecoming” is less a Spider-man movie per se and more a typical Avengers style film that fits in fairly well with the rest of the series. It’s a movie full of light-hearted quips and typical Spider-man vigilante people-saving flair but it also stand on its own even if it is imperfect (Stealing a Miles Morales character for Peter Parker is a tad bit fucked up). Tom Holland does well as our friendly neighborhood Spider-man but it’s Michael Keaton who plays a sharper than usual MCU bad guy in Vulture that helps carry the film between the two. All in all it’s not a great super hero film but it’s a quality popcorn flick and in this case that’s better than “amazing.”
 4. Guardians of the Galaxy
Tumblr media
I wouldn’t call this film as revolutionary as some have but it is very creative and the product of James Gunn’s clever touch. It’s a space opera, action comedy blockbuster in the best way and just a hugely entertaining film in general. The movie balances the charm of all its characters well allowing Chris Pratt to do his thing and have everyone else involved between Bradley Cooper, Dave Bautista and Zoey Saldana play off that while creating their own memorable moments and catchy one-liners too. This is also one of the few cases where a one-dimensional villain wasn’t necessarily a bad thing as Lee Pace’s Ronan hams it up to 11 and is evil in the most hilarious way possible. The story isn’t super complex but it does allow for genuine quiet moments of real emotion (more than its sequel did) that gives the audience much needed breaks between the zaniness of its plot and setting. This is perhaps the only movie on this list where having a lack of grit wasn’t a bad thing and in its own way is a nice homage to the cheese of old 1930s and 40’s science fiction serials of the past.
 3. Captain America: Civil War
Tumblr media
This movie is the second best Captain America film but the best Iron Man movie in my opinion. RDJ is the best version of Stark in this movie as we see his character experience more doubt and is allowed to be more distinctively dramatic than any of the previous movies. The narrative of this film though is what really carries the drama from start to finish and makes it stronger than most of the MCU. The story manages to construct powerful arcs for not just Cap and Stark but for its new arrival too in T’Challa aka Black Panther. Each of these characters have their own separate plot going and motivation toward their ultimate goal all relating back to Cap’s old war buddy Bucky. These plot lines converge powerfully at the film’s climax and sets up a truly satisfying ending that makes it not just one of the best MCU movies but just a great super hero film in general. The worst thing I can say about this movie, other than some bad jokes as per the usual MCU standard, is that its shot and edited fairly flatly. Action scenes are certainly fun but they are done in a pretty typical style that lacks creativity (Compare the staircase scene in this movie to the one in Season 2 of “Daredevil” of that same year and you’ll understand what I’m getting at). All in all, this film is one of the reasons The Russo Brothers have been given the reigns to the MCU’s biggest movie this summer and fans should be excited because of it.
 2. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Tumblr media
The first MCU film in this franchise that actually bared some teeth and made me actual feel real emotions for a change is The Russo’s first fore into the franchise in the widely popular Captain America sequel “Winter Soldier.” This used to be my favorite MCU film, until the next film on this list, but it had earned that spot by being the first MCU film to finally get dirty and get at something a bit more personal and even thematically more important. At its core “Winter Soldier” is about Cap’s struggle with the past and how he can never get it back; one of the film’s first scenes is a rather tragic reminder of that as he sits bedside with an elderly Peggy Carter who appears to be suffering from Alzheimer’s. In Bucky he see’s a chance to get a little of that old life back but obviously it’s more complicated than that. Meanwhile the rest of the story appears to have a lot to say about the surveillance state and how much power we are giving those who look after us. Is this true freedom? To Cap that’s a resounding “no” and that’s what makes him a particularly powerful hero in this story. The movie has some decent action of course and some good jokes here and there but it’s used more effectively in this movie than in most others in this series and it results into, at the time, the most satisfying Marvel film to date.
 1. Black Panther
Tumblr media
Did you really think this list would end with anything but “Black Panther?” This film is far and away the best MCU film to date by a wide margin (as good as the previous two were) and it stands clearly on the mountain top here. This is more than a super hero movie to me; it’s a quality film period. It’s a movie that harkened back a bit to the first generation of modern super hero movies that were more message-driven while also being quintessentially of this age and nuanced as well. It’s a movie that bares its teeth and isn’t afraid to go long stretches in its story without a fucking joke for a change and trust its audience will hold its attention through that span. It’s one of the only MCU flicks that feature any real stylistic editing and shot producing and an original soundtrack that actually feels distinct and powerful for a change too. It’s a fanciful setup with an Afro-futurist society and cat suit wearing super hero but undeniably the movie is also more tuned into reality with its theme than any previous Marvel flick to date. It’s a film where the lead actor puts on a great performance of his own but maybe is only the third or fourth most best character of the film, in a good way! It features multiple three-dimensional female heroes, who never rely on the lead for help and a villain that is both complex and sympathetic. It’s such a beautiful film in multiple ways that I’m still shocked the MCU made it! “Black Panther” is the gold standard for this series, in my opinion, and frankly, regardless of how “Infinity War” plays out this month I’m just glad we’re going back to Wakanda again. Hopefully Thanos doesn’t destroy too much of it.
Phew. So there it is my best of list. Hope I didn’t piss too many of you off but that’s just like my opinion, man. Let me know what you think in the comments. What’s your favorite and least favorite MCU film? Sound off!

Kim Namjoon - College!AU
Lemme just say that I love you guys for the attention you’re giving my other scenarios!
Word Count: 2162
Just a note: I imagined all of them as Run era, those hair styles and clothes etc.
and thanks to the porn blogs, hope you’re enjoying these too!
You were a freshman in college majoring in dance and modern literature
Your best friends since middle school Jungkook managed to get into the same college as you so you were both hyped to get started there
He was also majoring in dance but minored in music production
While you didn’t really have an interest in fraternities and all the Greek Life™, Jungkook was set on joining one of the best
Beta Tau Sigma
Being a people-person, he knew a few people in there already
A.k.a some of the most popular boys on campus
These connections got the guy in before pledges started
Even before the year started for that matter
Before your classes started full-time you wanted to go out for a last breath of freedom
Jungkook insisted that you should get to know some of the guys from the frat, and you (somewhat reluctantly) agreed
There ended up being 8 of you all out there just randomly walking the streets and going around parks for the whole day
You met each of them and discovered that they’re all great guys and not complete fuck-boys like movies put them out to be
There was Kim Taehyung a 2nd Year theatre major minoring in art
2nd Year Park Jimin who’d be sharing your dance classes
Jung Hoseok, 3rd Year, another dance major minoring in music production with Jungkook
Min Yoongi, also a 3rd Year, in music production and classical literature
Kim Namjoon, 3rd Year, in music production and theoretical physics
and finally Kim Seokjin, 4th Year, from theatre and biochemistry
When you all felt hungry, Seokjin lead the way to his favourite restaurant
It was a fairly small diner on side street not 20 minutes away from the college and had a 50′s theme
There were jukeboxes on every table, tall red bar stools, leather booths and waitresses dressed in classic periodic dresses
Since they boys had been eating at the place for so long, they knew the staff like family and introduced yourself and Jungkook
All of you managed to fit into a booth in the corner (somehow) but it was tight
You were squashed sat between Namjoon and Taehyung, their heights surrounding you making you feel rather small in comparison
It’s not exactly a bad feeling, you’re just not used to it with it usually being just you and Jungkook eating together
Taehyung recommended some of the meals to the two of you, mainly burgers
When the food comes, it smells greasy, delicious and in no way good for you
Perfect
After a long time of walking around, everyone’s appetites were huge, meaning that the food was practically absorbed by all the guys
After eating, you all started talking about anything that came to mind
You found out that Jin is a semi-successful youtuber by the name “EatJin”
Taehyung was a part-time model for a small chain store in Seoul
Yoongi was trying to save up for a personal studio
Jimin had been dancing for 9 years and met Hoseok at his dance school
And Namjoon was notorious for breaking everything he touched, including people.
