RIP K-9 Glory (aka Gory) We are sad to announce that K-9 Glory has crossed the rainbow bridge. He was an incredible Golden Retriever, he worked at the IS Embassy in Iraq, was certified by the US Army and worked countless events throughout the US from California to East Coast. He worked @twins, @timberwolves, @mallofamerica, @valleyfairmn and countless other events and venues. He was great. K-9 Glory retired a few years ago and had been relaxing in Florida but it is always sad to see them go. Just a shot of Rico and I when I was sketching the Hyacinth macaws at the Nashville Zoo. I absolutely love sketching at zoos - it’s a fabulous challenge to draw animals in motion, and I can’t wait to go back. Throwbacks in honor of 14 years. We met Steve Pearson around 2010. I was told he was the guy who could get the best working dogs. For many years Steve had been running his company Performance Kennels which focuses on importing dogs and training Police K-9s. Steve has helped us out from the start, teaming with our company on projects, us working for him or Steve working for us.
