LOL-a-thon TBR

So, since this is a month-long readathon, my TBR is pretty substantial. Now mind you, I never set TBRs since I am a big mood reader, but I will make an exception just this once.

I don’t intend to make it through the entire TBR, but I plan to get to as many as possible.

1.       YOLO Juliet, A Midsummer Night #nofilter, Scrooge #worstgiftever by William Shakespear/ Charles Dickens and Brett Wright

-          Uh yeah, these look fucking hilarious. I remember when these first cameout and my friend and I were joking about them. I know they’re technically three separate books, but I’ll just be including them in one bullet point becauseeee I’m lazy

2.       Going Bovine by Libba Bray

-          Well I loved Beauty Queens and Going Bovine seems quirky and fun, so it goes ON THE LIST!

3.       Hot Pterodactyl Boyfriend by Alan Cumyn

-          Oh yes, this book. It’s on my lowest rated TBR list and seems like it’ll be funny as fuck so I’m killing two birds with one stone sooooooo…

4.       Dating and Alien Popstar by Kendra L. Saunders

-          I’ve had this book on my Kindle for like two years now and it seems like fun so I’m going to FINALLY read it

5.       I Woke Up Dead at the Mall by Judy Sheehan

-          You know, I’m just hoping it’s as fun as the synopsis makes it seem (as I am for all these books)

6.       My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century by Rachel Harris

-          Time travel? Fun title? Sure, why not!

7.       Mamotte Lollipop Volumes 1-6 by Michiyo Kikuta

-          When I was 9 I found the first volume at a thrift shop and LOVED it, read it over and over and over again, but couldn’t find the next few volumes because they weren’t in the bookstores in Canada and I didn’t know I could get them online because online shopping wasn’t really a thing back then. So, I finally got my hands on them and intend to dive right back in!

8.       The Swap by Megan Shull

-          A freaky-Friday type middle grade that seems like fun, so it qualifies!

9.       The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot

-          A modern classic. The movies were funny, so I expect the source material to be as well?

10.   My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton and Jodi Meadows

-          I’ve heard people say this is funny, it seems to have a fun concept, so I’ll take the dive (is that the expression?)

So here’s my first (and probably last) TBR for the month/readathon. I’m not sure if I get to all of them, and I’m sure It’ll change as time goes on. We’ll see!