“One time in his 2nd year, we were playing beer pong and he picked up a cup that he was about to drink. The cup just literally split in half and got the alcohol all over him”
The boys re-told stories of how Namjoon almost hurt himself or others by destroying something, each one making you and Jungkook laugh harder than the last
By the time they’d finished, Namjoon looked ready to drown in all his shame and you’d finally reached the dorms
Jungkook headed off to the Beta Tau Sigma dorm and you went back to your own that you shared with a couple of other first year girls
They all had the idea of coming here a week early to meet everyone and get used to the area
There was Lisa from Thailand who was the first one you’d met
Dahyun from Seongnam who was kind of shy at first but was warming up to you
And lastly Yoojung, a short, bubbly girl from Guri
They all seemed fun and sweet so hopefully you wouldn’t feel too out of place
All four of shared a small apartment in the largest dorm building
There were four small bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and (thank god) two bathrooms
There wasn’t any food in the kitchen since everyone arrived today so everyone decided on take-out
It was nice to get to know the girls for the night and you all knew that you’d be good friends
Lisa wanted to join a sorority, as did Yoojung: Beta Phi and Iota Omega Iota, respectively
After finishing the take-out everyone headed to bed, there was still some unpacking to do, but that could wait
The week leading up to college starting was fairly uneventful
You hung around with the guys from the frat and the girls but nothing too interesting happened
Unless you count witnessing some of Namjoon’s destructive abilities on an innocent fake cactus
But obviously, a classic welcome to college isn’t complete without a party before the year starts
It was going to be held at the Beta Tau Sigma house, and everybody would be going
No other frats were holding parties that night, not even Epsilon Xi Omega, the second biggest frat and Beta Tau Sigma’s best friends
So in true college fashion, you and your dorm-mates get ready together and prepare for a night of alcohol, dancing and more alcohol related things
You all gather in Lisa’s room since she has the biggest, bringing your makeup and top 3 outfits to possibly wear
after half an hour of deciding you go for a red top exposing your shoulders and collarbones and high-waisted skin-tight black jeans, with some black strappy high heels
Yoojung was almost matching you, but she had a light pink version of a similar top
Lisa opted for a leather and fishnet look, completely covering herself in the stuff, and black combat boots, making her ginger hair stand out
Dahyun had a checked skirt and a white top, showing her, despite being fairly small, long legs
After a group effort of doing make-up, you headed over to the frat house
You were greeted at the door by Seokjin, already with a red solo cup in hand
He lead the way in and you found Jungkook while the other 3 went their own ways
Jungkook was stood with Jimin and Hoseok who both shouted and whistled as you arrived
“Ayy, y/n, looking fiiiiinneee”
Yeah, they’re hella drunk
Jungkook, not so much, thankfully
Yoongi, Namjoon, Taehyung and Seokjin came over to see what the fuss was about and when thy realised it was just you they seemed.... disappointed?
Well just sad that it wasn’t someone to get with
You caught Hoseok winking at Namjoon out of the corner of your eye but thought nothing of it
Just boys being boys
Yoongi poured you a strangely coloured drink into the obnoxiously bright cup and handed it you
“What is this?”
“Does it really matter?”
“Not at all”
“Good because I have no idea”
Before you began to drink, Taehyung stopped you
“Wait! I know something we can do... I learnt it from my British friend: Weeee like to drink with y/n, ‘cause y/n is our mate, and when we drink with y/n they get it down in 8!”
As all of them counted down from eight you poured the alcohol down your throat, not prepared for the strong and sour taste
You got it down by 2, and nearly choked in the process, but the round of applause from everyone around you was worth it
You slapped Taehyung on the shoulder for springing the challenge on you like that but laughed along with them
After you all had a few more drinks, a new song started up and Hoseok basically dragged the boys onto the floor
“Dollar, Dollar, Squandering it all in one day~
Run, Run, I make and waste my own money”
The lyrics didn’t seem all that dance-able, but they made it work
They’re all in sync, the crowd making a gap for them to dance and cheering them on
The chorus kicks in and in true Frat Style™ they throw in a classic: The backpack kid dance
Starting off slow then going again faster with some added moves in between
Even Jungkook knows the dance
He’s only known everyone for a week and here he is, dancing like he’s been doing it for years with them
When the song finished you end with a final round of applause and meet the boys with a group hug
You gushed over how good the performance was as they all reclaimed their drinks
“That was actually amazing, i didn’t expect it to be that good!”
“I could have done better, I’m not a good dancer”
“Namjoon shut up, you’re a great dancer”
Namjoon blushed and turned away at your words, not wanting you to see how that got to him
A song you liked came on after a while so, being a little bit tipsy, you grabbed the guys and started dancing with them on the dancefloor
You didn’t have a choreographed dance like theirs so you relied on your freestyle moves to work some magic
It seemed to work as the guys started cheering as you started dancing with Jimin, both of you rather into it
So into it that you didn’t see Namjoon slink off into a corner with his drink
Your song finished and Jimin pulled you into a hug before letting you go, high on the adrenaline of the dance
After another hour, you’re feeling probably a little too tipsy for your own good, so you head upstairs to a quieter area to sober up a little
You knock on one of the doors to see if anyone was in there
You hear a soft “Come in” from the other side in a barely recognisable voice
“Namjoon?”
He was lying down face first on the bed but sat up as you opened the door
“Oh hey y/n, what are you doing up here?”
Just wanting some fresher air and something a little quieter... you?”
“Yeah same, i’m not feeling the best”
“Oh, sorry to hear that”
You closed the door as you walked in and sat next to him on the bed
“What happened?”
“Nothing too much, just remembered that my destructive powers get incredibly high when i’m drunk and i saw a few things i didn’t want to”
“What did you break?”
“A vase and the taps”
“What? How did you break the taps?”
“I honestly don’t know, I wanted to use them but the head just... came right off...”
You couldn’t help the loud laughter that came out of you but you did nothing to try and stop it
“Hey it’s not that funny!” He said before bursting into a fit of giggles himself
Oh shit that’s very cute, you thought
You lay down across the bed and Namjoon followed suit
His tinted glasses fell at an awkward angle so he threw them off the bed and onto the floor
Surprisingly they didn’t break
You both lay there for a few minutes, relaxing in the quiet hum of the music from downstairs
“Hey, y/n”
“Yeah?”
“Do pigeons have feelings?”
“Namjoon what the fuck?”
“No I’m being serious, they’re animals but they’re also like, the dumbest animals, so would they?”
“Honestly I don’t know, I guess so, but they’d probably only be the basic emotions of fear, happiness, anger & sadness...”
The two of you continued to talk about odd and somewhat philosophical stuff until you realised how close you’d gotten while talking
You and Namjoon were barely inches apart
He saw the close proximity and looked you dead in the eye with a little smirk
“Lookin’ a little warm there y/n”
“Shut up”
Namjoon closed the gap between you two and kissed you
He tasted of cheap beer and jelly shots, but he made it work
You stayed like that, just kissing and enjoying each other’s presence for another half an hour before a slightly drunk Jungkook came looking for you
He dragged the two of you downstairs and you saw that almost everybody had left, just a few people on the sofas and one passed out in the kitchen
Namjoon grabbed your hands before you left and kissed your knuckles, making you promise to see him again before the term starts
Shaking your head at his cheesiness, you accepted his promise and left the frat house, but not before Namjoon slyly winked at you while leaning on the door frame
Hoseok grabbed him by the collar and pulled him inside, waving exaggeratedly at you as you left, making you laugh and wave back
As you headed home you couldn’t help but think about your time spent with Namjoon and his promise...
You had a lot to tell the girls
Hope you enjoyed!!

Something to get out my chest
I’m probably going to delete this later and I just need to get this out my chest because I have been bottling it up for a long while and if I do blurt it to said certain family members I know I would regret saying what I said. Although talking to the void is probably not a good idea but seems a better place to vent than exploding in rage by venting my frustrations in real life and I have nothing to lose just saying this here. I'd be doing vent art to express this but it seems I don't have the energy to do ambitious works (well at least I have a bit of energy to do little doodles) anyways where shall I start? I might ramble off topic here and there so bare with me. And this is gonna be long.....
I love to draw and write the characters and worlds I create in my world and the only person who knows what are in these worlds and these characters is myself and well someone has to make them. I have been drawing since I can remember holding a pencil. My mind back then and now is always filled to the brim with ideas and concepts I'm dying to put on paper. Most of these works are unfinished and the only finished work I have to offer was a shameless self-insert fanfiction but that is another story. The earliest I can remember is at 10-11 I made my own fantasy and all over the place story and mind you it sucks but it was the forerunner of all my original stories that influenced my work now. I like all artists have our beginnings somewhere and well that is where I started my road into creating stories and art for the worlds I create.
This is what makes me happy or my happy place. I'd be content to spend my days working on my stories and art. During my teen years onwards I basically did that obviously while balancing school, social life (or my lack of it), and family life. It was great, and although I had difficulty balancing that when I first got to college I still managed. Then things changed, family stuff added along with stressing over course work really did a number on me emotionally and maybe mentally, well whatever it was it was the result of me failing a semester and having to redo it twice before I can finally move on to my final semester. Despite what I have gone through I was ecstatic I finally graduated completing my Independent Illustration diploma in college that was late 2013 to early 2014 when that happened.
You’d think I’d work out something like build a better portfolio so I can network myself or take up my learning to the next level but nope I was an idiot back then and still feel like it now because of my choices. Instead, I was scared what my future holds out for me I feel like now that I finished this stage of my learning that the sky’s the limit that I can do anything my heart desires and nothing can stop that. Then I forgot I have obligations to my family, I still live with them and I have no shame in that (after all life is difficult living on your own in these times now especially) also, for now, that is the only choice I have.
So after graduation, my family finally got the okay from the government to get our Canadian citizenships which was about damn time considering we stayed in this country as immigrants for like almost a decade and other than me graduating art school, I get to finally get my citizenship. After our ceremony, my dad announced for a bullshit reason that he is taking me, my sister, my mom, and niece to Dubai because my mom has to sign some important paper (spoiler alert there is no paper signed at all and it was all a lie my father gave us to come). So what did I do instead of working on a portfolio or something? I spent all of 2014 being anxious, I was not proud of what I choose to do instead of doing the smart thing.
I basically accepted my fate this is what's going to happen. I literally left Canada on New Year’s Eve and spent the first 3 months of 2015 away from home. A huge chunk of my “vacation” was spent in Kuwait, trapped in a hotel with my mom, sister, and niece. It was a nightmare and I never want that to happen again I did get to go places but 90% I was stuck in that damned hotel (why we were in there is a personal reason I will not disclose). The only thing that is good with this trip is my week in Thailand with my family and although I got sick there I enjoyed this part of the vacation a lot more than being trapped in a hotel in Kuwait. I did manage to do some of my art at least during these 3 months but was not a lot like I hoped for.
But ever since that trip I guess it kinda changed me a bit. I don’t consider myself a positive person heck I’m mostly negative I at least try to be optimistic. Now I just accept that my life is probably not going to be what I hope it will be. And I get it life happens and the plans you make for yourself do not always go the way you want and sometimes it is a good thing cause it may be a better path to some or not to others. I should know I went from being an illustration student to a NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) to a Liberal Arts Student so yes life works in mysterious ways.
Liberal Arts was a different territory to art courses considering its essays, readings, tests, quizzes, etc it was hard I must say I spent half my time crying over my homework and lamenting if I failed or not (although that seems to have worked wonders into getting passing grades and up). But I enjoy these classes and I do want to open my horizons to learning and hey maybe find some inspiration along the way. I already finished my second semester and currently waiting with anticipation for my final grades so wish me luck I survived the semester with passing colors. I also thought I can go back to balancing my school work and my art like I always had done. Then I forgot I have family obligations/contributions I must do. Not that I do not mind but these drain up my mental energy and by the time I am not needed I just can’t really bring myself to pick up a pencil and draw. Whatever I have time left before I sleep is stare at youtube videos and reblogging stuff online because that's how mentally tired and worthless I feel.
When I finally do have the time to actually pick up a pencil and draw 70% of the time I choose to procrastinate because I believe I’ll just be called over by the family for certain responsibilities and I’ll never get the peace and quiet I need to just do what I love and am passionate about. It's always the same cycle ever since then. I just hope there will be that window of opportunity where I have all the time I needed to just draw and maybe write and that one opportunity I had was taken away from me. Well, it won’t be for forever cause there will be more opportunities for me to actually get my lazy ass to draw maybe write. It's just that I am sick and tired of having my time taken away from me and I am mad at myself for being a doormat. But I’m just scared of feeling that I am selfish for wanting that and maybe it’s time I stop that and it will be hard for me to get over. I coped with this by blaming my problems on my family saying its their fault they did this to me (it is obviously not true but it's a way I made myself feel better and denying that this is mostly my doing) I now know it's futile projecting this because in the end, I myself have to make time for myself to do the things I am passionate about. I’ve grown quite resentful and I don’t want to become this bitter person in the future who felt like her life got wasted because she made herself a doormat to please her family or scared of her future. I envy you artists out there who have all the time in the world to make creative original (as well as fan work) content without having to deal with the roadblocks in life and being in charge of your lives. I just want to say that you have to cherish the time you make for yourself to be creative you never know what will happen and before you know it *poof* you hardly have the time. Don’t ever take it for granted like I have.
Art means a lot to me and I feel like I disappointed myself and I feel like I don’t deserve to hang my illustration diploma because I fee like an imposter and felt like I wasted my years being scared of my future so much so that I got to the point where I feel I went to the point of no return. It makes me feel like maybe I should just give up on art and forget about all those worlds and characters I created like whats the use of being creative when life got you by the ankles and refused to let go. As much as I am in such a negative state of mind refuse to outright throw away everything I hold dear and give in the mediocracy of life dragging me away. I don’t want to be discouraged ever again, I want to be sure that this time this is what I want to do with my life whether I go to study graphic design, or go big with my art or even have a typical  9-5 job but still able to find the time to do art and/or write. This is my life and maybe right now the time for doing what I love is not in my future at the moment but its still going to be there for me when I come back.
And I just want to say and I know I do not need to apologize to my followers I’m sorry if you followed me for the art and hardly or never got any content since following me. As much as I would love to post as much of my originally content as possible well I have to deal with life and responsibilities some of that said responsibilities isn’t so supposed to be mine in the first place. I thank you to those who stuck by if anything I’ll try my best to make more content when that window of opportunity opens for me and you’ll bet your ass it will be a tidal wave of stuff.
But like I said life is strange sometimes, and I’m not about to give up just yet.

Censorship Has Mutated During Coronavirus Pandemic
See on Scoop.it - COMPARE RISK COMMUNICATION
Censorship, Pandemic Style Censorship is unfortunately alive and well during this pandemic madness, taking on a variety of mutated forms as it participates in the various rights-trampling parades going on in America. We have seen the petty tyrant governors and mayors use this time to overreach and cavalierly brush aside constitutional rights in the name of safety. The First Amendment has been particularly roughed up, with the free exercise of religion, free speech, and the right to peaceably assemble all taking major hits. Matt Taibbi — not exactly a rightwing stalwart — warned last month of what he called the “Inevitable Coronavirus Censorship Crisis.” He was responding to a rather insane and disturbing article in The Atlantic that was basically making the case for adopting a more ChiCom approach to dealing with internet speech. That’s right, a venerable American publication was advocating for more censorship. The ChiComs themselves aren’t letting the crisis go to waste. Pro-commie establishment members of Hong Kong’s parliament are pushing legislation to censor and punish any language mocking the mainland’s national anthem. As I wrote last weekend, social media platforms are using the pandemic as an excuse to censor any voices that run counter to the preferred narrative. There is to be no real free speech or debate about how we should proceed through each new phase of dealing with the pandemic. Each of the major platforms has opted to be tools of the various states and prop up whichever arbitrary shutdown rules are in place. The media bias we’ve seen during all of this is a perverse sort of self-censorship that the MSM hacks are doing to themselves. They’ve been running with whatever the official word from China is, and surely they know that the censoring is kind of baked into the cake with that deal. It’s always amazing to see American “journalists” be drawn to the types of ideologues who would be the first to shut them down. This may not be directly related to the coronapocalypse, but it happened on Monday. The United Nations took some time to offer the great unwashed a list of words that we should no longer say. I’m not really sure which part of the UN’s charter lays out why it should be in the censor game, but then I still haven’t figured out what in the hell they have to do with climate change. The shutting down of church services is a form of censorship as well, and I can’t help but believe that the Democratic governors have enjoyed keeping the church folk away from worship just a little too much. Thankfully, saner legal heads seem to be prevailing on that front in the last couple of weeks. The policing of speech had become worrisome long before this pandemic hit us. The danger now is obviously having some of these more tyrannical types make some new permanent censorship rules. Speech that’s censored today may very well remain censored when we emerge from this rough patch. I’ve been fighting censorship since I first started doing stand-up and it’s a battle I’m willing to wage until they find a way to shut me up. The Chronicles of the king of Richmond
I came across some shit today that I had to share. Something too funny, dark, and ridiculous to keep to myself. But I had to figure out a way to first, get my hands on the material, and then how to give the context needed for it to be fully appreciated.
First I should start with the characters involved. We are a trio. Me, Joe, and the 'king'. I'll refer to him as the 'king' (with a lowercase 'k') because he wanted to remain anonymous, for several reasons, that should become clear later.
Joe is, by far, my best friend in here and we've been pretty much inseparable for years now, (we were bunkies twice at another facility). Some of you may have read previous posts about him. We are very different people, which is often the case with really good friends. But there is no doubt that our bond is, almost entirely, built on our shared sense of humor. A sarcastic, brutally honest, self deprecating, anything for a laugh, sense of humor.
A sense of humor developed since childhood surrounded by witty, smart-assed, assholish mentors and peers. It can be a harsh environment to grow up in, but there is a purity to be found there. An accountability and brutal honesty that is humbling and real. There are no aires allowed to survive amongst friends with no fear of giving offense. No bullshit is left uncalled, no lies left un-confronted, and no opinions restrained. Nothing is sacred and everything is mined for a laugh.
Basically we talk a lot of shit.
Nothing bonds me to another person more instantly than a similar sense of humor. Since coming to this new prison Joe and I have found a fellow, flawed, degenerate asshole, willing to laugh at himself and judge others for the sake humor.
This, is the so called 'king of Richmond.' His majesty is a large guy, about 6'1 and 240 lbs. of slightly chubby, bearded, man beef. He's well kept and neat in appearance (aside from his portly build). He's got some charisma and charm at his disposal and makes decent use of it when needed.
The king, however, has a glaring flaw, as do most of us. He's a raging addict, whose life is lived for, and run by, an incessant need for opiates. This adds an interesting but constantly problematic dimension to his life behind bars. The perpetual need to produce the money for his lifestyle is a constant story line. Most of his fundraising is done over the phone. Preferably through manipulation, but he's not above blatant begging from people in the free-world. Family members, friends, exes, and a sugar momma round out his fundraising Rolodex.
A few days ago, Joe borrowed his Majesty's tablet to listen to his music, and being the stand up friends we are, we wasted no time before invading his privacy. We opened his 'sent email' files and struck gold. Dark, hilarious, sad, revealing gold. What we found was email after email of mental and emotional manipulation in a quest to fund his lifestyle. That's the sad part. The hilarious part is witnessing the level of shameless groveling, damage control, and clumsy begging, our friend is willing to stoop to.
After an intervention filled with embarrassment, ridicule, and some tear inducing laughs from all parties, I gained the 'kings' permission to post some of the gems.
But first a disclaimer: If any form of self-respect or sense of shame is something you're expecting, then prepare yourself, because you will find neither in these emails. Also, I wanted to maintain the "purity" of the emails as they were originally written, so I left the misspellings and incorrect grammar. However, for the sake of read-ability, I added some commas and periods here and there. Other than that they are all original text, with the exception of my commentary, which will be in [brackets].
So without further adieu, I now present to you: The Chronicles Of The king Of Richmond.
Sugar Momma
The following correspondence was sent to the kings sugar momma. As her title would imply she is his main source of income. His "Go-To". She works at McDonalds and has had the unfortunate luck to be in  "love" with the king for roughly a year now. This letter is the most recent and well into the travesty that is their "relationship". This email is more focused on making excuses for begging than actual begging, but stay tuned they get worse.
His words are in "quotes" and my commentary is in [brackets]. Some are comments and some are translations of his bullshit, what he really means.
KOR 11/24  “listen, I wasn't insinuating you were fat, and honestly I wasn't trying to hurt your feelings. [he definitely was] I was giving you an example of how you could save a few bucks, so maybe out of the kindness of your heart [or from my incessant guilt laden begging] you could send me a few. Belive it or not, its rough in here, and sometimes I need money to survive in here. [Let's make one thing clear: The constant stress of his habit and the debts he accrues makes his time infinitely more difficult than it needs to be. So more money isn't the solution. It’s the problem.] That's what I was saying. I've been down for 5yrs Jenn and pretty much aint had much help, except from a few. [Just a little context. I get 50$ a month. This jackass spends 300$ a week]. We were together a long time. we broke up when I was in here, so yeah its a little different than if you were just some ex. I shouldn't exspect [too bad they don't give out money for misspelled words] it, but I would hope”.
“I guess I wasn't who I thought I was to you. [what a word-smith]. I might have put you through a lot of shit, but you sought me out. Remember that. You knew who I was. [Yeah, so you deserve everything I put you through.] Everyone did. I was the king of that town [AND THERE IT IS! The self proclaimed king of Richmond...Oh I can't tell you how embarrassed for him, angered at him, and ashamed to call him my friend I was when I read this!] not to try and sound conceited but I was, [OK. You can't say you’re not being  conceited and then double down on your brag. BTW Richmond has a population smaller than most elementary schools. So it was a small 'kingdom' to say the least] and now no one has my back. it sucks, out of everyone, I hoped that you would have, but no!! [I hope he had a neck brace on when he wrote this. This guy can go from bragging to groveling so fast that it causes whiplash]. When we broke up I wanted you to be happy and get married and do what ever. [He ran out of ideas! That's his limit of things he could conjure up that would make her happy: 2] I just wanted you to still be there for me [AKA: support my habit] and if roles were reversed Jenn, you would have 50 every month and my family would probaly even send you money and that's the proven truth. [From probably to proven truth in half a sentence?]  And you know it, so that shit hurts me, let's just remember who's the one locked up!! I'm the old me again [king?] and I'll remember all my real friends, that were there for me, when I get out in 3 in a half years.[Yeah but will they remember you?] Not long at all. And the thing with frank, [Oh yes! Thankgod he's back on the whole Frank thing! I wish I knew his address I'd send him a bottle of whisky!] belive me, I heard stories, a few. [Yeah and they haunt his dreams] but regardless, I love you, just wish you were kinder to me. ...The king”
[That's his cleanup? Someone get him a neck brace]
KOR 12/6 [Damage control] “baby, funny you say sober honestly, but no i totally understand. im sorry if it feels like sometimes I take you for granted.[by sometimes he means 'all the time'] let me try to explain [please do], in here if you don't get in a constant routine and try to make things repetitive, the time will do you, not you do the time. [A vague prison saying he heard someone say in here once and thought it sounded cool] if that makes sense [it doesn't.], its not my intentions to make it carry over into our relationship [but if it does I'm willing to live with it] I'm sorry [that I have to do this song and dance to get money]. and I fully intend to check myself and let you know how special you truly are to me [and by 'check myself' I mean I'll continue doing the exact same amount of drugs, if not more. and I'll show you how special you are by kindly taking your minimum wage paycheck]. The money you send me is for me to live comfortably in here [get high], that means getting things done that I need to get done while I'm here [I mean, these drugs aren't gonna do themselves.] and 90%, is the food and shit i need to survive [but mostly drugs]. We are already at a disadvantage because I only get 75% of what you send, which sucks [it would be much more efficient if I could put 100% of what you send me up my nose]. And they rip us off on prices on the food as it is. So I'm sorry, but i want you to fully understand you are my baby girl [creepy] and when i get out, roles will reverse and I'll be the provider and you'll live real comfortable [said with his fingers crossed], except when I come home every night and blow that back out bitch!!!! [and theres that winning charm I mentioned! what a smooth operator] I love you. [He doesn't] I got to go to the doctor at 9:30 [Ironically its 'his' back that's blown out] so I'll call you after count [to beg for more $]. I love you [again he doesn't]. if that eases your mind [It shouldn't] I love you!!! [and one final lie to cap off this masterpiece.]
Ex-Girlfriend
These next three are to his ex-girlfriend. She's somewhere down the list of reliable donors, but desperate times call for desperate measures and being a dope fiend in prison means, constant desperate times.
KOR 11/23 "So happy thanksgiving! [Now that the pleasantries are out of the way] So I havnt had any money lately, so no stamps but I just got some anyways [2nd sentence in and already caught in a lie. Clearly if he sent this, he has stamps]. Yeah I heard all about you and Carol's argument, and Dan and Josh messaging, and you jumping in on their message, and Dan cutting into you about being a shitty ex (/friend) [OK, I have to translate. First of all, this email seems to be sponsored by unnecessary commas. I guess some people were attacking her on Facebook for not sending the 'king' an adequate amount of money] Most I agree with. [Especially the money part] You havnt been there for me Jennifer [how dare you!]. I belive you have kinda done me wrong [how do you sleep at night?] and other people believe that too [so there!]. Im not saying your wrong for living your life [but you are] and going and being with someone new [because there's no way he's cooler than me]. but you can look out for the man [I use the term man loosely] that looked out for you since you were just a baby! [???? what???? creepy! actually I need to go ask him about this one.. OK he said he meant when she was 18] When I have asked for money in the past, you deny me [who the fuck do you think you are an ex?]. Hell, I'm broke right now [and that's your responsibility]. I can't get money. [But regardless I incessantly ask for it? Blatant lie no.2] uncle only sends me 50 a month and that ain't shit, that's hygiene a month. [Who calls their uncle uncle and not my uncle? What is he an orphan from the 1800's?] You don't keep money on the phone Jenn. I don't care who your new man is [again, not cooler than me], if you truly love me, you can talk to me. And 50 dollars, every couple of months ain't shit Jenn [trust me its nothing! I blow through it in no time]. So I and everyone else just think your wrong for that [OK, now he's literally speaking for everyone. Which is strange because I don't remember giving him my opinion on how much money his ex should be spending on his habit]. I will always have love for you. I just wish you would treat me with the respect I deserve [but have in no way earned]. I've been down 5 yrs and havnt got no more than 100 dollars from you. i basicaly took the rap and I get no respect. [Now he's doing his Rodney Dangerfield impression? what's next, Dr Vinnie Boombatz? (look it up)]  That's fucked up!!!!! well I thought, since I finally got some stamps I can finally reply. I wish you would start respecting me as someone you love!!!
'The King of Richmond' (The realest you've ever known!)”  [That last part is 100% real. I almost died laughing when I read this! The realest? No comment I can muster will be adequate at dealing with the ridiculousness of this sign off. What a heavy handed attempt to sound like a cool guy. Remember, this is to an ex-girlfriend! No way does playing the cool guy ever work on an ex. She's been in the bathroom after you. She's smelled your shit. Also remember that the whole point of this email is to beg for money! Oh I'm so glad I'm friends with this silly degenerate!]
KOR 11/24 “what? really I thought we just made it through everything; [Im going to say we and then make you feel bad for a bunch of shit you needed] your rent to your sister, the presents for the babies, your phone you needed [you know, the trivial shit]. I thought we got through it baby? [You mean to tell me the babies got my drug money?] I owe a 100$ and I don't even got a noodle right now. Thank god for you, because my brother doesn't give a fuck if I rot in here [because be knows the real me] and everyone else apparently don't care. [Possibly the most poorly crafted sentence in the history of writing, and now down to business] We can do 100 and then 50. [Tell the babies and your sister to fuck off! I have needs.] So I can eat off the 35 from the 50 for the rest of this month [hope I confused her with all the numbers and poor grammar] cause the only thing I have is 2 soaps [just to be sure, one more number]. so work with me on this and I will make that last to the first OK! [In no world, was he able to make it last until the 1st]
[And now back to the unwarranted guilt trip:] I thought you were done with all the present buying and rent. You even had a b-day!! [So there's really no excuse for not feeding my addiction. What are you selfish? Use your b-day money!] Which I think you needed to let loose a little anyways. [You really earned it, putting up with my begging and whatnot] I love you babe. I'll call you after count were supposed to have a blizzard today F U N!!!!!” [Bringing it all together with a little sarcastic humor? NICE!]
KOR 12/5 "Really Jenn? Don't think you can shame me for [well, anything but specifically] expecting a little money every once in a while” [you should know by now that shame is not a factor!] "Its not hard to skip going out to eat or buying that extra shirt, [extra shirt?Clearly he could only think of one good example to save money.] to throw me a little extra dough. [yeah, just go hungry and topless] I didn't bring Josh or Dan into this. [This whole exchange is about his friends and sugar mamma shaming Jenn for not sending home enough money] They did that on their own. They told me the conversation they had with you. I just agreed. I also didn't tell Carol to do that. She did that after her and Josh had a conversation about what had happened. Another thing is Jenn, don't kid yourself, I blew through a 35,000 dollar [insurance] check taking care of us, making sure we had a good time and 2 to 3 thousand every month up until i did that year in county (jail) [Yeah, I was a great provider until I got arrested! And by provider I mean cashing an insurance check]. So don't cry to me about a couple hundo [that's right, he's too cool to say hundred] and your fucking Ford Contour. I think your being rude, and you tried your damnest to fuck frank. [OK this is where it goes off the rails. He couldn't wait to mention the whole frank thing so he just shoehorned it in the conversation] I heard. [I'm confused, was she successful in her 'dam nest' attempt to fuck ole Frank?] That's funny [is it?], not that I care [well, I'm convinced. Nothing screams 'I care and it hurts so much' like saying I 'don't care'], cause I do have a good girl (a ride or die bitch I wish I always had) who does take care of me and keeps money on the phone and keeps me in touch with everyone [but only when I beg and grovel]. I'm in prison still pulling bitches [WOW!!! first of all he's definitely not and more importantly that's the most pathetic attempt at intended jealousy]. my point really isn't to brag, that's not what im trying to do. [It is] I'm just saying, its possible to still have a life and support someone in prison. even a little. you have just made NO effort at all and that piss people off and me. cause McDonald's checks weren't supporting our sort of lifestyle sweetie!!!!!! so I guess I wish you would change, but I doubt it. Anyways, happy to hear your grand ma is doing good. and next time you write, attach a stamp.” [OK, he's always good for a ridiculous ending but this one takes the cake. Let's examine: He spends 90% of this letter guilt tripping, berating, talking shit to, and begging for money. Then, literally in the 2nd to last sentence, he mentions her sick grandma's recovery? I have ask him how he carries around such big balls without a limp! And if you're still naive enough to think that he's done, you clearly don't know the ‘king’.]
[Our royal highness still has enough balls, and not enough shame, to ask this poor girl to attach a return stamp so she can continue this charming and fulfilling correspondence with her incarcerated ex-boyfriend. And now its clear how he became the king of Richmond: By sheer clumsy manipulation, a ruthless disregard for self respect, the freedom of movement that a spineless body provides and a fortitude willing to stoop to any low to accomplish his goal to get inebriated. The same way presidents get elected in this country. At any cost he would take the crown and he did. Without ever being to Richmond, I can say this with confidence: Anyone who would make him king and pay tribute to his court, truly deserves his rule. What a spectacular asshole the king is and I count him as a flawed degenerate of the worst degree. But I also count him as a friend…]

How much does the insurance pay for inconvenience fees?
I was in a wreck the other day and it was the person's fault who hit me. My car is totaled. She was fine and all i had was a cut and i went to the ER and they did xrays and they took out a piece of glass. Her insurance company is pretty good they already have me a rental car and they are buying me a new car and they are even giving me cash for maintenance costs and stuff I've done to my car in the past 6 months and then they said that they are paying inconvenience fees for having to go to the hospital. They have already paid for the xrays and the bills for the hospital so why are they giving me more money for this 'inconvenience fee' and how much will it be? Thanks

Do you have life insurance?
Ok we have been married for 10 years with 2 small boys. My husband works, I don't. I think he needs disability insurance and life insurance just in case something happens to him. And maybe even life insurance on me and the boys to cover at least funeral costs.. He thinks it's a big waste of money but I think we should. Also, my sister asked me if I would take her boys if something happen to her and brother-n-law. I said of course!! She told me that I would then get XX amt. of money from her life insurance... She also stated it's in their will!! OMG do I need a will too. What do I need in this will. I don't want my kids in foster care so I should name some people who would care for our boys..""

What can car insurance sue me for?
About a month ago I was involved in a fender bender. I don't have insurance and I let the guy know that. He told me just to pay his deductable for the damages and we'd be done. He wouldn't report it to insurance or come after me for any damages. I paid him the $ for his deductable and didn't hear anything for a few weeks. Today I got a call from his insurance company claiming that they are coming after me for full damages. All of this after I paid him what he wanted. They are threatening to sue me for my car. My car is worth a lot more than the damages were to his. Can they do this? I'm not sure where to go from here.

Will my car insurance rate go up because of this freak accident?
I was backing out of a parking lot and I hit a van coming up. Considering the fact that the parking lot was nearly empty neither one of us saw each other coming. I did pull off pretty fast but not too fast. Their was no damage to my car, but he had a small dent on the side of his nothing major. We called the police cause he was older and felt safer doing that. The police said nothing will go on our records, but didn't say whose at fault. So we just exchanged insurance info. Does this mean nothing will happen, or will my mom go crazy when she finds out? How much of an increase would this cause her insurance to go up? Why can't people buy health insurance over state lines?
Why can't the individual pick his policy out of state? Why can't this person and the family pick and chose the details of their plan? Not everyone wants a policy which the state mandates the use of chiropractors or psychiatrists. Zogby says: 72% of those polled (1,001 likely voters) supported allowing someone living in one state to purchase health insurance from another state, if the insurance is state-regulated and approved. (15% were opposed and 13% were not sure.) But... Current laws prohibit individuals from buying health insurance across state lines. Rather, they must buy what has been approved in their own state. What industry in America is insolated only to each state? So tell me, anyone that really knows the answer...why are we limited in our chose? Give me the rationale of any state legislator (you've heard)...they have to have some 'reason'. Then tell me what you think is the underlinging reason...thanks. Can my insurance company deny my claim...?
Lots of info, sorry! My car was parked on the street and hit during the night. I drove the car to the repair place the following morning and the airbag deployed on the way there. (Stupid, I know, I wasn't thinking). My insurance company, GEICO is insisting that the damage is not consistent with a hit and run accident. They have taken recorded statements from me and my boyfriend. They have contracted an independent accident reconstructionist to read the airbag deployment. The reconstructionist originally told me that he was unable to retrieve the data, but the insurance company is now telling me that he was able to get a partial reading. And that it shows that the airbag deployed as a result of impact. The airbag did not actually fully deploy. There is no powder or injury to me to justify a complete deployment. Does anybody know if they have the right to deny my claim based on suspicion? They keep trying to make me say that my boyfriend was driving the car, which he wasn't. We were in the house together all night. Also: car was in previous fire; severe damage to front of car, all repaired. accident happened in CA, full coverage policy written in GA I know its a lot of info. Thanks for reading and I appreciate any helpful answers. Thanks!""

How much will my car insurance be as a new driver?

Is GEICO auto insurance tougher (more expensive) than Progressive if you have an at fault accident?
I have one at fault accident on my record. It was a rear-end collision and it is a 2 pt. accident in California. I was shopping for new insurance. I made this statement about the at fault accident when filling out the forms for a quote online. At first GEICO the GEICO rates were looking way better than Progressive or other insurance companies so I thought I'd go with them. But when I went to go pay online, they did one last DMV record check, and came back with a higher rate. Even though I had stated the accident in the form previously. They waited to verify this at the very end and not earlier which I found annoying--they had my driver's licence earlier in the application process, so why wait till the very end! When filling out the Progressive quote forms, I also stated the info about my accident where asked. At the end, the form still considered me a Good Driver and the quote was much cheaper than Progressive. I went to pay and it did not recalculate my quote after a DMV check like GEICO did. I paid and am wondering if I am going to hear back from them saying I need to pay more. But I gave them all the info and I do now have a policy. So it appears that GEICO is tougher when it comes to having an accident, and Progressive doesn't let one at fault accident ruin a good driver discount? Does anyone have experience with this?""

Possible to have such cheap car insurance at 20 years old?
Hello all, i'm looking for car insurance on gocompare.com site and if i'm taking the insurance on my own name, the price comes up at 1,200 for a 1995 Ford Fiesta LX 1.2. I am 20 years old, male and held the licence for 1 year (1 year and 6 months to be exact) and have 0 NCB. Now, here is where the 'cheap' part comes in. The 1,200 was ON me as a prosper and owner of the car. If i put my step dad as first driver (main) and me as an additional driver (second) it comes up as 1,500 for insurance. How is that possible? He has 6 years no claims and held the licence for over 20 years. Never made a claim or had accident. Insurance for a 350z on Parents plan?
Hey there so when i turn 18, im buying a 2003 nissan 350z with my own money. Right now im 17 and have been driving an old civic for almost the past 2 years and have never gotten in an accident or ticket (not that that lowers the insurance at all) and have the good student discount. so i followed the rule of thumb to buying a car thats okay to beat up when you first start driving. anyways, ive been looking for a lot of answers to my question, but all of the people asking it seem to be paying for theyre own insurance. Im on my parents plan, and when i buy the car its going to be put under my dads name (he is 52 and is a teacher btw if that matters). Both my parents are extremely responsible drivers, so im assuming their insurance rate wont be as high as if the car was in my name. the one issue with this car is how much insurance is going to be exactly. I looked for a quote on progressive, and im almost positive it cant be right. when i typed in the insurance cost for my 2003 civic with me paying it myself, it was only like $10 cheaper per month than a 350z, which like i said seems somewhat off. anyways, does anyone that went through buying a sports car when they were 18 with kinda the same thing have any answers for me? or even if you just know insurance well i just want to know. My parents would be okay with insurance going up some, but not astronomically high (like people were saying a couple thousand a year). ive asked them if they can talk to our agent (we are insured with PEMCO), but they keep saying theyll do it later. anyways, sorry for the long question. but any answers would help! Thanks!""

A History of My Wasting the First Half of My Twenties
Being as I’m going to turn 25 in 2 days, I felt like I needed to get how much shame I feel over the wasting of at least half my twenties down somewhere. In fact, the last 7 years have, in my eyes, been not a complete waste, but certainly have not been even close to maximized and I can only hope I don’t repeat these mistakes with the last half of my 20s. In summation: I graduated college with a 2.7 GPA in Communication - Social Media focus. I gained 130lbs, going from 170-302lbs, albeit I’m 290 now so maybe it’s not accurate to say that anymore. If it’s worth mentioning, I’m male and 6′0″. I went through 10 jobs in that 7 years, though one is a repeat and one I only had for 3 days, not knowing that A. I wasn’t good at it and B. That I’d be let go only 3 days after being hired due to “under-performing” without being given much of a chance. So let’s be generous and actually call it 8 jobs, though that still means I’ve had more than one job per year, if only just. I was fired twice. I’ll walk through year-to-year. Hopefully this is therapeutic for me in some way. It might take a few parts. There’s a lot I need to say and not a ton of people I can really say it to.
18-19: I graduated from high school at 21st in my class, coming off a 9-month relationship that had ended badly and poisoned the well on several other burgeoning friendships. For reference, my sister was 5th. Being in the top 15%, I had a decent chance of getting into any school I wanted in my state (Texas) but not a sure thing like top 10%. I started my first job--at a gas station--a month after I graduated. I initially had a panic attack about the responsibility, almost quit and had to pass it off as being claustrophobic due to the little kiosk. I wasn’t quick enough initially to be a cashier so I only did outside work and didn’t get many hours. There was a prevailing feeling I’d be fired. I wasn’t, at least not yet, but worked quite a lot. 40 hours a week and going to college full time, working 55-60 hour weeks during my winter break because my boss was out for back surgery. After an incident involving me (on 3 hours of sleep) getting scammed out of lotto tickets over the phone, I was fired after 9 months of working there, on my dad’s birthday.
I did poorly in college because I couldn’t just skate by on being a smart kid and ignore doing homework until the last minute anymore. I didn’t want to go in the first place, but my mom insisted that taking a gap year would just make me a lazy bum that never went to college and ended up a loser, so I “chose” to go, something I’ve never been allowed to forget. I hated it every step of the way and changed from a Theatre major to a Computer Science major two weeks in. I did awfully in these classes in particular, just barely getting through trigonometry with D and not even passing my Comp Sci 101 class the first time. I passed it in the second semester with a C, but realized I could not--in hindsight, would not--do the work to succeed. I talked to my professor about it and they told me flatly that if I went to a Liberal Arts degree, I would fail. Feeling like I didn’t have another option and, having successfully taken a Speech course that semester that I did very well in and enjoyed, took the recommendation from the Liberal Arts side and changed my major to Communication, with a Social Media focus. I gained 15 lbs, going from 170-185lbs, roughly.
19-20: After being fired and turning 19, I had time to work on my classes going into the summer. I’d actually slacked off extremely hard in my Appreciation of Music course and was in danger of failing literally the easiest class in the history of anything because I was constantly missing the course sessions to play League of Legends in the University Hall on my dad’s laptop. I’m omitting how into My Little Pony I was at this time (and when I was 18) because, though it did take up a decent chunk of my social life, I don’t feel it’s super relevant. I did a lot of pony RP, collected tons of figures and posters and shirts and such bought with my parents’ money (because I needed to save up and my mom supported my love of the show) and I’m sure it got in the way of my success, but it’s not wholly relevant.
In any case, I saved my grade in that class by meeting with the professor and telling him that I was doing tons of work at my job outside of school, and that they were working me so hard and for so many hours that I couldn’t stay awake and was having to catch up on my sleep in the University Hall just to stay functional. While it was true that I wasn’t sleeping much, or well, it was, as far as I’m concerned, an outright lie. He hugged me, told me that I was taken advantage of and that I should know someone cares about me, and changed my grade from a 50 to an 80. There are rare few times in my life that I felt worse than that, but I was getting a lot of heat from my dad and being threatened that if I failed one more course, he would pull the plug on my college education. In some ways, I wanted that, but knew it could make my parents give up on me. In some ways, I wanted that, too. I felt I had no choice. I never missed another class and got an A for the course.
I had a blip on the radar job working overnight at Walmart over the summer, as well. It pushed on a little too long, got in the way of a group project where I shouldered the blame for not doing any of the work (even after we ran out of time on the actual presentation day and I improvised to keep us going for the rest of the time period required to pass). I got the lowest grade in the group and went from having an A in the course to only being able to get as high as a C in the course. I’ve hated group projects ever since, though I will concede not doing enough of the work mostly because I hated the idea the other members came up with. The job was terrible, although I liked being nocturnal, and midway through this incident I quit after 4 months there. i had a rough time with my video editing class, and my education slowed to a halt as I meandered along only taking 1 or 2 classes a semester. This is easily one of the lowest points in my life and I struggled with suicidal feelings regularly. I had a good base of friends both in real life and online and games to distract me, as well as mostly supportive (if harsh, in my dad’s case) parents, so that network kept me ambling along, if only just. I gained another 20lbs here, going from 185-205lbs.
20-21: Very little worth talking about happened here. I went to college with quite a bit of improvement. I was also going to a dermatology clinic at the time to get treatments for my acne-prone skin. My dad chewed my ass in the lobby at one point for my GPA being “shit” and me knowing it, and I started crying and had to think about it the whole time I was getting the uncomfortable whole-body UV light treatment done, because I knew he was right. Me being me, I took “my GPA is shit” and made it “I’m shit”. If nothing else, the treatments really did fix my acne and I went from constant breakouts to currently having almost no acne at all.
I was also in an online relationship (and, in my eyes at the time, a pretty intense one) with a guy in New England and played a lot of tabletop games. The relationship was good enough for a long time and I cared a lot about this other guy. He got a job and stopped taking drugs “for me”. We were very in love and all that, but after a bit longer than a year I found out he’d gotten back on the drugs and was talking to other people basically the same way he’d been talking to me. I told him to go get fucked and broke up with him. I was hardline anti-drug at the time (and in some ways still am) and his usage disgusted me, given it was marijuana and lots of alcohol, if I recall right.
Apart from that it’s a pretty nothing that year that I almost remember nothing from. I’m sure I met some new friends online but I’m terrible with remembering the positives. Moving on.
21-22: After nearly a year and a half of joblessness I was basically told that shit was over with and I was going to be employed. I looked for a bit and landed a job at a small Walmart-like “little of everything” store in a run-down part of the next town over. I worked full time (or as much as they could give me, which was almost never a full 40 hours) during the summer, and for the most part I enjoyed the job. It was very relaxed and I could basically just screw around on my phone most of the time while I was working, until a customer came in or a shipment needed to be sorted, or a delivery needed to be unloaded into the back room and processed. That changed when, doing my usual thing one day, I got sent home because it was “slow” and later found out it was because the assistant manager said I wasn’t doing anything. Which was true, but I was also under the impression that was sort of fine, I’d done it all the time with no complaints before, and so did everyone else. I got very upset and, with my hours dwindling (at my request, but I’d wanted to work 20 hours a week while in school and they only had me on 10-15), I quit after 3 months and went to work at Domino’s after getting a job there.
The job at Domino’s was great for the initial honeymoon period. I got to drive to all kinds of places I’d never been while listening to music and relaxing in my car, the tips were amazing and helped me earn way more than I ever had before, even with the gas expenditure, and I hardly had to help in the store at all when there were lots of deliveries. I worked the oven (taking out pizzas and sandwiches and such, labeling them and putting them on the heating rack for delivery), the front counter, washed dishes and cleaned up in the back when I wasn’t doing deliveries. I loved it, I considered it my best job ever.
Then, like always, the problems started. I liked all my coworkers, and the manager, quite a lot, but I very much disliked the owner of the store. He was pushy, rude about how much work was being done, and made everyone walk on eggshells. On top of that, I had to deal with tons of shitty customers once they taught me to work the phones, and while most nights were good for tips, the lack of a consistent schedule was wearing on me. I could go in at 5pm and get out at 7pm one night, then go in at 5pm and get out at 11:30pm the next night, all based on how busy the store was (or wasn’t).
If I closed, I at least knew I would be there from 6pm until 1:30am most of the time, and could plan around it. This is also where I started taking other people calling out “sick” personally and realizing how much it was affecting me, especially since I never called out. Following an incident where the power went out in the store and the manager, instead of shutting us down for the day and letting everyone go home, decided we’d do things “the old fashioned way” since the ovens were still working, and take orders by hand over the phone, attaching them to the boxes with tape. The day after, I put in my two weeks because I felt like the owner didn’t give a shit about any of us there. It was 9 months into working there. I got hired on to my next job, at GNC, on my birthday when I turned 22.
I don’t really remember anything from school at this time. I’m pretty sure it was an average semester that ended in Bs, Cs, and an A.
I’ll cover 22 and onward if I bother with another part.

9/16
I know I haven’t posted the past two days and I’m writing this 6 minutes before it’s the 17th but it’s fine. I have had a lot on my mind lately and I feel so confused. I still wonder if I’m wasting my time trying to get a biology degree even though I’m not that smart and I feel like I’m behind everyone else. I keep getting that empty feeling in my chest and I have been feeling terrible about my body.
During the week I have been starving myself because I’m so worried about my weight. A ballerina with this gorgeous body is 5′ 8′’ and she weighs 115 pounds. I’m 5′4′’ and I weigh 120 pounds. I am so fat compared to her and I need to slim down because I don’t like the way I look. I have been going about my weekdays by eating breakfast, I eat a piece of toast with some nutella on it with a banana or I will have one over easy egg with toast. Then I go to class and during my breaks I stay at the school so I won’t be tempted to go to my kitchen and make something to eat and I will be forcing myself to study more. I have found a lot of success in this in a short period of time. I feel bad about myself now because today is saturday and I have binged on food. I had chips, ice cream, french toast (with sugary syrup). This is going to set me back a lot on my goals so I am just going to eat a breakfast at the dc with my roommate tomorrow then I probably won’t eat much the rest of the day. I’m trying to stay under a 700 calorie diet a day because that will help me lose the most weight the fastest. I haven’t gone to the gym in awhile so I need to do that so I can burn more calories and tone up my body. I walk a lot from class to class and place to place so that helps a bit but it’s not enough.
I have been feeling more and more alone. It seems like everyone is finding their place at school and I don’t know where I belong. I haven’t found anything that I feel like I fit in and I feel like I never will. I don’t know how to feel like I belong when it seems like there’s no open spaces. I’m a puzzle piece in the wrong box and I’m stuck. My friends from high school that go here all seem to hang out but I’m not invited because I’m not cool enough anymore. My high school boyfriend barely talks to me even though we’re still trying to be friends (I will talk about that soon). I just feel like everyone is moving in the world and I’m just stuck trying to figure myself out. I just need everything to pause for a bit so I can figure out who I am because I’m lost, confused and it’s like my life is a daze of dissatisfaction.
My high school boyfriend and I broke up the day before I left for school (I moved in a week before he did). We both knew we were going to break up before school and it was really hard to think about and live with the months leading up to it. So we broke up and I handled it a lot better than I thought I would given that we were together for almost two years and he was my first love (sappy I know). But I was so distracted with welcome week that he didn’t cross my mind much. He would snap me often and talk about us getting back together and say things like “If anyone were to make it through long distance it would be us” when months before I left he told me we had an expiration date and that I was only a high school girlfriend to him. This hurt a lot to write and I had to take a break from writing for a second because I’m an emotional little bitch. But he basically kept talking about how much he missed me and stuff and how he would treat me better if we got back together. At first I was fooled and I was thinking we would get back together at the end of the semester. Then when he started school and welcome week and everything he slowly stopped talking to me as much and he wasn’t telling me he missed me anymore and never brought up getting back together, which is understandable. He found something to distract him and he wasn’t moping around being sad about us not being together. Since we are just friends its fine with me but I am having a hard time getting over how I just let him treat me like I wasn’t important for so long. He didn’t care about me until after I left and I was never a priority to him. I honestly can’t even remember the last time he told me I was pretty. I don’t really know where I was going with this but I feel like I just needed to talk about it to “someone” who will listen.
I haven’t really been looking to date anytime soon, but I miss having someone to call my own and having that security. I miss cuddling and just laying with someone and talking. Maybe I’m starving myself to distract myself from the pain of missing the comfort I used to have. I didn’t intend for this to be a long post but I’m sitting in my room alone while everyone is out partying and this is the second night in a row where I have stayed in on a weekend. It makes me feel sad that I haven’t found friends that I can depend on. I honestly just need to get drunk right now (I would by myself with no shame if I had some booze). I’m excited because next weekend a friend and I might eat an edible, I’ve never had one but I’ve always wanted to try one. I hope it makes me super high so I can finally numb the feeling in my chest.
I guess to sum up this post I want to be thinner so I will look better and feel better about my body, and I miss how my life used to be but at the same time I don’t want it back which makes me even more confused and lost. These posts have been helping me a lot actually. I always thought writing in a journal was lame but it might be even lamer to be writing things that are meant to be in a journal and presenting them to an empty auditorium like I am now.

Get to know me (thelostegg)
1. What’s one thing you would like to change about yourself?
I have a problem with empathizing with people I barely know and getting attached easily. Like if we’ve had a couple of conversations and hung out a time or two I’d probably take a bullet for you. I wish I could be more cold lol.
2. Are you religious? If yes, what is your religion?
I am a Christian. I will say that I am skeptical about the value of congregating with others though. I like the idea of reading and interpreting the Bible on my own and building my own relationship with God, rather than worrying about everyone else’s.
3. What was the best phase in your life? What was the worst phase in your life?
So far I would say High School was the best part of my life. I know a lot of people say they hate it and wouldn’t go back but I went to a school where you could goof off and still graduate with a 3.5+ GPA so I never did homework and basically just played video games, played football, and hung out with friends every day with no responsibilities. Ah, simpler times.
Worst part of my life is hard to pinpoint. I feel like there have been some really low points but none of them have ever lasted that long before I bounced back. I guess it would be when my dad was in the hospital after having a heart attack almost 2 years ago now. I came home from the hospital one night telling my mom I needed to make sure the cat and dog were fed and basically had a mental breakdown after I walked through the front door while my mom and sister were with him in the hospital. He’s good now and my mental state is relatively fine now though lol.
4. Are you the person you thought you’d be when you were little?
Definitely not. I think I used to believe I’d be a Paleontologist/Superhero by now.
5. Who is one person you would talk to about anything?
I have four best friends who I can tell anything too. But there are certain things I’m more comfortable talking about with each one than the others.
6. Have you ever lost someone close to you?
Too many to count.
7. Have you every had your heart broken? Have you ever broken someone else’s heart?
I have and I have. Neither are good experiences, but both helped me grow.
8. Do you believe in second chances?
Depends on the first offense and how sincere the person asking for a second chance is.
9. What is one thing that people always misunderstand about you?
I think some people think I’m intimidating or angry all the time, but it’s just the face I have. Once I get to know them and talk to them they realize I’m goofy 95% of the time.
10. What is your biggest regret in life?
At the moment I would say it is not reaching out to someone in my family who really needed to be reached out to. Not sure if it would have made a difference but it’s probably something that will weigh on my heart till I die.
11. What things are standing between you and complete happiness?
Myself and my college career.
12. If you lost everything important to you tomorrow, whose arms would you run to in order to make everything okay again?
This is weird. I can picture one person I would definitely want to see at all costs but I have no idea what I would do if I saw her after all that.
13. Does the most important person in your life know how much they mean to you?
I make it a point to tell them every chance I get!
14. If you could send a message to the entire world, what would you say to everybody?
Add more lanes to all roads everywhere. I hate traffic more than anything else.
15. If you were going to die tomorrow, what would you spend today doing?
Probably visit my favorite local places and then reminisce with family and friends all day.
16. How would you describe yourself in 5 words?
Intellectual. Proud. Hilarious. Caring. Indecisive.
17. What opportunities have you not taken that you regretted not taking?
None in particular that I regret.
18. What would you do differently if you knew that no one would judge you?
I would wear my crocs in public without shame.
19. If you could ask one person a single question and they had to answer 100% truthfully, who would you ask and what would you ask them?
I’d ask Ishida Sui to reveal his/her true identity to me.
20. If you could start your life over, what would you do differently?
Probably eat better and exercise more as a child so I wouldn’t have had such a hard time adjusting my lifestyle later in life lol.
21. Are you currently holding on to something that you need to let go of? If yes, what’s stopping you from letting go?
Yes. Probably my own delusions.
22. Are you living or just existing? How do you know?
Living! Although I have hardships every now and then, I thoroughly enjoy my current life and the direction I’m going as well as the thought that my path could change at any moment.
23. What was the last thing you did that was really worth remembering?
*Blushes* Let a boy have his secrets, geez! XD
24. What do you want most out of life?
I honestly just want enough money to take care of myself and my family, a wife who I’m over the moon for, and to live my life constantly learning new skills and information.
25. If you had one year left to live, what would you want to do in the next 12 months?
Try and scrape up enough money to travel to some different places. I wanna see Israel, Egypt, Italy, and Japan before I die.
26. If you could get one wish to come true, what would that wish be?
I have someone I would want to bring back to life.
27. When you think of home, what comes to mind?
My childhood home (my parents’ current home), my bed there and the cat and dog.
28. What scares you the most?
The thought of dying before I accomplish anything or leave a mark on anyone.
29. What is your greatest strength? What is your greatest weakness?
I am a quick and eager learner. Greatest weakness though is that I lose interest in things easily which is 90% of why I don’t do as well as I could in my college classes right now.
30. What did life teach you yesterday?
Monday is everybody’s chest day at the gym.
31. What have you done in the past week to make someone’s life better?
I graced my friends with my presence and bough one of them lunch.
32. What makes you special?
I truly care about people, despite my best efforts.
33. What was a time that you did not speak but you should have?
I’ve never had much of a problem with this. If I see something happening that I think is wrong I’ll usually speak up.
34. Describe what you want the next five years of you life to be like in a single sentence.
I hope my GPA grows and my belly shrinks.
35. If you knew when and where and how you were going to die, would you life be better or worse?
Dumb question in my opinion. If I had knowledge of how I would die, I would inevitably do something differently than if I had no knowledge of the event or condition that kills me so that information would instantly be worthless.
Example: I could find out I die in 10 years in a car wreck and decide to never set foot in a car again.
36. What would life look like for you if you never wasted another minute of it?
Productive as shit most likely. I waste heaps of time right now.
37. Do you consider yourself to be the hero or the villain of you story?
I like to think it’s more complex than that. I’m the main character of my story but there is constant character development going on and I grow every day. It isn’t as simple as being a hero or villain, that’s too black and white. In reality, I make bad and good decisions but who gets to decide what is bad and what is good? It’s all relative.
38. How much do you love yourself?
Depends on a lot of factors. Some days a fair amount and other days not much at all.
39. What or who have you given up on?
The notion of peace. It is not attainable in the living world. As long as their are humans, there will be conflict.
40. Who are you really? Deep down, who are you really?
A piece of shit with a kind heart that loves anime, weight lifting, football (American), dogs, and the outdoors. I’m a complex person just like anybody else is. I think there is a beauty in getting to know a person and peeling back all of the layers they have to them.
